You decide to pay a visit to the Lookout. After all, it has been a long time since you've done so without training being your intent. Besides, Piccolo, Popo and Dende could probably use some company.

You leave your home and fly above the clouds, enjoying the feel of the wind in your face as you make your way up to the Lookout.

Piccolo is meditating, an activity he indulges in rather often. Popo is tending to the garden, and butterflies flutter peacefully around him as he works.

Dende watches the two of them with a smile, one that grows wider as he watches you land. He rushes over to you excitedly, disturbing Piccolo's meditation ad he greets you.

"Hey, Kaguya! It's good to see you!" he says happily.

Piccolo gives you a smile as he gets to his feet. "It's been a while since you've paid a visit here, to what do we owe the pleasure?"

The only way we're having adventures with Vegeta is if Bulma forces him to go with us. The pitch for the CC idea was we'd visit PTO and neutral territory to set up trade for tech and see about getting supplies for the healing vats etc. while mapping the territory around earth. In any case, he had encouraged keeping an eye out. Fortunately, you've seen no sign of that strange woman since the tournament.

"I'll admit, the subject has been on mind at times as well," Piccolo tells you. "What you described happening was rather strange. It's the first time I've heard of a person able to make someone else so much more powerful."

"Elder Guru had the power to unlock the potential of others," Dende points out.

"Yes, but from what I've heard, his technique did not produce such an incredible increase as what Kaguya described," Piccolo replies. "Besides, the strange powerup that girl received faded after the match. No, this isn't a technique I've ever witnessed before."

"Speaking of techniques, Goku was able to read Krillin's mind on Namek," you tell Piccolo. "Is that a trick all Saiyans can do?"

"No, what Goku did came simply from a great understanding of energy," Piccolo tells you. "Goku worked to connect himself more deeply with his own energy, and this gave him a much better ability to read the energy of others."

"Could you teach me to do that?" you ask.

"I could," Piccolo replies. "But, it will take a great deal of hard work and concentration. I have no doubts in your ability to give training your all, but your focus can be a bit lacking."

So anyone have interesting ideas for training in the future? I was thinking we could try making a single copy and having a race through a city. One just uses raw speed and the other only uses teleports. If teleporting was faster then it would give us a goal to reach speed wise, if flying normally over long distances is faster then maybe we'd improve our teleportation.

Piccolo gives you a stern look. "We both know that you've struggled with doubt, guilt, and fear in the past, more than most people. Such conflicts within yourself keep your mind unfocused, and an unfocused mind is useless in this kind of training."

He crosses his arms. "So, before we can start, we need to make sure that you have proper clarity of mind. I want you to meditate, look within yourself, remove all doubts, all fears, and all guilt. Once you have let go of what has burdened you, we can begin."

The namekian gives you a smile. ''Thank you, Kaguya. Now, it's time to get to work."

Piccolo goes silent, and both Dende and Popo respectfully do the same as you sit down, cross your legs, and close your eyes.

You calm yourself, going blind and deaf to all outside distractions (though, in a place like this, there are few). You look deep into your mind, searching for the instanced of guilt, fear, and doubt that have grabbed you in the past.

You look back to the battle with King Cold, where you were unable to keep fighting, and your friends were forced to come to your rescue. You accept that you just can't do everything, and that your friends are just as willing to lay down their lives for you as you are for them. That doesn't make you less of a friend or a warrior, it just speaks to what kind of friends you've made. They don't judge you for needing help from time to time, so you need to stop judging yourself. So, you let those feelings of doubt slip away.

You look back to the battle on Namek, where you spared the Ginyu Force, who later came back and slaughtered Chiaotzu. You blamed yourself for that, and deeply regretted your decision that led to the death of your friend. But, in the end, it all worked out. Chiaotzu was restored to life, the Ginyu Force was defeated, and everything turned out fine. It was in the past, Chiaotzu never blamed you, and you realize that you have to stop blaming yourself.

You let regret slip away.

And finally, fear rears its ugly head. You think of how there's always a greater threat out there, and as time goes on, they become harder and harder to stop. You worry for your friends, your family, and your world. But, you remember that every time a new threat came along, you rose to the challenge, and did everything you could to protect those you cared for.

"Very good," he praises you. "I know it seems like an overly simple exercise, but simply letting go of things like this can make all of the difference. Be warned, though. You haven't eliminated doubt, fear, or regret altogether. They'll always come back. But, so long as you don't let them get to you, you'll be alright."

His expression turns serious once more. "Now, part two of your training will be the most trying. And, it will require a great deal of focus and patience. Humans don't typically possess psychic abilities, so developing them in even a minor capacity will be tricky. Do you have any Senzu Beans with you?"

You nod, producing a pouch of roughly half a dozen beans.

Piccolo takes it from you. "You will need to spend the next several weeks in a constant state of meditation. Breaking it even for a moment will make you have to start over."

Learn of I, figure out how to manipulate it, then you'll be much closer to completing your training."

I'm not saying firing it off. I'm saying gather it together like we normally do, then instead of spending it in an attack or what not, keep that energy in place and study it. Study the process, try and reverse it and reabsorb the energy safely into our system again. Understand why all of that energy leaps so readily into a single point when every other person has to slowly build it up via Kamehameha or a similar move.

Think of it like practicing and studying a spell if that helps. Identifying the quirks of our unique attack should help us gain a better grasp on our energy as a whole. Having almost all of our energy bundled together in one spot to study lets us not only look at how it formed together and how stable/unstable it is in general but also lets us focus on what happens to our body when we gather all that energy up and rip it out so suddenly. If we don't release the energy it shouldn't make us pass out since it's still connected to our system. Just like how when we powered down from rampage drive we didn't immediately pass out since we hadn't burned through all of our energy yet.
