You tell Krillin everything that's happened.

As you tell the story, Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha (who you are relieved to see has completely recovered), and even Yajirobe gather around to listen. Everyone except Tien (who generally seems to keep a calm exterior) and Yajirobe (who just doesn't care very much) looks more and more excited as you explain.

"That's incredible!" Krillin shouts, grinning like a madman. "With someone like you helping us, the Saiyans won't have a chance!"

"Yeah! And maybe working with you will help remove our limits," Yamcha suggests.

"Alright guys, only one thing to do," Krillin announces. "Let's get back to training."

As everyone goes to train, you walk up to Yamcha, who stops in his tracks and turns towards you.

"Could you teach me that attack you used?" you ask him.

He blinks. "You mean my Wolf Fang Fist? Sure, I'll teach you."

As Krillin spars with Yajirobe, and Tien trains with Chiaotzu, you and Yamcha go to a spot a little out of the way. Yamcha drops into a horse stance and looks over at you.

"The Wolf Fang Fist is actually pretty simple," he tells you. "What I usually do is envision a wolf, then do the actual technique. What you do is rush at your opponent, and attack with a rapid succession of punches and clawing attacks, then end it with a double palm strike. The attacks are powered by your energy. All you have to do is focus it into your hands."

He switches to a guarding stance, looking at you. "Now, go ahead and try it on me"

You prepare to attack, thinking of what Yamcha told you to do.

Dropping into an attack stance, you mimic what Yamcha did during your battle. You lower your right hand in front of yourself and raise your left hand above yourself. Then, you do as Yamcha does, imagining a wolf. You begin channeling your energy into your hands, and are surprised by how quickly your energy responds.

You charge, and Yamcha prepares to defend.

You can almost hear the howl of the wolf as you reach Yamcha, attacking with a flurry of rapid punches and claw attacks. You find that your strikes have more strength and speed than they would normally, and Yamcha only manages to block a few before your strikes begin landing, knocking Yamcha around until you finish the attack with a double-palmed strike to the chest that knocks him on his rear.

He grins, laughing as he gets to his feet. "That's it! You've got it!"

He dusts himself off, wincing a bit as he walks towards you. "The Wolf Fang Fist is useful because it gives your attacks a boost in strength in speed. And, the best part is, it doesn't use up any energy. Well, no more than punching and clawing would normally. But, it takes a few seconds to get ready, so be careful when you use it."

The two of you make your way back over to the others, where Krillin and Yajirobe are still "sparring" . Or, Krillin is attacking, and Yajirobe is just sort of blocking and dodging, not seeming to really be paying attention. Tien has long since beaten Chiaotzu, which isn't a surprise; while strong, Chiaotzu seems to be easily the weakest member of the group. Yajirobe finally ends his match by kicking Krillin in the chin, knocking his opponent on his back and walking away.

Not wanting to stand idly by, however, you prepare to unleash your Wolf Fang Fist. Lowering your right hand and raising your left, you picture a wolf and channel energy to your fists as you prepare.

Tien watches you, and several seconds pass with nothing happening between the two of you staring. As soon as Tien realizes you aren't planning to immediately charge at him, he raises his right hand and points a single finger at you.

As you prepare to attack, you notice a yellow glow beginning to surround Tien's finger.

"Tien, what are you doing?!" Krillin demands, sounding afraid.

You decide that you need to strike before Tien has a chance to, throwing a basic energy blast in his direction.

Immediately afterwards, you charge towards Tien, planning to use your Wolf Fang Fist as soon as the blast hits. Wanting to try something to make the Wolf Fang Fist even more devastating, you channel more energy to your hands, so much so that they actually begin to glow with energy.

Tien doesn't even bat an eye as your energy attack comes his way, or when you begin your charge. However, he shouts two words.

"Dodon Ray!"

A thin beam of light shoots from his finger, cutting through your energy blast and striking you in your right arm. Pain shoots through the limb, and, already lowered, it falls limply to your side.

Tien keeps his finger pointing at you, but moves his hand so that it's aimed at your right leg.

Tien stares at you, raising his hand and pointing at you again. "Not until he gives up."

Slowly, and with a great deal of effort, you manage to stand.

Putting any amount of weight on your right leg causes you incredible agony, and your right arm still hands uselessly by your side. It take a few seconds for you to catch your breath, during which Tien watches you, ready to attack again. Krillin, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu look on in horror. Even Yajirobe looks uncomfortable with what's going on.

"I'm not giving up!" you promise Tien, who answers with a nod of respect.

Slowly, you raise your left hand and point at Tien, who in turn continues pointing at you. You take aim, and shout.

"Dodon Ray!"

A thin beam of light shoots from your finger at Tien, who's eyes widen in surprise. He puts his left foot back and turns his body, causing your blast to just narrowly miss him, and cut through one of Kami's trees.

Tien, turns back to you, his expression still one of shock. The others wear similar looks, everyone staring at you.

Tien regains his composure, and smiles at you. "Alright, we're done here."

"Tien, what the hell was that about?!" Yamcha demands, recovering from his own shock.

Chiaotzu floats over to Tien. "Yeah, you really hurt him!"

"Like I said, these Saiyans aren't going to care that Kaguya is a kid," Tien answers. "They'll tear him apart if they can. So, Kaguya has to learn to take a hit, and to not give up, no matter how hopeless the battle might seem."

He slowly approaches you, holding out his left hand, offering a handshake to the hand you can still use.

"Kaguya could have just given up, but he didn't. He got back up and kept fighting through the pain," Tien continues. "I respect that quality in anyone, and it's especially impressive in someone so young."

He speaks directly to you, now. "And I look forward to fighting by your side."

Kamehameha scales better though. You can pump an effectively infinite amount of energy into it with no loss of efficiency. The Dondon Ray doesn't seem to scale quite as well. The Tri Beam Canon is even more efficient but drains your energy much more quickly and can't be used for a sustained burst. Still lets you cockblock Semi Perfect Cell while being weaker than Freeza.

I think the problem here is that you've started seeing things like energy blast as mundane in a point in time where that's not the case.

Adding stale fire onto a item is weird junk that's definitely unique.
Adding stable Ki energy onto a fighting technique only makes it unique if ki energy is uncommon.
