The sun begins to hide behind some of the taller buildings, leaving the green park shaded in the metal city. “I think that’s enough for today.”

Your friends agree and begin packing it in. More time went by than you thought. Vance and Jeanine look like they got a lot of training in, both with themselves and their Pokemon. You noticed that Sneasel wasn’t included though.

Clair playfully falls into her Gardevoir’s arms in faux exhaustion. When she notices you seeing that though, she immediately stiffens up and brushes herself off. Ha! You knew she was a softie with her Pokemon.

You all make it back to the Pokemon center. Just before you’re about to head for the showers, Junior stops you. “Kat, have you ever traded any of your Pokemon?”

You turn around to face him. The others start heading into the showers. “Just really quickly to help them evolve, why?”

He looks unsure. “I...I traded my Venonat for Pangoro. Well, it was a Pancham before. I just didn’t connect with Venonat that well.” He lowers his voice. He only wants you to hear this. “At first I thought it was a no-brainer, but when I traded Venonat away he gave me this really sad look. I don’t know if I did the right thing.”

He looks down at his feet, thinking.

You put a hand on his shoulder. “Maybe you should go visit them.”

You leave him to his thoughts and head into the showers. You wish you could do more for him.

“It’s not like you to be late for the showers,” Jeanine casually whips at towel at you. “Don’t tell me you’re getting shy.”

You quickly disrobe and sneak up on Robin, giving her a quick pinch. She turns around and sighs relief at seeing your grinning face.

“That answers my question,” Jeanine playfully rolls her eyes.

Clair seems to be relaxing a bit now. She even has Gardevoir out. It’s a open area, but you didn’t know that Pokemon centers allowed that.

“Gardevoir is a neat freak,” Clair explains. “She likes dirt about as much as Jeanine likes hiding her cowtits.”

Jeanine chases Clair with the towel, being a lot less playful. Gardevoir follows, worried about her master.

You offer to wash Robin’s back. The steam makes your corner a little private. She seems wary, like you’re going to try something.

“Relax,” you say as you massage her back. “So, what can we expect at the next gym?”

Robin thinks, oblivious to your wandering hands or Jeanine putting Clair in a headlock off to the side.

“The gym leader has the most expensive gym in the region. The walls are made out of a really rare metal.” She gasps as you run your finger up that spot on her back. You motion for her to go on. “I-I-It’s reflective, so...” She bites her lip as your mouth moves down her chest. “S-so most moves bounce off...off uh...the sides” Robin surprises you, pushing you against the shower wall with a passionate kiss and sliding her hand between your legs.

“Robin! Public shower!” Jeanine admonishes from behind. She looks like she’s trying to hold back a laugh at Robin going red. Clair struggles to break free of the headlock, only to get a face full of suffocating boob. Gardevoir paces back and forth rapidly, not knowing what to do.

You and Robin take a little break actually showering before talking again. This time you ask about her eye.

You all exit the shower and see Vance waiting on the couch. He tells you that Junior took off, looking for a trainer. “He said to call him if we see him.” Vance repeats the description Junior gave.

Putting it out there that getting a tattoo when we're trying to get that cybereye through idolhood is probably a bad idea until we've secured the deal 100%. People go apeshit about celebrities getting a tattoo in the west and idols are a lot more Japan-like in the Pokemon world last time I checked, where having a boyfriend or going on a date is liable to end your career and put out on the streets for the forming lynch mobs.

I mostly want a tattoo because I enjoy playing up the 'bad-girl' angle, especially with Robin as our foil.

You worry about overspending, but so far, you and your friends aren’t making a dent in your funds.

First thing you do is take a quick trip into a store with some adult toys. You smile widely as Robin sees you come out, but you don’t show her what you got. That’s a surprise. Clair calls you a pervert, but you shrug it off and move to the next store.

Then there’s the state-of-the-art Pokeball. You eye it in the glass case as the sales rep goes over all the complicated details. It comes if a posh box and has a warranty. Wow!

You pass by a tattoo parlor. You’ve been thinking it over, and you figure it’s best to revisit that idea after you secure your sponsorship. You can decide what you want to do then.

Finally, there’s the clothes shopping. That’s always fun!

You update your traveling clothes with something new. What you had was serviceable, but even something as tough as that was getting all scratched and ripped from your adventuring. You guess the slide down the hill with that Team Imperium member and the battle with Regirock probably started getting them unraveled.

Then you grab some fancy clothes, and immediately set upon all but a few of them with your tool. You grab a needle and thread too, and really punk them up. These will be your show clothes. The fancy stuff you saved will be for special events, or when you really need to be taken seriously.

You pick up a small music box on your way out. On the off chance you see Meloetta again, you can offer it to her.

Lastly, you get a few treats for your Pokemon. They look so good you’re almost tempted to try one yourself.

You meet up with your friends and finish paying for everything. Your purchases were by far the most expensive. You ended up spending about a third of what you won from Dick, total.

“Thanks, Kat!” Vance says. The others join in on thanking you too.

You grab a quick bite to eat off a vendor and feed the snacks to your Pokemon. You hope Vlad’s doing okay.

“He’ll be fine,” Clair says. “And no, I wasn’t snooping. I could see it on your face.”

“What next?” Jeanine asks.

“Let’s go dancing!” You’ll check out a casino afterwards, then maybe wander the streets. You’ll see how you feel.

You all get changed and find a club. You have to admit you don’t have all that much experience with this sort of thing. You've snuck into a few places when you were younger, but it was really hard to do anything without being caught. Plus your town was pretty small.

You feel pretty confident in your new clothes as you hit the floor. Robin is pretty self-conscious, but she follows your lead. She’s still really awkward, but she’s on her feet. She’s been getting a lot more confident lately.

You let out Nibbles and Devon. Devon looks a little unsure, but Nibbles really seems to like dancing. After awhile Devon runs around a bit and has some fun. You feel a little bad about not letting Destiny out, but figure with her poison points and general dislike of being crowded in, it's probably best to leave her in her ball.

With them out, you head down to the bar. The bartender gives you a skeptical look, but a little flirting and large tip convinces him to serve you and your friends. He looks like he regrets that as soon as he sees the petite Robin though.

You take a drink over to Clair. “I hope Nibbles doesn’t choose now to evolve,” you joke.

She takes a sip, then contorts her face. “Thanks. I mean, for the drink, the shopping, everything.”

Robin slides in next to her. “You’re being nice.” She says. Coming from anybody but Robin that would sound bitter or sarcastic.

Clair sips her drink some more and laughs. “Don’t get used to it.”

You and Robin spend some time trying to get Clair to dance. She really doesn’t want to expose how bad she is at dancing.

“You can just convince people you’re good with your powers,” Robin jokes.

“It’s about not caring what other people think,” you tell her. “Nobody out there cares how you dance.”

Clair mulls it over, and eventually caves. The three of you hit the floor, taking in a few drinks. Just enough to get a little loose, but not sloppy. You shake your groove things for awhile, working up a sweat and having a surprisingly good time. Devon gets excited and stands on all fours, but loses balance and pushes you into Robin. You notice Clair and Robin are getting more and more provocative as her drink intake and confidence grows. They bump and occasionally grind on you.
