Uzume. She's got great looks, obv, but really she's the normal of the Sekirei. So many of them -- Musubi, Karasuba, Matsu, Tsukiumi -- come across as one-note cardboard cutouts. Uzume is characterized more like an actual person.

As far as the inevitable waifu wars, the only problems I'd have are people who want a Sekirei because of an image you posted when she was introduced, like that one anon who went crazy when you posted Moon Pie to introduce the redhead, or someone who just wants a Sekirei because she's brown. ("What's her character like?" "She's brown!") This is going to be our main cast, right?

So, Uzume is best. Kazehana is good. Benitsubasa is good, and plays well off of Kazehana. Kouchou might be interesting as a hyper-serious foil to the more outspoken wagtails. Possibly Saki as a genki-girl mistress of disguise? She's really only appeared in bonus materials, right?

I also kind of want Shiina in the group as a sort of perpetually embarrassed younger brother character. Kazehana and Saki forcing him to crossdress is optional.

If we're keeping to the canon timeline, Minato hasn't moved into Izumo Inn, and thus Yukari hasn't met Shiina yet. It would be pretty easy to set up. After running into the Lightning Twins, Shiina decides that he doesn't want no trabble, so he disguises himself... as a girl. We run into him, still a little flushed and jittery from his escapea and he starts reacting to Kiddo. Jag posts images of Nyaruko to represent Shiina until we wing him and... BAM... the trap is sprung. Shut up, that was clever.
