When I close my eyes, images of me frying that Leo guy flash through my mind. It was by far the most horrible thing I've ever seen, and I still feel sick even thinking about it. But, well... I'd do it again in a heartbeat were I put in that situation again. He was trying to kill Charlotte, and that was the only way to make sure he couldn't...

Magazine size is ALREADY restricted in the US. You cannot get magazines above certain capacities, depending on what state you are in. Not that it really matters. When you use magazines with above 15 rounds or so, you are FAAAAAARR more prone to jamming and weapon malfunctions.

Not really. It is far harder to protect your home with a bolt action rifle than with a handgun. It also makes sport shooting virtually impossible. And you can't hunt many things you normally would, like boar. Because without a handgun in addition to a rifle, you stand a good chance of getting gored. Plus you can't conceal carry or open carry a rifle all the time. I mean you COULD and people do, but it's weird and frowned upon. Ergo less muggings and rapes being stopped.

Fairly sure if someone pulls a gun on you that you wont be able to freeze time, process what is happening, draw aim and fire your weapon fast enough to not just get shot.
