As you fly above the palace on New Planet Vegeta, you notice that you can't sense many people around. Just Broly, Paragus, your friends, and a few low powers you assume to be soldiers serving the Saiyans.

You also notice that there are no buildings surrounding the palace, as it sits by itself atop a large hill. A narrow, windy road descends into a nearby forest, and continues on the other side, winding through a collection of pathetic looking huts. Everything beyond that looks like a wasteland.

I always liked the IDEA of Brolly. If the legendary super sayian isn't legendary, but only a matter of training and taillessness, then there can be a really legendary sayian, who was born that way.
Brolly himself could have been better, and his last two movie completley buchered him, taking away this good idea.

Though it doesn't look like much, you decide to investigate the collection of huts.

As you slowly fly towards it, you wonder if there are other settlements like this on the planet, or perhaps some large cities. So, you sense for energy , finding a few hundred small power levels in the small collection of huts, and not another living thing across the entire planet. Your curiosity growing, the land in the middle of the group of huts, glancing around, and seeing nobody outside.

Looking at one of the huts, you see a collection of eyes staring at you, and the first of the natives steps into your sight.

His appearance reminds you a bit of the Saibamen you fought so long ago. He's roughly the same height, and his body type is similar, including three claws on each hand. However, his skin is purple, he has only a single, large eye in the middle of his forehead, and a horn sprouting from the top of his head.

"Who-who are you?" the creature asks fearfully. "What do you want?"

If I were Kaguya I would wonder, can the legendary super saiyan improve his people and unlock their hidden potential the way Kaguya can, is there a special relationship there that mirrors his own with the people of earth. Do other species have an Ur representative as well? Was Freeza that for his race? etc.

I mean out of character there isn't much pointing in that direction, both Broly and Freeza were once a millennium freaks of nature corrupted by their own power.

This is post Cell games, though the movie kind of sort of fits into the timeline right before the Cell games. Dralo indicated that he wasn't sure Broly would be a challenge before (like way back before Cell) but that has probably changed, especially with Towa skulking about messing with the timeline. I hope we get some development for Vetgeta and Kaguya gets to see just what sort of psychopath he could have become if shit had gone different, since I see Kaguya as a sort of human Broly myself.

Broly is basically the Saiyan form of Frieza. A mutant with an above-average power level, still grievously outclassed by real martial artists.
A quick check to the DBZ wiki reveals that it took place during the ten day wait before the cell games. Maybe in a similar timeline, but in that window anyway. So the canon fights were done at a power level a bit below canon perfect Cell.
That level is light years below us.

We saw a black aura. At the very least we know that Broly started to power up as soon as he saw Goku and we should remember the black aura from the tournament.

"Well, Paragus asked a friend of mine to hunt the Legendary Super Saiyan," you tell them. "I came with him."

"Grow crops?" a Saben asks in confusion.

It seems these creatures don't know about agriculture, and instead rely on hunting and gathering to sustain themselves. Luckily for them, they're speaking to a young man who comes from a family of farmers, a young man that has spent his life learning the skills that could help them so much as a people.

You rush into the forest, gathering some fruits, and flowers containing seeds from vegetables, returning to the village and explaining to the Saben how to grow the seeds into crops. You explain that the vegetables will probably grow much faster, while the fruits will take several years to produce trees.

Preparing the soil and planting the seeds, you rush back into the forest, finding a source of water. Untying your scarf, you collect some water in it, returning to the village and giving the seeds some of the life sustaining liquid.

For the next few hours, you explain the process of growing and sustaining crops to the Saben, who listen with great interest. As it approaches sunrise, several of them journey into the woods, looking for seeds to plant more food.

However, your lessons are soon cut short. You feel a sudden spike in power, and see an explosion coming from the palace.

"Dammit, Vegeta," you comment, looking towards the smoke billowing from the palace.

You sense for energy, and feel Goku in the area of the explosion, along with Gohan, and Broly. But, something seems wrong, Broly's power is much higher than it should be, and it seems to be growing, closing the gap in power between him and the other two Saiyans.

Naturally, you decide to investigate. So, after giving a quick apology to the Saben, you race to the source of the commotion, reaching the palace as Goku and Gohan are flung into the nearby forest, crashing through the trees and to the ground below.

As you watch, Broly emerges from the smoke, looking different than he did the last time you saw him. His hair is standing up, and has changed to a blue color. His muscles have grown larger, as has his power level.

Goku and Gohan rise back up from the forest, transforming into Super Saiyans as they stare at Broly in surprise.

"What are you doing, Broly?" Goku demands.

"K-Kakarot..." Broly growls. "KAKAROT!!"

Broly's energy flares once again, creating a powerful gust of wind as he floats towards Goku and Gohan.

"Broly, what are you doing?" you hear.

Looking through the hole in the palace wall, you see Paragus staring at his son in shock as he rushes towards Goku, throwing a punch that the other Saiyan easily blocks.

Broly's power level continues to rise, and he ascends from the forest, letting out a yell as he prepares to attack again.

Goku and Gohan get ready to defend themselves, only to stare in confusion as Broly looks up into the sky and begins screaming.

"What in the Hell is going on here?" Vegeta demands as he flies towards the commotion, followed by Trunks.

"Vegeta, so glad you could join us," Paragus comments, bursting into laughter. "You're just in time to die! Broly, kill him!"

Broly doesn't respond, continuing to scream as his power rises.

"Broly, you will do as I say!" Pragus shouts, extending a hand towards his son.

A piece of jewelry on Paragus's hand begins to glow, and a similar glow surrounds Broly, only to be replaced by a black aura. As the aura vanishes, Broly's eyes flash red, and he screams louder, green light shooting from his mouth and eyes as his power skyrockets.

"Enough of this!" Vegeta shouts, transforming into a Super Saiyan and charging at Broly, kicking the larger Saiyan in the jaw.

The attack does absolutely nothing, and Vegeta floats back in shock as Broly's power continues to rise, his muscles expanding, his hair turning gold.

Paragus stares at his son in shock, glancing down at the jewelry on his hand. "No...this can't be happening."

Broly laughs, charging at the father and son, swatting Gohan aside effortlessly before slamming his fist into Goku's jaw.

Trunks transforms at once, rushing at Broly and throwing a punch that the bulkier Saiyan dodges with surprising speed. Broly kicks Trunks in the gut, sending him flying off into the distance. Turning his head, he receives a knee strike to the face from Goku, before laughing and backhanding Goku down into the forest.

Broly gives chase as Vegeta stares in shock.

"H-he's the legendary Super Saiyan..." Vegeta whimpers in disbelief.

Not waiting to see if Vegeta comes out of his funk, you rush down towards Broly, firing a volley of energy blasts at his back.

Even though he is arrogant, Time Chamber Cell won't let Kaguya just flail at him until Kaguya raises his power level to equal him because he knows how the Super Human gains work. Also even if he didn't explicitly know that, unlike Freiza he can sense power levels so he would be able to detect that Kaguya is getting stronger while he was toying with him and he would then end it with his perfect multiform or whatever other curbstomp abilities he has. Time Chamber NPCs don't perceive it as "Oh this is just the PC grinding for EXP, whatever" they take it as a life or death battle.

Kaguya shouldn't be able to grind on Cell unless someone can come up with some strategy that will keep Cell from killing him as soon he figures out what's going on.

You scurry to evade the barrage of energy attacks, and take evasive action, doing your best to keep from being hit by your opponent.

Unfortunately for you, Broly is far faster than you would expect of such a bulky opponent, and catches you in an instant, grabbing you by the head and squeezing hard, causing your skull to feel as though it's about to crack open. Broly chuckles, slamming his fist into your gut, causing you to spit blood.

Gohan rushes to help you, only to have Broly throw you into him in a painful collision before blasting you both out of the sky. Your flesh burns and smokes as a horrific pain fills you.

The two of you fall into the forest below, landing with a thud on the ground. Looking up, you see four shapes zip through the sky towards Broly. Despite being in great pain, you and Gohan push yourselves to your feet, taking off into the air.

You see Nappa, Kazuma, Billy and Haya float before Broly, Goku and Trunks coming to join them.

"Alright, tough guy, I think it's time you see what happens when you piss off Nappa!" the large Saiyan yells, transforming into a Super Saiyan and firing a massive wave of energy from his mouth.

Broly makes no effort to evade the blast, and it strikes him in a colossal explosion, creating a massive cloud of smoke. A green glow appears within the cloud, and an instant later, a ball of energy of the same color flies out, striking Nappa in the gut. It detonates in a massive blast that knocks everyone away, and sends Nappa screaming into the distance.

"Do you fools think it matters how many of you there are?" Broly asks. "Do you really believe you have the power to beat me?"

"Yes I do!" Billy shouts.

Your friend raises his hands above his head, forming a triangle with his fingertips. He then begins to spin, leaning forward so that his fingers point to Broly. Billy becomes surrounded by a red aura, and his energy flares.

Broly laughs, swatting the attack aside effortlessly before gathering energy for an attack of his own.

"Oh no you don't!" Kazuma yells, flying in front of Billy and using his Spirit Sword to deflect the blast back at Broly.

The Super Saiyan roars in anger, creating a dome of energy around himself to stop the blast.

"Your stupid tricks won't save you!" Broly declares, rushing at the pair and driving his left elbow into the back of Kazuma's neck.

As Kazuma falls from the sky, Broly punches Billy in the face, sending him plummeting to the ground at the edge of the forest.

Broly is no weakling, that's for sure. And what's worse, his power seems to be growing. And, to make matters even more dire, you sense a familiar, dark energy within him.

As Broly prepares his next attack, you quickly raise your hands in front of your face.

"SOLAR FLARE!" you shout., creating a blinding flash of light that disorients friend and foe alike.

You sense for the source of the mysterious energy surrounding Broly, and locate it nearly halfway across the planet. Locking onto that bit of energy, you attempt to teleport to it by merging yourself with it.

However, you find that, at this distance, you just can't manage it, leaving you with no other choice than to fly there regularly. You zip away from the battle as fast as you can. hoping to put a stop to this strange increase in power Broly has received.

"Where are you going?" Haya shouts, before turning her attention back to a furious Broly.
