Today is September 15th, UC 0084. You are Dominic O'Hara: a Commander in the Titans anti-terror organization, squadron leader of the “Grim Guard”, and Executive Officer of the Valkyrie, both of which now operate out of the converted Helium carrier Nagato.

Things are rapidly getting out of hand.

The black and blue machines of the Titans assault teams are now fighting each other all around the area of Libot after the revelation that the gas shells being used against the colony were filled not with sleeping gas, as some of them seem to have been told, but with the lethal G2 nerve agent. Aboard the ships of the fleet that brought them here, you can tell there are also hand to hand fights breaking out between those still dedicated to the mission and to Titans and those who are now willing to stop them at all costs.

The problem for you now is that it's damned hard to tell who's fighting on which side. Their machines all look the same from here, and they're all agitated so using your Newtype senses isn't helping in the slightest to pick them apart.

>Pull your mobile suits back to the ships, hold off at a distance until this all boils over

"To those defecting from Titans, form up on the Nagato - form up or you'll get torn to shreds!"

Broadcast a general message on all frequencies. If you're with us, form up on the gargantuan Zeon ship shitting blue plasma. If they're not with us, then they'll shoot at us anyway. Get some order to this furball of a melee. If we don't then they'll tear each other apart.
>>
>>36185279
I'm going to go with, "Shoot the people shooting at Adel," since we can be reasonably confident he's no longer on the titans side, until we figure out who's on who's side.

Open comms with 086 and get them to reposition with us at the colony. We can then open comms with each ship to determine which ones have chosen a side and which are still fighting...

Most important thing is to make sure nothing else gets through. Also, can we get a sit rep on Libot? What's the death count?
>>
>>36185507
Unknown. At least in the thousands.
>>
Could also broadcast
"As of now, all Titan loyalists are declared enemy's of (earth faction?) for attempted genocide and war crimes against humanity" etc?
Or would we get into some major do do for that?

Are they really the Immortal 4th anymore? Half of them are dead. Though what did they expect, being a group of four in a Japanese franchise? That's practically guaranteed to get you killed.

You key your comm system over to an open channel. "Grim Guard First and Second teams, regroup at rally point Victor. That goes for you too, Unit Two." The Sisters send a brief signal to confirm your orders, but don't say anything in response. You see their machine appear on your display again as they jet away from the colony, having expended their bridlime in an attempt to speed the repairs to the side of the colony walls.

"Haman," you continue, "mark Adel's Gaplant on our HUD."

"Got it" she quickly replies. "Miyu, can you confirm the marker on that Gaplant for me?"

"Confirmed," Miyu replies. "We see it nice and clear."

You nod to yourself. "Good. Request that you engage any machine that isn't one of ours that engages that Gaplant. Captain, please acknowledge request for fire support."

"Request acknowledged," Karen replies stoically. "We're keeping an eye on those Titans warships, too."

"You feeling what I'm feeling?" Audrey asks from the Iris' cockpit.

You swallow hard. "Yeah, it must be getting messy over there. Both sides are getting desperate."

"Great," Emma mutters as she pulls her team back. "Just what we needed."

"I'm moving our funnels towards the Tel Aviv," Haman announces, mentally directing her remote weapons towards the damaged Alexandria-class cruiser. "Karen, can you get the triplets to move their own funnels to cover the other ships?"

"Will do!" you hear a cheerful reply, probably from Diana.

Docking with the Valkyrie goes smoothly enough once the various teams belonging to your unit arrive. Catharine and Reiko guide you in almost like they've been doing this for years already. Now of course, comes the question of what to do with the ship itself. For now Defrah is in command, so you could stay in your Gundam while it's being readied to return to combat again, or you could take command of the Valkyrie yourself.

This is going to get messy, trust in our team, we may be needed to help recover runners or to hunt down suicide attackers.

Do we have any spare EFSF uniforms?
>>
>>36185911
Defrah and Karen are big girls. Let them handle the ship-to-ship combat maneuvers while we yank our control throttles.

Do have them issue a general rally point on the Nagato for the loyalist Earth Federation forces. If we let them sit in that melee for too long they'll eventually start shooting each other. Loyalist and Titans alike.

Right now we're of better use being ready to enter that melee if needed. Defrah is plenty skilled enough to handle the ship. And our big damned heroism will be more effective if we're a presence on the battlefield.

"Defrah, you have control," you announce. "I'm staying down here in case we're needed out there again."

"Understood, Commander," she replies, surprised that you're letting her take the reigns. "I'll just treat it like a big mobile armor, I guess."

"ALICE? Any intel on civilian casualties?" you inquire, hoping for the best.

The AI's news isn't heartening. "Negative, however I have performed some calculations based on readiness, response times, and population distribution within the Libot colony."

"And?" Carrina presses.

There's a momentary pause. "My estimates vary from ten to twenty thousand killed, with up to one hundred thousand affected to some degree."

"Damn," Carrina mutters to nobody in particular. "I guess even if I can see the future, I can't stop it from happening anyway."

Haman crosses her arms in front of you. "Don't blame yourself," she insists. "We did what we could, as we always do. It just happened that this time we couldn't save them all."

Rossweisse is quick to agree. "It would have been three million," she points out.

"I know that," Carrina replies softly. "Doesn't mean I can accept it."

>>
>>36186405
Over the next fifteen minutes or so, the situation stabilizes. Only four Titans machines remain, including Adel's and what turns out to be Keith's.

The Pegasus-class carrier self-destructs, leaving only a few escape pods filled with survivors from Slave Wraith. Karen orders them brought aboard the Nagato and placed into confinement until the natures of the crimes that got them into the penal unit can be ascertained.

The Alexandria class cruiser Tel Aviv is a mess, but is still operational. A skeleton crew is currently operating her under the leadership of an officer named Gunnar, the last survivors of an intense series of shipboard firefights. The wounded from that conflict were transferred to the Nagato, since the Tel Aviv's doctor was accidentally killed in the crossfire. Right now Gunnar has his remaining crew scrambling to fix the engines you damaged.

The two Salamis class ships that accompanied the fleet, the Anzio and the Belleau Wood, are a different matter. The former was commanded by a Titans loyalist while the latter was commandeered by its Executive Officer, and they engaged in a close-range duel that led to severe casualties. Your own teams' remote weapons proved pivotal in disarming the Anzio and ending the battle before both ships were destroyed.

The crew of the defeated Anzio abandoned ship after her captain committed suicide in defeat, and were picked up by the Belleau Wood. All of the survivors are too shellshocked to even bother figuring out who was on what side, and those whose wits are still about them are too busy dealing with the wounded to care.

"Fucked if I know what to do now," Karen admits to you over the Lilium's monitor. "It all looks so bad from here. We'll deal with whatever you decide not to, Dom."

Keep Emma's team and the Nagato on overwatch in case anything starts up again, but it probably won't. Right now we need to secure the evidence, provide what aid we can, and do damage control. I don't want what happened here to repeat all over the Earth Sphere. At least, not so quickly. I'm sure we'll still wind up with the Gryps Conflict.

And also to prevent any tampering of evidence or cover-ups. I can actually see the Riah governing body downplaying the damages and casualties to mask the inept handling of this crisis.

"Doesn't matter what we do or whose side they're on. We're people first. We don't abandon our own."

"Karen, organize the surviving soldiers and fleet personal into rescue units amongst our own rescue operations. Get them doing *something* and helping their own. Have Lucette or the Doktor look at the damaged vessels and see what's salvageable and what we'll haft to scuttle."

"Defrah, we're going colony gazing. Take us in so we can ascertain the damage and prevent the government from going even more stupid by attacking now. If we can get the local MPs to secure any G2 gas shells before they can be tampered with, all the better."

"ALICE, now is your time to shine. You remember those countermeasure you were developing for that satellite network? Get on that. I'd like to have a word with Bask Om."
>>
>>36186707

We should personally attend to the Colony along with whichever pilots are willing to see the result of a G2 Gas attack...

The Valkyrie should provide overwatch to the Nagato as Karen oversees the processing of all remaining personnel while the damage reports for each of the remaining ships is compiled.

If we are lucky, this could be the start of our fleet, alternatively, the ships can be decommissioned and stripped for parts to repair whichever ship is in the best condition...

>>
>>36186876
This a good one.
>>
>>36186707
>Assist the stricken Titans ships (how?)
Get a sitrep on the ships. We can establish communications now, so get in touch with them and have them organize the survivors. The Valkyrie can evacuate the people from the ships if the damage is too severe - get the wounded and dying aboard first. The Valkyre medical wing should get ready too.

If the ships aren't in a critical condition (or we don't expect sabotage), have them towed towards the Nagato by the Valkyrie. The Purus can protect the Valkyrie from anything suspicious while the Second team goes after the escape pods.

The First team should refuel and rearm, just in case. Get some lime launchers and go assist the colony (if we're within traveling distance). Get in touch with the colonists, especially the Defense Force. If they have any lime launchers and MS, they should deploy as well.

We need to keep the colonists as far away from the contamination zone as possible, so they should issue a warning to stay away - maybe under the pretense of a hole in the colony?
>>
>>36186876
Salvaging any surviving Alexandrias should be top priority frankly.
>>
>>36186707

Why not just say the truth? I think "this area is full of poison gas" is just as much a disincentive to go near as a hull breach. It's not like we're trying to hide this, we want everyone to know what the Titans did. And while I suppose there's an element of panic prevention, having them think the colony is leaking would cause just as much worry.
>>
>>36187074
Because we're still in Titan colors.

If they think it's a colony breach, they'd be less likely to stone us the moment they see us.

>>
>>36187144
Pretty sure our MS are in Titan colors as well. Or have the emblem somewhere on them. Same with the ships.
>>
>>36187242
We're in classic Gundam white and blue, from what I recall. I don't know if we have the emblem anywhere. We won't after today, certainly.
>>
>>36187242
We could pull a SYMBOLISM. Instead of cutting our hair like our old Chinese Cartoons did, we tear off our Titans suit patches and repaint our emblems live on-air.
>>
>>36186707
"Defrah, take us in towards the colony. Reiko, get us in touch with Libot's officials," you order.

Karen seems satisfied. "Figure out what exactly the colony needs, I'm having ALICE get in touch with the Republic to see if they can render assistance."

"Good thinking," you agree. "After all, it was Cima who tipped us off in the first place. They should be willing."

Haman shrugs. "I hate to admit it, but that she-devil did us some good this time."

"Catharine, patch through visuals to our displays," Carrina orders, and in a few seconds you see the outside of Libot approaching fast.

Reiko contacts your cockpit as you search for the assault team's entry point again. "I've got the authorities on the horn. You ready?"

You take a deep breath and release it. "Put them through, Reiko."

The image that greets you is of a room full of haggard-looking men seated around a table, in what looks like an air raid bunker. Scattered around them are various official-looking documents, phone lines that snake over and around the table, and old-fashioned emergency breathing systems.

"What the HELL is going on out there?" one of the men demands. "Why is Titans assaulting our colony?"

A second, older man regards you with obvious distaste. "Who are you, boy? What do you Titans want from us now? You've gassed our people, what more do you want?"

>Response? Are you even still with Titans anymore?
>>
>>36186707

If we want to pull a spin on this, claim how we got an anonymous tip that Voight would attack the colony in order to weaken the Federation. To do that, he stole several Titan suits, and sent them towards Riah to kill everyone.

But none of that doesn't change the fact that the Titans are rotten to the core, even with us inside trying to make them less terrible. After this, the anti-Earth sentiment will swell up just like it did in regular UC and this time there are a couple of interested parties that will attempt to capitalize on it. (The Republic, Voight, Mars, etc.) The best move is to break from the Titans and either distinguish them from the EFSF, or just say YOLO and declare the formation of the AEUG right here in front of Libot.`

'2' is for telling them you're still with Titans, and you're trying to remove the more extreme elements of the organization.

Nine properly formatted votes for splitting off from the Titans.

>>36187902

Three for staying in Titans.

That's fairly comprehensive, I think. Writing now.

>>36188006
It would be silly for them to try that. They know Dom doesn't subscribe to their philosophy, and has the resources to defy them if he wanted to. Ordering him out of the way will just get him to rebel anyway. They're more likely to just kill him if he goes back.
>>
>>36188122
That was in response to anon saying they'd let us anywhere near the non-indoctrinated.

The fact that Dom had came back after the gassing will immediately force them to get him as far away as possible or frag him.
>>
>>36188308
Oh, I agree that we shouldn't go back. I'm just quibbling about the details. Because this is the internet. It's what we do.

Dammit, missed the vote.
For what it's worth, I would have voted to stay in Titans.

Looking down at your flight suit, you carefully remove the Titans crest pinned to your collar before replying. "I'm Commander Dominic O'Hara, Earth Federation Space Forces. My unit acted on a tip that a Titans taskforce was ordered to use G2 nerve agent against your colony. We've stopped their assault with some help assistance from dissenters within the taskforce itself. We want to assist, but we need you to tell us what you need."

You get the impression that your teammates were expecting this response, and Haman rests her head briefly against your knee in a silent show of support.

"Why would Titans respond with such excessive force?" one of the more sensible officials asks thoughtfully. "And why did you decide to interfere with them? Your uniform IS Titans issue, and yet you insist you're with the EFSF."

You ponder the point for a moment. "Titans is a one-trick pony. They're very good at brute force, but that's the only response to a crisis they know."

"Against Zeon that's understandable. Against civilians it's criminal, and I can't follow a commander who would sanction such measures."

"Very well," the sensible man agrees, shooting a glare at his companions. "I'm sure we ALL appreciate your timely assistance. We will contact your flagship with updates from our emergency services teams once the gassed areas are safe to approach, but medical supplies and personnel will be first on our list of needs I'm afraid."

You nod. "We've got contacts in the Republic who should be willing to render assistance."

"Good. Now, what happened to our own defense teams?" the man presses. "Tell me, how did they fare?"

"Dead, sir," Carrina replies. "The ten Dom units were shredded by Titans' newest machines. All that survived was one civilian in a heavily modified Ball."

"A civilian responder?" the man muses. "Interesting. Please keep me apprised of the pilot's condition."
(1/2)
>>
>>36188441
After surveying the damage to the exterior of the colony, you find that the entrance point was at a secondary airlock: most of the damage control efforts were successful at preventing catastrophic depressurization, but had the side effect of ensuring the single shell's worth of gas wasn't sucked right back out into space.

The majority of the colony's civilians had been evacuated to shelters, but in all the death count rises to just under thirteen thousand before medical aid arrives from nearby colonies.

"So I see your Titans emblem is gone," Karen observes as you rejoin her on the bridge of the Nagato. "I've already made an announcement to the crew that our ship will be leaving Titans, and I offered to allow any dissenters to leave when we put into port next."

"Good," you mutter. "I assume you put our MPs on high alert as well?"

She nods. "Seemed like a good idea."

"I was thinking, Karen..."

"That's a dangerous precedent."

You cock an eyebrow at her as she smirks in your direction. "I was thinking we should get in touch with a few people, possibly secure some political support against Titans."

"Who were you thinking?" Karen asks.

Start at the top, work our way down. If the Assembly member has balls, even though he has the label of a moderate, we might be able to get to Kowen at some point too.

There was another EFSF admiral mentioned in name that showed competence during the crisis in Operation Stardust. Admiral Kirikov, if I'm not mistaken?

Worst comes to worst, there's the knowledge of The Box/UC Charter to pull string from the assembly PM himself. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth to use it that way though.

"Lieutenant Uraki?" Karen offers.

"Yeah, that guy. Colonel Ladry in the EFF might be nice to have on our side, and then there's Yazan Gable and Char Azbale. Still on the fence about those last two."

"And in terms of politicians?" Karen muses. "I don't know that we've met any that would be willing to help. They're mostly too invested in Titans' success against Zeon to get reelected."

"The Admiralty may be better connected," you suggest. "I'm not going after Kowen and Kirikov because they're fun at parties, Karen."

"I see," Cima replies after you tell her the outcome of your mission against Titans. "To think they used the same tricks that Zeon used against me and my men... deplorable."

Karen nods in agreement. "And we have evidence of the results of the attack. There'll be no denying this."

Cima frowns. "You say the Pegasus vessel destroyed itself?"

Audrey nods. "We think they were covering their involvement. Slave Wraith may have known their payload, while the other teams didn't."

"They no doubt plan to pin the whole thing on the penal legion," Haman explains. "It'll satisfy some of their own members enough to keep them asking too many questions, and preserves some face with the Federal Assembly."

"So you plan to leave Titans?" Cima asks, looking straight at you.

You nod. "We agreed unanimously."

The older woman laughs loudly, settling into the tiger skin draped over her chair. "Excellent! You all survived, AND you left Titans! Absolutely splendid! I knew our politicians underestimated you."

"Sounds like your politicians are idiots, who assume that soldiers are somehow MORE incompetent than they are," you reply disdainfully. "So, that tipoff was meant to end with us getting ourselves killed?"

Cima nods. "You have three potential inheritors to the Zeon legacy on your ship, along with a large number of Newtypes and advanced mobile suits."

"So a lot of them see us as a threat," Haman concludes.

"That's correct," Cima confirms.

"So what do YOU see us as?" Carya asks. "Be straight with us for once."

Cima shrugs. "You're soldiers who deserve better leadership than you've been given, like I was once. Personally, I want to see you become your own masters some day."

"But those are just the hopes of one old soldier. It's up to you what you want."

Next, ALICE manages to secure a clear, secure line to Admiral Kowen.

"Captain, Commander," he greets you suspiciously. "Where are your Titans insignia?"

"We ditched them when we found out the Titans leadership's gone insane with power," Karen explains. "And anyone who's wearing them is about to become VERY unpopular with the general public."

"Why?" he asks, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "What has that fool Jamitov done now?"

You have ALICE show him the images of protestors lying dead in the streets on Libot, their blood running freely from their mouths and eyes as it pools in the gutters. You have him examine the images Carrina took of the downed Slave Wraith machines, the images you took of Titans' "black machines" firing on each other, and radio transcripts of your confrontation with Chap Adel when he found out what Titans had ordered.

"This was no accident," Kowen declares angrily. "It's obvious that this was carefully orchestrated."

The Admiral nods thoughtfully. "I suppose this evidence should be enough to get Kirikov off his ass. You'll need more Captains as well, and pilots. Are you considering Eiphar and Bright?"

You nod, suitably impressed. "Yes, sir."

"Very well," he sighs. "I'll see if I can't get Kirikov to send some of his boys over here to collect me. We'll get some military support arranged for you, and get back to you in a few days."

"Deny them to Titans and keep them safe," Defrah mutters. "Yeah, makes sense."

"It'll take a day and a half to get there," Karen tells you. "Any other points before we break up for now?"

"Yeah, I had a random thought," a voice replies. You turn your head and spot Artesia standing in the doorway. "Something we could do when we get back to Earth that could win over the Assembly."

You cock an eyebrow at her. "Yeah? And that would be..."

"I'd like to talk to them in person," she continues. "Make a show of revealing my identity, and our unit's departure from Titans. It'd get us free publicity, and may win over some political support against Titans."

"And they'd let you in for what reason, exactly?" Haman asks pointedly.

Artesia shrugs. "We've got mobile suits and two large ships."

The Gray Phantom and Troy Horse took part in the naval review near Konpei Island in UC 0083. The ship was presumed to be damaged during the subsequent nuclear assault conducted by the Delaz Fleet.

In Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, the wreck of the Gray Phantom is seen on Earth lodged in a mountain side and is being used a Zeon remnant base. It's unknown how the Gray Phantom's hulk ended up on Earth.

She said it a few threads later when asking for help working her feelings out. Though as I recall she said she wasn't sure how she felt about him, so she could go either way. Also, I believe our advice was "Don't try to force it if you're not feeling it, but you should at least give it a shot". So it might still be a romantic thing.

“It's daring,” you admit. “Bordering on insane.”

Haman nods emphatically: you can tell she likes the plan almost on instinct, but can't quite approve of it rationally. “It's high risk, high reward... if you can't win them over we legitimize Titans' existence, but if it succeeds we'd be taking an ax to their political support.”

“It's something we should save for a rainy day,” Karen concludes. “It's not bad to have a few crazy plans in place for when smart ones won't do.”

Catrina gives a short, mirthful laugh, tossing her head back as she stretches out on the couch. “They think we're all about playing it smart and self-righteous. Taking over the Assembly is the last thing they'd expect us to do.”

“Makes it pretty much perfect,” Rosse agrees.

You stand up from your seat, suddenly feeling restless. “So, who's up to meet our 'ballsy' new guest, huh?”

There's a collective groan around the room. “Aw, it wasn't that bad,” you add defensively.

“It wasn't bad,” Apolly complains, “it was terrible. Sounded like something Ramba Ral would say.”

“... you take that back, buzz-cut,” Carya warns him. “You take that back right now.”

“Yeah, Ral didn't make puns,” Roberto rejoins. “He just couldn't pronounce things. Kept saying “EEE-YARTH. DEE-ZART. That sort of thing.”

“That doesn't make me feel better,” you mutter.

Audrey shrugs. “I thought it was kinda funny.”

Down in one of the guest quarters aboard the Nagato, you find the room assigned to Ball pilot the Sisters rescued mid-fight. Karen came down here with you to meet her, as did Carya and Rossweisse. Your other pilots have mostly decided to turn in and get some sleep, though you think Haman is still up talking to Diana, Marida, and Cynthia to get them to relax a bit. This is probably the first time they've felt so many people dying all at once, and it may well have shaken them a bit.

Seeing no reason to be impolite, and recalling that normal people sometimes have this value they place on privacy, you give the door a hard rap with your knuckles.

"Gimme a minute," you hear a female voice call out. Yeah, or course it's a woman. You're beginning to think Apolly and Roberto were the Universe's way of throwing you a bone.

After a few second the door opens, and a twenty-something woman with long red hair waves you in.

"Captain, Commander, Commander, Ensign," she greets you each in turn, immediately recognizing your ranks. No wonder she survived, she's probably a veteran.

"Come in, if you'd like."

You nod cordially and step inside, with Rosse eventually closing the door behind you.

"I have to admit, I'm surprised to see a man on this ship," the redhead tells you. "All the people I've dealt with so far have been women."

"Yeah," Karen grunts as she settles down onto a chair. "That's a whole thing. I'm Captain Joshua."

"Lieutenant Commander Marseille," Carya adds.

"Ensign Rossweisse," Rosse introduces herself with a little nod of her head. Wait, is that her last name, or her only name?"

"Commander O'Hara," you greet her, extending a hand to shake.

"I've heard of most of you. I'm Chris MacKenzie, former EFSF."

Karen raises one of her own red eyebrows at the name. "I've heard of you. You were the test pilot who shot down that Kampfer we've got in the NT-1 Gundam."

"Wait, you have that?" she replies incredulously. "I saw it out there, but I didn't realize it was the same machine."

"Lots of replacement parts," Rossweisse explains, which causes Chris to frown. Seems that battle is associated with some strong memories.

You quickly change the subject. "I actually referenced some of your reports on the magnetic joint coatings," you offer. "It was good work you did."

"Thanks," she tells you. "I always prided myself on that aspect of my former job."

"What got you out of the EFSF?" Carya asks.

Chris shrugs. "Cockpit phobia."

"Wouldn't know it the way you took on that gas assault team," Catrina counters in a flash of red. "A bit of occupational therapy goes a long way, I guess."

Chris nods. "That's apparently the way it's done. Short-term exposure to the trigger helps a pilot get over it."

"Or you just throw yourself into the deep end and hope for the best," you point out, causing Christina's eyes to widen a little in surprise. Lovely shade of green. Proper Irish.

"How did you guess that?" she asks.

You shrug. "Newtype. Every pilot feels a little fear, but your fear was something I could almost reach out and touch. I'm impressed you handled yourself that well."

"So am I," she replies.

"You want me to fight for you?" she asks bluntly. "To get back onto the front lines?"

You nod. "Yes. It's your choice."

"We'll be leaving the cluster as soon as we're able," Karen adds, "so we still have time to take you back to Libot before then. But you don't have much time to decide."

Christina bites her lip in thought, and is silent for several long seconds. You're really not sure what her answer is going to be until she finally gives it.

"I'll come along. I'd like to say I'm paying you back for today," she says to the Sisters, "but really, I just want to fight Titans. I can't let them get away with what they've done to my home."

You nod to her. "That's fine. ALICE?"

"Yes, Dominic?" ALICE replies, startling Chris a little as she appears on a terminal beside her.

"Put through a secure line to Libot," you order. "Chris, if there's anyone you'd like to talk to before we leave, now's a good time. We'll give you some privacy."

"You think she'll be okay?" Rossweisse muses.

You shrug. "Maybe. It's hard to tell how recruiting a veteran will turn out. Sometimes they're still every bit as good as you remember, sometimes there are hidden issues. It'll just take some time to see for sure."

As you approach your own quarters, you hear something loud is going on inside. Opening the door reveals Audrey and Haman, in their sleepwear and turned away from you, completely absorbed in the process of playing air guitar as loud riffs blare over the speakers.

Given the fact that they're both wailing "DREAM ON" at the tops of their voices, you're pretty sure it's Aerosmith.

Diana, Cynthia, and Marida giggle loudly when the two performers realize they've been walked in on, and Audrey dashes to turn down the music.

"Sorry," she offers lamely. "I was teaching our sheltered friends from Mars about the Earth classics."

Karen frowns at him. "Who are you? Why am I not talking to Miss Hacswell?"

"Miss Hacswell has been temporarily relieved," the Titans officer replies with an attitude of mock congeniality. "Something about a shipment of Gundarium intended for the Zeon remnants. But I'd be more than happy to meet with the men and women of the infamous 'Grim Guard'..."

Red Snake, if I'm right about what it is, is going to be an absolute nightmare to deal with. Six Shooter is probably the Beam Magnum, so our I-Field generators should keep us safe from it. But Red Snake is the code name of the Zeta Gundam equipped with the prototype psycho-jammer, and while the Zeta doesn't exist there's no reason the jammer can't. And we are absolutely loaded with funnels. Hopefully whatever Cyber-Newtype they've got operating it can't handle the strain of commandeering all of them.

A giant rail-cannon that shoots nuclear warheads.

Olympus Cannon.

How many did they build in this timeline? There were originally supposed to be six of them in the original timeline, but the federation's in better shape...
Also, do we know when Haman's ship is supposed to be completed? (Though honestly what we need right now are some grunt MS and pilots)
>>
>>36194257
And bipedal too!

>>36194156
Do what? Be picked to pieces? They're two dudes against god only knows what. Plus South has family to watch after. The Titans would go for them in a heartbeat.

>>36194162
Maybe. Skeptical about yet another colony laser.

>>36194221
>>36194257
Now that would be exactly what Riddick's pencil dick would dream up. It'd be the biggest fuck you he can cobble together for Axis.
>>
>>36194286
>what we need right now are some grunt MS

We need asteroids. Big ones. The Nagato can build our mobile suits from stripmining. Getting pilots will be our biggest challenge.
>>
>>36194334
That and deciding on our MS design.
ReZEL is love, ReZEL is life

I think it might be the Tera-S'ono. It's a non-canon Titans suit from one of the games, designed for psychic warfare. It drives opponents to madness so they can't fight back. It's model number is LRX-066, so that could be why it's "Six Shooter". And if it's being deployed alongside Red Snake, it makes sense for Six Shooter to also be for anti-Newtype combat. Six Shooter incapacitate us, Red Snake hijacks our funnels and shoots us with out own guns.
>>
>>36194334
Don't worry about materials. Considering how things are going, we're going to end up using La Vie en Rose (or what remains from it) for them.

The Sadalahn was launched in 0086/87 I believe. We may see it as early as the end of this year if the shipwrights work like slaves to get her flying.

>>36194387
>not the Quebeley

Get out and find the Proto-Quebeley already. God damn.
>>
>>36194387
I was thinking something like the TR-6 Woundwort, capable of being remodeled with equipment packs to fit a wide range of roles. Transformable fighter, melee brawler, base defense, long-range sniper, you name it and the Woundwort can do it.
>>
>>36194479
>Get out and find the Proto-Quebeley already. God damn.
for a mass produced suit? Really?
>>
>>36194479
the quebeley is really only useful for newtypes we need suits anyone can use
>>
>>36194524
I can dream, right? If we crib Bernini's funnel OS, it'd be doable.
>>
>>36194387
TR-6 Woundwort or RMS-141 Xeku Eins.

To be honest, the Leo would be perfect. The modular backpack system makes it ideal. Sure it explodes like a Zudah when plasma grazes it, but that can be fixed with Luna Titanium. Or we finally upgrade the Kampfer into the Xeku Zwei.
>>
>>36194598
>Sure it explodes like a Zudah when plasma grazes it

Not when it was piloted by a Main Character™
>>
>>36194598
>Or we finally upgrade the Kampfer into the Xeku Zwei
Attempting to remodel it into a heavy assault suit is silly, especially if we don't know if the frame can handle the weight.

We should use a Refined Barzam's frame to do that.
>>
>>36194670
I just want the Leo so we can eventually construct the Tallgeese and finally call Char Zechs.

>>36194678
Either-or. We've already slapped Gundarium on the thing. What's a bit more armor and a shitload of thrusters going to do? IAt worst, it increases it's already ludicrous fuel consumption.
>>
>>36194779
We'd have to take it apart if we need to go to Earth or maybe the Moon due to gravity weighing down it's soul.

I'd rather have the Kampfer Amazing and spend our Barzam on the Xeku Zwei.
>>
>>36194221
>>36194257
>>36194261
For some reason. I imagine Earth and Mars playing the deadliest game of Solar Tennis. Earth hurls nukes while Mars throws giant rocks. The mobile suits intercept the incoming projectiles. It could be a televised sport with the loser facing extinction.

The Jovians Win of course.
>>
>>36195143
No matter who the combatants are, the damned Jovians always win.

>>36194779
The Kampfer may make a decent starting point for a Xeku look-alike. Only difficulty would be balancing the performance issues.

The Xeku is the best case result. The worst case would be the GP-00.
>>
>>36195261
It exploded like the Zudah, didn't it?
>>
>>36195291
More like it tore itself apart.
>>
>>36195291
The GP00 didn't explode, rather it crashed due to poor balance and attitude control. Still wrecked it, but it's implied the pilot survived.
>>
>>36195386
Okay, that is a stronger case to build the Xeku with a sturdier frame.

Pity we can't just loot Scirocco's "The O" plans.

>we can't just loot Scirocco's "The O" plans
Yet!
