You find yourself at the top of a small hill in the middle of a great, frosty field. Behind you is the din of battle; steel and screaming. Beside you is the battered body of an armored warrior beneath his horse, and slightly further away is his removed head, still stuffed into a helmet. The grass all around is white and green and splashed with crimson, and there are bodies littered here and there, both of man and mount.

You take a moment to gather yourself and gain a second wind. You feel something sharp in your mouth. Your teeth. But there's no time for that now. There is a fight to be won. The air is cold, your throat burns, your muscles ache, and your eyes are dry. No better feeling in the world.

You look off to either side and see other men mounted on horses, giving commands to the enemy troops. None of them seem to have noticed you yet, as they are a good jaunt away. Behind you are your troops, engaged in bloody conflict.

You lift your axe, an obsidian hunk of jagged metal with white tiger fur as a handle and trim, and with a head shaped like the mouth of a great beast. You turn left and head straight for the next commander, in his blind spot long enough to gain a sneak attack.

You leap into the air with a bloody cry of battle. Whether it's the new strength granted to you by Ross, or something different all together, you leap higher than you ever recall having done before. The armored commander turns to see you, and attempts to raise his wooden shield, but it's too late, and the weight of your swing is too much besides. You smash through the shield, and bury your axe in his arm, nearly severing the thing all together. The commander falls sideways from his horse, bleeding and screaming and spooking his mount away.

The other commanders are aware of you now, as are the enemy troops. They seem to be waiting to judge your next action.

Charge.
>>
>>34654324
You plant your feet and await the charge. The seconds begin to slow as you check over your shoulders to see who will arrive first. You can feel your breath hastening, up until the first rider comes within range to tip his lance at you. You use the shaft of your weapon to turn away the point, and with all your strength, you shove your shoulder into the throat of his horse. You are knocked back a bit, but he and the beast are sent tumbling. Another rider approaches from behind you, trying the same attack.

You straighten yourself out and turn to face the next enemy. He tips his lance, and you repeat the same maneuver, knocking him and his horse to the ground. Than, with two might downward swings, you kill both commanders and mounts.

The other commanders come at you with sabre and lance, but each one is quickly overpowered by your brute strength and defense. Soon they all lay broken and bloody, and all but one are dead. He struggles to escape your wrath, limping away at top speed. Admittedly, you are so exhausted now that chasing seems like the next worst thing to Tartarus itself, but it might be good to finish the job.

You plant the butt of your axe in the ground and lean on it to catch your breath. You shout at the fleeing commander that if he ever crosses you again, he won't be limping away. He screams and picks up his pace, darting off across the field.

You turn back. The fight is still raging a few dozen meters away, but the enemy seems to be routing. Their devotion to Dordak Khan does not outweigh their fear of death and disorganization. You feel your body moving more sluggishly now, but the fight is not yet won.

You look up to the noon sky. The clouds form a great silver ring around you, as if they have parted and watch you from above. You close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

When you look back down to the battlefield, you focus, and search for your first target. You spy a heavily armored soldier with a greatshield, shoving away your mercenaries with brute strength. You take your axe in both hands, and charge into him. When you arrive, you bury your axe in his back, causing him to emit a scream as low and loud as the roar of a beast. You plant your foot in his back and remove your weapon, kicking him to the ground.

The battle rages on for nearly another hour before your enemy has finally been fully routed. By the time it's over, you are too weak to even stand, and wind up collapsing in the bloody mud and melted frost. You roll onto your back and look up at the sky, but the silvery clouds are replaced by dark vignetting that renders your peripheral vision useless. You hear your heart beating hard, and your throat is dry and stinging. You lay on the ground for a while, struggling for air, until someone lifts you to your feet and walks you away. Things get blurry from there.
>>
>>34655603
You awake at night, undressed down to your trousers and stiff as a board. Your muscles ache from head to toe. You try to stand but your legs wobble like wet noodles. You open your eyes, even that hurts, and look around. You find yourself in a tent, much like those used by the tribal riders. It is dark, but through the flap that serves as a door you can see orange light. Fire. There seems to be talking and laughing outside, but you are unsure who the source is.

You limp over toward the nearest fire. Huddled around it are two clerics, and four of the mercanary soldiers from Doran. They sit in silence and stare into the flames. You sit with them, and relax as your muscles creak into place. "My younger brother was killed today. He was standing right next to me and his throat was pierced by an arrow. He was only nineteen. I killed one archer in the melee. I pray it was the right one." He takes a drink from a small flask, and wipes his mouth.

You apologize to him, trying your best not to sound insincere. He smirks.

"Better reason than some." He stands and tilts his head back, emptying the last drops of his flask into his mouth. Once the flask runs dry, he licks his lips and belches. "But dragons aren't lizards. The mercenary grins, and turns to stare at the fire.

"Long ago, before the Starstorm, the primordial gods waged an endless war. No, not a war. A massacre. They tore the cosmos asunder fighting for the Light of Cronos. But as they consumed each other's flesh, they grew wiser, and afraid. When Gaia fell, Prometheus birthed weapons from her bosom and shards of the Light. These shards produced the first Daragons. They were true monsters, who could exhale rays of cosmic fire and kill gods by the score. Of course, even beasts like these were only made from the rotting remains of Cronos. They were powerful, but the greatest of the Primordials swatted them like flies. However, once Tartarus was slain, the war ended, and the dragons were left without purpose. They made the first men with shards of light, but Dragons are proud and greedy, and over thousands of years, their numbers thinned until they were thought gone forever. Arrogance on our part, perhaps." Everyone around the fire stares it it, contemplating the story. It seems a little fantastic to you, but you've seen some fantastic things.

You wish them all a goodnight and stand, forgetting momentarily how hard it is to move at the moment. The group bids you goodnight, and you turn away to begin looking for your companions.

You limp all around the camp in erratic patterns for quite some time, perhaps an hour, before finally spotting someone familiar. You find one of Leon's Rangers, and ask about your friends.

You find your way to the medical tent. It is a long, white tarp thrown over supportive poles stuck into the soft ground. As you enter, you notice a strong smell of antiseptic, as well as dim lantern light. There appear to be men and women lined up only a foot apart, mostly sleeping, but some talking or simply lying awake. You travel down the center, the only place wide enough to walk, until you almost reach the back. There you find a patient with red hair and her olive skinned attendant. She healed herself a bit, so she'll be able to walk normally by morning, but she was exhausted after a couple of hours. I got four arrows in my back while I was trying to retreat. They plucked them out, and I'm fine now. The wounds still itch though. Want to kiss them?" Pietra gives you a sly look.

The next morning you are awoken just after sunrise. Both Annalise and Pietra elected to remain in the medical tent for now, at least until you recover yourself. First things first, you can't fight hungry. You go around the camp and scrounge up a good meal, from smoked sausage to fries potatoes, to warm cheese on bread. After you are sufficiently full, you wipe your hands and go to speak to Leon.

He is in the Rangers' tent, just as you suspect, and sitting down to his own breakfast with the handful of black berets that seem to have survived Dordak Khan's preemptive strike.

We lost most of our archers, riders, and spearmen. The armored mercenaries, footmen, and clerics were cut nearly in half. We'll only have one chance at the dragon, it seems. You reassure the both of them. As much as you'd like to spend a few hours together, there is a lot to be done, and you wish them well before exiting the tent.

You are back on the move before noon, with your forces in tow. The critically wounded are left with a handful of clerics, weakening your force just a bit more, but not significantly. At nightfall, your troops settle down again, and you are summoned to the crest of a large hill along with your companions. You see Jirad for the first time today, and are slightly surprised by the large slice across his chest. It seems someone got in a lucky swing, and ripped his shirt open along with part of him. He seems in good spirits, though, and Kor is as perky and cheerful as ever.

Atop the hill, you meet Leon, who stands with a spyglass pointed out. When he notices you approaching, he motions for you to come over.

"Of course. You're like a brother to me, so any cubs you have are my own blood. I won't let anything happen to them." You smile at one another, and clasp hands tightly. "Of course first you'll need to have some. Assuming you've got the nerve. Hah!"

The rest of the night goes by quietly. You eat supper, check in with the officers, and lay down to bed.

The next morning you begin marching once more. You crest hill after hill, until the enemy fort comes into plain view. It is small, and in fact consists mostly of a large wall. Through Leon's spyglass you note rows of archers, and iron gates ready to loose enemy footmen on you. It's finally time to finish this.

You continue at a steady pace, but you can sense the tension growing in the troops as you move forward. The air seems to grow thick as you go, and your sore muscles from last night start to act up again.

"You alright?" You jump in your saddle and whip your head around to see Leon. He seems concerned, and in that moment you realize you're sweating quite a bit. "It's just about time. They'll try to soften us up with arrows, then send their ground troops at us. If we try to move around the fort, they'll just flank us, so we have to route them before taking on the dragon. Leon laughs again, and moves to speak to his Rangers. You face forward, and continue riding.

Finally you come close enough that your spotters begin warning of potential volleys incoming. He mentions, however, that they will likely try to use fire, in an effort to spook the horses, which means their range will be cut down significantly. You have your riders circle around the front of the fort, drawing the archer fire while your ground troops close in. You drop Kor by the gates as well, and with her new toy she begins putting dramatic dents into the wrought steel bars. Soon, enemy troops begin gathering at the gate, but even with spears they are unable to reach Kor. You dismount as well, and begin rallying your men toward the entrance.

Suddenly there are screams from behind the walls, and the gates begin opening. Your troops flood in, pushing the enemy back with sheer numbers, and within minutes a battle begins inside the fort, and one much more wild than before.

You head around the side and spy Jirad and Annalise. They are ducked down beside the wall, and wave you over. You kneel beside them and ask what's happening.

"We're gonna take a handful of the mercenaries up to take out the archers." Jirad tucks his sword into it's sheathe behind his back. "if you're coming too, then give me a boost." You extend a hand, and Jirad plants his foot in it. You heave him up with all your strength, clearing ten feet and giving him a good head start. You do the same with Annalise, and then begin climbing on your own.

Once over the wall, you take the axe from your back and look around. To the left, Annalise and Jirad are already cutting down bowmen as fast as they can drop their bows and switch to knives. You turn right, and charge headlong into the archers that way. With several mighty swings, you chop and smash them, but soon you begin to notice yourself being tagged with arrows, despite them being unable to pierce your skin. When you turn, you can't see your comrades either, save for Kor below. Leon and Pietra seem to be in the thick of battle too, with Leon slicing up enemies like ribbons and Pietra covering his back with mighty jets of air which send foes flying.

You give the order, and soon all those who opposed you are put to the sword and axe. It takes nearly three hours to give all men and women their last rights and a clean, honest death, but many of your own troops feel better having done so. And with that, nothing stands between you and Dordak Khan's lair.

"Love." You turn to see Annalise approaching you. "The falls are down below. Leon says he can help us rappel down the side of the cliff, but there isn't enough equipment to bring the whole force. They'd have to descend the normal way, and that'll take all afternoon. Maybe it's better if we go it alone from here on?"

You consider the idea. Bringing only your comrades will end this quicker, but without your troops you take a greater risk to your own allies. Then again, only your allies have any means of truly harming the beast, though the troops don't know that.

You order all troops to begin descending. Those who are mounted tie down their horses. Those who are armored strip down to chain. You begin descending the cliffside all together, slow and steady. As Annalise said, it takes the better part of seven hours to get everyone down, and by then you need to stop to rest, which takes another half hour.

The floor beneath the cliff is made of damp, round stones smoothed by the river during high tided. The river itself runs crystal clear and wider than most buildings. It leads to the eastern ocean, or so you hear. The falls, hundreds of feet above, cascade down in an amazingly bright and sparkling curtain. Near the base the mist is so thick it seems almost like a pile of fluff. The roar is soothing, and yet foreboding given the circumstances of your visit. Your comrades join you in standing by the rushing waters, and peering into the mist of the falls. No words are exchanged.

You order a handful of troops to form on you, and begin heading up river to the falls. The mist is thick, and envelopes you to the point you can barely see the men beside you. You move carefully, and after a minute, you make it through and come to a massive tunnel.

The mouth is large enough to fit the Holy Palace of Lumen through, and goes deep into the dark stone beneath the falls. It looks unnatural, as if some great creature dug it, and you have a theory as to why that might be. The handful of scouts spread out, and when equidistant they are forty feet apart. Worse still, there is no light source within, and you've got only one lantern.

You stand within the mouth of the cave, and order a man to head back and bring in the rest of your force. The mouth will more than accommodate them. Ten minutes later, clerics, tribesman, mercenaries, and Rangers begin slowly emerging from the mist behind you. Your own allies catch up quickly, weapons ready, and follow behind you as you continue inside.

The tunnel seems to extend at least a mile in, and it's only thanks to a mob of lanterns and torches that you're able to see anything at all. The air in here is damp and chilly, and droplets of water echo as loud as drums. The only other sounds are clanging of armor and bootsteps.

Suddenly the scouts before you stop, and shout for you. You approach and ask if a problem has come up. They tell you that something is glittering up ahead. This doesn't seem too odd, but upon looking closer at the faces of your men, you see great fear in their eyes.

You push ahead a little, and turn back to your troops. You take the axe from your back, and plant the butt firmly in the ground. You give everyone one last chance to turn back. There is murmuring, mostly, but soon enough one man breaks away and steps back from the formation. He is followed by another, then another. The more who back away, the more have the nerve to do so. By the end, you are left with Rangers, and just around two hundred others, one of which you can see is a certain gold-toothed man with greying hair.

You suppose this will have to do. You turn and face the darkness, swallowing your fear, and continue forward.

Soon the sound of rubber on wet stone is replaced by the jingle of metal against metal. All around your feet are piles of gold and gems, thrown haphazardly about. Sadly, the ceiling and walls spread so far that the lantern lights do no illuminate them. all you can see are coins.

You stop when you suddenly hear a low rumble. It shakes your very guts. Then there is one great, yellow eye. It opens before you, big enough to swallow you into it's pupil. The eyes blinks, then in a fit of shifting coins in piles the size of houses, it raises his above. The eye reaches a good eighty feet above the ground before it stops, and then there is a great gust of warm air.

All around above you, warm lights begin to blink into existence. Glowing orange orbs which float and burn nothing, but shine like small stars. They work together to illuminate the form of a gargantuan creature, with the body shape of a great cat, and the skin of a serpent. It's head is vaguely bird shaped, save for two massive, curled horns that wrap around the back of the head. The creature lays on mountains of coin, arms crosses as if in thought. It eyes all of you, then opens it's massive maw.

A massive tidal wave of white hot flame begins pouring from the mouth of Dordak Khan. You tell all your men to hide where they can, and raise your shield. Annalise and Pietra emerge from nowhere to cling to you, screaming as the fire rolls over your kneeling form.

The shield holds strong, not even transferring heat to your arm. It protects the three of you for the entirety of the three minutes that the flames pour forth, and when they finally cease, you stand and lower it. All around you the gold has turned molten, and flows like molasses. Dordak Khan looks down in surprise.

"Human. Strong. Die." With that, the gargantuan monster opens it's maw and brings it down, upon you. You raise your axe to swing, when suddenly there is a mighty cry and the roar of thunder, and flash of lightning. You turn to see Kor, clothes singed, swinging the hammer of thunder at the eye of Dordak Khan. The monster roars in pain, and with one paw the size of a small ship, bats Kor away and into one of the piles of gold a great distance away.

Dordak Khan ceases his inhalation, replacing it with deep coughs of smoke and ash. Jirad rolls out from beneath the dragon, and attempts to get around him, but Dordak Khan's mighty tail, long as a town street and thick, whips around and bashes into Jirad. He crumbles to the ground, buried in the gold piles, and disappears from site.

Dordak Khan looks at you once again, and prepares to speak, but at that moment a volley of more than one hundred arrows fly and clink harmlessly against his face. You raise your axe and charge at Dordak Khan, and with a great swing you bury the majority of the head in his neck, sending a geyser of blood forth from the wound. Dordak Khan slides to a stop and cries in pain. He brings a paw around to swat you away, but Annalise dashes between you and it, and raising her holy symbol she erects a barrier of golden light that stops Dordak Khan's paw. Dordak Khan begins inhaling again, and Pietra draw her dagger. With a slash, the air that was currently being sucked into his great lungs suddenly pulls back, draining him of air and leaving him weak. Annalise draws her sword, burning with white and gold fire, and the two of you begin hacking away at every part of the dragon you can reach.

"This is for Dandy Erick! And Lisandre the Clover! And Samuel the Hawk's Talon!" You look above, and spot Leon. He has found some moment to climb the back of Dordak Khan, and is now using one hand to hang on by his scales, and the other to plunge one of his vorpal blades into the dragon's flesh.

Your troops cry out, and rush at the dragon, clanging useless steel against his skin, but winning his attention enough to confuse him. Each time he attempts to breath flame, Pietra sucks the air from his lungs. Each time he brings a great paw around, Annalise erects a barrier of light. And his jaws are so easily dodged, it's honestly pathetic.

Finally Dordak Shifts around and brings his tail about, attempting to smash you with it. You roar, swing your axe, and sever the tip of his massive tail from the rest. Dordak Khan cries in pain and rage. Javelins of ice begin flying, ramming their way into the dragon's flesh. The battle goes on like this for a long while, and even with the upper hand, you lose men left and right to the wrath of Dordak Khan.

It finally ends when the cave is so flooded with blood, it acts like mud, washing away the piles of gold all around you.
>>

At the end, only three dozen remain. You collapse into the blood as you watch Dordak writhe weakly and bleed out on the gold covered floor. Annalise and Pietra also join in, and soon the cave is full of echoes of joy.

You dig Jirad out of the gold, back broken, and give him to Leon to carry out before searching for Kor. She is also wounded severely, but still in slightly better shape. As she lays limp in the gold, she asks if the battle is over, and you confirm it. She smiles, before passing out.

The journey to the top of the falls is a treacherous one, but after the battle, no survivor is going to see himself done in by a cliff.

You find yourself in your sitting room, at the base of the manse built for you with the massive horde of gold claimed from the killing of Dordak Khan. As you chew on a bit of sweetflower, A young woman with red hair approaches with something clutched in her hand. You look to Eva. She seems to have dressed her best for this visit, but she still wears the colors of the Rangers. Beside her, hiding behind her mother's shirt, is Amalia, their daughter. She is a lovely girl with raven hair and a pure complexion, and from what you hear a love of the outdoors.

You take a knee and smile at Amalia, asking her if she'd rather hide than get chocolate. Her face lights up a bit, and you reach up on top of the dining table and pull from a dish a chocolate drop. You hold it out to her, and after a moment of intense deliberation, she comes out to take it from you. She shoves the whole thing in her mouth, and runs back behind Eva, causing everyone to laugh warmly.

"So, I see the temple is nearly done. Are you really going to make worship a law here? Seems a bit pushy to me."

You vowed to make worship of Ross law in your kingdom, but you do wonder at the fairness of such a thing.

Leon's visit lasts two weeks. And as luck would have it, he would be present for one of the most important moments of your life, yet again.

It is a warm summer day when Pietra goes into labor. Her nurse, handpicked by Pietra herself, kneels by her bed as you enter the room. Annalise is occupied in town, so you and Leon enter alone to witness the birth of your first child.

Pietra lies screaming in pain and sweating, crying out for you. You approach and place your hand in hers, feeling her squeeze down.

"Ahhh! You bastard! If you weren't so good in bed none of this would have- Ahh! Happened! I hope you're- ugh! satisfied with what you've done to me!"

You hold Pietra's hand through the process. After several minutes of screaming, your ears catch an alarming sound. Crying. You look over and see the nurse washing your child in warm water. Pietra asks to see the child, and after a minute, the nurse brings it over to you.

"Strong lungs and a firm grip. This one will live long, and make for an excellent king!" The nurse hands your newborn son to Pietra, who holds him close to her, smiling as tears flow down her cheek. The boy has dark hair and skin that it just a bit lighter than Peitras. When he calms down, and his eyes open, you see they are amber. He looks around the room curiously, glancing at you now and then.

"Well? We should name him. A good name. a name for a King."

"Two! Two children! Praise be to the Mountain God, the Red Queen has given us two blessed children!" The nurse shouts in excitement as she washes your next child. You look to Annalise, who is nearly asleep from exhaustion on her birthing bed. Across from you, on the other side, is Pietra, who holds your son, Prince Basilio in her arms. Only a year ago was he born, and today he has two new siblings.

The nurse beings them over. You hold one, and Annalise the other. Twin girls, with think red hair and pale complexions. They cry in unison, greeting the world on their first winter's day.

"Praise the Father..." These are all the words Annalise can form before falling asleep. She still clutches your baby girl, but her face and body are completely at peace.

Later that week, your twin girls are given the names Annette and Annora.

"Sire, we caught them stealing tarts from a bakery in town. The baker is demanding he be paid in full for them as well as the damage they did to his shop when they fled the scene." A tall strong guardsman in a red cloak stands behind two children, Amalia and Basilio. Since Leon sent her to visit, the two have been getting along infamously. They pulled pranks on many of the people in town, but never before have they been caught red-handed stealing. They both look at you with a combination of fear and reluctance. They are only thirteen and sixteen, but behavior like this cannot be encouraged.

"Daddy...the birdie...can you fix him?" Annette holds out a crumbled nest, with a small, dead baby bird inside. The poor thing has its feathers, but must have frozen in the cold snap. The north can be harsh.

"Is the birdie gonna be okay daddy? Can you make him better?" Annora looks at the ground with great, dripping tears and loud sobs. Soon Annette joins in as well.

"They're going to have their communion in the Holy Palace. You're free to come too, but I know Pietra will want to stay with Basilio." Annalise sits on the side of your massive bed, pondering her old robes. In three weeks, Annette and Annora will be made clerics of the Father of Light. They've been studying since they could read, and now they're ready. You'd like to go, but Basilio is causing trouble again, and you don't want to leave at such a formative time in his life.

You round up Basilio and Pietra, and together the entire family travels south, leaving one of your retainers in charge while you're away.

The long trip seems to sooth your son. Perhaps it was the stress of the city that was causing him to act out. You must admit, it's been a long time since the six of you had so much time alone.

When you arrive in Lumen, your children are awestruck by the architecture. Where Dragonfell is assembled by people from all over, piece by piece, Lumen was built by architects of old.

"Daddy! Daddy! Can you take us to where you and mommy grew up!" Annette and Annora jump for joy alongside you, causing quite a ruckus. "Can we go see Grandfather?"

You take the whole family to see Annalise's parents. Old Donnel is white of hair these days, and as stoic as ever. He happily takes both Annette and Annora onto his lap, hugging them with all his strength. Anna sits with Annalise and talks a while, while Pietra flips through a sketchbook. You finally come across a cracked door. Your heart skips a beat, but it may be the only place you haven't checked. You enter.

Inside, left just as the day he last used it, is the bedroom of the late, noble Leman. Weapons line the walls, the fur covered bed is strewn clothes belonging to both genders, and in the center, taking it all in, is Basilio.

Your life was a good one. You were born a nameless farmer's son, and you died a happy, loved king.

You made many friends along the way, including two great loves who cherished you as you did them for all eternity.

Your son, Basilio, went on to become a powerful king. Under his rule, Dragonfell stretched all the way to Gray Talon, and despite seeing many civil uprisings, never saw a true war. Basilio was praised as the King of Steel, because of his firm sense of justice, and his dedication to protecting his family, especially his beloved sisters.

Annette and Annora became Clerics of the Sun. They spent most of their lives learning to heal and treat the sick. They loved you more than any man, and would turn away suitors for reasons as simple as not being as tall as their father, or as strong as their father, or as warm to touch as their father. In the end, they both did marry, and gave you three beautiful grand-daughters, all with hair of crimson red, like Annalise.

Annalise and Pietra were known as the Red and Black Queens. They ruled by your side, and gave sage council. They were beloved by your subjects, even in old age. You had no more children by them, but you did give and receive more love than any man could ever expect. Often times you would come home to find Pietra already preparing Annalise for you, and sometimes the other way around. Because of these known facts, your kingdom adopted a policy of devoted, but honest love

Leon stayed with the berets until his death. He was known as the Lionheart, even on his gravestone. He remained a loyal and steadfast companion to the very end. He went on to have two sons, who both became Rangers, and Amalia was the woman to take Basilio's hand, and give you your first grand-daughter. The two were famous lovers until Amalia was struck with a terrible fever, and did not recover. Basilio never remarried.

Kor returned to her homeland soon after recovering. She wrote letters often, but years later a horrible storm destroyed her home. You'd heard a rumor once that some of the people survived and traveled south, but it remains to this day unconfirmed.

Jirad left to continue his search for the other half of Samael. He did find it one day, in a far-off land. The last letter he sent said he was going to free himself of his curse.

The tribes and cities that sided with you in the battle against Dordak remained close allies with you, but a century later Ferris would be wiped from the map. A corrupt government was discovered, led by a woman who had never been appointed her position. She was hung, but without her the city withered and died quickly.

Congratulations! You succeeded in making a name for yourself! For thousands of years, you remained an important figure in the annals of history. Your feats and noble rule were the stuff of tales and legends even after your kingdom fell to the scythe of time.

And that's the finale guys. I hope it wasn't too awful.

I'll archive the thread, so everyone have a great night/day, and of course, thank you all for being with me through all of this. When I first started these quests, I was in a rough place in my life. But knowing that there was always someone who looked forward to these helped me put myself back together. I appreciate all that you've done for me, and I'll never forget the good times I had here.

I love you all.

Maybe next episode we could explore that possibility?
