I don’t think we can trust them at the moment, they could say anything about her because we don’t have info (i.e. She was ours to begin with, we just want to realize her true potential, etc.). For all we know, Cole’s made by a rival company and Umbrella wants to reverse engineer an army of inferior clones. If we want to know about her it has to come from her own mouth, not from someone else. And besides, she experienced something so horrible that she was afraid of losing her powers for a second.
