Well I grab her by the gi and lift her up to look into her eyes, and they're the deepest, darkest blue ever, and I tell her, 'because I say so, you little blue bitch!' And she says, 'well, if you say so, sukeban.'”

“You're lucky, all my gang call me aniki.”

“Really? I knew you were kinda butch, but that sounds a little too dyke for you, Aoi-chan.” Chisato leans back, talking over her shoulder while driving the mini-van one-handed. The other she digs for a pack of cigarettes with, and you push the lighter in for her. “Hey thanks. Anyways, she just starts hanging around with my gang, see, even though she's like, three or four years younger than us, and just like, hanging out, ya know? Freaky, quiet little kid, doesn't cause trouble, does what she's told, prolly cooler than most of my gang.” the cigarette lighter pops, and she picks it up, steering the van with her knee, causing Kiku to make a terrified squeaking noise.

Well, it doesn't take me too long to put two and two together....”

Kiku-chan's sharp intake of breath is amusing, and not entirely unexpected. A spirit-child, using supernatural force against a human is VERY dangerous and really touchy.

“No one every got caught for that, Chi-chan,” you point out politely, making her snort. “Besides, I was twelve, and no one saw me do anything of the sort.”

Kiku-chan gasps aloud and you crane your head back at her Yui-style. “Oh, please, like I'd ever use my real skills on a person like that,” you scoff mildly.

“Yeah, right, he still makes up stories about how seven-twelve-twenty guys ganged up on him with baseball bats and nunchaku and a hammer, you fucking brat.” She punches you on the shoulder, pretty hard and you jerk back.

“Hey, that hurt, and I'm not listening, lalalalalalala!” You cover your ears and glance in the mirror, though rather than amused, your onee-chan is kind of looking a little motion sick, and Kiku-chan is staring at the truck looming ahead, which Chistao whips the van around to the sound of blaring horns.

“Anyways, I got this cute little hottie, who just happens to be a goddamn black belt, and I start thinkin', maybe we should go into business for ourselves. But, turns out the prick actually had the Yak ties he said he did, and they send a couple of guys to rough me up. But before they do, this little hottie takes one of them aside, and talks to him all quiet like, and he gets his friend, and she starts talking to them, and after a while they come up to me and say, 'you get this area makin' money, and it's yours.' So, I grab this little brat by the ear....” She slaps your leg and you dutifully yelp and rub your thigh, naturally baring quite a bit of it for your Yakuza friend. “Anyways, I make her tell me what she told them, and damned if she doesn't have a fuckin' brain in that pretty little head of hers! Anyways, she got me started, and kept me out of trouble for a while, until I got assigned a good section of Harajuku!”

You glance back at Jinyuu and Kiku, and though they're pale and terrified, they're both quiet and serious as well.

You grin and wave your hand at them. “She's one hundred percent real. Ryo has a lot of fingers in a lot of pies, but almost none of them are the kind Chisato would be involved in. Same with the Kaga and the Hojo.” 'Real' of course, meaning 'human.' You take the cigarette from Chi-chan's lips and take a drag, careful not to actually inhale the smoke. “She owes me a couple of little favors, is all.”

Chi-chan leans forward, making the van swerve wildly, much to the alarm of the two dragonettes in back. “Fuck that, I owe you my goddamn life, Aoi!” You smirk as she takes the cigarette from your fingers with her lips, and to Kiku and Jinyuu's relief seems to put her full attention back on driving. “You sure you don't need anythin' else, hot stuff? I can get whatever you need, you know....” As she nears your home, she loses her reckless driving skills.

Oh, who are you kidding, she's go for Kiku in a heartbeat, get her ass kicked, and be totally happy about it. “Jus' kiddin'!” she claims to your stricken companions as you help Jinyuu-onee-sama and Kiku-chan out of the car. Neither of them are steady on their feet, so you take Yumiko out of the back and hoist her over your shoulder, after making sure no one is paying you any attention.

Funny thing, people rarely pay attention anything that goes on near your apartment building.

You do walk around to Chisato's side of the car and kiss her cheek, which she returns, in a friendly manner as you deliver yours....though her eyes pop wide as you take advantage of her leaning out to gently squeeze her medium sized, but perfectly soft breast. “Eheh, fuck, Aoi-chan, don't fuckin' tease!” She's blushing quite badly, and you can see your priestess' hair has exploded and she's covering her mouth with the sleeve of her boy's kimono. “Anyways! You have fun with your kidnap victim! If you want to sell pictures, I got an outlet in Hikkamoriville that's exclusive and pays top dollar, too!”

Akari thought I was just at clubs in school.”

Jinyuu frowns faintly at you. “For shame, Aka-chan, hanging out with those kinds of people.”

You glance at her as you open the gate. “Humans? I like them, they're pretty weird.”

“She meant Yakuza, baka dragon.”

“I know what she meant, bitsy dragon, I was being polite.”

You slide your hand through Kiku-chan's hair and she glances sidelong at you from those golden eyes. The smile that the glance elicits from you is soft, and warm. You really can't help it, she just does that to you. “Your sister probably would be throttling you, but you'll have to make do with this.”

She glances down, her tail sliding up along your calf, the tip tickling your thigh. “Hai, baka-dragon.”

“Go on up, Kiku-chan, and take this with you,” you say as you gently hand her your sister's secretary. “Jinyuu-onee-sama and I will be up in a moment.”

While Kiku makes no indication that she suspects you are about to have a fight with your older sister, she's too well trained and too old not to see the signs. Jinyuu is watching as you hand off her secretary, and you warn Kiku not to let anyone take off the seal, somewhat unnecessarily by the sound of her calling you several kinds of stupid. At least three of them.

You watch her quickly make her way to the elevator, and wait until she's out of ear-and-eyesight. “I love you very much, onee-chan, but you really can't be doing that.”

Your sister's voice is confused, and there is a small measure of real confusion there, but you can tell she at least has an inkling of what you are referring to. “All of my friends were raised in Clan Ryo or are Yakuza or thugs or slaves, onee-chan. Yui was literally a slave, Chisato is Yakuza, Akari was coerced into being a watchdog over me, Kiku betrayed Clan Ryo for love, Kiki-hime was experimented on by a demon-child....by all rights, me and all my loved ones are little more than eta.”

“I can understand why you do not like Clan Ryo, but I didn't have the choice you did, and I'm sure if I had been given that choice, it would have ended badly for anyone who helped me.” You understand full well Oba-san wouldn't have let Jinyuu-onee-sama take you away and live, and you personally like her alive and safe. “But please do not treat them like they are so much less. If the human Yakuza troubles you so....I might wonder what you think of Yui.” Of course, in most dragonette's minds, the humans can't really compare to the spirit-children. You know she appreciates Yui, and is glad for Akari, but still, you don't want any of your friends accidentally thought less of.

“Gomennasai, Aka-chan. I see that you have grown wise in the way of the heart, and beg your forgiveness.” Her arms slide around your shoulders from behind and you relax, knowing that it's all right.

“I'm glad that we got that settles. Now for something really hard. And you're coming with me, because I don't want to vanish without a trace.” You squeeze your sister's hands and take a deep breath and start walking towards the office. “I have to go pay rent.”

Your sister laughs softly....and then stops as she realizes you are completely serious. “Is the ooya here a youkai or demon, Aka-chan?”

“....well, that's kind of debatable, really....” you reply worriedly.

The tiny dog house next to the office, with it's pretty lawn, lovely water feature, bamboo tapper, and peaceful exterior makes you shudder. You reach into nowhere and pull out a horse hock. “Wan-wan! Here Wan-wan!” You through the hindquarter of the horse onto the lawn and Jinyuu-onee-sama stifles a gasp as the massive black and gold beast that guards the apartments forces it's way free of the doghouse, and starts tearing the hundred pounds of horseflesh apart.

Gently pushing your onee-chan to the side opposite the massive beast, you casually walk down the sidewalk, which by no small coincidence is still close enough for him to casually take large mouthfuls of anyone walking past no matter where he is in his yard. You recall quite vividly your first encounter, and you think he likes how you taste, so it is with a great deal of forced courage you lightly pat his massive forehead.

“I have an appointment with Ooya-sama, Wan-wan. I'll see if I can get another of those later.” Wan-wan's eye – the only one you can see, because his eye alone is the twice the size of your head, watches as you walk past, but he does not interrupt consuming the treat you gave him.

Jinyuu-onee-sama, of course, gracefully glides past him without a thought and you envy her the aplomb with which she can treat such a massive monster. Then again, she didn't accidentally break into the yard.

You open the office door, and close it after you, breathing hard. Your sister looks at you curiously, but doesn't say anything, as she turns to look at the office. It's a nice, tidy, neat little office, but the secretary is at lunch, as always. You're fairly certain the secretary was lunch at some point.

You lean over the desk and hit the intercom. “Ryuu Ryukussa here to pay rent, Ooya-sama.”

“Hhhmnnnn.”

“Thank you, Ooya-sama.” You turn off the intercom and speak very quietly to your sister. “It's usually best not to make any sudden moves, or speak very loudly. Also, try not to stare at anything.”

“You are being very mysterious, Aka-chan.”

“....not really....” you say as you open the door to the main office.

Letting your eyes adjust to the indescribable color of Ooya-sama's lamp, you walk in careful to remain on the thin, fragile bridge that leads to the desk. Ooya-san is sitting atop it, having a snack, and looks at you with what you chose to interpret as a friendly smile. He speaks, and her lips move in the semblance of some language, but all he says is “HHHmmnnn?

“Yes, Ooya-sama. Oh, this is my elder sister Ryuu Jinyuu.”

“Hhhhmmnnn.”

“Yes, she is, thank you, Ooya-sama.” You're heart beats faster as you consider how to describe your new situation. “I will have two roommates of my own, as well as my wife, and my priestess and her personal assistant, Ooya-sama.” You try to ignore the walls which are dissolving into iridescent blue slime, and try not to stare at the huge black sun which is looking at you from the upper left hand section of the universe.

“Hhhmmmn!”

“Of course, Ooya-sama.” You cautiously approach her desk, and pull the total rent for the new apartment on his desk. He looks it over, and nods appreciatively.

“Hhhmmn.”

“Thank you, Ooya-sama, we will! Have a good evening, please.” You bow several times and slowly, slowly back away, using your tail to make sure you don't mis-step, and close the door in front of you.

You carefully make sure the office is closed, and the door quite secure before turning around and placing your back against it. Verifying that your sister is still in this room, with all the requite sets of properly formed organs, extremities and clothing (though she does look a little pale, she should get more sun) takes only a few seconds.

At that point you feel fairly secure that you can commence giggling like a madwoman, slumping in a twitching, spastic heap on the floor, and muttering mindless prayers to the kamuy and the kami that you managed to pay rent and get the upgrade to the apartment with minimal trouble. Ia Tsathoggua that she didn't want to keep you from your guests, or worse, that he wanted to shoot the breeze.

You feel your sister's hand on the back of your neck and she is tilting a cup into your mouth. “Drink this, Ryukusa-chan,” she urges softly as you wonder when you got outside. Wan-wan is looking at you from the roof of his dog-house, his three foot wide tongue lolling with amusement as his fiery eyes glow with amusement. The cognac burns going down and you cough several times.

Your sister looks at you with concern and you check to make sure you're not bleeding from the ears or nose this time. “Whoo. Well, that was a pleasant visit.”

You slowly push yourself up along the door, and smile wanly. “It was worth it though, she tacked on a guest bedroom for a month at no charge. I'll have to send her a basket of rabbits or something.” You stagger a little, but after a moment, you get your bearings and head up to the apartment. “Thanks for coming with me, onee-sama.” After making sure Wan-wan is back in his house, which he is, you confide quietly, “Sometimes Ooya-sama likes to make small talk.”

“I see.... Sometimes, Aka-chan, I worry about you.”

Sighing softly, you can't help but agree with her. Well, worry about you, that is. You mean , worrying yourself about....a fuck it.

You open the door after taking the elevator up, and your household is already gathered in the much larger living room. They seem a little bemused, and you sympathize – when you first upgraded from the studio, walking into a room and then out into a hallway and then into a kitchen you didn't have before was....disconcerting.

Jinyuu-onee-sama looks quite....strange. She looks half afraid, and half relieved. Then she sees Er Yin, and her shock is palpable to you. You glance at her sidelong, and she blushes, deeply, and lowers her head, her hands flat along her obi in shame. Satisfied she will not do or say anything untoward, you greet your family.

You stand up as Kiki-hime steps close, only slightly disrupting your plans; you kiss her deeply, surprised at how natural, how ~right~ it feels to have her greet you like this. Kiku melts into your arms, your heart thrumming and your Pearl growing warm in your chest. As you start towards the others, she smiles and slips free of your grasp, though her fingers linger along your arm as she bows her head, encouraging you to greet the rest of your family.

Yui-niji-chan stands up and slips her arms about your waist, looking shyly down and away; you tsk at her softly and lift her chin, giving the blushing oni-chick a deep, long kiss. When your hands stray to play with her horns lightly, netting you a soft, surprised noise and a rather pleasant little quiver.

As she steps away, Akari-niji-chan, dressed in her usual schoolgirl clothes, wraps her ams about you and nuzzles into your breasts, and it is her hug that makes you feel truly at home and safe. Her kiss is soft, almost chaste, and gentle; you try to deepen it, but her eyes sparkle and she slips from your grasp like she were water rather than you. Kind of freaky, that, but the glimmer in her eyes promises that there will be more to that little kiss later.

Purposefully, you make a soft noise as you approach Miko-Kiku-chan and Er Yin-sensei. Er yin and Kiku-chan both open their arms to you, immediately, unquestioning, and without even a slight hesitation. Their double embrace is reassuring, warm, almost protective, and Er Yin turns to face you, once she has a grasp of where you are. As your tail wraps about Kiku-chans, you kiss her lover; Er Yin takes the kiss slowly, gracefully, a strangely elegant and soft kiss for someone who is so violent in the bedroom by all (one) accounts.

You break the kiss with Er Yin slowly, and pick Kiku-chan up to kiss her, to her rather loud and insistent protests, which brings laughter from most of the room, Er Yin has her arm about your waist and her tail around your legs, a half hug, as you molest her lover fondly.
