As they descend one by one to challenge Seventeen (save Krillin, who stands back), you rush at Eighteen, throwing a series of punches and picks that she blocks, seemingly with no effort.

Vegeta rises to his feet and prepares to attack Eighteen, only for her to kick back, catching him in the face and sending him crashing to the ground where he falls unconscious.

The others do little better, with Seventeen putting Piccolo down with a strike to the chest, knocking Kazuma and Billy out with a single punch each, sending Nappa off into the distance with a quick energy blast, and sending Gohan crashing into a nearby lake.

With how effortlessly Seventeen defeated your friends, you suddenly get a terrible feeling that Eighteen is toying with you. She seems to not be having any trouble at all blocking your attacks, and she defeated Vegeta with very little effort already.

Well, based upon how easily she took care of Vegeta, it's probably safe to say that they are all in the 400-500 mil range in terms of power level.

You continue attacking Eighteen, throwing punches and kicks faster than most people, even many of your friends, could keep track of. Still, the Android continues to block every last attack you throw at her, smirking at your efforts to breach her defenses.

Your power level rises with each strike you make, but Eighteen seems to be blocking your attacks just as easily, regardless.

You notice Krillin staring at the fight, terror on his face as you try with all of your might to defeat the powerful Android.

"Krillin, I know she's pretty, but she wants to kill Goku!" you shout to your friend. "Stop staring and help!"

"It wont make a difference," Eighteen tells you, catching one of your punches. "Nice try, kid, but I think it's time to end this."

The next thing you know, Eighteen pulls you in, and everything goes dark.

You wake up feeling completely refreshed, and figure that Krillin must have given you a Senzu Bean.

Getting to your feet, you look around and see that all of the others are up as well, and that Haya and Tien have arrived.

Haya, who you could have sworn was wearing a look of panic a moment ago, seems to relax when she looks at you.

Nappa, Vegeta, and Piccolo all look furious, defeat evidently not sitting well with them.

If Piccolo is going to fuse with Kami, then your mentor will simply be gone. You try not to think about it as you move through the sky, but you feel as though many things are going to change, and not necessarily for the better.

Tien decides to break it.

Tien stops mid-flight, and Haya nearly shoots right past him, stopping herself quickly.

"What is it?" she asks.

"Look, it's okay to admit you're afraid," he tells her.

"Come on, kid, I'm not blind. I have three eyes," he tells her.

"Must suck if you need glasses," she replies.

"Look, this was your first real fight, and you got hurt real bad, it's natural to feel scared after something like that," he tells her.

"Well I've worked really hard, and it still isn't enough," she says dejectedly.

"Then keep trying," Tien tells her. "If you couldn't win today's fight, just train until you're ready for the fight tomorrow. And don't ever stop trying. Courage isn't rushing into a fight you know you'll win, it's facing a battle you're pretty sure you can't. And courage doesn't mean being fearless, it means going on when you're afraid."

Seventeen's eyes scan the room as the pod that has confined him for so long opens up for the first time in quite a while.

Stepping out, Seventeen glances over to see his sister stepping from her own pod. The two of them lock eyes, nodding before taking a look around the room.

"I don't see Doctor Gero anywhere," Seventeen comments. "Where do you suppose he is?"

"Maybe old age finally caught up with him," Eighteen suggests.

"Too bad, I was hoping to be the one to kill him," Seventeen says with a sigh.

"I'm just glad we don't have to listen to him anymore," Eighteen tells him. "What do you say we get out of here?"

"Sounds good," Seventeen replies. "But, what's that?"

He points to a large pod on the other side of the lab. Eighteen approaches it and looks down.

"Number Sixteen," she comments. "What do you say we wake him up?"

"Sounds good," Seventeen says. "He must hate being cooped up in there."

Moments later, the trio of Red Ribbon Androids depart from the lab, with Seventeen and Eighteen blasting it to atoms as they leave it behind.
