You appear down on Level 6, hidden in an alleyway, down at the end, linking to one of the main roads you can hear the sounds of yelling and fighting, seems you came down almost on top of the riot. At the end of the alley you can see glimpses of a mob. Going out there would mean you’d just get drawn into it.

Still, a nearby fire escape gives you an idea...

You look down on the riot from atop the roof of a six-story building. The melee is spread out over several streets but it looks like the worst is over, the police have all the fighters surrounded and are pushing at them from multiple directions, forcing them into one big knot and firing stun grenades at them as the solid shield wall of police in riot gear advances. You can’t spot Yonsul, but you can’t spot any downed or seriously injured cops either, you keep watching, hoping for a glimpse of her.

This melee appears mostly over. Its then that you realise you’re not alone on this rooftop.

You see a hunched over man wearing a trenchcoat that you initially mistook for a statue, squatting right at the edge of the roof, looking down at the riot.

He looks over at you, only a few metres away and offers you a cigarette. You shake your head.

It’s too early, and despite feeling unexpectedly energised you probably still need to sleep. You sneak into Rainyas room and slip into her bed, cuddling up to her.

“MmmmShee?” she mumbles, rousing from her slumber.

“It’s me” you reassure her “thought you might wants some company.”

“Mmmyes” she says, opening her arms and hugging you close. Your tentacles wrap around her and you kiss her check, but she is already asleep. You lie there in her arms and doze for a few hours before both of you wake up.

“Shee?” says Rainya as she wakes up “Is that really you, I had a dream that you died.”

“I’m fine” you reassure her “And how’re you dreaming? Did you forget to take your pills?”

“Uh, maybe” she says guiltily, then kisses you lightly on the lips “forgive me?”

“Of course but-” your objection is cut off by Rainyas second kiss, deeper and longer than the first.

“Well now” she says, moving so that she straddles you and kissing you again, pressing her body fully up against yours “why are you sneaking into my bed huh Shee, reconsidering the whole *date first* thing are you?”

“I-” You don’t get very far as soon one Rainya is joined by another, and then another, all three pressing up against you and kissing you.

There’s a knock at your door, startling you both and spoiling the moment “Rainya, breakfast is ready” you hear Dev say.

You look at each other “Something always happens” says Rainya in a frustrated voice “C’mon Shee, we best get up now.”
