Faust seemed satisfied with the report of your new arm, likely he sees some hope in you. A few nights ago you both spoke at length as you asked him about alchemy. He wasn't quite privy to reveal the the secrets of things like turning lead into gold or how to acquire eternal life or anything, but he did teach you about a few dangerous and basic compounds such as Chlorine Triflouride or converting a bunch of Carbon Dioxide to quench air or even pulling it out.
You theorized that you could use that same concept to improve Fiend. Breaking apart CO2 to generate an excess of Oxygen, then igniting it to increase the explosive combustion and heat of your flame. A mad thought arises concerning the trace carbon that'd be left over. If compressed like materia firma it becomes like diamond.

The end result. A fiend that sends shards of small diamonds out at random and a hound with fangs tipped with very real highly compressed carbon blades. It's tough to make a lot or even make it very big considering that it takes a lot of effort to gather all the trace particles together but it still works.

This stuff is C2ClF3. Just remove the carbon and we have anti-Bone gas. Add carbon to the anti-Bone gas and we have a harmless plastic. This means that if supplied with Carbon, Chlorine, and Fluorine, we can stockpile as much anti-Bone gas as we want, and it will be perfectly safe.

Saph's said that acquiring the suits was just a start. The real trick was to reverse engineer them all to possess all the functions. A lot of overs use fire and various types of ammunition are still amazingly popular.

Like this, everyone's going to be suited up in cutting edge clothes. And everyone will receive a unique mask to hide their identity while still keeping them known in their activities.

You go down to what's been used as a common room to keep the suits with everyone gathered around for fitting, large spools of some strange fibers taking up the center of the room. At first you figure that this'll be another of Saph's rallies before the tailor takes everyone's measurements... But when Eloc walks in with the woman that's going to do it, you need to squint your eye, your jaw dropping.

I feel like I'm standing in a model train shop and some of the other customers are freaking out about all the trains. I like my model trains. They're fun to play around with and I get to set up some of the scenery and watch them go and it's fun.
