Hello, and welcome to Curt's CivThread 2: Year 3000. Episode 4: Curt Of Duty: World At War

If you're new, you're welcome too.
We only have a few solid rules here!
Rule 1: Engage in ludicrous, nonsense plans often! Do not engage in bullshit. You can tell which is which.
Rule 2: Make the game fun for everybody, as best you can.
Getting fluffy with your posts and getting in character is nice and might add to Rule Two, but if you don't wanna, I'm not gonna penalize you.

I'm going to wait around thirty minutes or so after this post, to allow everyone who wants to join do so. Then the game proper will begin.

In this game, you play as a growing nation in a small system! Whether you're a colony from a larger whole, a civilization that's grown planetside, the last members of a dead race, you wound up here! You start with modern and near-future tech, and must expand out into the world! You win when you're the last nation standing, you and your allies are, or you create a ship capable of leaving the system.

Hey Curt, had some overflow from Basic Power armor. So we are doing Advanced Power armor. Already discussed this on mibbit but I wanted to make sure that you remember. ALSO, I TRIED ASKING YOU SHIT ON MIBBIT. YOU NEVER RESPONDED AND NOW ITS MY THIRD POST.

1-2) Our scientists have built strong suits of armor that can protect against the hardest bullet and punch through a concrete wall. It is not enough. They are too slow and the backpack that they must carry as a battery is too heavy for conventional use in the trenches. We must improve on the design. Grey Power Armor V2 will do away entirely with the battery backpack if I have it and it will be able to move faster than a simple walking pace. This armor will hopefully even increase the strength and durability of the previous version! That is our goal. Wait? Whats this? It seems like the Eugenicists are going to allow us to use some research place called Prime to work on our Power Armor! We are going to accept and head over there for the research in question. Lets also play some baseball while we are there and break some of their NERD test tubes cause they are a bunch of mcdouchebags. 6/10
