"Don't listen to her Tsubasa." You then grab Makoto by the back of her neck, similar to how a mother cat would pick up her kitten. "Makoto is just a childhood friend see?"

Maro starts to hiss and scratch at you. "I see." Tsubasa couldn't help but laugh at the two of you. "You guys do seem very close."

"Do we?" You look at Makoto as you smile.

Going downstairs with Makoto and Tsubasa, the three of you head down to the dining room to eat with your cousin Rina. That was when Tsubasa gasps. "Ah! Crap! I forgot something back at the park!" You can see the panic in her eyes. "I'll be back okay Akira?"

"Huh? can't you get it after dinner?"

Tsubasa shakes her head. "I have to get it right away! Don't worry I'll be back!"

"I can't let you go alone!" You try and stop her. "Let me go with y-"

Before you could volunteer however Makoto stops you. "I'll go with her, I'm a guy too after all."

Makoto then puts on her shoes and chases after Tsubasa. "Is Maro going to be okay?" You whisper to yourself as you watch her leave. "Maybe I should go with them..."

"Makoto will be fine." You think to yourself. After all Maro has been studying self-defense.

Going to the kitchen you saw that your cousin was fast asleep at the dinner table. "She must've been exhausted." You think to yourself.

Although she was only three years older than you, she was pretty mature as a first year university student. Rina was always cheerful. She was always smiling and happy even through sad times like when both her parent's died overseas when she was only 9 years old.

From then on, your parent's took her in and they raised her so you have always looked up to her like an older sister. When she decided to move out of your parent's house for university, you decided to follow her to take care of her. You couldn't leave her alone because of her rare condition...

As you sit beside Rina she started to shuffle and slowly she wakes up. Taking quick sniffs she realizes who you were. "Ah... Akira, sorry I fell asleep."

Rina has had severe face blindness for a while. "Did I wake you? sorry about that."

For a while now the only way for Rina to recognize people was by through her above-average sense of smell. "It's okay, I should be awake anyways..." Rina then looks around. "Where are Makoto and Tsubasa?"

"They went out for a bit."

Rina starts to look shocked. "Eh!? You didn't go with them? Jeez... Akira you are pretty dense huh?" She shakes her head. "My poor little cousin... surrounded by pretty girls but can't seem to make a move..." She then looks at you with mischievous eyes. "Hey Akira!" She calls out to you so enthusiastically. "What type of girl do you like?"

"Hmm..." Her question really got you thinking. "I guess if I was to choose someone... it'll be a pretty fit girl with some muscles that is also a very loyal girl."

"Eh..." She whispers to herself. "I see..." Rina nods her head a couple of times. "I guess I should go to the gym then huh?" She says as she holds up her right arm and tries to flex in front of you. "But I guess I can't compete with Makoto in that regard." Her lips curl into a smile as she sticks out her tongue.

Just then Rina looks to the door. "Ah... speak of the devil."

As she says those words, the door opens as Makoto yells out. "I'm back." Together with Rina, you greet them.

"Welcome back Makoto, Tsubasa." The moment you saw the two of them, you immediately notice that Tsubasa was more reserved.

"H-Hello..." Tsubasa bows in a reserved fashion.

Makoto on the other hand immediately clings to you. "Let's go Akira! Let's eat Rina's food okay?" She drags you to the kitchen while Rina accompanies Tsubasa.

For those who are wondering what is different between the choices.

Rina (Tries to feed you and you get to learn about what happened to her at school that day.)

Makoto (You get to learn what happened between her and Tsubasa from her perspective, Chair breaks and she gets a small wound which you get to treat.

It's possible to talk to all three of them. We're sitting at the same table for fuck's sake.
Ask Tsubasa what she went too get, ask Rina how her day was and ask Makoto if they ran into any trouble on the way.

You situate yourself between Rina and Tsubasa while across from you sits Makoto. She looked lonely but she can handle herself.

You give thans for the food and you start to eat. "Wow... this is better than usual Rina!"

Rina blushes at your compliment as she gives you thanks. "Thanks Akira... but that dish was made by Tsubasa."

"Eh? really?" You look over to her and she was blushing as she nods her head. "This is pretty good Tsubasa!"

"T-Thanks..." She whispers at you. Something must've happened between her and Makoto when they were alone...

As the dinner progresses Rina tries to feed you. "Akira say ahhh~" Was she trying to embarass you? Trying to feed you in front of both Tsubasa and Makoto?

"Come on Rina, not now okay?" You whisper into her ear.

Rina, with a disappointed look on her face, tells you. "Ah you are no fun Akira!" Just then Rina gets a call on her cellphone. Her eyes looked surprised as she sees the number. "Sorry guys, I have to take this excuse me for a minute okay?"

"Who is it Rina?" You ask her out of curiosity.

"It's some guy who confessed to me earlier, I'll be back okay?" Rina leaves you with Makoto and Tsubasa.

"I bet you Rina turned him down again, I don't know why but she keeps turning down guys who confess to her! Do you know why Akira?"

You couldn't answer her either. "I don't know actually..." Even back in high school she was known as Ice Queen for how cold she was when turning down guys who confess to her.

"Excuse me." You try and excuse yourself so you can check out what's happening with Rina. However as you stand up, Tsubasa tries to stop you.

"Ah! Hold on Akira! I'll go with you!" It sounded as if Tsubasa was terrified of being left alone with Makoto. In her panic she knocks over a glass of water onto your pants. "Ah! I am so sorry!" The terror in Tsubasa's eyes were incredibly noticeble.

Her body reacts almost immediately to this crucial mistake as she tries to protect her face from being hit. "I am so sorry! Please forgive me!"

You could see her tremble even more violently as you hold up your hand. Then as you reach over to her head, her panic becomes even more apparent. Relief only comes to her when she feels you pat her on the head. "It's okay Tsubasa, it's no big deal okay?"

Surprise replaces terror in Tsubasa's face. Confusion replaces horror in her eyes. It was as if she was dumbfounded that she didn't get hit because of a mistake she made. "I-It's really okay?"

Nodding your head you give her a smile. "Of course, I'll be right back okay? I'm going to change my pants."

In the corner of your eyes you could see Makoto's jealousy build up.

As you change your pants in your room you hear footsteps coming up the stairs. "Maro? that better not be you trying to peek at me!" You yell outside.

However as your door slowly opens, it reveals Tsubasa to be on the other side. "Sorry Akira... it's just me." She smiles melancholicly at you. "Let me help you okay?"

"S-sure." You were a bit surprised to see it was Tsubasa and not Makoto.

"So what did you get anyways?" You try and make small talk with Tsubasa.

"Oh I got this..." She unbuttons the first button on her shirt revealing a pendant. "It was my mother's... it's the last thing she gave to me before she left."

"Ah is that so?" Tsubasa seems to be a very sentimental person. "Tsubasa, tell me the truth, did anything happen between you and Makoto when you were alone?"

Tsubasa jumps up as if she was startled. At first you could tell she wanted to say nothing happened, but with a little bit more prodding Tsubasa tells you the truth. "She told me not to be so close with you, she told me that you already like her so I should stop clinging around you so much..." Tsubasa apologizes to you. "Sorry Akira, I didn't mean to interfere between you and Makoto it's just it's the first time anybody has been so nice to me so..."

"It's okay." You tell her. "I'll make sure to talk to Makoto okay?" Then, grabbing her as tenderly as possible, you pull her in. "Plus you don't have to be scared of me okay? I'll never ever hurt you."

You then give Tsubasa a warm embrace. Immediately you felt her tense up. You could tell she wasn't used to being shown affection to or anything. "T-Thanks Akira..." Tsubasa was awkward as you give her a tender embrace. "A-are you sure you don't mind the rotting smell?"

"You smell okay Tsubasa." As you give Tsubasa a hug, you could see something moving in the dark hallway right outside your room. "Let's go back down and finish eating dinner okay? Afterwards if you still think you have a bad smell we can bathe together."

"S-sure." Tsubasa smiles at you. When you get back down to the dinner table Rina welcomes the two of you while Makoto pouts as she looks away from you.

Going to take a break for a bit. I'll continue later today.
