I smile, well that's one thing settled I guess. I turn off my phone and stick it into my pocket. Should I put on some nicer clothes or...ah forget it, Charlotte's probably already there waiting for, so I should just try and hurry there.

I walk out the front door and close it behind me, putting my hands in my pocket as I walk down the street, trying to keep the sun out of my eye as I avoid sprinklers and a pack of brave little puppies.

I keep walking, trying my best to hurry with legs that seem like they're trying to fuse with the ground as I walk along. I eventually make it to the diner and walk in and look around, I see Charlotte waving at me, smiling happily, already sitting at a table.

I turn and look at her, the light from the windows falling on her as she holds her head in her hands, smiling happily as she always does, her green eyes staring at me curiously and excitedly as she waits for what I'm going to say patiently.

I let her go, and she sits back down on her side of the table, blushing slightly as she brushes one of her twintails away.

I reach over and grab her menu and begin to look through it, since I actually think I could go for some fries and a nice cold strawberry shake, I smile and kick my legs gently as I resist the urge to shout with joy as I hand Charlotte back the menu. The waitress comes along and looks at Charlotte, holding a note pad in her hand.

"Just a large fry special" She says "I'll have some water and"

"Strawberry milkshake" I say. The waitress nods and walks away writing on her pad.

"So" She says, sounding a bit nervous "We're a thing now then?"

The waitress comes back a few minutes later with a large platter of fries, covered in cheese, peppers, mushrooms, a lot of sauces all mixing together and some bits of meat and sour cream.
We eat it together, and I listen to charlotte as she talks about how she once had to fight a foolish wolf off with a garbage can lid. we end up eating about half of all the stuff on the place, before we both get full.

We walk out of the diner.

Charlotte's clothes begin to melt away, before the suddenly turn into a cloud of sparks that swirl around her, slowly forming her yellow and green cat suit as her few pieces of armor fit into place as she holds her arms out and catches her swords.

I grab my staff and spin it around, nearly hitting myself in the head as I do so.

"Got a bit distracted did ya?" Charlotte asks posing, holding her hands behind her head as she puffs out her chest.

I smile and she laughs.

"Well then we're should start looking then?" Charlotte asks

My locket begins to tremble and shake

"Oh speak of the devil" She says pulling her sabers from their sheathes "oh you had to have set this up some how Elizabeth"

"Yeah I just payed some monsters to attack us, you know need to make it memorable day" I say flatly.

"MONSTER DETECTED!" the lockets shout.

"COMET BEAM" I shout pointing my staff at the thing.

a light blue light gathers at the end of my staff and quickly glows in intensity as the thing leaps towards me, laughing and sobbing madly as the bells on its legs and hands begin to jingle.
It makes a sound like a balloon popping as the beam of bright blue light slams into its chest and pushes it back as Ice begins to form over it as it screams in pain.

It hits the ground with a thud.

Its head turns around with a crunch noise and it leaps back up, glaring angrily at me as two large and rusted blades force there way out of its arms with a noise like leather being cut.

"EMERALD SPLASH" Charlotte shouts swiping her saber in upwards, a wave of acid melting through the metal blade that comes swing at her, before the clown comes leaping at her laughing and slams its arms into her blade, pushing her back and nearly making her stumble over.

I glare at it as I feel a fire of anger begin to burn within my veins.

I got to thinking on how this relationship came to be, We both go through battles that could kill us and we receive physical trauma and some mental trauma from our friend being kidnapped and corrupted.It makes sense that she would look for comfort in one of the few who truly understand what she goes through.

I don't really think Charlottes side needs much explaining, she had a crush from the start, and Eli saving her and giving her a second chance in live is probably all explanation you would need.
Elisabeths side probably deserves more scrutiny, since sofar she had been pretty reluctant about this, and otherwise didn't seem to give it much thought.
That last fight and being confronted with posbility of losing Charlotte might have made her realise she can't keep it that way forever though.

I reach down to my side and pull the red scarf from...um... somewhere, I don't really waste time to think as I put it on and blink as my vision widens. Wow that's weird, this going to take a bit to get used to, but I have no time for that now, I have to help charlotte and get that disgusting thing away from her.

I grind my teeth together and grab my staff with both hands as I pull my staff back as a red like darkens and becomes surrounded by a black smoke.

"CRIMSON CHAIN LASH" I shout as I swing my staff forward.

A chain of burning red metal shoots from the end of my staff with a great roar and clinking sound as it flies forward and wraps around the clowns chest, who shrieks in pain from both mouths as its clothes burn and it begins to smoke. I pull back on my staff and begin to try to pull it away.

"HYDRA'S SMASH" Charlotte shouts slamming the pommels of bother her swords into its faces, causing the smiling side to twitch and the frowning side to scream in pain as acid rolls down its cheeks.

It slices its arms foreward and cuts her catsuit slightly, drawing a bit of blood from scratching her. Oh its not going to get away with that on a day like this?

Impressive.

I close my eyes and think about grass, milk, endless fields of grass that smells of fresh milk, and finally about goring that thing, because that actually seems really effective at killing monsters, actually.
I feel warmth spread through me as my armor reshapes to resemble the stuff greeks heroes wore as I grow taller and a bit wider, I wince as the horns and tails come in, why did have to hurt this time?

I grab my metal staff with both hands and dig my feet into the ground, before I snort angrily and pull back.

"HOLY!" the smiling face shouts
"Shit" the frowning one growns as I pull it from the ground and begin to spin it around, slamming it through a tree with a great cracking noise as the chain snaps in half and the thing goes flying and bouncing, the metal around it cooling off.

"Aw, but I was having fun" Charlotte says with fake disappointment...well I hope it's fake.

It stands back up with a nerve biting cracking noise as it slumps over limply, the skin on its chest burnt to a crisp.

"Fuck" The frowning face groans
"YOU BOTH" The smiling one laughs as it begins to flip through the air towards me.

I slam my staff into the ground, as the the red light gathers and begins to swirl around at the end of the staff, darkening as the light blue light surrounds it and freezes around it, trapping it inside and forming a large hammer head at the end of it. I pull it back and smile as the thing slashes down at me with its arms and rusted blades.

The ice cracks and breaks as it slams into its face, sending it flying the other direction as the stitches in its face tear open.
*KABOOM*
the ice cracks, releasing the fire within, and creating a large explosion that sends the clown flying even further as I get blasted off of my feet and hit the ground with a dull thud. Ow my poor back, why did that of all things had to happen?

"HYDRA'S ROAR" I hear charlotte laugh as I see whats left of the clan get bitten in half by the dragon heads made of green lightning, carrying the two separate parts into the skies as they vanish into a purple mist, a small twinkle falling from them and to ground.

"Oh come on the tree was harder than that" Charlotte sighs "My morning walk is harder than that, come on is that really it?"

I chuckle as I sit up rubbing my back and smiling as I see Charlotte walk over to me tossing a small baseball sized orb of chaos.

"COMET TWIRL" We shout as the lights as two beams of light erupt from either end of the spear, one blue, the other yellow and begin to twirl around us, pulling the tentacles and their owner into the spiral we created as we dance around, dirt and rocks flying up to join her, as well as the smaller trees and a quite a few leaves as the Pretty little thing is thrown around for a while before she pulls herself out, covered in frost and looking a little blue as she drops out of the sky and lands in front of us as we stop dancing and point our spear at her.

"What manner of creature are you?!" She asks as she glares at us with her one eyes.

We grin, showing her out teeth.

We jolt and glare, grabbing our spear as she begins to swing the bat back.

"Ahhn" We moans as another jolt of pain shoots through us.

The maiden smiles and pulls the bat back once more, as our poor little bottom begins to ache.

"B..BLUE PILLAR" We shout as we stab our spear into the ground.

The ground begins to crack, revealing a bright light blue light glowing under it. There's a loud groaning and cracking sound as we and the maiden our launched high into the sky by a pillar of ice.

We hit the slippery ground with a thud, cracking the part we land on and and stand up, rubbing our rump. The maiden stands up as well.

"Real chilly out isn't it?" We ask staring at her chest.

"Yeah it is" She says staring at ours as she begins to walk towards is, hitting her bat against her free hand.

we hold our spear to our side and run towards the the blushing monster. She swings at me and we slide under her bat,stabbing the spear in the ground as it begins to glow blue. She tries to step on us and swings at us again, hitting us in the side as we leap back up and grab her hands and begin to twirl her around a twirl of blue light surrounds us, she struggles to break free as we force her to dance with us.

Before we kick her into the twister of freezing winds. She shrieks on the way up and is thrown out of the top of it, hitting the ground with a thud and struggling to get up from the melting ice, panting as she does so.

"COMET'S DANCE" We shout as we pick up our spear and begin to walk over to her. She flops over and stares at us, her face looking as red as blood.

I twirl our spear around in the air slightly as the head begins to glow yellow.

"YELLOW LASH" we shout as we swing it forward, the rope of electricity arcing towards the maiden on the ground as she forces herself up.

It begins to wrap around her neck, but she grabs onto it, twitch and moaning as she begins to pull us to her, we dig our feet in the ground as she begins to smoke and twitch even more.

And then she yanks as hard as she can, pulling us off our feet and onto the ice, before she drags us a foot or two and gets up and walks towards us with a sadist smile on her face.

She plants one of her feet on our face and begins to press down on it as we growl angrily, gripping our spear as the lash vanishes.

She begins to grind her foot against our cheek, laughing happily as point the spear at her neck, a yellow light gathering at the point of the spear, twirling around and growing brighter. Her eyes go wide and she pull a collar from....

"HYDRA'S BEAM" We shout as she tries to force the collar around our neck, crouching down as a dragon made from lighting bursts out of the spear and bites her in the chest, spinning around and around as it carries her away screaming in pain as thick globs of purple blood drop to the ice and begins to freeze.

The dragon vanishes and she drops to the ground, and struggles to get up, coughing up purple blood and black smoke as she tries to force herself to stand as with several large holes in her body as she twitches and arcs with lighting.

We stand up and begin to walk towards her
