I don't think bleach will burn. It will however, rapidly evaporate and fill the joint with fumes. In a large enough quantity, this will be quite lethal.

You pull out a pan and toss the bacon in while you get to mixing the eggs. You toss cheese, a little milk, pepper and salt, and stir when you realize you forgot about the bacon. You turn around leaving the eggs half mixed and flip it over… you grimace its not the worse, just extra crispy on one side. If you serve it as bacon and egg sandwich no one should notice… probably. You finish frying the bacon, paying close attention trying to get the sides evenly crispy without burning it too much more.

You butter the bread, ignoring the eggs for now and cook it in the leftover bacon grease until it’s crispy. Unfortunately you misjudged a little and burn each piece every so slightly. Again you grimace, you’re not sure whats up with you today.

Finally you lower the heat and start making the scrambled eggs making sure they don’t burn, the only success you’ve had at cooking this morning and you start serving three plates of extra crispy bacon and egg sandwiches.

Your father has woken up and is sitting at the table across from your mother who still looks mostly asleep. You see Kat wander out of your bedroom rubbing her eyes, pants mostly falling off her. You can’t help but smile as you set a plate down for her, you have just a little bit of eggs, a piece of bacon, and one slice of toast.

You’re parents mumble their thanks as they start eating and Kat sits down at her plate and slowly starts eating, “‘orning,” she mumbles. No one complains, but as you eat you can’t help but feel the great failure in the food. You haven’t made something this bad in a long time.
