>Welcome to Avatar Quest. Here are the rules.

Decisions are made by vote. Each vote has a ten minute interval, after which, the option that receives the most votes it the one that is chosen.

There are no write-ins unless explicitly stated

Some options require rolls. In that event, rolls will be out of 100. Whether rolls succeed or fail is decided by the first three rolls. If one passes, then you succeed regardless of the other two. Rolls will really only occur during training, or when trying something new.
All decisions are final. If you regret voting for something, too bad. Think carefully before you make decisions.

Try to keep waifu bullshit to a minimum.

You do as she says, slowly walking to the center of the room, then dropping to your knees.

The cloaked figure steps away from Felna and makes her way over to you, raising her blade high, only to be struck right between the eyes by one of Galda's new daggers. Her sword falls uselessly to the ground as she drops to her knees in front of you, slumping forward as you rise to your feet.

Galda casually strolls over and pulls the dagger from the dead woman's head before approaching her sister, cutting the ropes and removing the gag from her mouth.

The instant the gag is out, Felna shouts "Behind you!"

Turning, you see a trio of men standing in the doorway, two of them armed with daggers, the third appearing not to carry a weapon.

"Well, well, one for each of us. Isn't this our lucky day?" the unarmed one asks before pulling back his fist, then thrusting it forward and unleashing a jet of flame.

Felna jumps away from the chair she was strapped to moments ago, while Galda rolls away in the opposite direction. You duck under the blast, and Felna's chair bursts into flames.

Felna hurls a torrent of fire towards the attacker, who jumps back, the blast evaporating before it reaches him. The two dagger-wielding enemies follow him out the door and disappear around each corner.

Galda immediately runs for the door, summersaulting under a jet of flame the enemy Firebender shoots her way. Once out the door, she turns left and disappears from your vision. An instant later, you see one of the knife wielders, run past the door.

With his focus entirely on Galda, you could strike him as he passes.

You seize the opportunity and shoot a quick Fire Blast his way. With limited time to attack, you are forced to use one of your weaker blasts, which likely wouldn't be fatal even at point-blank range. At your current distance from your foe, it causes him to cry out in pain and drop to one knee, clutching his left side.

The instant the dagger-wielder starts do go down, the Firebender shoots a jet of flame your way. Being even further away from him than you were from the dagger wielder, you aren't in any real danger of dying from the blast, but it still hurts rather badly as it strikes you in the chest, knocking you on your back.

Felna angrily shoots blasts of flame at the Firebender, who is forced to move further back. Felna pursues him out of the room, kicking the wounded knife-wielder in the side of the head as she passes.

Though it hurts a bit, you manage to get to your feet. Taking a deep breath, you finish off the injured knife-wielder with a powerful flame blast before following Felna out of the room.

You see that, in the few seconds it took you to get up and kill your weakened foe, the other two Firebenders have been fighting fiercely. Your enemy is on his back, pulling back his fists and rapidly shooting small blasts of flame at Felna, who scrambles to evade them, countering with quick blasts of her own. As your enemy continues to attack Felna, he also rolls to dodge her attacks, soon getting onto one knee and shooting a large torrent of flame her way.

Felna ducks and takes cover in a nearby room as your enemy gets to his feet, his focus snapping to you.

You begin shooting quick blasts of flame in his direction at once, forcing him to take evasive action.

Se he evades your attacks, her throws a few your way as well, forcing to you be on the move as the two of you exchange flurries of flame. The next minute or so is filled with heat and bright colors as you and he try desperately to land a hit on one another without being hit yourselves. One blast from your enemy comes frighteningly close to your face, the heat of the blast warming your right cheek as it strikes the wall beside you. One of your blasts forces him to duck, aiming his next blast at your legs.

You jump to the right, not wanting to get in the way as Galda and her foe continue to savagely attack one another to your left. You find yourself in the doorway once again; you could duck back into the room and around the corner, then attack when he reaches you. Ort, you could make your way towards Felna or Galda.

As your foe shoots another flame blast your way, you duck back into the room and take cover around the corner.

Things go quiet for a few moments after that, except for the sounds of Galda and her foe fighting. However, you suddenly hear Galda cry out in pain, then let out a gasp. Felna lets out a horrified cry, and screams in rage.

Flames shoot across the doorway from the direction of Felna's hiding place, followed by more flames heading towards Felna's hiding place.

You can no longer hear Galda and her opponent fighting.

Her opponent is crouching over her, holding his blood stained blade in the air, preparing another strike.. A quick blast from you knocks him onto his back, and a second, more powerful blast ends his life.

Felna and the Firebender continue to exchange attacks. The Firebender is slowly being forced back towards the front door as Felna attacks him savagely, shooting quick blasts from her fists and feet.

You rush over to Galda as Felna continues to battle the other Firebender.

Crouching down at your friend's side, you can see that she's, predictably, in very bad shape. Her daggers lie uselessly on the ground beside her, and as you lift her back, you feel a large amount of heat coming from it. A quick look confirms that she was struck from behind by a fire blast. Any burns from the attack will just blend in with the ones given to her as a child during her torture, and you feel sick to your stomach as you think of how, less than an hour ago, you promised you wouldn't let anyone hurt her like that again.

To your right, you hear Felna let out a scream of rage, followed by a cry of surprise and agony from her foe. Then, there is deafening silence as you continue to stare down at the dying girl in your arms.

Something inside of you snaps, and the next thing you know, you're outside of the palace, standing before Kana and Narlonok, who are crouched over Galda, using their Waterbending to mend her wounds.

Suddenly feeling very exhausted, you fall to your knees, barely registering Alara running to your side before you pass out.

"Well, someone's had a big day, haven't they?" a familiar and irritating voice says.

You find yourself standing by a lake in the forest, your predecessor standing nearby, arms crossed over his chest as he looks at you intently.

"Thanks for telling me," you say.

"Hey, no problem," he says back. "Now, wake up and leave me alone."

Everything goes dark.

"Look, I think he's waking up!"

Your eyes open, and you see Felna, Galda, and Lathic standing over you, relieved smiles on their faces.

She winces, but forces a smile. "It's fine. I-I need some air."

She turns and hastily leaves the room. Felna turns to run after her, but Lathic places his hand on her shoulder and shakes his head.

"She needs some space right now," he tells her.

Felna and I, being little children, didn't understand what he was talking about. We thought it was amazing that our aunt was the Queen, and I remember wanting nothing more than to meet her. I told my father that she couldn't be all that bad, and begged him to let me meet her. He relented, and told me that it would be good for both of us if I met my aunt. So, he told me the best way to get into the palace and reach her without being caught. I met her, and at first she was just...curious about what a little girl was doing in her palace. I told her who I was, and she looked afraid. She told her guards to see if I had any weapons, and when they found my daggers....well, you know the rest. After that, when I went home to my family, I remember Felna crying, and crying....and my father telling us that what happened to me should tell us all we needed to know about the Queen."

She sighs. "After that, I never doubted a word my dad said about the Queen. He told us that she hated every last nonbender, and planned to one day wipe us out. He told us that what was done to me would be done to countless other people. And, he told us that other benders wouldn't oppose it, that most of them would even help her do it. I could always tell that Felna never entirely believed that. It makes a lot more sense to me now, knowing that she's a Firebender. I told my father that I would do whatever it took to make sure that didn't happen, and from then on, I followed his every command."

"I'm sorry," you tell her.

"So am I," she replies bitterly. "When we went to my home today, and found Felna like that, I couldn't fully accept that my father had done that; left his own daughter as bait and given his follower permission to execute her. Some part of me believed that the Queen had brainwashed her to the point where father had no choice. Last night, my father told me he'd received a letter from Felna, saying she'd been captured by the Queen and calling for help. The two of us snuck into the palace and killed any guards that found us. He went to her room, and I went to yours, leaving a message he gave me for you."

She gives you an apologetic and embarrassed look, "I also stole some money from your room. Anyway, we got Felna and escaped the palace, then took her back home with us. When she woke up, she panicked and demanded to know what happened. My father told her we'd rescued her from the palace, and she angrily told him that she had been there willingly, and had to get back. My father told me that the Queen had done something to her head, and he knocked her out. He told me he'd have some of his followers keep an eye on her and make sure she didn't get hurt when we went to the announcement today. But, while you were asleep, Felna told me what really happened. While she and I were exploring the city, we decided to play a game of tag like we did when we were kids. I hid, and she says our father told her I was on the street where you were attacked. She went looking for me, and found you fighting four people claiming to be the Queen's guards, and, after the two of you defeated them, you went to the palace. She says she woke up that night to see a masked man in her room, and when she tried to call for help, he knocked her out. Then, the next morning, father sent me ahead of him to the announcement. Felna says that after I left, father told her he was sorry she couldn't see reason, that he'd hoped she would make a usefu-
