You sigh, run a a hand through your new short hair and wonder why it feels so damn good to do it. You're going to see how the two of them are doing, especially Aomi, since she doesn't have any experience with this sort of thing. Neither do you technically but you did put a bunch of that boduka into that juice carton so it's technically your fault. On the other hand you can just say Konomi drugged you all and what they're feeling are the side effects of that. You open the bathroom door and step into the darkened room. The curtains are closed and you see Aomi on her back with her arm resting over her eyes and Momoko is laying face down with the pillow over her head.

"How are you girls feeling?" You say and you are answered with grunts and moans.

"It feels like my head got thrown in a blender."

"I feel like a truck ran over my head several times. Can you speak more quietly, sister?"

You do speak more softly, "Anything I can do to help?" You ask, trying to figure out what to do after someone was as drunk as they were.

"I.. don't know. Just let us rest some more." She turns and faces away from you.

Well, at least neither of them has seen your hair. That'll give you time to think of an excuse that won't make Aomi feel guilty.

You quietly leave the room and go look for the owner of the house, the short-haired short girl who usually goes out running. You do feel a little bit sick from yesterday but you were to worried about your hair to really notice. The lights are a little bit too bright and your head hurts but you feel fine otherwise. You look and look until you eventually find the girl sitting on a chair in the back porch with a large jar of really cold looking lemonade on the table in front of her. She seems to be just enjoying the scenery, theres no way she wouldn't maintain that forest on property grounds without ever enjoying it, right?

You go out to the back porch and take a seat besides her. She was mid-drink when she noticed you and almost spit all her lemonade outside of her glass?

"What happened with your hair?" she practically yells out.

"I trimmed it. I wanted to ask you for some help with something."

"You sure got my attention."

"Well, long story short. Do you know of any cures regarding hangovers? That's what they're called, right?" You try to make it seem as natural as possible. Was the sunlight out here always this bright? You try to not look towards the garden too much.

"Oh and why would you be asking that? Did you get a fake ID and buy something to drink?"

"Well, I just saw this bottle on the back of the fridge and uhh, lets say we drank a lot of it."

"But we don't have any booze in, "She looks lost in thought and suddenly looks angry, "Damnit Konomi." Is all she says before she offer you an empty glass.

You take it and start serving some lemonade as she speaks, "Well, all you need to do is drink lots of liquids, eat something as soon as you feel like you can keep it down and you just wait it out. Really bad ones last for a while though."

You take a drink from you REALLY DELICIOUS lemonade, "Wait why do you know about that?"

So you begin telling her the truth, how you put alcohol into the juice carton and let the others drink it with you without telling them. How while drunk and high from Konomi's sandwiches Aomi asked to do your hair and how you woke up with it like that. How you tried to make it better but you made it worse, many times worse.

She looks at you and her expression goes from angry and displeased to smiling. "First off" She begins, "Making someone drink without them knowing they're going to get drunk is not just mean, it might even be dangerous. I'm reducing your pay in half for doing that." What? That bitch, "Why are you glaring at me like that? Things could have gone much worse. Going to the hospital worse. You were lucky."

"And with regards to you cutting your hair." She pauses and crosses her arms, and then looks at you straight in the eye, disappointed, "Couldn't you have at least let me see and take a picture? You finish drinking the lemonade and wave goodbye to your boss/landlord/friend. Actually you're not really sure what your relationship is with that girl but it would be something along those lines. Considering her a mother would be pushing the metaphor way too much. You go to the kitchen, grab an empty jug and fill it with delicious ice-cold water.

With the jug on one hand and a pair of fresh glasses on the other you make your way back to your room and slowly make your way inside with all of the stuff. You see Aomi sitting on the side of the with her elbows on her knees and the bathroom's light is on so you guess Momoko must be inside taking a shower.

"Ugh, Hey sister." She keeps looking down, "Can you close the door?" You do so with your leg and put both the jug and glasses down on the table. Aomi freezes when she looks at you, the room is pretty dark but her eyes must have gotten used to the small amount of light by now.

"Just what happened last night? What happened to your hair?

"It involved booze and we got drugged by Konomi, I'm really sorry I didn't warn either you or Momoko. Matilda seemed like she was taking everything pretty well." You say while you fill a glass with water, "Here, drink this it will make you feel better.

You masterfully avoid answering the question regarding your hair.

"Is that why your hair is like that?" SHe finishes the glass of water in a few seconds and you happily refill it.

"Yeah...well It is sort of my fault because of the booze and drugs. You wanted to do my hair and I let you, I just didn't think it would end up the way it did. I tried undoing your work and I ended up making it unto an irrecoverable mess." You run your hand over your short hair, damn you can't believe how good that feels. "What do you think."

Aomi fidgets a bit, she might be feeling guilty it's her fault.

Before you close the door behind you, you manage to hear an "Oh dear."

You begin cooking like you've never cooked before because, well, you've never really cooked before today. You decide to go by Momoko's residual memories in order to guide yourself. Some scrambled eggs seem simple enough. You grab an egg and try opening it without improperly breaking the shell. It takes a few tries to get it right and some removing the pieces of broken eggshell from the unscrambled eggs. You take out a pan and begin your work. Though you can't avoid feeling weird going by memories that aren't yours. You take it slow and make them some food.

About half an hour later both Momoko and Aomi come into the living room. You hope they both feel good enough to keep their food down as you finish reheating the dishes full of scrambled eggs and put them on the table. They both sit down in a less than womanly way and lean on the table, looking at the food on it.

"I'm sorry sister, but I really hope it's good because I don't think I'lll be able to keep it down otherwise."

She take a forkful of eggs and sticks it in her mouth, "That's surprisingly decent." She says before she begins eating at an ever increasing speed.

Momoko follow suit and you feel proud of yourself that you managed to make an edible meal. Though you don't really feel that good thinking that at least you didn't fuck up.
