A fight like this could be very dangerous if the two Saiyans let it get out of hand. And, knowing Vegeta, they probably will.

You take to the skies and make your way over as fast as you can, finding the pair locked in fierce combat. Nappa attacks with a furious series of strikes that forces Vegeta onto the defensive, but the small Saiyan uses his speed to keep his foe from landing a single solid hit.

The two break apart and come to ground, glaring daggers at one another as they gather energy for another round.

"Just throw in the towel already, Nappa," Vegeta suggests. "You're too slow to even come close to hitting me. And I don't feel like playing a game of tag without a real opponent."

Nappa grins, and quickly moves behind Vegeta, so fast that the Saiyan prince doesn't even realize it until it's too late. Vegeta turns just in time to get an elbow to the face, causing him to stagger backward.

Letting out a yell, Vegeta retaliates by slamming his fist into Nappa's gut, which Nappa answers by backhanding Vegeta. Vegeta spins and elbows Nappa in the face and Nappa knees Vegeta in the jaw.

Each of them step back, blood running from their lips as they stare at each other.

You stay where you are, watching as the pair of Saiyans continue to stare one another down. Neither one of them is seriously hurt yet, of have expended much energy, and their power levels are pretty much exactly equal to one another.

Vegeta chuckles. "Well, it seems I misjudged you, Nappa. You're a faster than I'd expected. It seems your training hasn't been a total waste after all."

He drops into a fighting stance. "But, it doesn't matter. Even with your strength and speed as great as they are, you don't stand a chance. I've always been the better fighter, Nappa. You've always relied purely on brute force, while I have no such foolish tendencies."

"You mean besides constantly running your mouth?" Nappa asks.

Vegeta scowls, appearing in front of Nappa and delivering a strong punch to the side of his face, following it with a spin kick to the same spot.

Vegeta lands as Nappa staggers away, gathering energy and holding his palms towards his disoriented foe.

"This ends now!" Vegeta shouts, shooting a colossal wave of energy at Nappa, who lets out a shocked yell as the blast consumes him, causing the ground to shake as it detonates in a bright flash of light.

"Hmph, you've always been far too careless, Nappa," Vegeta comments as smoke rises from the spot his fellow Saiyan stood upon moments ago.

Vegeta lets out a shocked cry as Nappa brings his elbow down onto the back of his head, knocking him flat on the ground.

"Look who's careless now," Nappa comments, holding out his right hand and gathering energy before throwing it at Vegeta, creating a massive crater and a gigantic explosion.

Nappa growls and looks into the sky as the smoke clears and Vegeta appears in the air.

"Stay out of this, brat!" Vegeta yells at you.

"Hey, you're fighting me!" Nappa reminds him.

Vegeta laughs. "If you can call it a fight. I've barely even warmed up yet."

Nappa grins and opens his mouth wide, firing a massive wave of energy up at Vegeta, who dodges it effortlessly, smirking down at him. Nappa follows by gathering energy into each hand, and throwing it up at Vegeta, who once again dodges.

Taking to the air, Nappa charges up at Vegeta, throwing a punch that the Saiyan prince dodges, kicking his larger foe in the gut.

Nappa spits out blood and brings his elbow down on Vegeta's head, sending him plummeting to the ground. Vegeta manages to land on his feet, looking up to see Nappa charging down at him.

Leaping back, Vegeta avoids a punch that Nappa throws, the larger warrior slamming his fist into the ground as his attack misses. Vegeta retaliates with a kick to the jaw that knocks Nappa back, and gathers energy into his right hand, punching Nappa in the gut and unleashing it, throwing his opponent into the sky.

Vegeta cups his hands at his side, and the ground begins to shake as he gathers energy, a purple glow appearing in his palms.

"Gallick Gun Fire!" he screams, thrusting his hands towards Nappa and unleashing a massive wave of purple energy on his airborne enemy.

Nappa recovers, and his eyes widen as he sees what's coming for him. You see him quickly raise his arms before the attack strikes him, sending out a blast of energy that causes nearby rock formations to crumble as it explodes.

"See you in Hell, Nappa," Vegeta declares, taking a moment to catch his breath.

As the smoke clears, you see that Nappa is very much alive, though chunks his armor are gone, and scorch marks cover his body.

"We'll see about that," Nappa tells him, slowly lowering himself to the ground.

He brings his hands to his sides, clenching them into fists and letting out a loud yell as he begins to gather energy.

The sky above you grows dark, and rolling thunder booms all around you. The ground trembles, the wind howls, and Nappa's power continues to rise.

Vegeta remains unimpressed, and you realize that the two of them haven't been fighting at full power so far.

A bolt of lightning streaks from the sky, striking Nappa and causing electricity to dance along his skin. Laughing, he charges, bringing his fist to Vegeta's gut before pummeling him with a series of strikes that forces him back step by step.

Vegeta finally catches a punch and lets out a yell, leaping and kicking at Nappa's face, only for the strike to be blocked. Nappa spins, throwing Vegeta into the air and having him land a few feet away. Nappa quickly gathers energy and throws a blast at Vegeta, who yells and swats it into the sky before retaliating with a quick blast that strikes Nappa in the face.

Vegeta rushes forward and uppercuts Nappa in the jaw, only to be grabbed by his face and slammed onto his back. He kicks Nappa in the chest, pushing him back and forcing him to release his grip.

Nappa staggers back as Vegeta leaps to his feet, and the two charge, locking palms and pushing against each other, each yelling in exertion as light flashes around them, and the ground beneath them begins to sink into a crater, one that grows larger by the second.

You stand back, letting the two warriors continue to fight uninterrupted.

They continue to yell as they push against one another, their energy spiking as they desperately fight for dominance in this struggle. Flashes of light continue to appear around them, though they seem entirely unaware, too focused on each other to worry about anything else.

A large ball of light forms between them, exploding in a brilliant flash as they each leap back to opposite sides of the crater, breathing heavily.

Vegeta brings back his right hand, and Nappa does the same, the two of them shooting blasts of energy at one another at the same time. Neither one makes any effort to dodge, and so both attacks hit their marks, exploding as they strike their targets.

The two Saiyans rush from their dust clouds, arms slamming together as each warrior strikes with one elbow, and blocks with the other arm. They break apart and collide again further in the air, each collision causing the ground to shake and a powerful gust of wind to blow.

They break apart again, and this time, Vegeta quickly gathers energy into the palms of his hands, firing a barrage of blasts at Nappa, who raises his arms to block, not dodging as each attack slams into him, creating a smoke cloud as they detonate.

Vegeta screams in rage as he continues to hurl ball after ball of energy at his foe, who continues to do nothing but raise his arms as he weathers the onslaught. Raising his hands above his head, he brings them down and unleashes a large wave at Nappa, who, once again makes no effort to dodge.

Vegeta catches his breath, watching the cloud of smoke his blasts have created. Suddenly, a beam of energy explodes from the cloud and strikes Vegeta full force, knocking him out of the sky.

You continue to watch from your current position, and see Nappa rush down from the sky towards Vegeta, who leaps to his feet and rushes up to meet him.

Vegeta punches Nappa in the face, and Nappa kicks him in the jaw. Vegeta moves back and lands on the ground, while Nappa lands in front of him.

Vegeta yells and slams his fist into Nappa's gut, and Nappa hunches over, spitting blood before letting out a yell and retaliating by slamming his fist into Vegeta's. Vegeta gasps and spits blood before repeating the action on Nappa.

The two Saiyans stay where they are, taking turns punching each other in the gut, neither one backing down despite the clear amount of pain the other is causing them. Finally, the punch each other at the same time, each one shooting an energy blast into the other's chest and causing them to move back.

The two struggle to catch their breath as the glare at each other. Then, a smile works its way onto Nappa's face, and he begins to laugh.

"And just what is so funny, Nappa?" Vegeta demands.

"Haha, the kid was right, we are evenly matched!" Nappa tells him. "But I have one advantage you don't."

Vegeta chuckles. "Really? Then please, enlighten me."

"Oh, it should be obvious," Nappa tells him, "But let me give you a hint!"

He turns a palm skyward, and a small ball of light appears, hovering over it. Vegeta lets out a gasp and clenches his hands into fists, trembling with either rage or fear as he watches Nappa.

"That's right Vegeta, now, say goodbye!" he yells, throwing the ball of light into the sky.

"No, damn you!" Vegeta shouts.

Vegeta throws back his head, laughing. "That's right, brat, I remember. And, I also remember how I lost."

He quickly moves behind Nappa, seizing his tail and cutting through it with a thin beam of energy. Nappa lets out a shocked cry as Vegeta removes the appendage, holding it up with a smirk before throwing it into the air, incinerating it with another blast.

"There, now we're on the same playing field," Vegeta comments, smirking.

You're starting to get very angry, but before you go off, you decide that it's probably best to make sure you friend is alright.

"Nappa, are you-" you start, turning towards him, only to stop talking and stare.

Nappa is trembling with rage, more than you've ever seen from him. The ground beneath him shakes, and you could swear his aura turns golden for an instant. His eyes briefly flash green, and his mustache and eyebrows turn blonde.

Vegeta takes a step back. "No, it can't be..."

The shaking of the ground becomes worse, and Nappa begins to let out a yell, his eyes becoming green once again, his mustache and eyebrows turning blonde, and his aura becoming gold.

The ground collapses beneath him, and he floats over a pit, his power level skyrocketing, doubling, tripling, quadrupling, and continuing to rise.

"No! It's impossible!" Vegeta yells.

Nappa's power continues to rise, and you suddenly realize just what's happening. His power climbs higher, and higher, until it surpasses even yours, and continues growing.

"No!" Vegeta screams, taking off and flying into the distance.

Nappa lets out a final yell, and a nearby rock formation shatters as his power stops climbing. He continues to tremble, staring down at his hands.

There's also the issue of time paradox as now that we know of Future Trunks we are sort of incentived into having Vegeta and Bulma hook up, as it leads to the eventual birth of another Super Saiyan, and someone that is slightly more reasonable than his father.

You take a few steps back from Nappa, bringing your hands to your sides and clenching them into fists. You take a deep breath, and begin gathering energy. The ground trembles once more as your power rises, the wind picking up as you let out a yell, quickly pulling your true strength to the surface.

It climbs quickly, soon reaching its peak, a level about three quarters of Nappa's. He continues to grin as you power up, clearly looking forward to the match.

His power is significantly higher than yours, but he's also clearly tired from his battle with Vegeta. You have a chance of victory.

You charge Nappa head on, only to have him vanish before your eyes, appearing behind you and kicking you in the back, throwing your forward and sending you face-first to the ground.

You quickly get back to your feet and charge, attacking with a series of punches and kicks that Nappa easily blocks, standing his ground as you switch your attacks, striking from different angles. He blocks each attack before grabbing your fist and spinning, lightly throwing you away.

You land on your feet and stare at your opponent, who grins in your direction, clearly enjoying himself.

I also wonder if a sense of death aids in our power surge, as that (along with our desire to stop Frieza and multiform abuse) is what let us grow so strong so fast.

You refuse to let Nappa win this easily, and you continue to push against him, your power level rising to meet the challenge as you pour more and more of your energy into the attack.

"That's it! That's more like it!" Nappa shouts, still keeping rooted in place and holding back your blast.

Your power continues to rise, and you feel that you've passed Trunks in strength. Still, Nappa seems to be having very little trouble keeping you at bay.
