"The Lolizone isn't exactly a place as much as it's an idea. It exists alongside but separate from the laws of reality. Instead everything about it operates on fanciful whims. To find it you need... Well, exactly what you have here! Young girls overloaded with fanciful whims. Which is why it's so surprising you weren't looking for it!" Lisa, your newest enemy-turned-friend, still seems incredulous about your insistence that you were in fact not trying to cross into whatever this place is.

"So you're saying that you did come here intentionally?" You ask her, your head still spinning slightly from her explanation. "Of course I did! This place is amazing, it literally has everything you could ever want! Well, everything they could want. But then it's just a matter of finding ones who want the same."

Beside you, Nadine seems completely unfazed by the revelation. Lisa notices this as well, bending down to address the girl directly. "And what YOU want right now... Is to arrive at your destination, am I right? Nadine gives an affirming uh-uh, and Lisa turns back to you, pointing to the stalking island outside, apparently known as Christmas Tree Island, which blocks the exit from this 'Lolizone'. "So there you have it. You want to get to your destination, you just have to pass the island! And to do that-" A loud yawn beside you interrupts Lisa mid-sentence. "Perhaps that should wait until tomorrow?"

You are the Loli Talker, aka Nee-chan, a specialist dealing in bringing unreasonable lolis to reason. Currently you are on a very peculiar job, having been hired for unclear reasons by some eccentric fat cat with more money than he knows what to do with to guide a ship across the Pacific from the United States to Japan aided only by a tiny crew of equally small girls. Most recently you saved one of your girls, May, from drowning herself to save a plushy and were chased by an island that apparently prevents you from leaving a place you didn't know you were even in.

Darkness is indeed settling all around you as the sun finishes its descent on the horizon. May is already out of commission thanks to her stunt earlier and you're not sure how much longer the other girls will last. Still, you could try to push on if you wanted. If you do decide to rest, it may be an idea to leave somebody on watch. Partially you don't trust moving islands very much and partially you know that Lisa left a crew of semi-trained little girls out there who are probably eager to rob and plunder just for kicks.

>Disregard the need for sleep, the sooner you finish the journey the better. Ask about how to get past the island?

You cast a glance to your trusty navigator to estimate the status of your crew. Head drooping slightly, eyes flickering and mouth wide agape in a poorly concealed yawn. Noticing your attention, she springs into a salute, as eager to impress as always. "Captain, don't worry about that! We'll keep going as long as you want!" You've no doubt she means it, but by now you know perfectly well that Nadine speaks for nobody but herself. While she craves nothing more than your approval, or the approval of any authority you suspect, her crew mates are unlikely to share that sentiment.

You raise your voice, trying to sound as much like the authority that she wants you to be. "Nadine, go get everyone ready for bed." She hesitates. "But Captain, I c-" You quickly cut her off, raising your voice further. "That's an order." The smile on her face grows ever wider as she gives you another salute before cheerfully running off to complete the mission you've bestowed her.

You're left alone with Lisa patiently waiting for your orders. "The girls will need all the sleep they can get, so we'll be on watch in case something happens. I'll take first watch so you can get some sleep." She throws you a quick nod and stands to leave. "But first, do me a favour and hold the deck while I get get myself dried off." She looks you up and down with a smile. "Probably a good idea."

Below decks, you find the girls already settled into their respective beds. Camilla and Nadine on the right, May and Nina on the lef- wait Nina isn't in her bed. Another quick look around and you notice there being a little more girl under May's blanket than May should rightly account for. Lifting the blanket slightly you the still sleeping form of May and your not-so-sleeping sister huddled against her with her smile beaming at you.

>Ask her what she's doing in May's bed?

You raise a questioning eye brow at her, and chirps a cheerful response. "Lisa-chan said to keep her warm!" You're not completely sure that's what Lisa meant, but you're pretty sure you don't care right now. With a shrug and a sigh you pull the blanket back over her head and leave the girls to their business while you dig out some towels and a spare change of clothes from your things. A few minutes in the bathroom later and you're ready to head back above deck.

Upon your arrival, Lisa departs quickly with only a mumbled "night." Guess she was actually getting tired too. For your part, you've nothing to do but settle in for a long night and wait. The island just outside is still just visible in the darkness, a fact that serves to unnerve you slightly. Your instincts still aren't fond of moving islands, but at least that might help you stay awake.

Nights at sea are pretty quiet. There are no passing cars, no people, not even any birds around this stupid island. No wonder, considering its habit of moving around. Really, the only sounds to keep you company for the night are the waves crashing gently against the ship and the island below. And that bores you out of your mind. Restlessness taking hold, you soon find yourself doing unnecessary rounds of the deck for no reason other than to take the edge off the boredom.

With your eyes constantly finding their way to your watch you know that it had been exactly one hour and 37 minutes when the silence is disturbed by a loud thump coming from downstairs. You haven't noticed anything else, so it might just be one of the girls having trouble sleeping. That's probably all it is. Still, you really are bored and something finally happened.

You quickly kill your flashlight and climb down below deck as quietly as you can. Which happens to be very quiet. Which is good, since if something is happening you'd rather not alert the 'something'. Creeping up against the corner of the door to the kitchen area you take a moment to let your eyes adjust to the dark as much as they can. Hearing a slight shuffling on the other side, you peek around the corner for a look.

You can't see far, but you see all you need. The door to the store room is wide open and you see a small figure moving about on the other side. Someone is going for the chocolate!

>Use the dark to try to sneak up on them and catch them?
>Turn on your flashlight and shine it on them to reveal the thief?

Whoever is in there had been careful. The lights in the bunkroom are all out and you hear nobody stirring behind the closed door. Their only mistake was the heavy door to the storeroom, its lock refusing to be opened quietly. You slip around the corner and into the kitchen. The storeroom and the thief are only a few steps from your position, prompting you to slow your pace further and take each step with the utmost care.

One step, and you hear a muffled 'ritsch' of a wrapper being opened as noiselessly as possible. A fair attempt, but if anyone ever managed to open a plastic wrapping without making noise you have not be informed of the feat.

Your second step is accompanied by a weakly suppressed moan of joy from the thief, apparently savouring their stolen treat.

On the third step, so close now, you spot the silhouette snapping their head to face your direction. You freeze on the spot, not sure if you've been spotted or not. The figure stares towards you for a several long moments, unmoving. Finally, the figure scrambles out of the room, one hand still occupied with the remains of the chocolate treat while the other struggles to close the door as quietly as they can.

Knowing an opening when you see it, you quicken your pace and in two short steps you have fully closed the distance. You bring your right hand to the face of the figure, holding their mouth to prevent them making any more noise while your left arm wraps around their torso to hold both arms. The girl jumps on the spot, attempting and failing to let a startled scream past your mouth. She tries to run, but even your thin arms are stronger than she is.

As she finally realizes the pointless of trying to fight you, the girl finally goes quiet and you let go of her to spin her around to face you before turning on your flashlight to reveal her identity. A trembling Nadine stands before you with her head lowered in shame and traces of chocolate clearly visible around her mouth. She says nothing as you look her over, spotting another chocolate coin sticking out of her left pocket in addition to the one in her hand.

>Scold her right now and confiscate the key and chocolate, you expected better from her?
>Forgive her, confiscate just the chocolate and tell her you'll pretend nothing happened if she goes quietly to bed right away?

Sighing, you use your right hand to swipe the chocolate from her pocket as well as the half eaten choclate she's still holding, then reach out your left hand with a simple demand. "Key." Her trembling intensifies and she sniffles slightly before complying, tears in her eyes glinting in the shine from your flashlight. You issue your next order, the same stern voice you had practiced on her earlier. "Go to bed, quiet. We'll talk in the morning."

Nadine gulps audibly, and as you turn around to head back above deck you feel her hands grasp your right arm. You look down to see her despaired expression as she speaks between sobs. "I'm so sorry, Captain." Feeling a tingle of pity, you try to give her a warm smile to calm the fears her little head is probably hard at work blowing out of proportions before resuming your walk back above deck. "I know."

The remainder of your watch passes without any incidents, and when you wake Lisa a few hours later for her to take over your watch, noting in passing that May's bed still appears to have two occupants snoring softly in it, you slip into sleep's embrace almost instantly.

In the morning you are apparently the last to rise not counting May who is still fast asleep, now apparently alone. It seems nobody wanted to wake you. Finding the kitchen cleared out you settle for a simple breakfast of a slice of hard bread to bring with you as you set about your business for the morning. That business being...

You told Nadine you'd talk in the morning, so that's what you'll do first. Above deck, you find Lisa and Nina leaned against the railing chatting away about something or other. Whatever it is, it keeps the occupied enough that they do not even notice you and the conversation topic apparently earns a hard laughter from Lisa. While the sun is still not high in the sky, 9 in the morning according to your clock, you have missed the sunrise. A particularly nostalgic part of you would have loved to see what one of those looks like at sea, but there's nothing you can do about that now.

You find Nadine in the spot you'd expect her to be. As the ship is not moving at all she has instead decided to occupy herself with looking over the various maps piled around the table. Upon your entering you close the door behind you and she looks up with a nervous gulp.

>Go easy on her, let her know that you forgive her if she promises never to do it again?

You decide to say nothing, opting to simply give her a hard stare instead. Immediately the girl begins to quake under the pressure. "C-captain? You wanted to talk?" You nod, but still you say nothing and continue the stare. She looks puzzled for a while, unclear of your intentions until finally she gets the idea. "Oh! You want me to..."

She takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "I'm so sorry, Captain. It's just, well, chocolate is REALLY good! I wanted it so bad! And I had the key and everybody was asleep, so I tho-" You cut her off before she can finish the sentence. "You thought you wouldn't get caught. Is that it?"

Staring at her feet, she nods weakly. "Please forgive me, Captain. I'm really sorry." You do not let up just yet, keeping a stern face as slowly walk closer to her. "It's May's turn to hold the key. I'll keep it until she's ready to take it, and when it's your turn again I'll decide if you've earned it back."

Your words seem to hit her hard, the loss of responsibility and trust apparently a mortifying prospect in her eyes. Letting go of the authorative face that you're already starting to hate you pull her up from her chair and hold her close to whisper her in her ear. "I do forgive you, but you need to show me you deserve it, okay?" You place the distressed girl back in her chair, her expression slightly relieved though the disappointment in herself is clear for all to see.

A knock on the door behind you, and Lisa barges in shortly after with both Nina and Camilla following her. You quickly bite down the rest of your meager meal as they settle around the table, eyes focused on Lisa who turns to you. "You ready, then?"

And sadly, I'll have to end the thread here. I REALLY wanted to finish the episode today, but I've been helping out with moving all day and will have to do so again in the morning. I wanted to start this thread several hours earlier than I did, but the universe did not wish it, so here we are. To say I am exhausted would be an understatement.

I'll just have to make the best of it, I suppose. I will try to let you guys know about tomorrow as soon I know anything myself. If not tomorrow, I'm pretty sure Sunday should be free unless something goes horribly wrong. Mostly anyway. Twitter account is still in OP!

Oh, and about "Episode 4". Episode 3 is still my planned end of the story, but I am considering certain ways to maybe make a little more of this concept in a different way once that's over. I think it might be fun. I will tell you more when we get there, see if you guys like the idea.
