I am Maria of House Antioch. That comes pretty easy to me already really. What doesn't come easy is understanding. Anything. Right now one of my friends - cause that’s what she is - called Helena is staring at me, tears still fresh on her face. Just another thing I don’t understand.

“...dead?” Odd, it’s still way dark but somehow I see her pretty clearly. Just as I think that, her outlines are starting return into the twilight, the room becoming hazy again really quickly. Damn that would have been useful!!

“Huh-uh”. Saints, she sounds so miserable…

“Five Pillars: Burning Road!” Following the command is a flow of power around the room as every candle lights up at once. Huh, this pattern seems familiar. I blink against the sudden brightness.

“Helena. What is going on here?” Evangelyne’s voice sounds at once tired and very, very annoyed. Uh, Eriadne, help me here. I look around, only to find her still sitting on the same chair, her eyes - bright green eyes ringed with purple - alert but otherwise unmoving. Looking first to me, then to Helena, she finally meets Evangelyne’s gaze as something unreadable passes between them. What?

Why are you both looking at the two of us like we’re some criminals?! This isn't right at all; Shouldn't you be happy we are getting along? Helena seems to have noticed the change in atmosphere too, her gaze shifting from fearful to fearful and really confused.

“Maria, would you /kindly/ explain what you are doing?” Evangelyne’s voice isn’t exactly cold but… chilly, yea. Definitely a little on the cooler side. Waa, those ruby red eyes can be seriously scary even when they’re super calm.

A entire battalion of lancers are running around the inside of m head screaming uncontrollably and Evangelyne being so... so... /her/ is not making it ANY better.

"Look Evangelyne, can't you trust me a LITTLE bit? Once? Just a little?" I can feel my Will surge up from the base of my spine, swirling and boiling upwards to my navel and through my chest towards my neck.

Great. This would be the third time in two da-- calm down. Calm down, by the Saints. She doesn't mean it like that. She's so frustrating, but she's my friend. I close my eyes for a second and think of a cool mountaintop and the power slowly fades away.

Fighting the wish to just pull the blanket over my head again I open my eyes and look at her, hoping that there is not too much annoyance left in my look and voice.

"I'm sorry... really sorry. Just... uhm... right..." This is way too awkward, can I please just die right now? Helena seems at least a little better off. Well, "better". She seems almost angry at me. The way this girl changes from one mood to another is more than a little strange. At least she's not crying, I guess that is a little better? But no, that doesn't mean she's fine. Dammit, me, stop reacting to everything so badly.

Almost... almost as if she wanted them to forget she's even there. Ha, as if someone would do that. Then again, maybe it's a training thing. Not everyone can always pay attention to everything and they're not fighters.

Evangelyne looks from me to Helena, playing with a strand of that strangely grey hair.

"She is correct. Lady Maria, if you would?" Eriadne gives me her hand and helps me off the bed. Goodness, I need to get /out/ of this blasted dress.

That would be really helpful, Like I said we know everyone has a role and have a rough estimation of what that is:
(Maria = Defender, Sora = Striker, Eva = Support, Liliana = Diplomancer, Helena = Healer Eriande and Twins = Casters (Loremaster and whatever a watcher thing is supposed to be))
But we have no idea what any of the limits are what each thing is supposed to entail or how we're are meant to spec anything or any information at all about how any system works or is defined.
It's kind of frustrating.

The idea being that if you don't get the update out say by falling asleep or having to go the thread will die but it stops it from dying on you while you're still writing.

To be honest if we can get this one update a day system working sufficiently for say the rest of this month you we may initially be in a position where you can go back to running 1 AToW thread a week on a set day running that unit we get a decent number of update then working on something like CCQ or a write up between threads.
That way we can get regular content and you won't burn out in a thread like when you went fast mode a while ago and you won't burn out on AToW itself because it's the only thing you're writing.
So it would become the main project but will give you a few days each week to write something a bit different to relax and stretch but you'll still be writing something every day with will be good for your development.
