You live in a castle. But you dont live in just any castle, you live in a castle owned by a god. One day in your travels you set up camp for the night. It was on this night, that as you slept you heard a loud crackling sound. Wearily getting out of bed, you headed over to it to see a yellow portal just big enough for a minotaur of your size. After deliberating whether it was a good idea, you went through the portal and came out in front of a towering castle.

The castle is a tall glowing spire of beautifully sculpted metal, with raw magical power crackling over it. You looked up to see the night sky above you, and looking over the edge you see clouds blocking your vision to the ground. Not sure what to do, you head towards the seemingly deserted castle, and open the doors leading inside with a push. The doors open you entered inside to find a large main room, metal and blue crystals floating inside of it. The doors slammed shut behind you, and forced to explore the castle you decided it was the best thing to do.

You walked through the castle, fearful slightly as it seemed to change all by itself without rhyme or reason. One moment your in a glowing forest, the next you walking through a mountain path. Strangely enough you encounter no signs of life except trees and grass, and after taking a turn down one long hall you find what seems to be a mysterious vault...

Walking inside of the area, the room changes into a large mountain. You head straight though, as if unbothered by the change, and dont stop walking until you reach door.

The door is golden, with large unknown symbols that seem to have been inserted into it during its creation. The door is set into a blue and bronze frame, and a pair of clean rock steps lead up to it.

Taking the steps with care you slowly walk up, and on the way to the door a number of runes, maps, and other things appear on the front of it. They float around you, glowing, and as they do you feel compelled to spill forth your secrets and knowledge. And you do.

You never were trained magically, despite your high magical potential. As such you settle for simply using your energy, and it works well enough for you. You can form your magic into crude forms but at the most you can shape walls of flame, blast of force, storms of lightning, your power is more geared for destruction, though you have used it for defense in the past. Its a good thing your magic is so untempered and blunt though, it meshes well with your prefered brutal styles of fighting, brawling and blunt weaponry. Few things are more satisfying than cracking skulls open with a hammer, and when you focus your magic into it the effects are truly devastating. Same goes with your fist, punching someone or something out of existence is something you've done VERY often if you couldnt use a blunt weapon.

Well might as well learn how to forge. Why not after all. Putting down your warhammer you walk over and attempt to learn how to forge off of gut instinct. While reading a book would help, you do an ok job at making your very first blade. After shaping it, cooling it, and smashing it, you finally have a decent sword. You then grab a hilt and combine it with the blade, and your rewarded with a sword! While its definetly not the best its alot deal better than what you expected. Putting the blade aside you then attempt to forge something else.

Your hot and sweaty as you work in the blazing heat of the forge. Oh you cant pass up this meal, which is probably the best you've seen in a while. You gather up various meat pies, a few drinks, and more. You take them over to a large table, set them down, and go to town. The pies are delicious, and you eat a truly large amount of food before finally feeling full, which is nice considering the other alternatives are normally huntinf, scavenging, or drinking mi-Hey!

As you reach for a pie it is snatched away. You look up annoyed to see a glowing set of runes floating in the air. As it speaks it flashes dully and its voice sounds impatient.

"No, no, no! I spent time making all this food and you cant just come in here and wolf it all down like a beast! You have to enjoy it first. Besides you could at least say hello, or thank you! Geez how unruly of you. Now if you ask nicely ill give you it back."

The floating runes return the pie to in front of you, and you waste no time in eating it. Meanwhile the runes speak in a proud snobbish manor, not male nor female.

"I am-"

It says something that you dont quite understand, and you stop eating and flick your ears in an attempt to hear it.

"Um. Could you repeat that?"

"I said that i am-"

Once again it says something incomprehensible, and as you simply stare at it, it lets out a sigh.

"Right your a mere Mortal. You can call me Hereshial ok?"

Hereshial? Sounds like an alright name...but what is the butler. You ask it what its gender or race and it seems to float up and down quickly as if shrugging.

"Ha! I am above mere gender limitations unlike you! How about a better question?"
