>LAST TIME ON GEASS QUEST: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/38400786/

>Thread times and updates posted here: https://twitter.com/Crosswire

>Quest is usually ran on Saturday starting at 3:30PM

Your name is Shirley Fennette, but given how much you’ve changed in the last month or so, both physically and mentally, you wouldn’t be all that shocked if no one but you believed that. Different voice, different eyes, at this point you wouldn’t be surprised if entire chunks of you started to fall off and grow back.

While the changes have saved your life by essentially allowing you to regenerate from anything that doesn’t turn you into giblets, they’re slowly robbing you of what little you believed you had left and basically turning you into someone else entirely.

Before you thought you were angry, but now? You can’t even begin to describe the hatred and teeth crushing rage pent up inside of it.. It’s not just Zero who needs to face justice, Dr. Pailsen, Mr. Stadtfeld, “Pluton”, and V.V and his mysterious Geass Directorate ALL need to pay.

And they’re going to pay, because you’re sure as hell not going to die first from the looks of things…

The car rumbles slightly and it’s hard not to feel squished in the back seat, with a handcuffed Rolo not a foot away from from you. Rai hums aimlessly to himself in front of you and the tiny Nemo drives the car, now looking obviously too young to hold a driver’s license.

As the scenery moves by in a blur you open the bag Nemo had given you containing all of the things you asked for. 2000 pounds, a few changes of clothes (one of which you’re wearing), and an old piston revolver with 6 shots of 9mm ammunition in the chamber. The straight jacket suit is also inside the bag as you decided to keep it on hand in case you needed it for some reason.

As you take out the old pistol and look it over, you speak to Nemo in the front seat.

“You mentioned something about heights before, are you putting me on a plane? If it’s anything official I probably won’t be able to bring this gun and if it isn’t official I probably won’t make it home. Britannian airspace is probably heavily monitored right now what with the war having broken out. If this plane isn’t legit we’ll be shot down before we make it anywhere near the west coast…”

“Well it’s not a legitimate flight service that’s for sure, but this is one of the few if only ones that can get you into the homeline without going through official channels. You see there’s a small, small, small hole in Britannia’s air defense network that they aren’t fully aware of. It’s not particularly big, but it’s just big enough that a small private jet with a dozen or so people can fly in and out of the country without anyone knowing…”

You consider asking Nemo how she knows this or how she got you a ticket on this shady plane, but given what Rolo told you about the mysterious power known as “Geass” and how it supposedly effect’s peoples minds it doesn’t take a lot to imagine what she could have done to get you this ticket.

As your mind drifts to the topic of Geass you look over to the young assassin beside you, who is slumped against the car door, staring blankly out the window. You’re not sure if bringing him along is a good idea or not, especially since Nemo apparently did something to him with her Geass, but you’re convinced you’ve shaken him from his drive to kill you and that at the very least he won’t interfere with your plans now that his life is more on the line then you’re own.

The ride is a quiet one, offset only by Rai’s childish humming and the beautiful Euro Britannian landscape, all of which may very well be gone in the coming weeks once the Chinese Federation inevitably invades.

Eventually the car slows and pulls down a dirt road that leads to what appears to be an airfield where a sleek, black jet of some kind sits on a shoddy runaway.

“Well this is your stop. Here are your tickets, just give them to the pilot and he’ll let you on board. He shouldn’t ask any questions about your gun or the assassin, but just make sure you don’t get nosey about the other passengers. I’m sorry that this is so...illegal, but this was the only way I could work out to get you back home as fast as possible.”

“It’s fine.” You say, lying through your teeth.

“Is there anything you want to say or ask me before you leave? I’m not sure we’ll ever see each other again…”

>”Can I have your cell number or some way to contact you? I’d like to...keep in touch.”
>”Nemo, do you know about about something called Geass? Apparently the people after me know about it.”

Good to see you Crosswire

>”No, you’ve done enough for me. Goodbye, Nunnally.”

Also, I'd like to point out that seeking to reunite with our friends doesn't make any sense from Shirley's standpoint. I mean, part of the reason Xinlu Kuu came to be was the desire to protect her friends from Zero or whatnot, and now that there are several other parties actively trying to get her she just goes "oh well, whatever"? Yeah no. Though I can easily imagine Shirley wanting to do so on the spur of the moment, but eventually abandoning the idea.

Not really, it's just Cecile right now who we can assume is in some trouble. Rivalz and Milly? They're not, and if Shirley Fenette "died" or something they'll be safe from Pluton and V.V. Granted, it's not like we have a ton of options for getting a new identity, so we might as well go with some crazy rescue mission.

“Can I get your number or have some way to contact you? I’d like to at least keep in touch…” You reach into your bag and pull out the cheap, green disposable cellphone Nemo got you and offer it to her. The small girl pauses for a moment before taking it and flipping it open. After a few taps of the cruddy buttons on the phone, she hands it back to you, a strange, unusually long number typed into the phone's contacts.

"You won't be able to reach me on that number very often, but when I'm free I'll be able to pick up." Nemo smiles at you and you do your best to return it before leaving the car, picking up your bag and leading Rolo out of the car by his cuffs.

As you walk across the airfield to where the plane sits, you hear the hum of the car engine behind you and turn around to see the tiny compact roll away, disappearing into the trees and down the dirt path that had taken you to the air field.

Frowning and anticipating some kind of betrayal, you pick up the pace and practically sprint over to the plane where you find a man standing outside the hatch leading on board. The man sits on a folding chair, a ragged baseball cap resting on his head and a pair of aviator glasses resting on his face.

"Tickets?" He immediately asks upon seeing, tensing up as you reach into your jacket and take out the pair of tickets Nemo had given you in the car.

The man relaxes and takes the tickets from you, dropping them into the small cooler in his lap.

"Well you're the last two folks I was waiting for. Get onboard and we'll take off in a couple minutes."

With a simple nod you walk up the stairs, Rolo's cuffs clinking slightly as he follows you. Inside you find the cabin of the plane to be cramped and uncomfortable, with barely enough room to stand up all the way without smacking your head against the roof.

There are only ten seats on the entire plane in in rows of two leading all the way to the ass end of the plane. The people occupying the 8 seats look shady as hell, carrying ether large ruffle bags or nothing what so ever, with their clothes torn up like they'd been riddled with bullets.

Trying not to make eye contact with anyone, you lead Rolo to the back where the only two empty seats remain. Sitting down you stow your bag underneath your seat, checking your pistol and tucking it away inside your coat. Your outfit is casual, a white t-shirt, a denim jacket, some jeans, and a pair of sneakers. Not looking like a bondage enthusiast will make it easier to go unnoticed back home.

Leaning back in your seat you consider what to do to pass the time once the plane is in the air.

>Sleep. No sense not getting some shut eye on a flight all the way to Britannia.

As tempting it is to close your eyes, go to sleep, and hope to wake up to find this has all be one long dream, you decide to remain in the waking world for a bit longer. You lean into the isle ever so slightly and took towards the front of the plane, noticing how the plane is quite full. It’s difficult to make out the faces of the people in the plane given how their backs are all towards you, but even a back view of them makes it clear these individuals are...unique.

One man in the front sports a mohawk dyed such an ugly shade of yellow that you’d swear he dyed his hair with urine, while another carries a rather large cello case that could easily be hiding anything from drugs to a rocket launcher. The people on the plane who don’t look like goons or drug smugglers, look like they recently broke out of prison. In fact the red haired young man in the seat in front of you is actually wearing a prison uniform.

You can’t see his face, but you can see his disheveled red hair, the orange sleeves of his jumpsuit, and some nasty looking burns around his wrists where it looks like he cut off some heavy cuffs with something very, VERY hot. Bending over backwards you look underneath his chair and see his bruised bare feet resting against the plush carpet of the plane.

"Great, I'm on a plane with possible terrorists and escaped prisoners. What next, snakes?" You think to yourself before glancing over to Rolo who stares out the window, his face hard and expressionless.

"Are you alright?" You ask and he looks to you, showing brief surprise.

"Uh, yes. I still can't remember anything about my discussion with that Nemo girl. It's hard to say but I'm sure she used some kind of Geass on me..."

"Have you noticed anything else wrong with you?"

"No, I haven't had any unusual compulsions or the like, but then again if I did there's a chance I might not remember having them in the first place. However..."

"Yes?"

"I can't...I can't kill you."

>(1/2)
>>
>>38727166
Your eyes narrow at the chocolate named assassin.

"I thought we've been over this..."

"No, I'm not talking about you. I'm saying I physically can't try to kill you or anything. I tried to grab that gun of yours in the car, I could have easily done it and unloaded it into the girl driving but...no matter how much I focused my body wouldn't do what I asked."

“Are you saying you can’t fight anymore?” You ask and watch as the assassin shakes his head.

“I don’t know about fighting, but I certainly can’t kill anyone…” Rolo grits his teeth and clenches his fists as he says that. You’d say he looked like he was ready to kill someone, but you know now that isn’t possible anymore.

“What about your power? Your Geass? Can you still use that?” You ask and Rolo shrugs.

“I can’t tried and I don’t think testing it on a plane is all that good of an idea…”

As Rolo says that you hear the door of the plane slammed shut and a crackle from the speakers overhead.

“This is your captain speaking, I’d like to personally thank you for climbing aboard and giving me all your money to fly you to Britannia. We will be flying a one way trip to the state of Washington, landing about a hundred miles or so from Seattle. In the event we encounter an emergency or are shot down by Britannian aircraft...well we’re kind of fucked, but that won’t happen since you pay me the big bucks.”

You cringe at that statement and look around the cabin, noticing just how sardine can like it all suddenly feels now…

“Get some shut eye, enjoy the view, and don’t go to the bathroom unless you need too, I don’t think there’s any toilet paper onboard.”

The plane shakes as it begins to roll down the runway, gradually picking up speed with the light whir of engines outside the window. Your stomach churns as the jet takes to the air and begins ascending into the sky.

"How long do you suppose the flight will take?" You ask Rolo who quickly replies.

"7 to 8 hours, though that could change depending on weather conditions and if this jet is even remotely fast as I assume it should be."

8 hours is a lot of time, what do you wish to do in those 8 hours Shirley?

Pretty sure killing Stadfeld and Pailsen would make her happier with no my good what have I done chances afterwards.

I do. I mean, it's going to be hard. She's going to have to kill a lot of people to get there. But yes, I can see her getting a happy ending.
>>
>>38728985
No, I meant long-term happy ending.
It will be even more funny if, after dealing with Lelouch and other threats she sets out to make the world a better place by getting rid of Codes and later becomes a Code herself, either by becoming more CC or somehow stealing them. Find a way to commit suicide end

>>38729054

That's practically guaranteed to happen.
>>
>>38729005
How would killing Zero make her realize she killed Lelouch? She doesn't even remember who Lelouch is. And Geass doesn't deactivate just because the person who used it dies. Killing Zero would give her nothing but satisfaction.
>>
>>38729120
Typo meant my god what have I done?

>>38729139
She knows who Lelouch is, just her best memoires with him are absent now. See his face in the Zero suit would either break her mind or the Geass. She did vow to among other thing unmask him.
>>
>>38729120
Long term happy end is only possible if all of her friends are well and unaltered.

>My God what have I done!

Killing statfield or the doctor wouldn't cause that. They're evil people. Doing that to Zero wouldn't do that he's a monster.

Doing that to say.. Euphi(Forgive the spelling) would cause problems.

But say Kallen wouldn't she chose that shit.

Leaning back in your seat you begin to think on your plans for when you arrive in Britannia. It’s been ages since you were in the homeland, but you assume that it’s as safe and well defended as it’s always been. Unlike in Euro Britannia or Area 11 you won’t have to worry about terrorist attacks in the homeland, though now you’ll need to keep an eye out for assassins and try to stay away from the authorities.

You’re not technically wanted for any crimes, but considering how large and nebulous “Pluton” and the Geass Order probably are, it’s probably for the best to stay under the radar. But that brings up the question, how are you going to contact your friends?

Calling them, or at least Cecile and Lloyd is out of the question given how the last phone call went. The Avalon probably isn’t in Hawaii anymore, depending on if the battle went well or poorly it either moved on or retreated. If you’re lucky it’s on a base somewhere on the west coast, then it’ll just be a matter of figuring out where it is.

What takes priority Shirley?

Thing is if she unmasks Lelouch (given this series' propensity for drama she likely will) She'll either Crash out into a geass coma, or get her memories back. Prior to this she did love him. She'd be conflicted.

The way I see it, even with her memories back Shirley isn't going to suddenly stop hating Zero and everyone associated with him. So why would she feel bad about taking pleasure in killing them? From her perspective they're horrible monsters and it's a good thing that she enjoys killing them. I can see her feeling grief for what she's lost, that innocent life when she could afford to ignore the evil in the world. But that's just going to anger her, make her more eager to kill them.

You decide the best course of action is to locate the Avalon. Calling up Milly and Rivalz on their phones is too risky given what’s already happened, making it safer to locate the ship and hatch an attempt to get onboard to make sure it and the crew haven’t been taken hostage or outright taken over. It won’t be easy, you aren’t sure where to begin looking for information regarding the Avalon’s location, but Rolo might.

However you decide to leave those questions for another time and instead turn your train of thought to the topic of revenge.

It’s been ages since you actually thought out what you intended to do to the people you hated. Before you just had Zero, but now you have a whole slew of people who need justice delivered to them. You still intend to make Zero suffer for everything his did, but Dr. Pailsen and Stadtfeld? Oooooh you’ll need to hatch up a special hell for them, for everything they’ve done and planned to do to you.

V.V? Well you don’t know anything about him yet, making it difficult to imagine doing horrible things to him when you don’t know the first thing about him.

Still, the brain exercise takes your mind off things and slowly you begin to drift off to sleep…

For once your sleep is peaceful and dreamless, though you wake up with an incredibly sore neck that makes you wonder if Rolo had tried to break your neck in your seep. As you curse the uncomfortable chair you sit in you hear the screeching of tires on a runway and soon feel the vibrations running through your entire body as the jet comes to a slow halt.

You tap Rolo on the shoulder and he awakens almost immediately as you look outside, seeing nothing but a misty night and the faint lights of civilization in the distance.

Personally, I don't think Shirley can ever really go back to how it was. The fighting, the betrayal, the hatred, and the complications that immortality brings don't paint a pretty picture.

I mean, I'm not advocating going full Rau Le Creuset here, but I can definitely picture Shirley doing something along the lines of Outer Heaven or Militaires Sans Frontieres. Or climbing a mountain and never coming down or some such.
>>
>>38729842
Well there you go. For peaceful sleep all Shirley needs to do is think of murdering people she hates.

"This is your captain speaking, thank you for flying agony airlines flight 101. If you'd please leave the plane as soon as possible that would be much appreciated, there's always the chance we were spotted by the authorities and I don't think any of us want to deal with them."

With the pilot's comment the passengers on the plane begin to disembark, one by one with you and Rolo being the last ones off. You step out into the chilly night air on a battered and seemingly abandon runaway. The other passengers run off into the distance, some towards the town and others into the woods while others just wait nearby in the brush, probably for accomplices to pick them up.

"So what do you intend to do now?" Rolo asks as you look around.

First we have to find some guy in either desperate situation or wanting to do great things and after giving them geass we would need to help him with it so he could take our code
>>
>>38730470
Pretty Sure the collective consciousness would will us out of existence for that sort of shit.
>>
>>38730442
Actually, if you consider all the supernatural stuff in code geass and this quest, I'm pretty sure our memories exist somewhere in the world of C.
We just need to take them back, by force maybe.

>>38730470
>Code Geass Quest R2
Some hundred years in the future, after we defeat Lelouch and other scum and retire to a remote monastery. Shirley is getting tired of the whole immortality thing so she finds this girl, her name begins with C or something. She makes a contract with the girl and, well, you know the rest of the story.
>>
>>38730578
What would be interesting in that memories existing in the world of C. Is if C.C. started picking up a few of Shirley's.
>>
>>38730626
That'd make Lelouch's life even more awkward.
>>
>>38730259
That doesn't seem to be the case. Physically, Shirley will be identical to CC, but I'm pretty sure Codes aren't mentally immortal as well, because that brings up a whole slew of issues when you consider their regeneration.

So I don't think Shirley is just gonna wake up thinking she's CC or even thinking like CC. At least, not because of the regeneration, anyway. I assume they'll have a decent amount in common after a century or so anyway, just by virtue of having an immortal perspective on things.
>>
>>38730675
Haha, indeed it would.
Imagine CC suddenly calling him Lelou or blushing madly for no apparent reason. Amazing.
>>
>>38730466
As tempting as the siren call of possibly safe, mudane civilization is you decide it’s best to head to the highway which you can just barely see in the distance beyond a thick veil of trees in the distance. Marching across the wet grass you lead Rolo along, wondering if it’ll be safe or not to take him off the handcuffs that have kept him bound so far.

“Where are we going?” Rolo asks, understandably as you lead him into the dark.

“The highway, it’s on the other side of this forest. Once we’re there we can walk and hitchhike our way to Seattle. I need to learn where the flying ship Avalon is, do you know anyway we could learn where it’s currently stationed?” You don’t look back at Rolo and instead focus on your footing, trying to avoid stepping into anything you might regret.

“I might know a place we can go to get that information, but we’ll need to get to Seattle before I can say for sure…”

Walking into the forest, you attempt to find the highway…

Finding the highway proves to be easy and you manage to get through the forest without running into any of the unsavory folk from the plane. You make sure to uncuff Rolo before stepping out onto the highway, but even after keeping him in front of you it’s hard to tell if he was lying back on the plane or not, and you keep your hand on your revolver.

Hitchhiking doesn’t go very well though as everyone on the highway speed’s past or doesn’t recognize you’re even there. You and Rolo are left walking off to the side of the road for a good hour or two, with boredom eventually driving you to ask about the information.

“So where do you intend to get the location of the Avalon from exactly?”

“From the OSI.”

“Wait. You mean the Office of Secret Intelligence? As in the people who are responsible for collecting information on all of Britannia’s enemies and foes?” Even now you aren’t very well versed on military tech or politics as much as you’d like to be, but even you know about the OSI and their reputation for being ‘efficient’.

“Well not their headquarters, no, but they have a base of operations in Seattle we’ll be able to get information from. I have a plan to get inside and get the info, but I’ll need your help…”

“What did you have in mind?” You ask, even though you suspect Rolo’s up to something. After all the running, hiding, and relying on others, you’re starving for a chance to fight and pit yourself against someone else to feel the satisfaction of wiping the floor with them.

“I can get inside and extract the information, however since I can’t kill anyone that means you need to cause a distraction.” Rolo explains as cars rush by.

“What kind of distraction?”

“It could be a lot of things, but considering you’re a pilot, the easiest thing to do would be to break into the local police precinct, steal a Knightpolice unit, and attack the OSI base. It’s hidden and not very big, so if you attack it’ll cause enough of a ruckus to allow me to slip inside and hopefully slip out with the information in the confusion.”

You pause in thought at the idea. It’s tempting, you really want to climb inside a Knightmare again, however if you go through with this plan you’ll be fighting not only the police but the OSI as well, in the middle of a city no less. In this fight you could potentially kill innocent people and slay officers and agents who ultimately have nothing to do with your quest for revenge.

What do you think of the plan?

“This plan sucks. I’m willing to kill terrorists and criminals, but gunning down cops and intelligence agents isn’t something I’m going to do.” You state firmly and Rolo just shrugs.

“Alright, so the plan will need to be reworked…”

“Can’t you just infiltrate using your Geass?”

Rolo shakes his head and taps his chest. “There are too many people in the facility and my power doesn’t work on machines. Besides, every time I active my geass my heart stops, meaning I can only use it so much before I risk complete and total cardiac arrest.”

Grimacing at the description you continue walking, mind deep in thought.

“We could try a bomb threat, force them to evacuate the building long enough for you to slip inside and get what we need. I don’t think we’d even need to steal explosives, just rig up something noisy and dangerous looking that we can set off via remote.”

"Alright, that could work. How much money do we, er, you have?"

"Nemo gave me 2000 pounds, can we make a knockoff bomb with this much?"

"Oh we can make more then just one knockoff bomb..."
