Petermon cries out as the shot launches it back into a tree before sliding down. Bits of it seem to be about to break up in static. In shock you and Jordan walk up to the proud looking Keramon as Petermon finally breaks up, colored fragments of data floating from where it lay and into Keramon. "Now THIS, is why I chose you human." He says, turning to you with his new found harlequin smile.
"Dude, what exactly have you been doing while I was in that cage?" Jordan asks, poking at the patch of ground where Petermon used to be with his foot.

Pretty good. Figured I'd better just start early rather than letting that break later cancel the thread.

"One second guys." You say to both your friend and kidnapper turned partner. You decide to check out whatever has happened to your cellphone. It's still mostly the same, a pretty generic rectangular smartphone with a touchscreen. However, it seems to have fused with the parts of the other phone you'd picked up, taking more of a "T" like shape and having two small prongs at the top. The screen is what's most interesting though. A sort of bar at the top between icons that resemble Tsumemon and Keramon. It stretches from the former to almost touching the latter.
Below that is an icon of Petermon's face with a countdown under it, you'd say it has roughly an hour left. Curious, you touch it and a menu drops down with a button at the bottom of it.

Curious about the prongs you decide a little experiment is in order. "Hey Keramon, hold still a second." You walk over to the amused looking Keramon before pressing the prongs against his right arm. There are two reactions. First, Keramon jumps, rubbing the spot you touched with his left hand. "That wretched thing hurt me human! Did you know it'd do that?"
The second reaction being Jordan's laughter at the scene. "Congrats man, your phone's got a built in taser. Wish I had something like that when Petermon got me." Not quite what you were expecting, but you can see the use.

When you press the release button three things happen. First, the icon fades out like it'd been deleted. Second, the little bar between the Tsumemon and Keramon icons gets a bit shorter. Third, Keramon stops rubbing his arms and puts a hand to his head. "Well, I guess Digivolving takes a lot out of you." He mutters before sitting down on the forest floor.
Deciding there are more important questions at the moment, you turn to Betamon. "So ... Betamon, right? Why exactly did you help us out?" The green monster fidgets a bit, scratching at the forest floor with its talons. "W-well, I didn't really agree with Petermon keeping Jordan in that cage and, to be honest, I think I was done with the whole 'place where you never have to Digivolve' thing."
You nod, that makes a bit of sense. If what Keramon has been saying is normal, then that's kind of a normal desire. "So, what was Petermon's deal anyway?"
"S-she was your usual Petermon really. Sort of violent, b-but really nice if you did things right. I was one of her 'Lost Digimon'. Lately though, she'd started working for MadLeomon. He's the one that organized that raid on Jordan's school."

"While that's a good idea, where do you suggest we go human? You don't have a map or anything and I only came out to this area for the raid." Keramon asks hands on what you can guess would be his hips. Sounds like he's quite testy after you shocked him like that.
"Well, we can always go further into the forest, we could go back to wherever it is you two woke up at, or we could always go back to that clearing." Jordan suggests, the tone he used for the last suggestion making it clear he considers it a stupid idea.
"I-if we keep going into the forest, there's supposed to be a village on the other side." Betamon points deeper into the woods with one of his talons. "There's supposed to be a path. I'm sure if we k-keep going we'll hit it."

"Lets head back to the plains. We can figure out a plan from there." Betamon seems a bit disappointed you aren't going to the village, but says he's coming with. With that decided you start on your way back, altering your course a bit in hopes of avoiding Petermon's clearing.
"Hey, I never got to say this, but thanks little dude. You really helped me out." Jordan says, picking up Betamon as you travel. "You've got kinda stubby legs, so let me help you out." Betamon doesn't say anything, just giving a bit of a defeated sigh and allowing it to happen.
Soon enough, you're out of the woods, once again on the plains with a stream far ahead, and moutains in the distance to your left. You notice a scarecrow a few feet to your right, but pay it little mind. Instead you walk out into the grass before sitting on the grass, all this walking was killing your feet.

A. Ask Keramon if you can just go home now that you're back where you started.

"Ok, now that we're not in the middle of a forest, Betamon, what's the deal with the village you were telling me about?"
"W-well ... wait." He twists in Jordan's grip so he's facing him. "Could you put me down now? Please?" With a "sorry" Jordan sets Betamon down who lets out a sigh of relief before continuing.
"Well I've never actually been there, but I always wanted to. P-petermon didn't really let us go off on our own you see." Betamon digs at the ground with one of his talon before continuing. "I've heard it's really nice. Got a market and everything. Petermon would go there and bring stuff back for us. But uhh, she always said the Ponchomon there were really mean."
Betamon seems to deflate at the end there. All you know for sure is that Petermon sounded a bit like a cult leader.

You decide to think more on where to go later, for now you're curious about that scarecrow. You don't remember seeing that when you went into the forest and it's so far the second built thing you've seen besides Petermon's little 'village.' You hoist yourself up and start back toward the woods.
"Now where are you going human?" Keramon asks, following behind while Jordan and Betamon slowly get up to follow. "I expected you to say something before making your decision you know."
"I'm just checking out that scarecrow up ahead. Look, it even has a crow on it." You say, turning to look at Keramon as an arrow lands at your feet. Turning, you see the scarecrow is much closer and has a bow an arrow drawn.
"That's no scarecrow. That's N-nohemon! He was another of Petermon's 'Lost Digimon'." Betamon stammers out as he moves between you and Nohemon. "Nohemon stop! They were just defending themselves and trying to help their friend."

"Listen Nohemon. Petermon had my friend over here," you gesture behind you to Jordan, in a cage like some kind of animal. Keramon didn't even attack first. She attacked us by dropping down from a tree. We didn't even have any warning." Nohemon lowers its bow, the crow on its shoulder hopping around a bit.
"Wait, Petermon's been deleted? I thought they'd kidnapped you. Well forget guard duty. No more worrying about Petermon's Pretend Punishments. I'm outta here, I'll let the others know Betamon." To your surprise the answer comes out of the crow's mouth rather than the scarecrow. Neat. The digimon quickly turns, and walks off in the forest. You could swear it was muttering something about freedom.
"N-Not many of us really wanted to stay anymore." Betamon explains before letting out a sigh of relief. "I didn't know Nohemon was one of them though." The relief is apparently in his voice, while Keramon mutters to himself in annoyance. He was looking forward to another challenge.

Seeing as it's your only real lead on the area, you and the others decide to go to the village. Betamon is obviously enthusiastic, at least until Jordan scoops him up again. As you make your way back through the forest you pass by an assortment of rookie and less than impressive champion level Digimon dispersing from Petermon's clearing. Once you get past the sight of your fight with Petermon you find the trail Betamon mentioned. What Betamon had not mentioned was the abundance of webs in and between the treetops.
"Yo, Betamon. Does this forest have a spider problem? You guys ever deal with that?" Jordan asks, less carrying Betamon and now more holding onto the thing for dear life. Poor guy has a problem with spiders.
"Uhh I would sometimes see KoDukugumon out in the woods, but I didn't think there were this many."
After a group wide agreement to pick up the pace you find the forest suddenly end, the ground now parched and dry. Up ahead is the village. It being made of a variety of buildings. You'd see clay and bright houses next to wood cottages and one building that you swore was just an Apple store with the logos removed. For the locals, it mostly seems to be a bunch of cacti with faces and ponchos on, with some small black dinosaurs mixed in. Up ahead, at what looks like a cafe, you're surprised to see a human in a red coat of some sort.

A. Ask the locals if they'd seen any of the students from your school.

"Oh finally, someone else." In relief you quickly jog over to the cafe. As you get closer you realize a few things. This mysterious person is an older woman, they're wearing a red and purple striped hat, and that you're pretty sure you'd realize if someone like this had been at your high school. Then again, not like you knew everyone in your class and it has been getting close to Halloween back home.
"H-hello." You say, a little out of breath from your jog while the others are still on their way, having decided to just walk. At this close distance you realize it's a dress, not a coat, and that she is quite pale. "Sorry, I just haven't seen another human besides my buddy Jordan since I got here."
Setting her drink down, she tilts her head up and smiles at you. "Now now, no need to get yourself all worked up. Take a seat, I hear the forest is quite dangerous. Lots of Dokugumon and the sort." She sets her elbows on the table and rests her chin in her palm. "Now, what's a young human boy doing all the way out here?"

"Actually, before we talk about me, could I ask you something?" As you ask your question, you sit down in the free seat across from her. It's surprisingly comfy for how it looked.
She smiles again, exposing some surprisingly sharp teeth as she does. "Of course. What is it young man?" He tilts her head a bit to the side as she says it. You can't really tell through her sunglasses, but you'd swear her eyes are closed.
"Well, I was wondering if you'd see any other humans? As far as I know, my whole school got pulled through to the Digital World, but I've ony run into Jordan." You look over your shoulder as you say Jordan, you see the others have stopped and are looking at your sort of oddly. Well, everyone but Keramon who seems to be laughing.
"Hmm, I can't say I have recently. A while ago I met a nice young man named Jacob with an Elecmon. Oh, but I haven't heard much about them since." Her free hand reaches forward and settles on yours. "Now, as I was saying, what about you? What're you doing here?" You jump at the sudden feeling of her glove on your hand, or you would if something didn't stop you. Looking down, you realize the seat of the chair you had sat down on was covered in sticky web.
