“I know. How about we have a nice chat after the god is taken care of?” She asks.

“Yes.” You say without thinking. “I mean, yeah, sounds good!” You shout summoning cero energy to coat your limbs.

“Well, I certainly hope you have fun.” Lucifin says sitting down on thin air while her wings slowly trace lines in the fabric of the world.

“What? You ain’t helping? The bloody hell not! You said we should go and off the moon god!” You point out.

“I said I would keep you company, something I can do just fine without fighting.” She says.

“But! That’s!” You put your hands on your hips. “It was implied! You implied it would happen and-“

“Implications and assumptions does not a promise make.” Lucifin replies in an almost sing song voice which reminds you of the first time you became aware that all men must die.

“Oh now you are making technicalities!” You shout.

“Risa? What’s wrong?” Jager asks from her Iron Wolf armor.

“Lucifin is being difficult!” You shout back making Lucifin smile in a way which makes your bones feel like they are boiling from the radiance.

“What a charming epithet.” She giggles and you want nothing more than to kill yourself because you know nothing will ever be as beautiful as the sound of her laughter.

You don’t want to attract attention, or something similar you suppose. “Fine then, sit it out if you are so keen. If you want to jump in though feel free.” You grumble.

“Of course, I am sure you will do a marvelous job without me.” She smiles and you can only sense sincerity in her statement which makes it all the more creepy.

You sonido forward and leap off of Shiba’s shoulder to get right where you want on the god and send out a barrage of tails. He tries to avoid the attacks but you send one tail through a portal to stab him in the back and make him stumble forward into the other eight. You tear off strips of silk from his robe and cut deep gashes into his flesh.

He swings wide with his moon blade and you melt into a puddle of gore at his feet to avoid the bright beaming light from within the gap where you once were. You send up spears of bone lined with chainsaw blades of teeth lining it and try to eviscerate him. You cut into his stomach slightly but as you grow ribs to clamp down on him like a bear trap his image shatters and he is several meters away.

Your flesh boils and bubbles over the ribs before you reform your top half and turn the ribs into insect like legs. You skitter over the ground with large cracks forming through your cheeks as he points his blade in your group’s direction. Jager fires a wave of small missiles at the god and while she isn’t very accurate the cero explosions give you cover enough to make him retract his blade.

Ryoko charges through the destruction and slams a fist into his midsection but as soon as she does the image of him shatters and he is standing next to her. He swings his blade and cutting moonlight severs Ryoko’s arm at the elbow. She screams in pain then gets sent flying back with a massive kick.

Just finished reading the last thread. Rhymes are back, we should solo more often. At least the non-major stuff. Also want to point that there is a 100% chance that Mendel has the laser trapped in some way.
Lots of panic as usual but we didn't really do anything stupid. Such as accept the water bottle when we knew that they knew who we were.

You finally approach and your long needle like tongue stabs him in the thigh. He slashes at you but your shifting is too fast and so you pull yourself down and bite down on his thigh with your razor lined mouth. He lets out a roar of pain before his image vanishes and he is above you but you don’t let that slow you down. You throw up a cero and fly around to get at his back while shifting back to your regular form. He easily avoids the cero but it served as a good distraction for you to get a perfect kick in. You feel the cracking of ribs through your leg and shiver in delight at the sensation before rolling in midair and slamming your heel down on his skull.

He goes down to the lake below and you see a blinding flash, but whatever it is can’t find purchase in your crazy addled brain. You sonido into the lake and grab the god, then quickly throw him on the shore. You charge after him but see something which makes you pause for a moment.

Jager is crying about something by some rocks, Shiba is in a drunken daze, while Ryoko is rampaging in entirely the wrong direction. Seems he used some illusionary mind fuckery powers. What now?

You consider going after the others to try and help them, but that would leave your back exposed to the moon man and, since the days you were a simple rhyming cat, you never trusted the moon or the people involved with it. You grit your teeth and feel your bones crack and pop as they shift to something more suitable. Your slutty fate engine slot lets out a thick rivulet of time drool… uh. You use a hate engine! Everything seems to get narrower and longer even though you are not actually changing your vision and your body starts to vibrate with the thrumming time energy. You leap over to him and slam your leg into the side of his knee.

Your leg grows a mouth and bites down on his to try and get at the tendons but as you tongue dances over the sticky metallic taste you ignore the moon man long enough for him to attack and stop you from getting a good gnaw in. His blade slices down and you barely have enough time to move out of the way. He aims for your arm at the shoulders, but thanks to your speed he neatly slices your arm off at mid forearm sending lances of agony into your body. You leap up, a little woozy from how delightful that pain was, and let your severed arm part take independent action.

It splits into a flower with an eye for the core and blades on the fleshy petals. It wraps around the god’s torso and pull into his chest. You see small pools of scarlet form on his nice robe thingy as you slam your legs into him. You rotate in the air and connect heel to face and head followed by your tails at obscenely fast speed. He carves lines in the air with his blade and in reply you reconnect with your arm and punch him in his stupid Kabuki looking face. The teeth bite down and you try to tear into him before he can finish but the image of him shatters.

He is below your attack now and slashes at your midsection. You pull back and just end up with a slightly cut stomach and another damaged shirt, bloody hell! You summon ceros to your hand and slam down with them, detonating your arms in your hammer blow before he could reflect it or moon man it. As the smoke clears from the attack, and your hands regenerate, you see his blade is glowing and blocked your attacks. Strange Japanese symbols form and his body glows white. You are able to sonido to the side enough that his instant dash technique only takes out a chunk of your side rather than bisect you. Where he moved is glowing white and as you watch the light beam turns into strange petals of moonlight which swirl around.

He points his blade at you and the petals swarm. You spit out in disgust before flying away, your speed giving you an edge over the impressive maneuverability of the moonlight petals. You throw out ceros and detonate them in the swarm as you fly in circles in the moonlit field. You see he is smiling in his stupid kabuki makeup when he starts slashing the air again. You launch yourself forward and with some quick calculations doubt you will make it in time, but as he draws a line in the air several thick spikes slam into his side and detonate in grey cero energy.

Jager, or more specifically her armor, sends out a beam from the now blue glowing eyes. “Mental acuity compromised. JAGER-AI system now online. Analyzing threat. Threat level analyzed. Insufficient power for current threat. Attempting to compensate. Higher Jager mechs rejected by user. User compromised, bypassing fail safes in accordance with absolute programming. Disregarding the modified Second and Third Laws.” It seemingly chants.

You see the missile and cero slots open up and perform an all out attack on the god which forces him back. The vents on the edge of the armor vent and start digitizing the current outfit, probably to swap it for a higher form but you can’t worry about that. The god lands and with the delay you are able to fly up to him and deliver a kick to his chin. His head knocks back and you see flecks of teeth fall out of his mouth. You spin on your heel and connect a back kick to his nose sending him flying back.

He skips off the ground once and shatters to appear further back and pointing his blade at you.

You skid to a stop and don’t press your attack. You turn and sonido over to Jager where her armor finishes vanishing and her gun starts cycling through codes to get the armor she needs. You grab her by the shoulders but her eyes have a glassy faraway look as if she were in a dream or something. You see the gun shift to some code and start revving up so you slam your head into hers as hard as you can.

She stumbled back, and blinks looking around so you press the advantage by covering her head in fluffy tails. “Jager! Oi! Listed to the fluffy! Stay away from the light!” That’s for if she were dead. “She is dead!” You argue. Point.

She shakes her head and seems to snap out of it finally. “Risa wha- Look out!” She shouts tackling you away.

A massive blade made of moonlight carves a trench in the earth and you look back. Your moon friend seems to have taken the chance to put on his battle face which is actually just a saying. He has summoned a huge fox masked avatar which is wrapped around his body. Two knives are in the being’s hands and its armor is made of shiny stuff which reminds you of your mirror. He holds his hands high and shakes his kabuki hair and the fox mask lets out a yip which summons a halo ring of those massive knives behind his back.

It lets out a yelp and as he takes a step and swings his massive blade again. You sonido out of the way but lose part of your leg in the process. Your regeneration immediately starts regrowing your leg and you snarl at the moon god. “Jager, either release well or go wake up the others.” You command.

“What an amusing artifact.” Lucifin notes from where she is sitting.

Okay, round two will be a little harder. You fly at him and send out a kick, your leg shimmering powerfully in tune with the outside world. It connects with the armor and doesn’t break through so you conclude it is an actual projected ability just not his natural defense. You extend your leg and kick into a portal which forms inside the armor and connect wonderfully, however your leg gets torn to shreds immediately after that.

You push off the armor and massive blade stab through the projected body’s chest to stab through you in several places. Large chunks of you are gone but you don’t let that stop you from throwing out a cero at the brute. The armor catches and reflects your blast back at you and you deflect it away before landing.

Your regeneration messily fills in the gaps but your one remaining eye sees a flash of moonlight and see the fox masked avatar in front of you with both blades raised. You sonido back just as the large weapons carve a hole in the earth in front of you and throw out a kick before you are forced to fly back as the blades shoot out of his chest where you were connected just moments ago.

Jager is currently trying to rein in Ryoko, or at least point her in the right direct. Shiba is groggily shaking her head.

You summon up your ceros and sigh a little at the huge avatar of hurty stuff and then leap to meet the challenge. You use your wings, and regeneration combined with shapeshifting, to slip through the storm of blades. You lose the left side of your chest in one attack and then the right side of your head in another but you manage to make it to his chest plate. You slam kick after kick against it trying to do anything significant against it. You have to keep rolling out of the way of his retaliatory swipes and focusing on his chest-plate.

It is annoying because you can’t throw out cero energy, his mirrors strong enough to reflect yours back at you, so you keep on hammering away with your fast attacks. As your body parts go flying off you willingly abandon them, electing to instead focus purely on offense rather than defense. Your offense isn’t enough to be overwhelming but you are able to keep it up thanks to your regeneration and shapeshifting for now. You think you see a crack forming on his chest plate and smile wide as he seems to stagger back, but that is only for a moment.

A tornado of blades shoots out of his chest and tears you into tiny bloody chunks. You try and harden your defenses but they slip through your body like wet paper. Instead you form your bloody chunks around a single blade and hold onto it, letting the destructive agony of the single blade protect you from the storm around you.

The blade you are on stops and then flies towards the lake at breakneck speed. It lands in the water and everything is still for a moment and even as an almost cancerous chunk you have to wonder what is happening. The blade starts to glow and you dream walk out of the water as far as you can and barely manage to avoid getting caught up in the pillar of moonlight which explodes out of the deep lake.

Ryoko pounds her chest and starts her rage again. She leaps through the air and catches one of the blades in her side. She seems to harden her obliques and abs because the blade doesn’t cut deep. She starts slamming her fists against the thick moon made blade as Shiba throws up a few of her gems around herself.

Jager begins firing spikes at the avatar but without her second release it is not as effective as you would like. She continues firing though and seems to be like a fly buzzing in the Avatar’s ear, enough of a distraction that he doesn’t notice the cracks forming on his blade.

Ryoko manages to break the knife and fall to the ground before charging at the god. He turns to her and one of his knifes slams into her chest. She grits her teeth as she goes skidding back but manages to hold on for a moment. The knife shimmers and where Ryoko is standing turns into a massive pillar of moonlight. You see meat get peeled off of bones and you guess he got vaporized mostly. You see a partially ruined skeleton take a few steps towards the god as meat and sinew delicately braids itself over her body.

The giant knife hilt slams into her bones and scatters her far into the distance with no muscle to stop her. Jager puts herself in Ryoko’s path and stops her giving her a chance to regenerate. You take that as your cure to resume your efforts. You leap over a swing of his blade and slam your heel into his stupid mask. You morph your body into a cancerous abomination and send out claw and tooth lined whips of flesh at him. He starts hacking away at you and you do what you can to keep up but eventually you are just a head atop a pillar of hissing regenerating flesh.

You launch yourself at his avatar’s throat and bite down hard enough to crack it but in response get carved back down to your naked base form. You try to run but a large hand pins you to the ground. The fox mask gets close and you see the blades circle overhead to summon some final attack.

“Oi, squinty!” Shiba yells and I don’t think it was racist.

The mask turns, as do you because you think everyone is talking about you, you bloody narcissist, and see Shiba. She has set several of her jewels up around her and the go juice of the area is all swirling as she commands. In her hands is a spear that seems to be made of lightning and floating behind her are Raijn’s drums. She tilts her head and smiles and you are reminded of a dragon about to eat something good. “Hands off the hot chick.”

She spins and leaps at her drums. She swings with all her might and lands on a knee below her drums with the lightning spear “head” slamming into the top most drum. You can smell the go juice get sucked into what seems like a whirlpool and the gems shatter around her. Even from the distance you are at you hear her forearms splinter in retaliation, but she doesn’t explode. The world seems to get a little darker as all the energy in the area is hungrily devoured by the drums and becomes something new.

Your tail shimmers as he tries to do something in Shiba’s direction and you force it to fail before you dream walk and fly as fast as you can behind Shiba’s drums. Finally the weapon fires and, for the briefest of moments, you are afraid Shiba accidentally killed the world just from how it sounds. An absolute concussive force tears through the ground, the air, and even the sky above. Absolute destruction reigns for several kilometers in front of the blast site and you have to blink away stars which have formed in your eyes.

He starts cutting more moon lines in the air.

You once again drop a fatebreaker in the ruined insert anal sex reference here. Your body vibrates and you sonido after him. You smash through the moon lines and dig your nails into his flesh as you pass him by. You skid on the carved earth and turn to charge him again. Then again. Then again. With each pass you tear off a little more of his flesh.

You slip under an attack and kick him into the air and begin to mime a path of electrons orbiting the nuclei of an atom. You get him in a spin as each pass you tear off more and more of his body until your reach the apex of your flight. You grab him in a hug and kick off the air back down to the ground.

You make sure his arm is free and enjoy the sensation of him stabbing you as you fly at the ground. You let him go and he collides with the earth still twitching so you throw him on his back and slam your fists into his face over and over again. He tries putting up a weak defense but he is unable to stop you in his weakened state. The sound of his gurgling becomes drowned out by your laughter, echoing through the empty world as you beat a man to death. You feel the life drain from his body, yet you continue raining blow after blow at his body sending splashes of blood on you. You shiver as the bones become crushed and his muscles burst sending delightful sensations up your arm, and you can’t help but keep going.

You fall forward and support yourself as soon as his head is nothing but a splatter on the ground and support yourself with your hands wide as if you were kissing someone good morning. You feel the trickle of drool falling out of your mouth as you stare at the crimson mess that was once someone’s head. You feel someone tap your shoulder so you prop yourself up and turn to see who it is still lost in your post “I just totally murdered that guy” daze.

“Sensei? Are you okay? You look really, um.” Ryoko seems unable to find the word she wants. “You look a little weird.” She finally settles on.
