Tl;dr it's a not specialised field mysticism.
This would specify it down more to enchantment and enhancement, so we for example could start hardening and enchanting our own body in the middle of a fight.

Specific usage would be turning a portion of our skin into iron so we wouldn't be cut. Or giving the spit in our mouth an acidic boost before we spit it at the enemy.

Overall usage would be directly enhancing clothes/items/etc, so a pen would not run out of ink, clothes would self-clean, we could have a permanent sustained enchantment to make us generally stronger, etc etc.

Could be fun, I feel like we have little or no agency in this due to not being given enough information about our capabilities.

Later we have to start drawing sigils, runes and wards into our bones and the inside of our skin in order to produce permanent and/or at-will magical affects, and do other things like hide muscle-crossbows n our arms, and later experiment with alchemy to produce explosions, and instead of going straight for guns like assholes, have explosive yamato cannon attacks with the explosive force constrained and focused by spellfields.

All in all I think it has potential.
