This has gone on long enough. Before you stands Maiko Ogure, head of the trap club, and in her hand is the remote that very well could be used to deactivate all the traps for your allies. You could ask, you could implore, you could even beg, but time is running out and you have had enough of this and her ego. "Pardon, mademoiselle, as much as I admire your traps and contraptions..." Having gotten back in your chair and buckled in while she was in full monologue, you lean forward menacingly.

"No more."

"What are you doing BAKA-?" Your wheels peel out as you charge, before she realizes it, skid marks swing right past and you are already twirling the remote in your hand. Impressive, aside from the fact you're up against someone who's lost more than a little blood.

"Now, then.." You rotate the dial down, and your suspicions are confirmed as No-Star cheers echo through throughout the island in one mighty reverberation. Maiko stands dumbfounded.

"So what shall I do with you before I hightail it?"

"So, then, my bumbling little would-be trap connoisseur, what is your plan now?"

A nerve on her face twitches, her face twitches, hell, her entire body is twitching. "What have you done!? First my grand Kamui stealing scheme has failed due to an interloper, then some wheelchair bound idiot decides to shut down my traps!?"

"Stealing a kamui huh?" Thieving and not capturing, she isn't working for anyone higher ranked, If that's the case, all it will take is one more nudge aaaaand- "Looks like it didn't work out so well, BAAA-KAAA!" Your face contorts and your arms go up in a manner reflecting her own. Highly inelegant and crass, but no one else will ever see it and you have no more time.

She pauses, face completely blank for five seconds, "What did you call me!? ME! Maiko Ogure of the Trap Club! Did you know I was the only member? Sure I work for people but I had plans... GLORIOUS PLANS!" She starts cracking up, giggling like mad. "For the last couple of years I've infiltrated No-Stars, built countless traps, and even fooled the committee into thinking there are more members than just myself! I could even topple the school!"

You hear footsteps, and you sloooowly recede into the darkness provided by stacks of dock crates.

"-I could even overthrow Satsuki herself! HeeHAHAHAA- EUGH-!" A hand, no, a montrous gauntlet of flesh descends upon and grips Maiko's should like a vice-grip. "What was that, 2-Star Maiko Ogure?" Gama face alone is wall enough to block her face. She stutters and Gama's mass increases even more "NO EXCUSES! I GAMAGOORI IRA HAVE HEARD EVERYTHING!" He undoes a whip from his gauntlet and grabs her. "From this moment you are expelled!" Maiko fails at her attempts to plead as he HURLS her through the air toward the ocean beyond the dock. She's flying over your position, Gamagoori doesn't seemed to have realized just how pale she was. He's already spun 360 and is stomping off.

Gamagoori Ira hasn't noticed you at all, he narrowed in on and dispensed justice on the screaming Maiko too quickly for him to see you slide into the crates. You check your watch, 10 minutes; Only 10 minutes are left. Your mind races, even without the traps you can't get back to school on time. Steal a car? Too illegal. Giant slingshot? Too stupid. Rent a car? Too expensive for what you have. Not to mention Gamagoori is right there. A smile creep across your face, yes, Gamagoori is RIGHT there.

And he took the high class gondola to the docks.

The scene beyond you is both desperate, but so helter skeltor it's almost funny. Some desperate last minute No-Stars are taking a chance assaulting the gondola trying to gain access but a wall of disciplinary committee One-Stars block their path like a wall. Gamagoori walks by and with one sweep sends a group of No-Stars flying. You don't have anytime to help them, though you want to. Had they been striving they would have made it anyway, with the traps down. The wall of One-Stars opens up and Gama hastily steps through with it slamming shut behind him.

Everyone is too busy either attacking or defending the platform to notice what's going on underneath it. You hastily finish trying off your wheelchair to the bottom supports as the gondola takes off, heading upward. Slow and steady, but in a straight line far above the mazelike city below. The view is gorgeous, but then, it hits you. Dozens of false homerooms dot the slums. Scores of students who gave up hope and never tried to pick themselves back up again, even as their braver compatriots gave a cheer.

"...Why? Why chose something like that?"

But then, you see it, scores, even hundreds of No-Stars bustling and yelling as they assault the last line before Honnouji, a wave of bodies wash over the last checkpoint, the One-Stars manning it flee, screaming into the school proper as the running of the No-Stars continues unabated. You even see the 2 Star leader of the Matador Club fleeing before the onslaught. Boss is below frantically shoving people when he looks up and spots you, "No Shit. Really!?"

You relaxe into your chair. Boss will make it in time.

Gamagoori steps haughtily onto the loading bay platform. "So, has Yuuto been accounted for yet?" His assistant for the day checks his notes and shakes his head. "Hah! And with 30 seconds to go he'll soon-"

"Ah, good morning, Sir Gamagoori! I'm so glad to see you made it on time as well!" Gamagoori Ira's mouth hits the floor as you roll around the corner, to the entrance. "Impossible!" He glances between you and his assistant, all his assistant can do is shrug.

"Nothings impossible, Sir Gamagoori, some are just highly improbable. Especially, when you find a better way of doing things." You smile sweetly as he looses it. "Oh, yes, and per out agreement." You pull out a small bag, and hand it to him. "It was a bit rushed, but while I was out on our merry jaunt today with my fellow students, I managed to knit this."

Suffice to say that day, while Gamagoori begrudgingly addressed the student body, congratulating those that made it, he wore a knitted beret and scarf with a large "L" on the front.

From atop the Student Council tower, the other of the schools leaders look down. "Ara, ara, So if one of my subordinates bested Froggy, what does that make Froggy compared to me, huh, Satsuki-chan?" Inumuta wordlessly clacks away at his keyboard, reviewing footage. Uzu smiles to himself as he walks away. Nonon turns to the Council President this time, "Obu defeated, Maiko found out, and with others lined up... Say, Satsuki-chan, you aren't using these exchange students to clean up the school, hm?"

Kiriyuin Satsuki wordlessly sips from a cup of tea.

Your mind keeps going back to Maiko. She was coherent enough to swim? Should you have saved her? Was there anything you could hav- No. It was her choices that lead to this. Her premeditation on her acts and her enjoyment in the suffering of others lead to this.

You sigh. The rest of the day passes quickly with most of the students a weird mix of celebrant and zombified from the previous harrowing experience.

You also find yourself ragged and tired. You slowly roll home and when you throw open the door a light flares up, blinding you. "Surprise!" A bunch of ragtag students, even for No-Stars stand there holding party supplies and a big, hastily scrawled banner. Boss is at the forefront.

"Wha- What is all of this!?" You look around bewildered. "How did you all get in here? What about the No-Star curfew?" Boss steps forward, "Whaddya mean? Doncha expect some kids from the slums to know how to bust inta' a place or sneak around?" Grins surface throughout the room and several fists are bumped. That's when you see it, on their arms are the purple bands you distributed. These are some of the No-Stars that agreed to work for you and caught on to who you were are here, you recognize the would be Trapeze and Weight Lifting Club members who started help get the ball running. Suzuki is here too, though sitting shyly in the corner. They give cheers as they bust into "acquired" cider and cake. You're almost in a state of shock, these kinds of parties are a whole new world compared to your high class balls back home.
