This is a continuation of the alternate timeline from last thread. So far, you and Gohan have travelled to Amenbo Island and found your friends dead. Gohan became a Super Saiyan, and the two of you tracked the killers to South City. You both nearly died.

Just in time

So we will probably get ganked by Cell in this timeline after we train up to beat 17 and 18.

"Gohan, are you alright?" you ask.

Gohan stares at you, then slowly shakes his head. "I won't be until we take those monsters down."

"I didn't see the fight, but it looked like you guys got your butts kicked," Billy tells him.

"Yeah, you guys are crazy if you're going to go running after the people that were able to do something like this to you," Kazuma adds.

They're probably right, but you know in your heart that you won't let this go. You'll find the monsters who killed your friends and almost killed you, and you'll make them pay.

But, first thing's first, you need to go check up on your parents.

Breaking into a run, you leap off the side of the Lookout.

"Where are you going?" Gohan shouts.

"Home," you reply, speeding off towards your farm.

It takes only a short flight for you to reach home, and you feel a pang in your chest as you remember that Nappa won't be there. Still, you can sense your parents inside, and them being alive is definitely a good thing.

For once, they don't rush out to greet you when you arrive. This strikes you as odd, but perhaps they just didn't realize you're here.

You go inside to see what your parents are doing, finding them in front of the TV, their eyes glued to the screen.

Taking a look, you see that a news report is what has their attention. You watch as the reporter cowers in an alleyway, flashes of light illuminating the sky behind him. And, you're not sure if the cameraman just has shaky hands, but you think the ground is shaking.

"The two terrorists arrived in West City just moments ago and have already reduced several blocks to rubble!" he shouts. "I believe it is likely that these two are responsible or at least connected to the destruction of South City and Sasebo! Everywhere you look, terrified people are running for cover, desperately trying to escape with their lives!"

He nervously glances behind himself before looking back at the camera.

"We are going to attempt to get footage of the attackers," he announces nervously. "Stay with us as we brave these deadly streets to capture the identity of these ruthless killers!"

"Now, there's no need to go looking for us, we'll come to you," the man you fought before says as he lands behind the reporter.

The terrified man spins to face the unexpected guest and takes a frightened step back. An instant later, he is killed with a palm-strike to the face, and as he falls to the ground, his killer takes his microphone.

"Eighteen, would you mind making sure the camera stays on me?" he asks.

"Fine," a feminine voice says from off-camera.

The man smirks and holds up the microphone.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen, I'm Android 17," he announces. "My sister, Number 18 and I just wanted to wish you luck in our worldwide game of hide and seek. Trust me, you don't want to be found."

He drops the mic. "Alright, Eighteen, show's over."

You hear a quick scream before the camera drops to the ground.

They turn around in shock, so absorbed in the broadcast that they hadn't realized you were there.

Your mother shakes her head. "We aren't leaving our home. If the Androids destroy it, well, they'll just have to destroy us too."

"Your friend's parents feel the same way," your father tells you. "So, don't try to convince them to leave, either."

"Besides, it seems like these two are attacking cities," your mom points out. "They'll spent a lot of time destroying those before they come hunting for small groups of farmers out in the country."

You can tell that you won't convince them to leave.

"I love you both," you tell them.

Your mother gives you a big hug. "We love you, too."

Your father puts a hand on your shoulder. "And we're proud of you."

Your mother looks into your eyes, some fear, but also a great deal of pride shining in her own.

"You'll be going after the Androids, won't you?" she asks.

"You probably don't have much time," your mom tells you sadly. "Three cities have been destroyed in a few hours. Whatever you plan to do, I hope you can do it quickly."

"Good luck, Kaguya," your father tells you, doing his best to keep on a brave face.

Your parents have accepted by now the fact that, whenever there is danger, you're going to be throwing yourself in the middle of it. They don't like it. After all, what parent likes seeing their child going into deadly situations? But, they're proud of you for doing what you do.

Telling them that you love them one last time, and taking a radio to keep track of the Androids, you leave home and make your way back to the Lookout. On the way there, you remember the Fruit of the Tree of Might you claimed from the Saiyan Turles years ago. You never used it, and have kept it on the Lookout for years. Maybe now is the time to use it?

Landing on the Lookout, you find your friends all sparring one another. Haya spars Gohan, while Billy and Kazuma face off. Kazuma and Billy are pretty evenly matched, but it's clear that Haya is out of her league, even with Gohan fighting in his normal state.

"Gohan, I need to talk to you," you say.

Gohan nods, walking over to you. You tell him that the two of you need to find Mr. Popo, and he informs you that Popo is at the top of the building on the Lookout. The two of you quickly make your way there, finding the caretaker observing your friends, who have resumed their sparring.

"Kaguya, Gohan, is there something you need?" he asks without turning to face you.

As you and Gohan emerge from the chamber, you find your friends gathered around, eyeing the two of you curiously.

"So, how did the training go?" Haya asks.

Truth be told, it went pretty fantastic. Both you and Gohan have reached incredible levels of strength now, making the power you had before look pitiful by comparison. Gohan is still weaker than you are, but that gap is much smaller than it used to be.

She gives you a suspicious look, likely guessing that you're trying to keep her out of danger while you and Gohan confront the Androids. Still, she doesn't argue.

"Fine, but if you get yourself killed I'm going to kick your butt," she tells you. "Come on, Kazuma."

As the pair enter the chamber, you look to Mister Popo, asking him for the fruit. He hands it to you, and you immediately offer it to Gohan. After a small amount of protesting on his part, Gohan eats the fruit, and you ask Popo where the Androids are.

"Apparently in North City," he tells you.

"Well then, let's go," Gohan says, rushing past you and heading outside.

Without much other choice, you follow. The two of you leap off the Lookout and make your way to North City, finding it under attack just as Popo claimed. Androids 17 and 18 stand in a desolated City Square, firing blasts of energy all around themselves, obliterating buildings, cars, people, and animals alike.

With a yell, Gohan transforms into a Super Saiyan and charges, surprising Android 17 and kicking him into a nearby building, which collapses on top of him.

With 18 focused on your friend, you take the opportunity to swoop in and copy his move, kicking her through a nearby building. Like the one 17 crashed into, it collapses on top of her.

You and Gohan hover side by side as the two Androids rise from the rubble, their clothing torn and their expressions hateful.

"Well, that was a very nice entrance," 17 comments.

"Too bad you won't be making nearly as memorable an exit," 18 says.

The two raise their hands towards you and Gohan, firing a barrage of energy attacks up at you. You and your friend quickly dive to evade the blasts, but halt as 17 and 18 charge.

You block a kick from 18 and punch her in the side of the head, sending her flying towards her brother, who ducks beneath her as he blasts Gohan away, raising his other hand and firing an energy wave in your direction.

17 leaps above you, gathering energy into two balls as he looks down at you. Before he can throw them, Gohan attacks from the side, kicking him in the head and knocking him away.

As Gohan gathers energy to attack 17, 18 hits him in the back with an energy blast, knocking him out of the sky as she gains altitude. You raise your right hand and point your index finger at her.

"DODON RAY!" you shout.

18 leans her head to the side, letting your attack zip right past her ear as she fires an energy wave down at you. You leap to avoid it, only for 17 to appear out of nowhere and kick the side of your head, knocking you into the distance. As you sail through the sky, 18 appears above you, and sends you crashing to the ground with a palm strike.

As 17 and 18 hover above you, a large beam of energy shoots from the ground and strikes 17. 18 fires a volley of blasts down at the source, and you see Gohan leap into the air and charge the Androids.

As the Androids block and evade Gohan's strikes and begin to quickly turn the tables on him, you get to your feet and charge, joining in the melee. Your initial attack catches your foes by surprises, letting you land a solid punch on 17 that knocks him away. You follow with a kick that knocks him down into the streets and fly in pursuit.

17 rights himself and begins flying backwards over the streets. As you follow, you shoots a pair of powerful energy blasts at your opponent. He holds his arms out and lets out a yell, creating a barrier of energy that absorbs the blast. You keep charging, and he drops the barrier, blocking your next attack and kicking you through a nearby building and sending you falling to the street.

Looking up, you see 17 standing atop the building, smirking down at you. He raises his right hand and shoots a ball of energy from his palm. You roll to the side and leap to the air to avoid the attack, knocking the next one aside as you decide what to do next.

With 17 distracted, you quickly move to regroup with Gohan. Clearly, this fight is not going well, and you have the feeling something's happening that you didn't account for. Unfortunately, when you find Gohan, you see that things are not going well.

Gohan struggles to block or evade every attack 18 makes, but the Android seems to effortlessly stop every attack Gohan throws in her direction. And you suspect she's holding back. You also suspect she won't toy with him for long.

As you watch, she brings her knee up into Gohan's gut, then grabs him by the hair and holds him out on front of her. As she begins slapping him repeatedly across the face, you charge, firing an energy wave.

Android 18 drops Gohan in surprise, turning and taking the blast full force. As your enemy is knocked away, you move to your friend, who manages to keep himself in the air. He looks exhausted, and he's taken some nasty hits. You're pretty injured yourself, and you aren't sure how long you can keep fighting.

I think Kaguya's probably on equal footing with one of the Androids, but the issue is that they don't tire out, so while our power level slowly drops theirs stays the exact same.

If it was a 1-on-1 fight, I think Kaguya can pull it out, but not with it being a 2v2. We basically need to overpower them within the first couple minutes of the fight, before they outlast us.

You and Gohan quickly begin to plummet, but manage to stop yourselves from crashing to the ground. Unfortunately, you don't have time to do much else before the Androids throw more energy attacks your way.

The two of you create energy barriers to block the attacks, but they don't do much, and you feel horrible pain as you are struck.

Meanwhile, the third you, which had been fleeing, quickly splits himself into five copies. Two fly off in opposite directions while two more kick up a cloud of dust.

The Androids simply fly over it and quickly kill the two fleeing copies with energy blasts before firing more blasts into the dust cloud, obliterating your two copies and sending you tumbling through the air. Quickly recovering, you begin fleeing again, but the Androids quickly follow.

Turning around, you raise your hands in front of your face.

"SOLAR FLARE!" you shout, creating a blinding flash of light.

18 is disoriented, but 17, familiar with the technique now, averts his gaze, quickly firing an energy blast that strikes you in the chest. He follows up with a few more that send you crashing to the ground.

As you look up, 17 and 18 hover above you, hands held down towards you. The last sight you see is energy blasts raining down upon you, bringing your life to a quick, but extremely painful end.
