You smile, “What and let her get used to something easy then feel like hell when I start amping the pace up..? Nah, sometimes the best way to do things is go balls deep and adjust to the worst. It may be hard at first but once you just do it, you realize its not so bad.”

Kat can’t help but laugh at that, “Balls deep huh? Well I suppose its true, even if it will suck for her at first.”

“Hmm,” you nod, the two of you are in silence for a while and you pass John’s house, who happens to be almost exactly between your house and Beth’s. Beth’s house is a little further away than yours, at 30 minutes from Johns instead of the 20 yours is.

The rest of the ride is spent in relative silence, you get the feeling Kat is trying to be considerate of Beth who is sleeping.

You pull into Beth’s leaving the car in the driveway, and gently shake Beth awake, “Beth, hey wake up.”

“Hm, yeah? I- I wasn’t sleeping just closed my eyes… is all,” Beth rubs her eyes with a yawn, “Whats up..?”

“We’re at your house,” you say handing her the keys.

“Huh.. we were just- I just…” Beth is confused, before she smiles warmly, “Thanks Alex it seems I really did need someone to drive me home.”

“Hey no worries, you’d do the same,” you lean over and give her an awkward hug.

My personal opinion here: I really don't see Alex being all that much of a rush in turning back to a guy or using his wish for much of anything.
