It still astounds you that the Saben village has been left standing after the terrible conflict that just occurred so close by. The rampages of Broly and Gohan would have wiped them out for sure, were it not for a great deal of luck on the part of the villagers.

Still, as you land, you predictably find them cowering in their huts, likely expecting oblivion to come at any moment. A few stare at you from the shadows, constantly venturing from their homes to investigate your return to their village. No doubt, they have a great deal of questions, but, some of them are clearly too scared to ask.

"Is everyone alright?" you ask.

"W-we are alive," one of the Saben tells you. "Is it over?"

You nod. "You're safe now."

You proceed to explain to them all that has happened, about the identity of the legendary Super Saiyan, and how Paragus planned to use him to conquer the universe. You describe the battle that took place, including how your friend took the form of a colossal ape to defeat the Legendary Super Saiyan.

"You and your friends defeated the Super Saiyan?" one of the Saben asks in disbelief. "It shouldn't be possible!"

"But we saw him up above, battling many foes," another Saben says. "We are surprised that he was defeated, he seemed to be winning. But, your friend who was able to transform into that great beast must be truly powerful indeed."

Can't really argue with that.

"You asked earlier if we had anything for sale. Trinkets, perhaps," another Saben tells you. "We have no material wealth, it is true what we said, that what we had was destroyed or stolen. However, we can offer you one thing."

The Saben holds his right hand out, palm facing upward, then cuts it open with his other hand. He turns his hand over, letting his blood fall to the ground in front of him.

"In my home, I make this pledge," he says. "Should you require my aid, you need only ask, and I will lay down my life for you. You have saved my life, and I will repay the debt if it ever becomes necessary."

Many of the other Saben begin to do the same thing.

"But, we have nothing else to offer you," one of the Saben says sadly. "Surely you want some kind of reward for all you have done."

You shake your head.

"Truly?" one of the creatures asks. "You are a strange creature...but one worthy of great respect. If you will not accept our offer, at least accept our thanks."

"Will your people be okay?" you ask.

"We will survive," a Saben assures you. "Much of the planet is now lifeless, and the forest burns, but life will return. And, with what you have taught us, we can sustain ourselves even in times of hardship."

"Well, I'm going to check the palace for something I can bring back home for a friend," you tell them. "Why don't you come? Paragus might have hidden your stolen items there. Maybe you can get them back."

Several of the Saben exchange nervous glances.

"I will go," one says, stepping forward.

"Me too," another adds.

Soon, you set off for the palace, accompanied by seven Saben, in search of treasure, and stolen possessions.

It's not an overly treacherous path, as Paragus had a path made from the palace to the village. However, the Saben do warn you to be wary of jungle predators. Luckily, no jungle beast attempts to ambush you.

Unfortunately, beasts of a different kind do.

As you near the palace, you find yourself surrounded by four soldiers of Paragus.

"And just where do you think you're going?" one of the armored warriors asks.

Reason I asked was because in that freeform DBZ game that I mentioned participating in a few threads ago, a player who just so happened to be playing a part-demon edgelord thought that would be a good idea to try, and so pulled an Osbourne and nommed the embryonic Cell when he and Trunks came across it.

Naturally, Cell regenerated and started absorbing him from the inside, so he in essence performed an emergency C-section on himself and blasted Cell (now the size of a small puppy) into dust.

Later during the quest we had 18 on lockdown in a secure location where not even Semi-Perfect Cell could find her, and he was rampaging around the world absorbing cities left and right, and when he came upon North City he made an interesting discovery, which led to him doing a broadcast on live TV that involved absorbing the regenerated Present day Cell (now the size of a large puppy), achieving his perfect form and then announcing the Cell Games on live TV.

Sorry for the little digression, but I felt it would be fun to share this little experience I've had recently.

Are we not even faster than these guys, even if they had the chance to fire a shot. Kaguya could easily swat them aside since at this point blasters are the same as guns, plus if anything these guys are probably similar to the Saben, since Paragus might have done the same to their planets with Broly,but were given better treatment since they could fight.

Cell advances by absorbing bio androids. 17 and 18 are the only other bio androids Gero created and he obviously couldn't factor in time travel. Ergo, 17 and 18 are the only options Cell was supposed to have.

WITH Time Travel, suddenly Cell has options. He never even got the chance to consider it in Canon because Krillin had the good sense to vaporize it fast. But now that it wound up being able to regenerate(especially since it had the cells of a bunch more people, including other regenerators), it was out in the world. The thing that let the player survive his monumentally stupid decision was the same thing that let Cell survive his attempt at take backsies.

Before the soldier has time to say another word or fire a single shot, you move behind him, firing an energy blast into his back, just as he did to his friend.

As the first soldier is vaporized, you extend your hands and fire a pair of energy blasts, destroying the two soldiers before they have the chance to react.

"I gave you a chance," you say to the dead soldiers. "I would have agreed to help you had you asked without threatening to hurt people. I didn't want to do this, but you shot someone and used hostages against me. You weren't worth keeping alive."

"The other is dead, too," one of the Saben confirms, examining the soldier who was shot by his own teammate.

With nothing else to do, you make your way towards the palace. Just to be safe, you sense for power levels, and find that most of the soldiers of Paragus are dead. In all likelihood, they perished when the palace was destroyed. A few of the survivors seem to be near the palace, while the others have fled into the jungle. You aren't sure if they'll survive, but it might be worth looking into later.

Soon, you reach the palace ruins, where trio of soldiers sit among the rubble, leaping to their feet as you approach.

"Hey, you came with Vegeta!" one of them says. "And you fought Paragus's son!"

"You killed them!" another soldier says. "And now we're stuck on this planet!"

"You're going to pay for that!" the last soldier says. "We're going to kill you! We might not be able to escape this place, but we can rule over it easily!"

You raise your power level, then split yourself into four Kaguya's.

"Stand down, and I'll get you off this planet," you tell them.

"Y-yeah right," one of the soldiers tells you. "You're stuck here just like we are!"

The other two soldiers nervously raise their hands above their heads. Seeing one, the third one angrily curses them as cowards before ultimately giving in and surrendering as well.

The Saben immediately move to search the ruins for anything of value that was stolen from them by Paragus. The soldiers remain where they are, under the watchful eyes of three Kaguya's, while the remaining copy helps sift through the rubble, searching for anything interesting.

Unfortunately, it soon becomes apparent that anything of value was lost with the destruction of the palace.
