Like say finding a keep filled with something to keep the undead corruption down or taking out a merc guild.

>>
>>37250304
>And what the fuck are you doing thinking of burning fare when we have 1 uber boon. 1 major boon. and 1 minor boon we can spend.

I've been playing Genie's civs for a hot minute now, and I know what I'm doing a little bit.

Boons are going to be better spent on 'purchasing' actual physical improvements, or other more permanent things. They're less limited than Fate so they should be burnt quite sparingly. For example we could burn our minor boon on making the section of the river where our fishery is incredibly fish-rich, thereby easing our food issues. The major boon could be spent on having us discover some sort of important resource in our demesne, or something similar.

tl;dr Boons should be burnt more sparingly than Fate.

>>
>>37250437
>>37250436
The Memor are the obvious choice, Genie wouldn't put this offer out there unless he had anticipated them being picked and had terrible, terrible plans in store for them.

So I'd advise against resurrecting them. We should definitely resurrect the Prophet of Fate though. He was so bro-tier.

>>
>>37250666
To be fair though another HUGE reason anons get attached to the Memor is because of the utter bullshit i pulled with string pulling.

and the resulting epic fail to get payback with the very next civ...

They got played since pretty much by day fucking 1. Only one anon ever had an suspicions but literally EVERYONE else ignored anon. Despite that anons suspicions only ever grew as the civ carried on.

the reveal only HAPPENED after the civ died. Then that very anon asked about it...and i revealed the truth.

THat anon actually had a point. Pretty sure said anon either quite right there or after the fail of vengeance forever.

To be fair though it really was fucking brilliant bullshit that led to many a mind fuck.

I am very proud of the amazing shit i pulled off with that one. It started off so slowly and lowly at that...and there were hints.

Then it all came to a head but only AFTER it was game over was it revealed.

FUCK YEAH!

And that is why dear anons one best be paranoid when the Genie starts a plotting or politics start a whirling.

>>37250770
depends. You can force spawn but it would be random...
>>
>>37250686
No no, you misunderstand me. What I'm saying is that if we bring a super-OP hero HERE then there's very little reason for them not to kick all of our asses.

To name off just a few who could do it no problem SOLO: General Viczar, Warlord Duelfists, Glowy Joe, Dr. Volk/Richard, Clora'Zel Heh, that'd be a setting-fucker, Our Beloved Hax Commander, Bloodsnow's Killbot, Evil Mastermind, etc.

The list goes on and on, and all of those guys would have reason to want to kill us/control us if we summoned them.

If you want to summon a hero, be smart about it. Summon Sir Didrikson the adviser from the Fantasy Rangers civ, he'd like staying with us (we even have one of his cousins in our employ) and he'd legitimize our claim to this area because he's a nobleman.

>>
>>37250983
Which is why I said take a page from DF players and take it in stride. their most glorious stories are tragedies and the fall of their mightiest and most powerful fortresses.

Besides with the way most civ threads crap out as OP ninjas away/burns out its probably a nicer end to just have it end instead of hang in limbo.

They tend to be be interconnected and can sometimes feed into each other. Like a safe areas are likely to be colonized as well as ones with worthwhile goods.

Anyway don't forget you have officers and special units floating around...while they aren't heroic per a say they do offer their own special bonuses and opinions.

>>37251841
Its sorta complicated actually

*autism intensifies*

World building wise...icc its known the Fae and elves share similarities and connections.

THe oldest elven legends tell of the time when they were immortal...

OCC

The elves are descendents of ancient Fey colonists. They gradually got 'adjusted' by their new home.

the elves and dwarves actually share a same ancestor. Though the dwarves claim to be made by their gods this is false.

the truth is the Fae's longest memory is only of the myth of them being once immortal. Those were actually the 'sylvan' elves they were Fae colonist descendents. The current day mortal elves are ancient descendents of theirs but they have long forgotten their true Faelic origins as have the dwarves.

Its best you don't bring up the possibility of them having the same ancestor as dwarves less you have a slow horrible death wish.

Oh you wouldn't fucking believe it.

Half the reason the Memor had SO much diversity and so many people and no morale problems was the hivemind.

The other half was literally the Flesh Palace (not a den, a palace) where not only was breeding a state sponsored program to increase population, it was virtually the primary form of entertainment and a cultural symbol of diverse species working together.

WIth an actual brood queen overwatching everything and dumping arousal and fertility pheramones into the air and water too.

It was a way of life for them.
>>
>>37252204
Humans, bandits, ghouls, 10 different species of mutants, brood and flesh monsters, robots, some friendly monsters and monster pets, living plants, the occasional giant spider from our vast spider army, the crystal golem.

They all shared each others thoughts through the hivemind, and each others bodies through the palace.

We were all one. We were, the Memor.

... never mind I'm dumb.

Luckily for you though 4 of those units will be absorbed by our base pop if allowed.

Sadly you'll be missing out on the levies and barbarians if you allow them to dissolve.

Beastly Boars(will come up with new name as the are classified a Beast type monster unit) will be broken into your animal stat.

Hobgoblins are a monster unit...but are well true soldiers. Except them to be mean and ugly.

They are part of the goblin family but are notorious for their waging of warfare and look down upon most of their brethren

This was it, for some reason I miss took it for something else. Mainly didn't think goblins were good to be absorbed. I thought them to be too war happy for that.

"So...just WHY are we taking a walk in the woods so goddamn early," complained Valaria

"I don't know why you asking the Fairy," answered Ashley

"Because obviously woods+fae so something is up."

"Nothing is up...I think."

"What type of woods are these anyway? I recall lots of monsters...and some undead yet no Fae or even knife ears."

"If you must know the forest nearby is indeed crawling with monsters and there are sections that are indeed haunted. Elf wise i think there is only a few wandering tribes and maybe a few villages. Fairies...eh not all that dense. Too many monsters and undead are repulsive."

"...so WHY are we going then?"

Ashly merely shrugs in reply.

"Ahem because like a walk in the woods are always nice," you reply.

"Fuck you we ain't even got an escort and you dragged me out when while I was still asleep."

"I wish to poke around without the troops to get a lay of the land. Besides last time I brought them we suffered no small losses remember?"

"Ahh...but why?"

"Walk in the woods is good for one's soul."

"Not these woods," mutters Ashley.

"Well you could at the very LEAST have acquired us some of those undead of yours," points out the Adviser.

"but their creepy," you respond.

"So how deep are we anyway dryad?"

"Oh not that far along anyway your guys are on your own here on out."

"Wait why," you ask turning around only to find a pile of leavers and a log where she previously stood...also a very odd scent in the air.

"God fucking damn it you IDIOT! You see what happens when you brought her along? Now were fucking lost in the woods without Fae help!"

"...oops."

"AHH you terrible moron now what are we gonna do?"

"Well...we will continue our walk in the woods."

All these rolls...

The ride never ends!

-------

For some reason as you approached you heard a strangled gasp coming from and some quick paces. You meanwhile had been sighted by the very pretty single lady and she seems caught offguard and has a weird look in your eyes.

So you do the fine and proper thing and wave at her before asking her name.

or tried to anyway before you got tackled to the ground and heard your adviser whispering about how much of a complete fucking idiot you are.

You don't exactly get it...

I mean she was swimming right in the open not enclosed or anything so what was the harm right? I mean you have manners your mother taught you it was impolite to interrupt bathing which was wasn't and to stare or gaze below the neckline so of course you didn't.

Not that either of them seemed to care about that.

For some reason though you heard you heard a tinkling laughter before from the sounds of it the real pretty lady was exiting from the pool and from the dripping noises and pacing was heading right towards you.

Right as you looked up you noted there was the lady standing before you dripping water and wearing her birthday suit. You also noted there was a strange dangerous snear on her face that abruptly vanished upon looking at you as if it was never there...and you seriously doubted it was to begin with considering the twinkle in her eyes and her gleaming smile as she crouched down before you.

You must say she is really REALLY quite pretty and despite wandering where her clothes were decided it was best to make greetings before asking any questions as is the polite thing to do.

"Ahem my lady I am ah..." that was when your name caught within your throat realizing that you didn't have the right to say the name you were gonna use.

You dropping off however you noticed the pretty ladies began to narrow dangerously and you could here your adviser mutter "Oh you fucking idiot" before she replied.

"You are ah who exactly?"

"Ahem my profoundest apologies" you began recalling what your mother said how in certain situations honesty is the best policy while in others your better off lying your fucking ass off. Considering that look in her eyes though you figured this is due to some kind of misunderstanding so honesty is best to get rid of it.

"Well you see the name was about to use I remembered was no longer my right so that is why I took pause like that."

With that statement that dangerous look was gone just like that as if it never was.

"Ah" she exclaimed bracing her hands together before grabbing you to pull you up with surprising strength and completely ignored her nakedness or the view she was granting. "I completely understand some names we borrow, some are best unspoken, and a few are lost to us all together. Even possibly taken from us yes?" With that last question is gazed into your eyes and apparently she easily figured out the truth from your expression. So she pressed herself up against you innocently in embrace and hug. Blinding you with her golden blond hair as she pressed her lips up to your ear and whispered "I understand."

With that you were oddly relieved and figured out why she was like this...she was actually completely innocent. Usually when you got hugged it was like a family member or them wanting something from you. How she embraced you was like that of an innocent child with her regards to nakedness. Which was something you could understand easily. There just wasn't that strange feeling or that familiar love after all.

Then abruptly next thing you knew she threw you into the pool and was laughing. Valarie meanwhile was staring with wide shocked eyes.

Truth betold though that was a fine prank and you were getting sweaty in your armor.

Thankfully though as your head went under dragged by your heavy armor not to many air bubbles escaped and neither was it hard to get out.

Still though it felt great once you got over sinking like a stone.

Upon the shore and trying to catch a breath with. You realized it was best to take off your armor to check it and your wet clothes so as not to catch a cold. From the sounds of it your adviser is smashing her head against a tree repeatedly considering the thuds so your in the clear.

So you quickly work on pealing your armor off to inspect and later your clothes. With interestingly enough the help of the one lady.

"Ahem so pray will you tell me your name?"

"heh well you haven't told me yours so why should i tell you mine?"

"Uhh.." shit she had a point and you were never told how to answer in a situation like this before.

With that she giggled and...wait a second how are you already naked and oh hey there is the surface of water again. Damn it not again you pondered before a big splash and another right after.

Upon seeing the two of you and with an apparently fresh and bleeding head wound your adviser returned and upon looking at the two of of you had a strange glazed look in her eye upon sighting in you in the perfectly clear water before snapping out of it and shaking her head before shouting. Now however with a bit of red in her cheeks.

"For the love of...HAVE SOME FUCKING DECENCY YOU TWO!"

With that your new friend merely laughed and with a kick and surprisingly loud splash managed to hit her soaking her through with a wave of water. You must say that was mighty impressive and couldn't help but crack up.

"Well look at you now why don't you join us while your clothing dries hm," taunted your new friend.

Ah this DOES bring back memories though. Times long past back when you were a kid and stuff like this wasn't frowned upon nearly so much as you got older for some reason people stopped, they got funny, lost interest or acquired new interest in something you never quite understood yourself. One of yet many reasons why you got so into fun fighting.

Still though considering that fuming glare your adviser is giving out is something else. That was when she led out a large sight and looked at you strangely.

"I don't know HOW you managed to avoid all this bullshit," before throwing up her hands before heading towards the tree before shouting "Have fun you two overgrown bloody children."

Then abruptly turned out and headed back towards your pile of clothes and armor picking them up muttering under her breath and stealing glances your way before sighing into her arm off and on.

"Hey lady where the hell is your clothing," your adviser demands as she sets out your clothing dry and works on tending to your armor.

"uhm..." she says with an surprisingly adorable pouting expression as she apparently enters deep thought. "Well I sorta threw it away" she finally answers shrugging.

"What? WHY!"

"Got ruined," she simply replies nonchalantly.

"Oh for the love of..."

You...you know that look. That is the odd look she has when dealing with your so called bullshit at times. Still though she heads back grabs her pack and sets herself up near the shore and drying clothes before muttering to herself about common decency, being a woman, and something about spare clothes as she shifts through. Giving them an appraising eye while comparing them to the two of you closely.

Eventually though she settles upon one of her spare tunics and stares out. You can hear her muttering about "beautiful bountiful bodylicous breasts" you never quite understood why she would complain or mutter about those sorta things. As you recall no matter their size or appearance the mammary glands would still get the job done all the same. So you never understood why both men and women would get so funny about it all much less jealous.

fuck writing this character is a riot. Sorta hard doing the incredibly sexually naive man child properly though./spoiler]

Still nonetheless she brings out some of her spares before doing some well placed rips, tears, and adjustments all the while complaining under her breath about "beautiful bodies" "worrisome wetness" and "overgrown children". You don't get it as clearly none of you present are children much less giant ones. Not to mention while pretty you don't recall any actual beauty as one would expect in something like a nice painting or landscape.

Your not entirely sure how much time passed especially considering how fun it was and how eventually your adviser took a name with her hands down amongst the folds of skirt for some reason probably to adjust them making sure they don't get in the way, as she seemingly dosed off between making the odd sound and there with one arm shrouding her eyes from the sun.

That was when abruptly you heard a loud croaking voice shout out "What the hell is going on here" and the rasping of weapons being drawn and the whoosh of air as adjustments are raised.

THis was when you deeply regretted not having a weapon nearby but in your credit you DID move quite fast as you rushed towards your gear. As some figures strode out of the shadows gazing in alarm...at you for some reason. Ah of fucking course she had guards. Last time this happened you ended up engaged and you REALLY weren't looking forward to repeating that experience any time soon.

If you had to guess they must of interrupted her during a REALLY good part in a dream. You hated it when that happened and you woke up.

Still though they were spreading out quickly...and your new lady friend was approaching them.

"Ah little lady we were wondering where you had gone off to this ti-"

"What are you doing?"

"Ah we knew something was off you see considering-"

"These are my new...friends."

"Ah but you and he is..."

"So?"

"This one is different."

"Ah...my apologize," with that the hulking bastard who wore such heavy armor as to put plate to shame put away his huge sword before making a hand gesture causing his fellows to stand down.

"AND STOP CALLING ME LITTLE LADY I am NOT little anymore," she shouted in anger.

That was when the behemoth snorted before replying as the others started cracking up. "Sorry little lady you may be grown but you are still a little lady."

"ARGH," you could see her pouting as she stamped her naked foot into the grass.

"AH what about your clothing?"

"Some is right here," cursed your adviser as she through some of her adjusted spares their way before moving off muttering about "interrupting jackasses, 'lack of manly understanding', ' terrible timing,' and 'was almost there.'

Yup they so must of interrupted her during one of her naps or good dreams. She always gets so pissy afterwards though you recall a few of the other women nodding in understanding with her complaints except for her sister who would start jabbing her with comments of 'ease' and 'others' that would always cool her jets real quick. Otherwise it took awhile.

"And you ar-" began the behemoth towards you until he was stared down into silence by the lady.

You REALLY wish you could figure out how to do shit like that. Women seemed much more apt at it especially your fiance and your mother...good god getting caught between those stares. Just the memory made you shutter alone. The one time though when your mother, her mother, and fiance were all together and you got that look...you STILL have night terrors about that.

As is just one alone would give you nightmares. You actually felt rather sorry for the guy as you got dressed.

"Ahah I understand," nodded the behemoth towards the lady who got dressed without a care in the world. Meanwhile nearby stood a confused soldier holding a rather nice dress in his grips slowly put it back in his pack with a single seething glance from her.

...you started to feel a cold trickle of sweet moved down your back. Which you KNEW wasn't water. These two...they brought back terrible memories with those gazes of theirs.

If a third one shows up...you still haven't gotten over the night terrors from the last time something like that happened.

Still though luckily enough the big behemoth broke your train of thoughts and covered up his lady being dressed. Nearby you noted your adviser fuming away so fucking hard the soldiers were taking careful consideration of how close they got despite their need of formation. You could see it boiling away near her location as they tried to get out of the way.

"Ahem." began the hulking behemoth staring down at you. Good god he is a huge fucker you must say looks like he could tear a tree of the ground with one bare hand. "What are you doing in these woods sir...with your uhm." he began as he tried to steal away glance at your adviser but failed miserably as he flinched away. "Uh partner?" He questioned carefully.

"Oh we just went on a walk in the woods," you replied casually.

"Uh these woods," he questioned carefully.

"Ah really isn't this place a bit weird for a date young si-" That was when you heard a loud WHAM sound and ringing as if a church bell was going off right in front of as you noted the behemoth with a fresh dent in his helm fell sideways right into the pool and created a huge splash that you just BARELY managed to dodge.

Looking over at what he was hit by...was a shoe and looking down at the pool you noted plenty of ripples but no bubbles. You...looked towards your adviser. There she was...rather pissed off having just finished throwing her shoe. Which you carefully picked up and headed towards her. On the way you noticed after the stunned silence of what happened the remaining guards hurridiedly with the evidence of no small panic moved away from her breaking their formation without hesitation in the attempt to get away from her.

There she grabbed her shoe from you putting it on before striding forwards that was when she shouted.

"Do ANY of you fucking IDIOTS have ANY manners at all? Should you dumb fucks of ALL people considering you escort a LADY should FUCKING KNOW BETTER GODDAMN IT THEN TO INTERRUPT HER DURING HER IMPORTANT BIZ RIGHT?"

That last part she was screaming with a blood curdling voice. Wow she hasn't been this mad since her boyfriend dumped her due to 'lack of assets'. Which is strange considering she was rich AND a scholarship student despite so you never quite got it. Especially with the apparent comment that a 'pretty face and brilliant brain just wasn't cutting it.'

The guards in their credit could just nod in accordance.

"SO WHY THE EVER LIVING FUCK DID YOU INTERRUPT HUH YOU USELESS DIPSHITS!"

holy fuck she is actually cursing she really IS pissed.

"FOR YOU SEE UNLIKE MOST OTHER MORONS YOU CHUCKLEFUCKS DON'T GOT A DAMNED EXCUSE THIS TIME AROUND!"

with her rant over she apparently calmed down though your ears are still ringing having been dragged along by her. There was nothing but stunned silence.

So there you were back near the pool looking down at it you noticed the ripples have calmed...and still there weren't any air bubbles. Not a good sign to say the least.

That was when you heard a female voice spoke up as you noticed the lady commented "I like her" as she headed towards the both of you.

When she got closer you asked about her hulking behemoth and lack of air bubbles.

She merely looked at the pool before commenting that he would be "JUUST" fine' as she put it.

Sure enough in a little bit and after harsh breathing from you adviser he errupted from the water as he pulled is sorry as out. Only to be on eye level with the adviser there he halted despite awkward positioning.

"you..." she began...now with pure cold rage and a chill distant voice. "are the most guilty of them all." You could actually see his great hulk tremble and the beads of water on his armor made it look as if he was sweating so hard even his armor was setting a cold sweat. "For you see one such as you...and given your position should of been especially keen on as superior and experience would normally dictate-" that was when she was interrupted with a splash as the hulking behemoth leaped into the water."that you would of known better." despite such heavy armor jetted forth with great speed splitting the water apart as he swam away hurriedly "So considering this and then the wretched words that you later spoke" at this point she was little more then whispering as he voice slowly died away considering how he reacted though her must of heard loud and clear. LEAPING out of the water before rushing into the woods without once looking back. You didn't catch those last words as he made his desperate dash.

That was when she turned towards you...that gaze. Sweet mother of mercy. "You..." she began once more.

I fucking hate these dice combos...I am running out of shit.

THERE IS TOO FUCKING MANY FOR A MERE GODDAMN WALK AROUND anyway back to the story...

-----
"Are the most guilty of them." My god the look of anguish in her eyes as he continued on just kept on getting worst and worst. "You see despite being a MAN." the way she spoke that one was with a whispering voice as if she was remembering. "Cannot but help be a child can you? Despite being an adult...you cannot understand what it properly entails can you?"

Each word another fucking stab...what was worst though as she looked at you....she could tell you still weren't getting it which just increased the anguish in those eyes. The worst part was you really couldn't quite 'get it' hell you NEVER 'got it'.

"You....are just a child in a man's body. a 'manchild' aren't you?"

With those last words...she started to turn away as tears formed in her eyes. but still she spoke a few words more words before they overtook her.

"Yet its why you are good at what do you isn't it?"

With that she walked away.

Before you could bring proper thought to the words she spoke you heard a whistle a voice.

"Wow she is good. I can totally see why you keep her around huh?"

You didn't really have the heart to reply at that moment.

"Nah its okay she'll get over it. Considering the way you two act together you been with each other for awhile so this isn't about to ruin things."

That she is correct in...but the words your adviser spoken had wrung quite true. You had heard similar things and the odd thought.

The torment it caused others though...you could never understand why, how, or anything which only increased their torment.

Its why you went out to fight in the longest campaigns and the harshest missions.

In the desperate hope to both prove them wrong and to avoid it for long as possible.

While it certainly proved yourself and made you mighty in the head the very things people worried about came to a head that day...
>>
Rolled 83 (1d100)

>>37257008
You remember that day is if it were just happened. That day it all came to ahead...that day despite you being so off. That both helped and aided you...that day what had made you great betrayed you in the worst possible way.

That day what made you great turned on you.

and you never understood quite how or why...but everyone else around you did.

That day everything you did that was previously right was wrong and what was wrong was right.

Too bad you hadn't realized it was the day of opposites until it was far too late.

That day you lost everything even your very name. Your friends became enemies, your family your worst enemy, your duty turned into betrayal, your good became wrong, evil became right, and your old enemies turned into new friends.

You remembered what happened awhile back.

-----
"Hey why doesn't anyone say who the big boss is?"

"Shut up..."

"What just asking?"

"Don't."

THats right...that day it was a new guy amongst a bunch of veterans.

"We the older guys all know what his name once was...but we don't speak of it."

"Why not?"

"Look new guy his name is a no alright?"

Thats right...no one understood that. THe new people they couldn't just get what happens when you lose everything, when you very name becomes forsaken.

The worst betrayal though...to this day you still don't know who that should belong to. Your people? Your kingdom? Friends? Family? The sheer wrongness of it?"

You have no idea. Yet the worst feeling....the worst feeling of all is by far the feeling realizing that in truth it was you in the wrong. NOT the others.

Sure you could claim otherwise but you know you were wrong...you just never understood how exactly because you never 'got it.' That everyone else does as they get older.

Its partly why you were such a kid person and kids were always a fan.

To them you...were in the right and not your fellow adult. Of course this never lasted once they got older they too would always 'get it'.
>>

Of course the kids also realized you were off...but they thought that was just more awesome.

Still though despite many adult related things like warfare...you were fucking amazing at warfare. Despite how amazing you were. The feats you pulled off...there was still alway that lingering bit of offness.

To yourself this was most obvious in regards to that one topic you never could simply wrap your head around. Even then you were just aware, but never understanding.

Really that is your problem the 'understanding'. You had the awareness its partly what made you so goddamn good. You were always aware of how the enemy was gonna roll...how they were gonna react. Their weaknesses...but you never quite 'understood it'.

That day the awareness and the understanding turned against you like never before.

------
Meanwhile you are a soldier who has approached the little lady...who for some reason is oddly interested in this male. Normally they NEVER exactly live for very long. but nope not this one...what bothers you though is that haunted look on his face and that thousand yard stare in his eyes.

You remember stumbling upon the scene with the others trying to track down the little lady with her travels. That scene is seared into your mind...also his scary ass girlfriend.

Like holy shit.

That little one certainly made it much more understandable how he was able to pull it off. You and yours aren't to familiar with feelings these days...been so long since you were but that don't mean your eager to die again. The once is always enough especially once the True Death takes you.

-----------------------

Anyway your trip through the wounds was uneventful until the dead trees started showing up, then the creeping mist, and finally the fucking ruins.

That was when you stopped and the little lady(really fucking ironic as it turned out as she was tall as shit) grabs your hand before knocking on a lone pillar.

Eventually something fell down besides you...rising up and revealing a vile shade with glowing that reached out for you before suddenly pausing upon seeing who you stood next to.

"This oh wait this isn't him." that was when she kicked the shade who dissipated into the mist.

Awhile later a different figured showed up...though you heard it coming first. Or more precisely the chains it was dragging along as it strode out off the mist. What stood there was a hooded figure with glowing red sliver for eyes and huge toothy grin. Nothing else was visible...but as the mist recoiled from it then you saw the rest of its body...unlike its two brethren who folllowed up being completely shrouded this one wore only a hood, pants, and chains as its muscles struggled against it. Its dark grey skin pulsating muscle beneath against the chains it carried with. It was covered in odd markings that changed hues in color. It strode towards you before halting.

There it stood and that was when the lady leaped into action seemingly breathing the very life back into the local environment as she responded.

"This guy here is Rathos he is the big wig among the spectres of these haunted woods. The dude is so strong he stopped being ethereal! "

When she saw the look of doubt on your face she responded.

"No he seriously is that strong. Rathos likes his chains for tearing the souls out of people or maybe tearing them apart usually depends on the mood the big bad boy is in."

He growls in agreement before kinda shrugging a bit.

"Anyway old Rathos here also uses his chains as armor but can also flicker back and forth. Best advise to NOT get hit when he is flickering you don't want to know what that does to you."

And there he goes cackling in glee as he gives huge evil toothy grin.

"Anyway the other undead biggies in this forests that I am acquinted with is Karzi Vonni the local vampire count I'll introduce him after the others as he always takes the longest as he ADORES company. As in you show up at his place and become a guest you wont have to worry about getting eaten. Good luck making it there alive though, but hey if on the other hand your alive but not so intact he'll even patch you up! Real nice guy once you get passed his coven."

"The others meanwhile there is skeletal lord or lady Alex I still honestly don't know which. Might have to do with old Alex likes to collect and exchange bones. Mostly due the piles of gore, pools of dried blood, and rusted plants everywhere. Even the trees are seemingly rusted how the hell that works is something you have no idea.

"Now for the next one is the worst of the lot being Slesh the Slaughter. No NOT butcher but Slaughter. Yeah really is that bad."

"Old Slesh here is responsible for the lack of elves in these forests don't know why but she REALLY likes to slaughter the pricks. No I don't mean fighting them I mean crushing their resistance so hard it turns into a slaughter otherwise she buggers off. Drove the elves insane with her tactics and strategy used their fear of death and long lives against them so hard."

"I think once upon a time when she was alive she was a butcher but something happened with a elvish lover and she died. Next thing you know Slesha is off slaughtering the elves sacking their cities and wrecking their kingdoms. She got SO good at it that unlike just about every other forest there are NO elves in the deepest reaches of the forest which SHOULD of been their stronghold."

"Anyway now those former kingdoms of theirs in the heart of the woods lurks the Banshee Queen Silvia and her undead kingdom. No I wont be taking you there she's a bitch. Like imagine the worst of elven royalty of the Highest of Elvish made immortal and

"IF you need to see her though I suggest bringing her a gift as in vessel as in sacrifice just don't kill them they much prefer em alive. She wont accept anything but elves though if you want a audience preferably female otherwise she wont see you and she STILL has to like it."

"Her kingdom is like max creepy though like other undead ones ain't got shit. Has to do with their twisted obsession of living and nature or something. All i know is that they even creep the fuck out the other undead."

Though now when you look closer it looks as if 'battlefield' would be compliment. Its more akin to killzone that worked TOO well and where your headed appears to be where some right proper butchery take place and is actively so as you noticed undead were dragging back bodies some of whom were screaming or moaning as gristly work was done.

Right in the middle of it sitting on a tree drenched head to two in blood and gore sat a distinctly female figure whistling a cheery tune while eating an apple legs dangling happily as they dripped with fresh blood onto the forest floor below.

Considering that figure was the only one NOT working you safely assumed as it turned out to be the boss and the one known as 'Slesh'.

When she noticed you guys approaching she cheerfully waved before hopping down and...actually skipped across the battlefield like a happy little flowergirl.

That image is gonna haunt you for awhile if the searing coming from your mind has anything to say about it.
'
"Oh hey," began the lady before abruptly the small drenched figure leaps at and gives quite the crushing hug if the cracking and squirming anything to go by before finally letting go...and she is finally silent as she attempts to recover. That was when her attention turned to you.

...those eyes you noticed glowed a...pretty pink. Sure wasn't expecting that. After taking a look at you she looked back at her and said.

"Finally found one different huh I know this one caused quite a bit trouble he did along with his merry band," that was when you realized just how short she was. She was about up to your lower chest and to the one she nearly gave a death hug to was about to her waist. Still though she narrowed her eyes." I recall that you took up a bunch of Scourges with you. What you hear to recruit the mighty Slesh!" She finished trying to stand up on her tippy toes in the pathetic attempt to look mighty and fearsome

Now if you hadn't known what her history was NOT including her appearance, capabilities, and this place you would of indeed have assumed she harmless.

Sadly you knew she was no fucking joke. Despite being covered head to toe in fresh gore, this slaughter field, and the butchering going on nearby you would assumed she wasn't a threat at all.

Unbelievably deceiving appearances she possessed.

That was when you heard the lady spoke up.

"Guess other elven kingdoms finally sent reinforcements," coughed little lady questioningly.

"Yup, didn't exactly turn out well for them. Sure we missed a few scouts which you can take with you by the way" the last part she was looking at you. "not enough of them for a proper slaughter anyway yeah took out most the scouts then swept in and slaughtered them during their march. That was when they tried to retreat but we just followed them among the trees wiping em out. Real fun hadn't had that much fun in awhile slaughtering the villages gets boring after awhile you? Especially all the work you have to do just to find the damned things hardly any fun. Good thing there be wild elves they are perfect for the dull lulls between em."

"Ah good to know," little lady seems to be speaking clearly now having recovered. "How's Silvia?"

"OH she is doing great keeps on burning through too many vessels though she's harsh on em with how old she is they burn out too quick. Luckily this event got me some real nice ones so she'll be coming down right quick."

"What about her old body?"

"Best not bring that up she is picky about that one you would think a girl who died young and pretty wouldn't mind it but nope. She likes playing with the other ones despite all the damned spells put into it."

"Why is that?"

"She claims living bodies are fun little perv she is not even fresh ones are good enough for her. Only time she takes her body out for a ride is when she is prepping for battle or expects trouble."

"So she'll be here soon?"

Decided that carrying on as undead was much preferable didn't even have the good grace to wait till her body cooled before she was on the move as banshee."

"Ah...I remember the first day we met her screaming her head of slaughtering elves by the hundreds and i joined in by the hundreds...together thousands died between us."

"Then she hopped back into her body once she cooled off still warm by the way that was how quick we worked on killing em all."

"Guess what she did after?"

"Uh what?"

"started taking pot shots at reapers and grabbing departing souls not letting them go as she put them through torment. Let me tell you few things crueler then forcing a soul to not release properly the limbo causes all sorts of havoc to em. Not even I am that wicked."

"She did that to her own sisters by the way she would of done her mother and pops in but I got to them first. Her very own sisters now serve as her personnel escort."

"Real cunts too by the way hate her fucking sisters."

"I know right?"

There they both nod in agreement.

That was when you ask an important question.

"What is different about her sisters?"

"Simply put," explain Slesh. "You know typical sisterly 'love' and 'rivarly' dial that up to 11, make em royal, and long lived elves. Now you got that pictured in your mind right?"

You shuddered at the very thought.

"Now include the twisted emotions of going undead, feeling death shock, and freshly undead. The things she did to her sisters are like never before seen. I mean shit those poor spirits she first turned alone she has a hard time repeating...but can do so. Those ones were fucking elite. Her sisters though....it was bad ass what she did."

"As how to spot them...well the elite ones right they are known as the Bloody Banshees they glow red. Her sisters though...they got a purple aura."

You try to understand.

"Speak of the devil there is one of the cunts now."

Looking over you can see five banshees approaching screaming their heads off silently the look of torment of their immaterial forms proving a haunting yet entrancing melody.

Sure enough though...you notice a haze.

"Yup cunt now fuck off she gets first dibs."

The piercing gaze the banshee unleashed would of killed a mindless ooze or mighty undead with the feeling behind it. Slesh took it like a champ unforunately a spare guard was caught in it as the banshee departed and after a weird hurk sounding squeeck crashed loudly into a tree before hitting the forest floor in a pool of blood...that was then turned brackish by odd fluids released by it.

"FUCK," shouted one of the guards who was close to his now deceased buddy which just so happened saved his life as he turned towards him.

"Aw damn Banshee killed Frank I liked Frank he made the best sausages," complained one of the guards as they shambled over to the dead guard now known as frank the sausage maker.

"Quick check if he got his special sauce on em!"

With that last sentence abruptly all the guards surrounding frank abruptly grabbed for em suddenly a storm of bits and gore explodes outward.

When they finally cleared away surprisingly enough his body was left intact his possessions less so...that was when it was revealed though.

Frank...had actually been dead for quite awhile before.

and

Frank wasn't human.

Looking at him he appeared to be an undead hobgoblin.

That was when you heard little lady speak up.

"Goddamn it you morons we weren't suppose to do the reveal just yet," she complained loudly while looking on at them and they shuffled their feat looking downward.

"but...but special sauce," one of them whined.

"I don't care about franks sauce and yes it is good but is sausages were plain amazing...man I am gonna miss those fucking sausages." moaned the lady as she smacked her lips.

"THere is a reason why I kept him close damn it and now that got him killed...Silvia owes me a new Frank Slesh."

"Ah.." begins Slesh "best bring it up with up Silvia who is right there."

Sure enough Silvia appeared surrounded by her purple hazy sisters...and she had a physical form. One of a haunting breathtaking pale beauty only made more so by the pallor of death and possession.

"Slesh where are the vessels," questioned Silvia in a hauntingly rousing voice.

"High up in the trees with a view," she replied pointing upwards at the treetops.

"Ah a view of this?"

"Yup."

"Oh dear Slesh you have learned well," Silvia spoke proudly as the two hugged each other and despite the bone breaking grasp and now....oh hey there is pale white bone where previously there wasn't on Silvia. Goddamn talk about a fearsome hug that can kill from such a tiny cute package.

"This living one," began Silvia as she approached you. "Hm a real pretty one for a human...is this one your Slesh?"

"Nope."

"Oh Little Lady," began Silvia in utter shock.

"Yup."

"H-how can this be?"

"She...I don't know guess she finally found one she sorta liked that wasn't worth killing or something," answered Slesh shrugging. "Fuck if I know specifics Silvia its been awhile since life."

"Ah yes pity you cannot posses the living...the experience is most nice to taste the air, the rushing of emotion, the heartbeat...truly lovely."

"Look I like being undead unlike you."

"Hm...oh dear Frank died?"

"Yup and its one of your sisters's fault."

"Oh...wait I have a replacement for that one."

"But...but my sausages."

"Ah...no wait I think i have one that will do. Please say hello to Seren."

With that she waved someone over...who strode over in heavy armor before rising his at it turned out visor.

"Yes my Queen?"

"We are in company of trusted friends Seren," gently scolded Silvia.

"AH my bad mother."

"Mother," questioned Little Lady.

"Yes well sorta one of my vessels gave birth to him before it broke. I rather like him truth be told and he is such a big bad boy. He will replace your undead monster."

"Can he make sausage?"

"Better he is a chef."

"Really?"

"He is the best I can do. He is a sworn to the God Balizar and of my court."

"Fine guess he'll do."

"He is a talented necromancer and master of flesh both living and dead. He is an AMAZING chef," commented Silvia upon her departure.

There meanwhile Seren stood vigil...sorta awkwardly actually. THat was when the lady hugged Slesh.

"He ain't used to other living much is he?"

"No not really."

Followed by "You really weren't kidding about how weird that fucking kingdom is were you?"

"No not really."

You decided to be a good sport and asked Seren about his family.

"So Seren how is your uh family life like?"

Seren merely looked at you with his surprisingly eyes full of life.

"I have many siblings not all of same body but rather of same mother."

"I what?"

"Mother gave birth using different possessed vessels."

"So...different mothers?"

"No same. Just...different bodies but same vital spirit."

"Woah...that is fucking weird."

"Not as weird as offspring with same body and spirit mother but different fathers."

"You...you lost me."

"Same father."

That was when your adviser interrupted sparing the increasing annoy Seren and they made some words before she approached and spoke slowly to you.

"Saren as different mothers but same mommy."

"Oh okay..."

"He has same father but different daddies."

"Uh...okay weird I guess."

That was she shook her head and stated.

"Look if you can't understand the simple stuff and THEN don't about the stuff that makes the simple stuff look easy alright?"

"Yes..."

"Good."

"So wait who is his Father?"

"Vasidar Zikar," she responded as you prept for leaving.

That left you stunned....you actually knew who that was.

For you see...Vasidar Zikar...you fought that bastard on a number of occasions. Vasidar Zikar was one of the most wretched of warlords to ever exist. He was a damned Soldier Champion turned wanna be noble. Somehow he cheated death...over and over.

You fought his army once and ended up dueling him.

That was one of the very few occasions where you actually lost.

No one knew where Vasidar Zikar would sometimes find himself during down times or when he lost his lands...but now you knew.

That bastard...you still remember his sneering face as he stood over you his blade held high as it dropped down ready to cleave your head off your shoulders.

Only thing that saved you was the good timing of the barbarians whom you helped out on a few occasions arrived.

Rigar Vorca saved you with his screaming charge as he leaped at him smashing him out of the way.

You remembered Rigar you and him together fighting with that barbaric chieftain his forces and yours united drove his army back. Together you managed to drive fight him off.

Still to think Vasidar liked to chill in such an undead kingdom...you never heard of any dealings with undead and him. Shit he even rarely dealt in savages preferring disillusioned peasantry and the odd monster.

To find this out is....highly unexpected. No wonder no one could find him when he wasn't causing trouble.

While you were off in lala land apparently you made good time if the sudden skeletal trees were anything to go by in the otherwise devastated landscape. If you had to hazard a guess the only reason you knew you were still in the damned forest was the sorry excuse for trees remaining.

Eventually though you find yourself getting smacked on the head with a massive gauntlet...looks like the hulking brute is back.

"Listen and look," was the only things it said before pointing.

In front of you...was a field of bones and what appeared to be an large pit hoisting bones out. At first you weren't too bothered until abruptly the so called field of bones started to come alive forming a massive skeletal monstrousity.

"This one is Dave by the way he is a nice guy so long as you bring him a bone he'll let you past otherwise he'll kill you and take you for whatever your good for," explained Little Lady. Which kills you considering she actually makes even you feel rather short...got to figure out what she goes by so you decide it would be a good idea to ask the behemoth who was throwing a pile of bones at Dave.

"So...what does little lady actually go by and what do you yourself go by," you ask politely and he just looks at you.

"I go by Huey Behehu she is better known as Lady Alizametha Nezavi. Normally I would say you touch you die but well she can take care of herself more then well."

You...never heard of him but her last tame tickles the back of your mind something fierce...but you can't quite remember what it was about. "Ah wait why do you escort her around then?"

You notice that despite his dented helm and looking away you can tell he was staring at something in the past with glossy eyes. "She has terrible sense of direction, also" now he is looking back at you. "To protect others from her not the other way around." With that the hulking behemoth attempts to take point but ends up taking the long way skirting pass your adviser.

Before long and standing before a pile of bones with whom a jagged awkward skeleton made up of confusing bones was digging through there you were introduced to the Skeletal Alex.

As it approached you and stares at you with a flickering gaze with the unholy light flickering within its otherwise empty sockets.

"Hm...a wannabe warlord hm, rejected hero? Hm heard the Scourges say something about you huh? Wish to go the route of the Overlord or perhaps something else eh?"

You...weren't entirely sure how you were gonna answer that.

"You need to come to a decision soon otherwise it may very well be made for you. There are plenty of so called heroes and villains in these wartorn lands. Best figure out which you are," with that the skeletal being of mismatched bones stumbles away before finishing. "As in Win that way you be the hero. As in the histories the villains are always the losers. How you go about it however is a different story altogether one that many have the habit of forgetting...now where did that but that damned rock bone..."

"Oh how unusual he er she? Isn't much for talking had weird bit of advice if you can figure out how to ask properly easier said then done until you figure the secret. Not that I have yet to do so," comments Alizametha. "Anyway the way to the count...is lets see this here is a bone field in a patch of skeletal forest with the one operation. Eh I think we can find the Count at his Manor he prefers to avoid his castle not a big fan of it due to some disagreement or something."

"Hm little lady remember what the count said about his bats," spoke up one of the guards.

"OH yeah that shortcut...I don't have or see any bats though."

With that you can the Huey grunt before pointing out soon it will be nightfall and then all she'll need to do is make a call then.

"Oh yeah..."

So there you were resting up underneath the trees before as it got darker.

Sure enough to got dark as if by sudden and then the lady appeared suddenly and you hadn't even known she been gone.

"He is gonna give us a ride."

With that you heard before you saw the cloud of bats pushing towards you envloping you all within their beating wings and their odd chatter. Just as they had surrounded you though they broke up. Revealing an entirely new area.

One that was quite dark with only the silver lit leaves casting any light and the flickering lights of nearby villages or towns. You could hear screaming and twisted laughter in hot pursuit of it. The air...felt fresh yet had the odd aftertaste of death and ashes.

Around you meanwhile was the dark claws of forsaken forest and a dark unlit path a dark castle hanging above the trees. Down the path and toward the castle as well as yourself approached a hunched figure holding a lantern....the only source of good light nearby. What it revealed was desecrated forest floor and dark yet seemingly bleached stones within the path.

Eventually the hunched and robed figure made its way to you. There you could see gnarled clawed hands holding the lantern that was hanging from a staff. Once the figure made it near you and paused waiting as yours approached from the clearing where you were deposited.

Once everyone had arrived the guide slowly worked his way towards the castle. As you got closer and closer you noted how the castle loomed...and was mostly dark except for a few oddly sickening lights. There the guide continued onward up the path and through the maw of its gates.

The courtyard you found was competely empty besides a few carriages and the stables...not a sound arose from them or even a scent. At the doors though the guide paused and slowly rapped on the door.

Which then opened slowly and soundlessly there the guide stood the side and let you enter past. Once you entered you noted a few flickering candles and seemingly from nowhere a butler arrived and rendered serves.

And history is written by the Victors, after all. The Memor would be remembered as a prosperous, kind people if Market Garden had been completed.

Also you guys should scout out the bandits around here thoroughly, get their attention, and then dispatch a 'caravan of valuable goods' out with a moderate escort (so they have to deploy a sizeable force to be sure of capturing it).

Then you lure them/flee their attack into Dave. The caravan is full of bones so our forces pass just fine, but they have to deal with him. The escort forces circle around to make sure the bandits don't run, and in the meantime you dispatch your main forces to take out their camps while they're weak.

After the butler did his work and then showed you the way down a corridor...and into a room which was beholden with a feast but no guests.

At the head massive table though you noted there stood a nobleman on his seat and holding a silver chalice. After he noticed you entered he stood up though and flew back his arms in a massive greetings.

"Welcome my guests to my humble abode I knew you had quite the interesting trip no? So I do hope this lowly meal will help you recover from your tiring journey oh and your rooms should be made up shortly!"

With that the from what you guessed is the count and his utter overkill of a welcome with the feast and from the looks of it ever full drinks considering how Seren was trying and failing to knock them back approached the Lady for light conversation.

You meanwhile..were sorta lost with the massive feast mean for many many more people then just you, but sad down and prepared all the same. Still one hell of a selection though you must admit as you dived into it.

Still though the lack of lighting is rather...disconcerting. Eventually the Count finished his conversation and made his way slowly through the guides halting only for awhile when he ran into Huey, Seren, your adviser, and finally stopped before yourself.

"So you the sorry sap and soul his lost everything hm? Can't exactly say I been there but I knew few who were," commented the Count who sipped from his chalice that if you hadn't known better you would of said was a rich red wine. "Your...a weird one though never knew one the lady would take who didn't end up dead. Kudos to you for that by the way not even many monsters could pull that off. Loot you say? We don't know of any places rich in loot to be honest, we simply wanted to clear the forest for expansion, as well as reduce the monster presence so we could live in it, but it seems people such as yourself are already living here.

We still want to expand our power without displacing anyone or being a burden to you, so an alliance is apt that occupation. We can share resources the other has no use for.

>>37273297

"See this branch? If I were to snap it over my leg, twould be an easy thing to do. But see, if I take two of them and try it, becomes much more difficult. If I were to take 10 of them, it becomes impossible.

Strength comes from alliances and working together to achieve a common goal.

That is one of the things we are after.

The other is security, and security comes from power and expansion. If we were to expand alongside your borders, we would make both of us safer, and we would have more living room. By ridding ourselves of monsters, bandits, and other threats to us, we don't have to worry about them being so strong in the future.

We could also help you. There's also the chance we might provide fresh and voluntary blood for you. Think of the potential of a symbiotic relationship. We feed of the forest and produce blood, you drink the blood and help us grow.

The final thing we need, is a good fight. We have such a grand army, but without a common enemy uniting us our army is getting restless. We seek a good way to use them, and what better way than to fight the enemies of our friends, and expand our land in the process?"
>>
>>37273396
Yeah it is and I'm doing my best to make notes for later on this. We got a lot of names and insider details on the workings of the area.
>>
>>37273297
Speaking of the slaughter. Will you be needing the weapons and/or armer they where using? They are probably trash to you bug we can find use for them
>>

Still working on that basic map btw Genie?

I really want it badly. I can even fill in the gaps and help you with paint, just post what you have on the thread and how it should be
>>
Rolled 94 (1d100)

...I can't figure it out.

Sumopaint is shit.

I mean there is interesting stuff you can do with it but its no good if certain basics are missing.

He was commenting on stuff like war, politics, and things.

Your actually somewhat good with the ladies...just fucking clueless as all hell.

>>37273368
"Some undead would retort that but that is indeed true for vampires."

>>37273418
"So you wish to ally with vampires?"

>>37273449
"You would have to talk to Slesh about that though I believe the Merchant Zemo can help with that."

Speaking of blood. Are there any creatures that are a delicacy among your kind?
>>
>>37273572
We ally with any that can befit from peace. Together we forge a stronger alloy
>>
>>37273572
Drat. Well, I'll keep looking. . .

I really need that map, it makes it easier to know where shit is, and acts as a goal post for our civ, showing us how far we've progressed.
>>
>>37273572
>"So you wish to ally with vampires?"
"Does this seem strange to you? I hope in time it won't, because that is what we are after."
>>
>>37273572
How about this

http://zmyaro.com/apps/paintz/

it's very simple. If not too simple, but should get the job done of "color blobs indicating forest, river, garden, etc."
>>
>>37273572
How could of a drill could Zemo give us? There must be a surplus of supply
>>
Rolled 7 (1d100)

So what color do you want on the board?

Think I finally got it...

"Sapience and sentience...proper age and diet are also biggies."

>>37273673
"For the living...bit unusual yes...you tend to forge alliances through things like blood and marriage no? Then you are rather clueless in such matters...hopefully dhampyrs they are a pain."

"SO are the terms and expectations exactly with this alliance?"

>>37273779
"Drill? I suppose Zemo might have a couple though I do not know for sure. Zemo is a bit of an odd fellow."
>>
>>37273828
>So what color do you want on the board?
Whatever is the prevailing features. You know, green for grass, dark green for jungle, brown for wastes, simple stuff.

>"SO are the terms and expectations exactly with this alliance?"
"This we'll work out in finer detail soon, remember we are seeking expansion as well as military aid against common enemies, like bandits, monsters, and other such things which might harm us both in our forest, and in our home.

In exchange, we'll help you if you come under attack, and see if we can't offer any fresh blood."
>>
>>37273828
For the alliance there is the usual no killing eachother. Then there is the triad agreements and helping eachother out. You know stuff like that.

For preferred food. How do you feel about preserved centaur blood?

"Peace treaty in these lands?"

Not a peace treaty but more of a non aggression pact.

Yeah, think about it. We can do the things they can't do during the day, and they can fight for us at night.

Kindess begets kindess, friendship follows friendship, you have allowed us close to you, and so we wish to return the favor in turn.

Think about what we can accomplish, we live in the day, you live in the night, together anything is possible.

And as long as we're alive, you'll never have to worry about running out of food.

I'd say we save it for now, we might have a use for them later. Besides, I'd like to actually triumph over diplomancing for once by our own hand, it's been ages since we've done that.

There is probably a reason for that

anyway here is map.

Oh, wait you're still after that huh? I'll write some solid down soon.

Also, map YESSSS!
I presume the Jungle is the dark green. Is the golem garden too small to appear on the map?
>>
>>37274840
How's this for a start?

What we want:
A full military alliance. If one of us is attacked in the vicinity of another, we will come to each others aid. Before declaring war on anything or seeking another alliance, we will consult the other.

Shared borders and protection. We're planning to expand into the forest one day, if the elves have left a lot of room, we want to fill their place. Likewise, there's a lot of dangerous things in the forest, so we want help keeping us safe in it. We'll be good neighbors to each other, warning them of any danger that might come their way.

Likewise, we might also ask if some of our own undead could live in your borders, temporarily.

Nightime help. They work far better at night than we do, so we could use your help in such matters, especially in the forest.

What we offer:
The same terms above to be held. If we're in the forest, and you guys come under attack, we will come to help you.

Fresh blood, possibly by shuffling out people to bleed into jars or bowls.

Daytime labor. We'll work in the day, they work at night.

Can anyone else think of anything else?
>>
>>37275016
Oh also if we're under attack we'd like their help as well.

And can't forget the most important thing! Trade. We'll open up trade between us, offering to one what the other wants in exchange for what the other hase
>>
Man we will need to get more pop quickly or level up our troops. I also hope our mage units will be ready.

>>37275016
Ask the adviser if she would like to add anything, she should still be with us.

We could offer some of the undead gained from the Scourge ... maybe that could help.
>>
>>37275446
That too, we can offer that.
>>
Rolled 85 (1d100)

>>37275408
"We can handle all of that ourselves what you ask for is far too much with what you offer."
>>
... if only we had better understanding of golems we could offer troops that lack upkeep.

Probably best to start small and add things later. Once we prove we can handle basic trade of blood for help with the woods. Maybe add cheap protection when in need.

... I doubt this one will need money. Then there's what our troops can do, if they need dwarven alchemist and runesmiths.
>>
>>37275560
"This is truth, and we'd like to fix that. . ."

"I'd also like to ask but, how dp vampires reproduce? You spoke of vessels, and mentioned that bites can convert people. How often is it that you need more population?"
>>
>>37275649
Can always burn a fatepoint to get what they want for our terms.
>>
Rolled 95 (1d100)

>>37275651
"Not ever unlike most other vampires we keep our population sustainable. Granted finding worthy individuals can be tricky at times but its how we stay strong and safe."

"As I said before it depends upon the vampire when it comes to reproduction. For most it requires biting or bleeding are involved."
>>
>>37275670
From what I can tell the problem lies within their no need of us. We opened strong and made a chance we will have to give a bit of a one sided trade to make this work.

This is a old person who is jaded, I'm sure of it. We need to make their blood pump, we need to draw interest and we need to give a little more that what we ask. Otherwise this will not be worth their time.
>>
>>37275816
I know, it's a matter of figuring out what exactly we have to offer them.
Recruitment potential?
The ability to have a larger pop with more blood?
Gotta be something. . .

How much of a boon do we need to use for the adviser to have mind reading powers? If they could be undetectable that would be great.

>>37276188
... lets see offering blood for knowledge, even trade agreement, dwarven aid in booms ( as a sweetener ), having the Scourges drop some necrotic plague to boost things would be nice I bet, Offering to make a new town in the woods for both parties with some aid, Clearing of monsters ( sweetener), Housing for them if they come to our area and what else ...

Dire pig meat?
>>
Rolled 31 (1d100)

>>37276298
"Trade is not a problem."

>>37276302
A most potent boon will be required especially for one that is resistant to detection.

They have blood by the way.
>>
>>37276409
I assumed they would, I just hoped they would be willing to take it as a currency. Like water for goods or beer for something else.
>>
>>37276409
What if we told them that we know of the location of some things that are basically super elves?

Also
What is there biggest problem. The sun. We could tell them that with time and supply's we could make them liveing armor (baced off golem magic) that can sheald them from the sun and from fire.
>>
>>37276409
Wait! She is old and jaded. Not much emotions dwell in her. What if we offered her the most heart breaking picture book (a copy of the old golems journal) that can make even her long undead form swell with feels
>>
>>37276494
It's gotta be something we can give them immediately though.

These people are immortal self sufficient and proud nobles who practice self sustainability. The most difficult of persons to get something from is the man who has everything.
>>
>>37276532
But the book belongs there tho!. . .also we promised to keep the garden a secret didn't we?

Maybe they can help us protect it.
>>
>>37276532
The book might need to be edited to remove any indication of the golems location and other info we don't want to tempt them in to taking the golem magic for there own
>>
>>37276578
It's a copy of the book that we will give them. And we might change it to be tree golems to keep the real golems secret

Well...sorta I suppose. Kinda hard to cover up what your doing when your just that strong though...there are some other heroes who could pull it off.

Jenny/She Who Hungers probably could if she tapped into the global zombie hungermind and concentrated on a single target.

But that would probably kill them too, like what happened to the bloodsnows zombie minder.

Ok here we go
"Well... Hmmm. Ok here me out on this. It's a long shot but I have a feeling you might be interested.
So my men have been complaining that they never get to practice this odd wrestling fighting... Thing. I don't care for wrestling my self I prefer dueling. I don't know much about what they are talking about but it involves a lot of grappling, pinning, and apparently pounding. From the way that talk about it they really seen to be passionate about it. I think it's called fæçkíñg or something like that.
Oh you heard of it? Great... Why are you looking at me like that...?
Well any way as a gift to my men I'm planing on making a nice building dedicated to the art of fæçkíñg reel soon, so they can practice and have lots of fun.
I bring it up because with all the strange and interesting creatures I have in my army ranging from reincarnating fox people to even a centaur; fæçkíñg wrestling them would probably be really fun and interesting.
If you agree to this treaty then you and yours can wrestle there when ever you want as often as you want."
