This quest is fucking retarded. I read through the first two on suptg, and it's just fucking awful. If you're browsing /tg/ and see it, and curiosity strikes, then just keep on scrolling past, because this isn't worth anyone's time.

You bend down and pull the device off of Raditz's face. He glares at you, but is hardly in a position to do anything about it. His attention quickly goes back to Piccolo as you fiddle with the device.

"How in the hell can they bring him back? Tell me!" Raditz demands.

"Fine, on Earth we have what we call "Dragon Balls". When all seven are gathered, they can grant any wish," Piccolo explains. "That includes bringing the dead back to life. So you see, Goku is the one who will have the last laugh."

"You're wrong about that," Raditz tells him.

"What are you talking about?" Piccolo demands.

"The device the boy just took from me works as a transmitter," Raditz explains. "My comrades heard every word. Now they'll come, I know they will."

"H-how long?" Goku asks. "How long until they come?"

"I'd say you have about a year," Raditz tells him. "I hope you enjoy it. Because when they come, there will be nothing you can do to stop them. They are....far more powerful than I. And they will tear you all apart. I just hope I'm back in time to see it...."

Raditz begins to laugh, growing louder and louder until Piccolo silences him for good.

With Raditz dead, you turn your attention to Goku, who lies not far from his brother, a massive hole in his chest.

Gohan stands beside him, crying loudly.

"G-Gohan, I need you to listen to me," Goku says. "Daddy's going away for a little while. But I'll be back, I promise."

He weakly raises a hand and ruffles his son's hair. "Take care of your mother for me, alright?"

Goku looks at you as you approach. "You did well today, Kaguya. I'm glad I got to fight beside you..."

A large, yellow vehicle flies overhead and lands only a few yards from where you and Gohan stand over Goku. From the vehicle emerges a short bald man in an outfit like Goku's, a blue-haired woman in a labcoat, and an old man with a walking stick.

"Goku, no!" the bald man yells, running to Goku's side.

"H-hey Krillin," Goku greets. "Glad you could make it."

"Listen Goku, don't you worry. We'll get you to Korin, and get some senzu beans to fix you right up, okay?" Krillin says.

"Not this time, friend," Goku says gently. "Krillin, listen. Look after Gohan for me, alright?"

"Sure thing, Goku," Krillin replies. "But it's not going to come to that! You're going to make it!"

"Krillin..." the old man says sternly.

His eyes close, and his breathing stops.

"D-daddy!" Gohan screams, tears streaming down his face.

Everyone bows their heads for about three seconds before gasping in surprise as Goku's body fades away.

"W-where did he go?" Krillin asks nobody in particular.

Piccolo chuckles. "Kami."

"All things considered, I think it should be you, Krillin," the woman tells him.

"You and Goku have been best friends since you were children," the old man tells him.

"Right. Well Piccolo, I guess we'll be-" Krillin begins before his eyes go wide and a terrified expression pops up on his face.

Looking over at Piccolo, you see his teeth are clenched, his armless shoulder stuck out to the side. He yells loudly through his clenched teeth, and a new arm grows from his shoulder.

"Dead serious," Piccolo tells her. "We have one year until they arrive. I plan to train so that I'm ready for them."

He looks at Gohan, who is still crying over the spot where his father vanished.

"And I'm taking Goku's kid," he finishes.

"What? Why?" Krillin demands.

"The boy displayed an incredible power, even greater than mine or Goku's," Piccolo explains. "I plan to teach him to control that power."

"Yeah right! You just want to take him so you can eat him, or something!" Krillin yells.

"I do not!" Piccolo snaps. "Listen, if we aren't prepared when the Saiyans arrive, we are all dead, along with this entire planet! Nothing else matters. At any rate, I'm not asking permission."

He points a single finger at Gohan and flicks it upward. Gohan's crying grows louder as he is lifted off the ground and floats into Piccolo's grasp.

"Don't worry, you can tell Goku he'll see his son again in a year," Piccolo tells them as he holds the flailing, crying child.

Your father approaches the edge of the crater and looks down. Out of curiosity, you do the same.

The blast Raditz threw into the crater didn't leave much, but a few scraps of metal and glass are still there. Most sensible people wouldn't immediately jump to the conclusion of "aliens" at seeing it, but with your story, and the strange corpse, your dad finally believes you.

"Okay...so you, Goku, and King Piccolo killed this alien," your father sums up. "Why did you bring Krillin home with you, though? So he would help you get out of punishment for not doing your chores?"

Turning around, you see a man who vaguely resembles Piccolo. He has the same green skin and pointy ears, but appears much older. His clothing is also different, seeming to be robes as opposed to a cloak and turban, and he carries a walking stick.

Kami smiles kindly. "Well then, gather your friends and I'll send one of mine to pick you all up."

"S-sure, we'll do that," Krillin promises.

Kami nods, and vanishes in a flash of light.

"Well, I guess that means we' better get going," Krillin tells you. He then laughs excitedly. "Haha! Training with Kami! This is great!"

Krillin runs over to you and grabs you by the shoulders. "Come on! Let's see if Bulma found out where they are!"

He flies into the sky, carrying you with him. After a few minutes you come to the ocean, but he keeps flying. Soon, you see a small speck in the distance. It quickly gets larger, and you see that it is actually an island with a single house on it. The words "Kame House" are written on front of it.

Krillin sets you down right outside the house before landing next to you and rushing inside.

It wasn't a question about the shadow dragons. It was a question of what canon was the one we were using, because even using the anime screenshots, all that means at the moment would be that Bulma's hair is purple not green if we went manga. But yeah, it was more a question of what we might see in the future. Because, the anime canon has stuff like Super Saiyan Gods, Garlic/Garlic Junior, a different version of Bardock than the manga, etc.

Not seeing any reason to look around the island, you follow Krillin inside the house.

It's mostly one room on the ground floor, with a sofa and television taking up most of the space. A kitchen is in the back, but everyone, along with a turtle, is gathered by the window, where the blue haired woman stands, the device on her face.

"So Bulma, did you get that thing working?" Krillin asks.

"I think so!" she answers. "It reads people's energies and tells you what the level of energy is."

"Really? What's mine?" Krillin asks, standing in front of Bulma.

Bulma presses a button on the device, and numbers flash across its screen.

"It looks like you have a power level of 206," she says.

"What about me? Master Roshi asks.

Bulma presses the button again.

"It says you have a power level of 132," she tells him.

She presses the buttons on the device for a few seconds, and waits as it searches for high power levels.

"Okay...four high power levels," she tells everyone. "One of them is in the direction Piccolo went. "Two are far North, and one is around East City."

"The one in East City is probably Yamcha," Krillin says, and you notice Bulma immediately looking furious at the mention of that name.

"And the ones to the North must be Tien and Chiaotzu," Bulma says. "It shouldn't take long to reach them. I'll go round them up. Krillin, you go tell Chi Chi what happened to Goku."

Bulma strolls outside a few seconds later and throws a small object at the ground. There is a loud bang and a cloud of smoke, and then the yellow vehicle you saw before sits on the beach.

Bulma gets in, ready to drive, and you take the passenger seat. After making sure you're buckled in, Bulma takes off.

"Why are you angry at this Yamcha person?" you ask Bulma as she flies.

She grips the controls tighter and scowls. "Because he's a huge jerk! That's why!"

She offers no further elaboration, and you get the feeling that asking her anything more would be a bad idea.

The vehicle moves fast, and it doesn't take long for you to reach East City. Having never actually been to a city before, the massive buildings and many lights are fascinating, and a bit overwhelming to you. Bulma directs the vehicle towards a large building surrounded by signs that read "Titans". She flies directly over it several times, and, looking down, you see a large group of people in seats cheering for people playing baseball.

Bulma then lands the vehicle next to the building and waits.

It's not long before a baseball player with long black hair and a scar on his face emerges, a surprised look on his face.

"Bulma?" he asks. "What are you doing here?"

"It's not a social call, Yamcha," she begins. "Long story short, Goku's dead and we have a year before two really powerful fighters show up to destroy the world."

Yamcha takes a seat in the grass, taking a few moments to process what he's heard.

"Goku's...really dead?" he asks softly, looking at Bulma.

When she answers, her tone is much softer. "Yes. That's why we need everybody to train to fight what's coming."

"Who are these fighters? And what happened to Goku?" he asks.

"His name is Kaguya," Bulma tells him.

"Isn't that a girl's na-" Yamcha begins before Bulma cuts him off.

"Goku and his son came to visit Master Roshi's Island. Some guy showed up and said he was from space, and that he was Goku's brother," she explains.

"That's ridiculous, that would make Goku an alien," Yamcha tells her.

"Well, Master Roshi told us a story about Goku's grandpa finding him in a spaceship in the woods," Bulma tells him. "Anyway, Goku's brother told Goku to join him in taking over planets, Goku said no, and the guy kidnapped Goku's son. Goku died beating him."

Yamcha looks down at the ground. "Goku..."

"We only have a year until two more of the aliens show up, so everyone is gathering to train," she finishes.

"Count me in!" Yamcha says, standing up. "But wait, what's the kid doing here?"

"He's going to help you guys fight," Bulma tells him.

"What? Seriously?" Yamcha asks. "He's what, five years old?"

"He helped Goku and Piccolo beat the first alien," Bulma tells him. "He's strong."

"Well alright then, where are we meeting?" Yamcha asks.

"Kame House," Bulma answers, getting back in the vehicle and motioning for you to do the same. "You go there while Kaguya and I get the others."

Yamcha nods. "Alright."

"Yamcha? Where the hell are you?" a gruff voice yells from the building.

"...after this game is over," Yamcha says before running back inside.

You get back in the vehicle and take off. This flight takes a bit longer, but still not too long. You find yourself in a more familiar setting; wilderness. You fly over forests and hills, fields and lakes, until you find a small house next to a waterfall. Two figures rush from the waterfall to the house as the vehicle approaches.

Another person emerges from the house as you get closer. And you soon see that she's a blonde woman holding something very large that she points at the vehicle.

A rocket shoots from it, and Bulma screams as she swerves to avoid it.

"What is SHE doing out here?!" Bulma demands angrily as she pulls the vehicle back, landing in a nearby field.

As the two of you step out, two people; a bald, muscular man with three eyes, and a tiny floating person with a silly hat and strange makeup approach you.

"Bulma? What are you doing way out here?" the three-eyed man asks.

"Yeah, what are you doing out here?" a woman's voice asks behind the two.

The blonde woman who shot at you walks around them, rocket launcher on her shoulders.

"I hope you have a good reason."
