You're confident that you could defeat Frieza yourself. But, Vegeta seems determined to do it, and you see no reason not to let him try.

You, Krillin, Gohan, Chiaotzu, and Dende move out of the way as Vegeta prepares to confront Frieza.

"Finally letting your true colors show, are you?" Vegeta asks. "Alright then, do your worst. But, if you think this is going to be easy, you are dead wrong."

Frieza laughs. "Of all the things you might have said. I daresay you seem to have forgotten how vastly terrifying I can be. Let's refresh your memory."

With a loud yell, Frieza begins to gather power. The ground shakes beneath your feet, and chunks of it begin lifting into the air. Vegeta stands his ground as Frieza continues to power up. Gohan, Krillin, and Chiaotzu, however, look absolutely terrified.

"H-he's even worse than I thought he'd be!" Krillin cries out.

"He's a monster! What are we going to do?" Chiaotzu asks.

The tremors from Frieza powering up worsen, and a nearby mountain crumbles. Larger chunks of Earth begin to rise into the air, and a large crack forms between Vegeta's feet.

With a grin, Frieza finishes powering up, and a large pillar of rock shoots up between him and Vegeta. It suddenly breaks in half, and a wave of energy shoots between it and heads for Vegeta, who easily evades it.

Gohan, Krillin, Chiaotzu, and Dende take cover as Vegeta continues to dodge Frieza's attacks.

While the others run cover, you remain where you are, taking stock of your foe's strength.

He's the most powerful opponent you've ever encountered. Even Goku would need to multiply his strength multiple times with the Kaio-ken to match it. You can understand why he's so feared by so many. Still, his strength seems to only be about a third of yours.

At the same time, however, you can tell that Vegeta's confidence wasn't entirely unwarranted. His strength is far greater than it was on Earth, and greater than any enemy you've faced on this planet so far.

He dodges Frieza's attacks effortlessly, and when Frieza shoots one your way, you do the same. A moment later, Krillin, Gohan, and Chiaotzu emerge from cover and prepare to attack Frieza from behind, only to be immediately forced to take evasive action as Frieza turns his attacks on them.

They manage to dodge until Frieza herds them to a spot near the location where they had been hiding. Dende rushes from cover to them, and everyone turns in fear as Frieza lets out another attack.

Vegeta quickly moves in front of the blast, and punches it away.

"Do you really expect me to take such desperate boasts at face-value?" Frieza asks.

"I guess you'll find out," Vegeta tells him.

Frieza scowls. "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR PATHETIC LIES!"

With a yell, he launches himself at Vegeta, throwing a punch with his left hand. Vegeta catches it, and the two fighters struggle against one another. Frieza attempts a palm strike with his right hand, but Vegeta catches that attack as well.

The two warriors push against one another, the ground beneath them being pushed down into a crater. As they continue to struggle against one another, the crater grows larger and larger.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" Frieza screams.

Seconds later, his scouter explodes, and both he and Vegeta leap back.

Vegeta is breathing heavily, but Frieza seems unfazed.

"Very well, I'll indulge you. Though, it's only fair that I inform you that any slim hope you had of victory is about to slip away," Frieza tells him, clenching his hands into fists.

In moments, Frieza sheds his armor, grows in height and bulk, and his power level shoots through the roof, reaching a point where it feels almost two-thirds as strong as yours. Vegeta, brimming with confidence moments ago, steps back, eyes wide with terror.

"W-what are you?" Vegeta asks in shock.

Frieza smirks. "Come now, Vegeta, isn't this what you wanted?"

Vegeta, trembling in fear, doesn't answer.

You step past Vegeta, and towards Frieza, showing no fear whatsoever. Why would you? This opponent is still much weaker than you.

"Do you truly wish to test me, child?" Frieza asks, stepping forward.

"Kid, it's suicide!" Vegeta tells you.

Clenching your hands into fists and bringing them to your side, you let out a yell and begin gathering energy. Nearby mountains crumble, massive waves form in the nearby oceans, the ground trembles, and pieces of it are ripped into the air. Fissures begin forming all around you, and a mighty wind blows.

Vegeta stares at you, wide-eyed, as do the others, as you continue gathering your strength, stopping when it's more or less equal to Frieza's.

"Ah, you have a bit of fight in you," Frieza laughs. "Let's see what you can do."

With that, he charges.

You spring forward, meeting Frieza's charge.

Catching the tyrant off guard, you manage to land the first strike, kicking him in the face and causing him to step back. Gathering energy, you hurl a fierce blast at your disoriented foe.

He manages to recover quickly enough to leap over it, but you quickly follow with a Dodon Ray that slices off a section of his tail. Giving you a hateful look, he pulls his right fist to his chest, coming back to ground and opening it, palm upward.

A massive shockwave of energy shoots away from him in every direction. The others are far enough away to take to the air and avoid it, but you're struck before you have the chance. The blast isn't powerful enough to hurt you much, but it does cause you to roll backwards, completely disoriented.

Before you can regain your bearings, Frieza is upon you, slamming his foot down onto your chest.

"Well, that was impressive, kid," he tells you, putting more weight onto you. "Really, but I can't allow something so rude as damaging my tail to go unpunished."

"DODON RAY!" you shout, a thin beam of light shooting from your index finger and through Frieza's leg.

Letting out an enraged yell, Frieza leaps off of you, holding his left arm out and opening its palm towards you.

"You little brat! It's time you learned some manners!"

You roll out of the way as a powerful energy blast shoots down at you. Getting to your feet, you manage to dodge the next one as well.

After firing just a few more blasts, Frieza pulls his fist to his chest again. But, this time you know what to expect, and leap into the air in time to avoid the shockwave, as Frieza takes aim with another blast.

The whole sotry is cute and I'll accept that she's Goku's mom, but I hate that the story opens up a big plot hole. They steal a space pod and just send Goku off to some random point in space so he's safe if Freezia does something crazy.... but then in Dragon Ball Z Raditz says Goku was sent to Earth on a mission to kill all the humans.

How did Radtiz find out Goku was on Earth? The pod was stolen, so it wouldn't be documented that Goku was in the pod even if it has a tracking device. Also, why would he know it was Goku? There's not evidence that his parents told him about Goku being sent off. And even if he was told that, why would Raditz lie and say Goku was sent to Earth on a mission?

In Bardock Father of Goku, there aren't plot holes like this. Goku is deliberately sent to Earth on his mission, it most likely documented that he is sent to Earth. It is perfectly reasonable, expected even, that Raditz would know all this.

Ironically Bardok Father of Goku was anime original, near filler level.

I believe I read elsewhere, that Toriyama liked the character and portrayal so much he ended up including Bardok minorly in the main series.

Ironically the portrayal by Toriyama opens plot holes that should not be there.

I figure that there might be as many 2 dozen Saiyan's still alive when Freiza blew up the planet, but all of them would be aged between Goku and Nappa at the oldest. Probably even fewer left alive by the time the series hit DBZ anyways.

Kind of. The idea was to concentrate a large portion of our Ki like we do when we prepare to fire off the Taihouki and then instead of throwing it or expending it in an attack, shifting it around like the enhanced wolf fang fist. If it was shifted to enhance a punch then that punch would carry that much extra power compared to a normal one, if it was shifted to help us fly faster we'd move that much faster compared to normal in a sudden burst etc. Then once we got really good with it we could use that to close in on an enemy much more powerful than us and deliver a Taihouki at point blank range. Or if we've developed it used the energy sword etc. It only works if we normally have our energy evenly distributed to all parts of our body during combat.

Without Goku reaching Super Saiyan, final form Frieza would still wreck the both Kaguya and Goku together if he decided to stop fucking around. The key to surviving is making sure he doesn't decide to stop fucking around completely and go 100% on us. Playing around with him until he reaches final form, then holding out for a while and breaking past our limits multiple times to keep up with him as he gets more serious is our best bet at not getting Krillin'd. Technically speaking, they really didn't. In Trunk's world, 17 and 18 were stronger than all of the Z Warriors, including Super Saiyan Gohan. In the main timeline, Piccolo by himself was stronger than 17.

The main advantage of the Androids was
a. they can't be sensed, making it impossible to gauge or detect their power and respond appropriately
and
b. their energy is infinite. They do not suffer from fatigue, and are always operating at maximum power.

not that I recall. Buu just made her look weak because his power level was way higher. Drawing from the wiki, 18 always had a PL of 300 million, while Super Buu was over 1 billion. Considering the fight between 18 and Vegeta in the android arc, where 18 was still 300 million and Vegeta was 200 million and still got stomped, this is quite a gap.

you go from Dragonball, where the top power levels were around 300-400, to Radditz, which is 1200ish, then Nappa, 7000 then to Vegeta who is 18,000/180k in monky form.

Namak is more or less tiered well, until you get to Freeza who is 150million, from the ~180k that Captain Ginyu had.

Cell saga we need to somehow push to like 100-200mil before android saga and somehow push to like 500mil or so in the time chamber. If we even have someone to spar with.

Likely after we returned from Namek without the warning, we didn't really push ourselves and only had a power level of like 20-30mil or so when they woke up. Need to be SSJ level, 150mil+ when they wake up to stand a chance.

Dr. Gero will likely end up using our cells to increase the power provided by humans in Cell, so he may be like 25% stronger in this time line.

And he will know some of our techniques. Any of them up to when the androids show up basically.
