Here's some spells for you to use, Tali.

1. Generic energy draw in an AOE, recharges you. For now, it's effective to counter your glamour's drain, but it may draw power from it. Practice juggling the two spells first. Needs to be adjusted with the mana rune probably. The exclusions in it are designed to prevent a reversal of the energy draw, an average decrease (by putting more energy into the spell then you gain through it), triggering itself into an infinite spiral (we don't want that!), overloading yourself with energy to death (sleep deprivation death, heart failure), and by people tracing you through the spell and dropping a fireball on your head. It may also proc instinctively to you accidentally trying to kill yourself with your own spell or in response to vampires. I wouldn't test that part.

2. Spell two is for fun! Cast it on Anita when she gets overly excited over an artifact. Or fuwa.

3. Should be a spell that can re-direct targets of other things, may or may not work. Like punches. Or spells. Or hugs.

What you lot really need to do is map out the building and start figuring out security and wards. Some sort of blueprint. If everyone assumes this is a love affair it'd be easy to have "random" meetings that went on for awhile.

There's no trigger line. All the lines are simple.

The left rune looks like it might be "gold", but the inner circle is much larger than the gold rune that we know. Or it could just be "invoke".

The second rune is "self (as fuel)", pretty simple.

The third rune... it looks like it's surrounded by the four elemental runes, but those little unconnected lines might mean something different. I'm not sure about the stuff inside; part of it looks like "Convert" but it's at the wrong angle.

Okay, it looks like it won't be easy to get to that book. We'll need to do extensive research to create a plausible excuse.

As for the mana-draining trap, it appears to be a one-off thing rather than a "no spells can be used in here" effect. It might be possible to bypass it by rolling a mana gem into the field, then transferring mana into the gem, and using it to power your spells once you step in. We'll need to do a lot of practice to get that right, though.
