It takes some doing to slide back into the booth around and into Koyomi’s empty pantomime of a hug. She had the good sense to try and resume the position she had been in before everything happened. You grip the key hanging around your neck tightly as you watch time resume once you’ve gotten yourself awkwardly back within Koyomi’s mimicry of her earlier hug.

The world around you restarts with a crash as broken glass explodes from the front door. Everyone turns with a start toward the door, no one noticing that you and your baby sister aren’t quite in the same position you had been in an instant before.

“Wah?!” Koyomi gasps to suddenly find you inside her arms.

~Its okay, sis,~ you calm her down while everyone is marvels at the broken glass.

Attendants rush up to the door and make quick work of investigating, keeping the patrons back, and trying to clear the dangerous mess. One gets sent toward a back door to direct folks who wish to leave through the side door. Yeon eventually gets on the phone to report the vandalism.

No one besides you and your sister aware of what transpired.

“Is everything okay, Mikage-neechan?” Koyomi asks in a hush, “What happened with Plu-”

~Its done,~ you cut her off, ~Everything is okay now and you don’t have to worry,~

“But,” she begins.

~Its over,~ you place a firm hand on her shoulder, ~And I don’t want to talk about it,~

She nods and resumes hugging you. Her earlier tears cut off by the unique circumstances that continues to be your lives.
