Although you were outnumbered two to one, you still dished out some punishment to the two of them. Your fists were backed with justice after all. Although you were bloodied and bruised as the guards pulled you away from Makoto and Anno, they weren't any better off. In fact whatever punishment or pain they gave you, you made sure to return it 100 fold.

"Kou!" Ayumi immediately runs up to you and takes out a handkerchief as the guards escort you out. "What happend Kou!?" The concern on Ayumi's face as she sees you hurt like this makes the pain you felt go away.

She tries to avoid her gaze from you, but you hold her chin and you force her to look into your eyes. "Ayumi, you should have more confidence in yourself, you are beautiful. The things they said about you is not true at all, you aren't expired goods or an easy woman, you are great."

Hearing you say that must've been embarassing her too. "E-Eh? w-what are you talking about Kou? How can you say such embarassing things..." Although Ayumi tries to hide it, hearing you say those words makes her smile. "I-It's okay Kou... Santa won't visit them for christmas! I know that for a fact."

"H-Huh?" You couldn't believe what you just heard. How can a woman in her late 20s still believe in Santa?

"You know! Santa is always watching right? He must've seen how bad those two guys must've been so he won't give them presents for sure!"

You start to smile. "Santa huh?"

"Mhmm! You know he visits me every year Kou." Ayumi puffs out her chest with pride. "That means I'm always a good girl every year!"

"Really? is that so?" All the way back to your apartment complex Ayumi would tell you about what she knew about santa. When you arrive at your apartment Ayumi insisted on helping you dress your wound. You could never say no to her when she started to get stubborn like that so you allow her to take care of you, even just for a moment.

You were surprised. "Wow... this is actually pretty good." You look in the mirror as you turn your face from side to side. "This is impressive..." For someone who makes a living with his pretty face, Ayumi has done a great job of preserving your livelihood. "Ayumi, thanks, you will get rewarded for this for sure!"

"It's nothing Kou... I just hate seeing you in that state." After she takes care of you Ayumi goes back to her room next door while you plan a surprise for her later that night.

"Eh? you really want me to wear this?!" That night you invite over Reiko to your house. Your sister had a late night party with her coworkers so you had all the time in the world to initiate your plan.

"Yep! Of course, I bought it with my own money so you better follow through with this!" You take a look over to Ayumi's house to confirm she was already sleeping. Reiko was as red as the suit that you gave her.

She hesitates again. "D-Do I really have to do this?"

"Yeah, you said you wanted to make your mom happy right? so just do it, if you do that I promise I'll make her happy."

At first she was hesitant, but she couldn't go back on her word now. "F-Fine! but promise me that you won't leave my mom okay?"

"I promise." Your lips curl into a mischievous smile.

Finally she puts on the santa suit. "Okay... what do I do next?" Taking her to the terrace of your apartment complex you help her to Ayumi's terrace.

"Okay, now just give the present I gave you to Ayumi and that'll be it for tonight!" Reiko still had a look of embarassment on her face but she knew the faster she completes this the faster she can go home. As Reiko goes inside you could hear everything happen from your apartment room.

You didn't even have to be there to imagine just how happy Ayumi was. "S-santa?!" You hear her gasp through your thin wall. "I-I can't believe it!"

This choice isn't really an ultimatum so feel free to choose who you like the best. If you choose a girl, the other girls won't go through living hell and I promise they will also get their own happy endings in their own way.

Agreed. While I think the premise of "You're a good guy surrounded by nice women and their awful significant others" has some merit as a premise for a social drama, in practice I'm really not feeling it. The fact that all of these men are colossal dicks to an absurd, cartoonish degree leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Furthermore, I have serious issues with the way the main character is portrayed - this one is a particularly bad example:

Fists backed by justice. Fighting two men at once and hitting them both collectively a hundred times over. The protagonist is either Kamen Rider or more than a little disturbed in my opinion. At the very least he doesn't perceive the world accurately, and is (at best) an unreliable narrator.

I'm not trying to bash the QM here, just trying to point out my personal biggest issues with the writing so far.

Hi there, thanks for bringing this up. Most of my stories, including this one, is usually inspired by shoujo manga. That's where I usually model my characters from so I can see where you are coming from when you say they are exaggerated to a cartoonish degree. I do try to put some realism on the story, but at the end of the day, they will still be inspired by Shoujo premises.

As for the fists backed by justice, I will admit I only wrote that after I saw the gif someone posted of the transformation scene. As for the returning it 100 fold, it was just a little hyperbole on my part.

I really appreciate your input though. This is the only way I can know what I can do better. Although I wrote down my justifications, be assured that I will be taking your complaints to heart. Again, thanks for reading!

I just... don't think that this Quest handles the subject matter properly.
