Well, it is Haruka's first day of school since forever and you are the one who convinced her to come back to school and join the Helper program. So it's only natural to go pick her up for school right? And you can talk about stuff with her. She's probably curious about how the date went for obvious reasons. You head off towards the nearby apartment complex, hoping she didn't leave for school yet.

As you arrive to the apartment complex you head up to the third floor to where Haruka's place is, you grin as you see Haruka all dressed up in her summer uniform locking her door and checking the time on her watch. You're surprised that she's not wearing her jacket either. But that's probably because she doesn't want to get written up on her first day back.

As she turns around and sees you, she gasps and blushes. "What are you doing here?!"

"I'm picking you up for school. What do you think?" you say as you lean against the rail.

Haruka nods and walks next to you as you both find your way out of the apartment complex. You walk in silence for a while before Haruka speaks up.

"Wait you cooked her dinner?" Haruka says and you nod. "She doesn't really eat too many homemade meals so I made her dinner and showed her some things in the kitchen. Nobody should live on those convenience store bentos." you say.

"That's nice of you. Do you think you could cook for me one day?" Haruka asks. You grin and ruffle her hair.

"Hmmm...maybe." you tease. Haruka blushes and pushes your hand away.

As class passes by, Keiko doesn't even glance your way anymore. Instead she looks up at the clock on occasion, as if she's can't wait for class to let out for lunch. You can't concentrate either, between that and what Kazuko said to you. You just doodle in your notebook throughout homeroom and then get called to the board for the rest of math class. Mr.Whatshisface seems to be at it again. Especially with Haruka in the class now.

But apparently he's taking it out on you for whatever dumb reason, you just silently let it slide. Though by the time you're done with the board marker, the tip is firmly buried within the marker. He'll have a surprise for his next class when he can't write anything on the board.

There's no way you can face Mio right now. Especially not with all your problems. Haruka and Mio seem to be hitting it off pretty well anyway so you duck out of the classroom and head towards the roof. If you can't talk to Mio then Yuki might know about stuff. She's been through a break up before.

Wait you haven't broken up with anyone. It kind of feels like it though.

As you arrive to the roof you're in luck as you happen to find Yuki hanging out alone, listening to music. She opens one eye and takes her earphones out as you approach.

"Where is Rin and the others today? Did you piss her off?" you ask. You remember that they did start going out. You wonder how far they went but you shake your head. No need to think about that right now.

"No, I didn't piss her off today. She and her friends want to eat in the classroom today and I'll feel weird sitting around a bunch of second years." Yuki says as she scratches behind her neck.

"You sit around second years all the time. Didn't you guys go to the beach on Sunday?" you ask. Yuki did text some nice swimsuit photos to you.

You pretty much spill it out from the time Hikaru told you that she liked Keiko. For some reason you decided that you wanted to help her and Keiko get together despite something in the back of your mind eating away at you. Eventually due to your clever way of playing Truth or dare you finally get Hikaru and Keiko alone together.

"Of course Keiko accepted Hikaru's confession but for some reason I thought.." you pause. "I thought that Keiko would reject her and things would just go back to normal."

"Even with Haruka and Kazuko's confessions?" Yuki asks and you nod.

"Yeah and onto Kazuko being mad at me..." you explain what happened this morning and some of the things she said. Which definitely stung.

"Well if it makes you feel better I highly doubt Hikaru would make the first move if they ever get to that point." Yuki says, grinning. "Hikaru's a little awkward. She'll probably stick with kissing until--"

"Or gets tired of it and breaks up with her." Yuki adds. That's kind of a nice way to put it. But Hikaru said she's going to spend the entire break with her at the beach house alone together. You frown at stare at the sky.

You turn to look at her. "Like what?"

Getting punched in the face doesn't happen that often. Especially one that actually hurts. You feel like the world is spinning around, seeing drops of blood fall to the ground. Snapping out of it after a while, you stand up.

"What the hell was that for?" you growl, Yuki goes for another punch and you dodge it this time. Yuki silently steps forward with her guard up.

You don't need words for this, you don't need any words at all. You were always bad with that kind of thing especially during a fight. So instead you run forward and barrel into the asshole standing in front of you. That's way more powerful than a 'fuck you' or a taunt.

Yuki may have been quick on her feet, but she's shit when you're on the ground. You grab her arm into a hold and twist. "Damn that hurts" you hear Yuki growl. She tries to punch you in the head with her other arm but it's not as strong as before.

Eventually she tries to use her legs to get out of your hold but then you grab her right leg and start to twist. She you see a panicked look on her face as she taps the ground in desperation.

"Ok! Ok! I quit! You win!" she yells.

You immediately let go of her leg and grin. "Take it back. All of that stuff you said." you say.

You touch your nose and wince, you look at your finger tips and see your nose blood all over them. "I think I need to go to the infirmary." you say.

"Shit let's go do that." Yuki picks up her stuff and yours. She then grabs your shoulder, guiding you towards the stairs.

Your head feels a lot clearer despite bleeding from it. And you think your scraped your knees when you tackled her too. Either way, it was nice to let out some of the frustration.

I have had an epiphany. The best end. The one with harmony and justice. The best decision for everyone involved. When the time comes to make a choice Wakana should choose none.

Think about it, she'll have significant feelings for anyone she didn't choose, and have a ways to go before truly being in love with who she did. None of them deserve that. The right thing to do is friendzone the lot of them, truly be a friend to all of them, and stop being a flirt. She needs to do this a long time, maybe until graduation. Any of the girls may go their own way, get into and/or out of other retationships, or become closer to Wakana in meaningful ways. Maybe some else will come into her life. In any case, what comes of it will be a stronger, more natural thing.
