Parcel is actually a chain of three islands, Xisha in the northwest, Hoang Sa in the east, and Parcel in the Southwest. The airport is an artificial "Gomi" island made out of landfill in the middle of Xisha harbor. From here you are more or less free to go anywhere.

I considered that but it involved a lot of wasted space. If I switched to 64x32 hexagons (double what I have now) I'd be able to fit boarders and the tiles wouldn't get as lost, but that would mean redrawing the whole map.

You take a monorail across the bridge from the airport to the ferry terminal, and catch a ferry to Hoang-Sa, Golden sands.

The ferry weaves through the multitude of ships at anchor, and the ride is fairly relaxing, at least until a J-31 swooshes overhead to land on the Chinese carrier battle group sitting in the center of the harbor.
The Chinese aren't the only ones acting like they own the place either. On the other side of you, you see some Japanese Kongō-class AEGIS destroyers staring angrily back at the Chinese.

You shrug. Her not being there will probably make it easier, you think actually, it might have been her idea to kidnap the kids anyways. The clone comment seems to have refreshed your memory, it was some weird science thing. El Presidente just went along with it because he was a a dirty old man.

Anyways, it's an excuse to hang out on the beach. The Trekjet is floating in the bay, and they'll probably come ashore on that ridiculous submarine tank thing.

Hoang-Sa means golden sands, and of the three islands, it has the most impressive beaches. This might not be a bad choice to stay, provided you can find a place for sale or rent. Reading Lexi's report told you that it also has a Yakuza controlled red light district, and that Ronin Tactical provides most of the security services on the island. You can see some of them playing beach Volleyball further down. it doesn't look like it would be very hard to muscle them out of the area. They make you and your girls look almost professional.

As you turn your attention back to the waterfront, sure enough you spot the Trekrover paddling its way to shore.

Chase is driving, and as soon as she sees you, she turns the vehicle and brings it to a stop, leaving the engine running. She pops the hatch and leaps out, landing both feet on the sand with a thud. Hilde says she used to be a man before steroid abuse turned him into a woman, you're PRETTY sure that's a joke, but it's a very easy one to make.

She's about as tall as you, but twice as muscular, with light brown skin and dirty blonde hair. Wearing a tank top and Cammo pants. A Shrike 5.56 is slung across her chest, and two pistols are strapped to her hips.

Janie chase is the doctor's daughter, and if Hilde is to be believed, clone. She's a bit older older than she was when you tied her up, but still younger than Talya, and wearing a bikini most parents wouldn't allow a girl that age to wear. Then again, most parents avoid letting their children run around unsupervised in a south American dictatorship.
The third girl is named Sari, or Hijabi, or something you can't remember. They adopted her while adventuring in south Asia. She has dark skin and her hair is covered by a headscarf, but she doesn't seem too concerned with modesty because the rest of her body is only covered by a bikini.

You decide the time it would take to rent a car would be about as long as you would take using public transportion, and that you would get a better view of the city walking.

As you board the bus to the ferry terminal, you take note of the Ronin Tactical patrols. The locals seem to view them with contempt. As if the police called in response to noise complaints, were also the frat boys who called them in the first place. Their habit of walking around kitted up for Mogadishu doesn't seem to help either.
Thankfully they don't seem to have much influence off the island, the ferry and airport both have their own contractors who handle things much more professionally.

The Trekjet is still floating in the harbor and the ferry ride back to Xisha is much less eventful than the one the previous day. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, you board the monorail and arrive at the airport just in time to catch Tericia and the twins in arrivals.
