I'm bored, let's make an Eldar Craftworld. Someone give me a d10.
>>
Rolled 1 (1d10)

Rollan.
>>
So, we allowed the Mon'keigh to discover us M32 or earlier. "Or earlier", typical mon'keigh record-keeping...
>>
Oh, and I'll need a d8 for craftworld biome.
>>
Rolled 1 (1d8)

>>39765648
Awww yiss. I love creation tables
>>
>>39765735
Seems we are a jungle world then. Can someone please roll anything but a one?

>>
dice+1d10
here's for you!
>>
>>39765797
fail detected :)
But anyway, I understand. The instructions aren't that clear.
>>
Rolled 7 (1d10)

Eh, I'll roll again.
>>
>>39765847
We are a craftworld of healers.

I have nothing to say on that, so let's move on:

d10 for strength.
>>
++Imperium's First Encounter Date++
>When was the Craftworld First Encountered by the Imperium?
M32 or earlier

++Craftworld Biome++
>What biome can be found on the Craftworld?

Path of the Healer: This Path revolves around healing others.

How much military strength can the Craftworld muster? (d10)

>>39765609
I'll be honest, I'm in that sort of mood.
>Let's make this have a lot of half human eldar.
>>
>>39765871
L-lewd!
>>
>>39765871
That sounds like... what did the mon'keigh call it? Ah, yes: HERESY!

Nominal Strength

>Next roll is:
What tactics are favored by the Craftworld's Autarchs? (d8)
>>
>>39765893
We are at nominal strength. Good, let's hope we don't lose any more.

d8 for tactics.
>>
>>39765908
Btw Farseer do you find my posts annoying or I can continue with them? I don't want to bother you dude.
>>
>>39765918
I think it'd be better to save the summary for when everything's done... Less space taken up.
>>
>>39765906
roll?

I'm not used to rolling, so I might fuck up.
>>
We heal by sexual conquest.
>>
>>39765944
Oh but for Khaine's sake...No, we will not fall to the wanton fornications of She-who-thirsts. And begone from here, shapechanger!

Rolled 7 (1d8)

In the interest of moving things away from this pit of debauchery, I will cast the dice.

>>39765997

Hint: It is the one that is not a slaneeshi infiltrator.
>>
>>39766018
Shock and Awe is our preferred method of combat, what better way to prove our superiority to the lesser races and the deamon-worshiping maniacs?
>>
>>39766030
you mean us?
>>
Roll a d10 for favored unit. (I keep forgetting to add the next step to these posts...)

>>39766036
If you are a daemon-worshiping maniac, then yes obviously the term "daemon-worshiping maniacs" applies to you.
>>
can love bloom on this craftworld
>>
>>39766090
No, it cannot.
>>
>>39766090
>can love bloom on this craftworld
Considering there was a half eldar/human space marine anything is possible.

he was even an ultramarine and was in an early edition.
>>
>>39766107
Did you not hear what I just said?

Why are there so many eldar children?
What do eldar children even look like?
Come to think of it, I don't even think i've seen a pregnant eldar.
Am i pregnant??!

It seems it is up to me to once again put an end to this...

Cast the dice!
>>

Do you want to be raped literally inside out for all eternity? I swear, kids these days have no fear for she-who-thirsts...

1d10 for aspect warriors.
>>
>>39766168
Oh?! Hot Jetbike action.
>>
>>39766167

regardless
>chaos cultist
if chaos eldar was a thing.
>>
>>39766238
technically chaos eldar are a thing, they just don't have models or rules for tabletop
>>
>>39766256
REALLY?! I didn't think that was a thing. I had a major argument with a person why dark eldar aren't chaos but instead are something in between?

Well, I'll leave it up to you all, since I'll have to leave for a while. If things haven't fallen apart completely, I'll return in about an hour or so.

> Path of the Healer: This Path revolves around healing others.

So their Farseers and Warlocks are expert Biomancers?
>>
>>39766595

I think this is an entirely different path but i like the idea of it even if you cant play with it.. except for one warlock-power.
>>
>>39766610
Though a Farseer that can cause his mates to reconstruct their bodies on the atomic level and get greater toughness would be awesome...and broken...yet still awesome.
>>
>>39766653

Awesome but without rules. except if you house-rule that your farseer gets the power the warlocks get as Primaris or it is the primaris power to every psyker in your army.
But given how strong eldar are- or at least how strong people say they are- i guess nobody would give this houserule ago...
>>
>>39766683
Indeed...

Or maybe simply make them into some sort of Eldar versions of SoB Hospitaller Sisters.

Only pointy eared and with a lot of materials to use in healing. Since they live in a Craftworld with a Jungle biome, then it must have substances they'd use in medicine.
>>
>>39766784

possible but as far as i know it is something more... psionic? On the other hand you could think of something like psy-active herbs which they grow in their jungles.
>>
>>39767019
A good idea. And their psykers are here to monitor the mental health and the brain activities of their patients. The latter to see if they are still alive or to wake them up from comas.
>>
>>39767051

do Eldar have Comas? I imagined their bodys would have been made better that that. But I like tha part with the Psycic "Heartbeat monitor". By the way, what better way to see if your "perfectlx tested medical drugs" are working but by looking in the brain of the one who uses them?

Oh goods, i already imagine them being like Chinese people. Being after rhinox-Horn and such things ....
>>
And because beeing a kind of gardener is part of the Healers Path a lot of their structures are designed with nature in mind and made in symbiosis with Flowers.

I think i will use this to make the background for the new eldar-army i want to build. Everything fits perfetly. I just need a name.
>>
>>39767089
Well in their case the only types of coma they'd get are via psychic forces assaulting their minds or physical impacts that won't kill them yet will cause them to fall into one.

Also I think that apart of horns they'd be like >>39767118

I mean substances for medical stuff can be found in not only animals, but also in plants and minerals.

That would be a nice thing.
>>
>>39767181

i double posted, sorry i felt inspired.

That give an idea why they fight, they need to secure viable ressources for medicine. Be it animals, herbs, minerals or whatever.

given all the things we write here i would say the craftworl hero could be a fersser. would fit more i guess but it is not entirely ours to decide.

Also the reason why they could be a high populated cratworld could be their - even for Eldar - high medical standarts.
>>
>>39766328

Predator craft world confirmed. Hopefully our main foes will be Catachans.
>>
>>39767282

or nids?

we still need a good name
>>
>>39767249
Even higher than in any Craftworld.

The Farseer would actually devote his life to go out and save other Eldar lives without the whole manipulation stuff Eldar usually do and thus the whole Craftworld took his mentality as their own when he passed.

And by saving any Eldar I'd probably think Dark Eldar too...and ALTANSAR.

I'd also think that they'd even go so far in these rare moments as to even save Tau, Humans and anyone that isn't a Necron, Nid, Chaos Worshipper/Daemon, Ork and such.

>>39767282
>>39767301
These would work.
>>
>>39767346

so you could say Love definetly blooms on this Craftworld??

ahh this makes a great secon dreason to fight. Because sometimes, to save llifes you must kill. chaoos, nids, catachans, Space marines, Mechanicum or orks etc...
Thus their nominal military strength. Im writing this all down to make a text so i wont forget it for my craftworld.
>>
>>39767407
I'd say that a Craftworld where the Path of The Healer is dominant would be the least jerkass and arrogant. I'd even say that these Space Pixie Fairies would actually be closer to Isha's teachings.

Isha is the goddess of fertility and life, so she'd actually hold all life dear to her. Not only that of Eldar.

I can understand why wouldn't they take care of Necrons, Chaos Worshippers/Daemons, Tyranids and such. But in case of the Blueberries, Catholic Space Nazis and their Dark Cousins (as well as the Space Clown Pixie Fairies) would deserve help.
>>
>>39767537

well close to Isha means very few to none Wraith-constructs. Maybe Knights because thy are needed (and because giants striding through giant jungles look awesome) and of course because they need aliving twin to function. Wow this actually makes them a little bit less overpowered.

Well, in case the ultra smurfs mind their own busines everything is fine but when they destroy life (for example an exodite world) they would react.
>>
>>39767704
Indeed. The only Wraith Constructs they'd have would be the few Wraithknights they have and probably a small number of Wraithlords (and even a Wraithseer who was in life their aforementioned hero).

They'd be like the nicest Eldar one would meet. But piss them off and they'll inflict the same terrifying damage they work to heal and mend.

And in case of their enemies I'd add Nurgle and his minions. Ya know diseases, suffering and stuff.
>>
>>39767816

Thisonly gets better and better. Need a second page of paper.

Maybe somebody should write this up into a text, or a story. maybe put it on 1d4chan or something?

Again we need a name. something which embodies Isha but also possible death (if you piss them off). Their Rune definetly has a bit of a heart!
>>
>>39767901
Aylis-Nasturcane

Their rune is a burning soulstone that represents both a possible death and great vitality.
>>
>>39767950

well that sound nice. Is there something like an Eldar Alphabet or such things?
Has anybody else any ideas?
If not then i guess things are seetled for our Name.

..somehow i got the feeling that there are only 2-3 poeple posting in this thread anyhow.
>>
>>39768096
GW is stingy as hell about this, but there is this http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Eldar_Lexicon

Also I'm getting constantly sushi as captchas.
>>
>>39768129
>http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Eldar_Lexicon

Thank you, and i dont giva a fuck what GW thinks about this Craftworld. But sadly there was nothing helpful for another name. So i nobody has any objections we settle on Aylis-Nasturcane. Thanks to the anon who provided it!

By the way, i got 2 times coffee,1 beer, 2 times wine, and one time bread or something. Fucking captchas.

while im writing this, make this 3 coffee
>>
And when I leave, the actual interesting discussion happens... I take it the Hero is a Farseer then? Then I'll need a d8 roll for his/her deed, if anyone's still around.
>>
Rolled 3 (1d8)

>>39768391
Here ya go, turn's out that Hive Fleet Fafnir Finds Wraithbone to be completely delicious, and the Murk Raiders get some nice loot out of the whole thing.
>>
>>39768391

I am. Yes the Farseer it is. But i guess we could determine her Deed by logic. Something against Nurgle or Tyranids would be cool. And by doing so maybe saving millions of (Eldar) lives by healing a plaque (of course the Inquisition sees the healing of imperial citizens with something else but blind faith as pure heresy so we have another archenemy)... any ideas for details?
>>
>>39768458
That could work, it's either that or outmaneuvering a dark eldar raiding party and killing an archon.
>>
>>39768551

As much as it started random but given the flavor we gave it would make killing a nurgle demon and thus finding a way to heal a plaque (eben heal humans) a more fitting deed. Also that the Inquisition as another archenemy is good.
Well Allies is all thats missing:

ideas? i guess nearly every life worth the name could be named but maybe we have a favourite? Outcast humans? another craftworld? Maybe the mysterious Harlequins?
>>
>>39768259
Yup. No problemo about this.

>>39768551
Would go for the first.

We're dealing here with a Craftworld where the Path of The Healer is dominant.

>>39768607
If they are worshipping Isha and actually follow her full teachings, then they'd be allied with everyone that don't try to actively destroy life.
>>
>>39768685

no objections.

i guess we need someone who can write a decent story... i would try for myself but i am unexpiereinced and i am invited to a nice evening in a bar in about half an hour so....

anyway, something we still need? details anything? Or can we consider Craftworld Aylis-Nasturcane, servants of Isha finished?
>>
>>39768781
Welp I'm tying us to Hive Fleet Fafnir and the Murk Raiders >>39758749, any questions? I do have some writefagging that ties the two together, I'll just grab it:

++++Records translated from interactions with Craftworld [Aylis-Nasturcane]++++

>Fafnirs breath
>The foul mist exuded by the chimneys on the larger bioforms of this hive fleet is part Fungus, part Tyranid Parasite, generally the Infection spreads through inhalation of the spores and is infections in concentrations as low as 1ppt, first symptom is usually a cough, typically mistaken for some other disease, the next symptom is the production of large amounts of red flecked white phlegm, which if not destroyed will start to grow and spread and begin to sporeulate within about an hour, next the patient develops a rash of white pustles, skin contact with the patient must be avoided at All costs during this stage. The patients condition then degenerates rapidly and they suffer from a [TRANSLATION NEEDED] before expiring, the body then collapses in on itself leaving a pile of white semi-fungal material about the size of a [TRANSLATION NEEDED]. this mass will start to generate a constant cloud of spores within an hour if not completely eradicated, and will begin to produce lesser tyranid bioforms if left for more than a day.

Craftworld Aylis-Nasturcane is an unusual place, as are the Eldar that inhabit it.

Discovered after the Horus Heresy, the Eldar of this Craftworld follow the Path of The Healer, as well as the teachings of Isha to the letter, which is seen as something extremely unusual by non-Eldar as they actually care for life.

At first contacts with them were sporadic, but during the horrid incursion of the Death Guard warband led by the Chaos Lord named The Plague Meister on the Hive World of Martusus in M34 did the Craftworld muster its forces and aided the defenders against Nurgle's worshippers and servants.

After that gruelling battle the Guardsmen thought the Eldar of Aylis-Nasturcane would turn on them. Instead, to their shock-induced surprise, the aliens started to help treat those in need of medical care, be it Eldar or human. They did not care for glory. They did not care for what other Craftworlds thought of them. They however cared for those that were in need. Those who were beyond their reach, they let these die without feeling the pain as they eased it.

When reinforcements arrived from the nearby sector along with an Inquisitorial fleet of Ordo Xenos, the Lord Inquisitor save the healed people to be infested with the taint of the witch and thus deemed the Hive World of Martusus to Exterminatus.

A month later said Lord Inquisitor was found in his own chambers eviscerated and with a Eldar chainsword in his chest. On said chainsword was the sentence in High Gothic: "We treasure life no matter of race. But those who destroy life will experience their own medicine."

i will go now. thank you guys awesome thread!
>>
>>39769103
Since then, the Inquisition became the Craftworld's most hated foe for the destruction of Martusus and would actively go and prevent Exterminatus to happen when there was a chance to save life.

The Death Guard and everyone associated with Nurgle also became targets of the Craftworld's vendetta. Although they knew that Nurgle wasn't simply associated with diseases and decay, and that he was in fact a personification of death and rebirth, they saw that what he did was needless suffering and torment as those affected by Nurgle's Rot died in excruciating pain. For that they even went so far as to show how much they are displeased with Grandfather Nurgle's policies by sterilizing one of his plague planets with extreme prejudice. When they were finished, the entire daemon world was nothing but ashes and rock. Nurgle wasn't amused when he learned of this.

Necrons and Tyranids became one of their newest targets in the late M39. The first due to their use of Shackle Scarabs on living beings and their sterilization of planets (though they'd only target those Necrons that would do so), the other due to their horrid hunger that drove them to devour life.

The Craftworld is known, apart for their medical capabilities, for its hit and run tactics with massed jetbikes and heavy use of Striking Scorpions Aspect Warriors. Due to them following the teachings of Isha to the letter, they have very little Wraith Constructs. And even then they'd rather not try to resurrect the dead in these forms, though going to Crone Worlds will sadly require of them to call in their Wraithknights and Wraithlords to action if they are going to need new soulstones.

The Craftworld itself has a jungle biome rich in various substances both plant and animal. There are even expeditions committed by Aylis-Nasturcane to look for even new substances, as well as unique minerals they'd use in their psyko-medical researches to further perfect their skills as healers.
>>
>>39769478
Indeed. Thanks to the Craftworld's incredibly high medical standards (which are even greater than those in other craftworlds), and their focus on both the Path of The Healer and medical technology that is further improved by their Biomancers and research into medical substances, these Eldar achieved the size that rivals that of the main Craftworlds.

Though they cherish life and would go so far as to aid even their enemies (again, those who wouldn't try to destroy life), this made them go into conflict with certain Craftworlds. Especially after Aylis-Nasturcane called out them for their treatment of Craftworld Altansar after it was hauled out of the warp by Maugan Ra himself. This act of solidarity actually caused the Harvester of Souls himself to express silent gratitude towards them for backing his people, and the ire of certain Craftworlds...
>>
>>39768869
Go on...
>>
”Farseer, farseer!” A small child came running down the path, closely followed by her friends as they cheerfully laughed and played. “Can you tell the story of how you beat that nasty daemon again?” he asked, giving the older woman his biggest grin.
Farseer Nytha smiled back at him weakly, absentmindedly touching the wrinkled and scarred flesh that covered most of her left arm and face. She should feel sorrow over it, of how she was forever disfigured by that terrible daemon’s cursed plague-fire. But, she was not.
The battle had left a major foe and a threat to the craftworld banished, and greatly increased her people’s knowledge of medicine and healing. She nodded to the young child, Farlahn, she recalled. He shone up and motioned for his friends to gather round, half a dozen young eldar sitting down in a half-circle just to hear her old tale.
“Well, as you know our craftworld had encountered a string of mass-infections, plagues spreading from world to world. Wherever we went, million lay dead, bloated, shriveled or rotted from the inside out. Eventually we learned of the daemon Mrakalthan and his foul followers, the architects of this disaster. They sought to carve a prayer to their thrice-cursed god with the planets left dying in their wake. We could have found them easily, back then my master Galachaen was the craftworld’s prime farseer, and his skills outclass me by far even today. But, we felt compelled to stop at each world, helping the people and learning more about Mrakalthan’s handicraft. He called it his “Ink of Bereavement”, if I recall.”
>>
>>39769640

The children sat spellbound. They had heard this tale many times, but every time she told it differently, adding or rewording details in such a way that no retelling was the same.

“When we finally did find them, it was on the planet they called Hope’s Ruin, a once thriving human settlement reduced to a barren waste by the daemon’s own hand. They did not see us coming until we were in their midst, taking out their commanders and tearing apart defenses. I lead a team of Dark Reapers, using my powers to guide them to the most necessary targets. And just when they thought that they had a handle on the situation, our legions of jetbikes swooped in, causing further panic. I’m loathe to say it, but I was actually so caught up in our imminent victory that I didn’t even see the daemon before he was right behind me.”

She lowered her gaze to the ground. That was something she had never revealed before, she usually just said the daemon had attacked.

“They say Nurgle’s daemons are fat and swollen, but this one was pale, bony and thin, like translucent skin draped over a mon- over a human skeleton. The Dark Reapers opened fire, and I tried to peer into the future, to divine all possible outcomes of the battle. But the mists were too thick, and the daemon to fast. In the end I don’t even recall everything, just that we fought for what felt like days, that he wielded a sword carved from the bone of some incomprehensible beast of the warp, and that he smelled like rotting death. In the end he spat his Ink at me, and that is how I got these scars. Blindly I charged in rage, and my spear pierced his skull. The next thing I know I am back on the craftworld being tended to by Haedanar…”

They all sat quietly for a moment, before one of the children seemed to want to ask something. Nytha was quicker: “Yes Thalear, Autarch Haedanar walked the path of the healer back then.

I keep forgetting that 4chan fucks up formatting from Word...

Anyway, critique? I'm new to writing, but I though I should give it a try.
>>
>>39769680
Go on...
>>
>>39769661
I've been lurking for a while, i have some input if you don't mind. But here's critique, pardon my ignorance if any:

>rotting flesh
'putrid decay'

>spat his ink at me
confused what 'ink' is? Perhaps... 'spewed corrosive slime at me'

This is just a bit, I can proof read the rest if you wish?
>>
>>39769748
That was the end of that story, I tried ending it on a lighter note... I could try something else though.
>>
>>39769783
>>39769779
Bearing in mind i read about the “Ink of Bereavement” but i'm confused, why Ink?
>>
>>39769779
Thanks.
"Ink" is capitalized since it refers to the previously mentioned Ink of Bereavement. Might be a bit confusing though. And the "rotting death" was supposed to be a bit exaggerating, like when you say it smelled like death, but worse. Maybe a tad un-eldar though...
>>
>>39769606
That was really all I had at that point, sorry
>>

Man that made me hungry for more...
>>
>>39769806
It was a bit of an artistic description because of the whole, "writing a prayer to Nurgle in infected worlds", so it was the "ink" he used to write it with... Maybe that didn't come across like I hoped it would...

I'll dump the Hive Fleet Fafnir+Murk Raiders stuff if you wan me to:

>Mutant Pirate IG Infantry equipped with ADVANCED WARP TECHNOLOGY that ride Super tough and Sneaky Nids led by a tag-team duo of a Super Lictor and a Super Carnifex
> Both the IG and the Nids live in a Giant bug the size of a planet. They travel in the Giant bug, exploring new frontiers for PLUNDER AND SCIENCE!
>The Nids to the heavy work lifting in their psychic and poison tactics while the IG support them with bullets (their warp technology allowing them to assist the bugs with their own flavor of mind bullets).
>Both somehow work together with each other in apparent jolly co-operation but secretly the nids control them through slow integration of nid parts into human DNA without the presence of a cult devoted to stealing denim pants (a.k.a.Genestealer cult).

(cont)
>>
>>39769905

(cont)

>Nids reason to work with the IG because they think working with humans (although mutant ones) are a frontier they've never explored (as they've already mapped the realms of om nom and CONSUME).
>Problem is, it's just that their loyalty isn't popular with mainstream way of showing Loyalty to the Imperium, Much of the Imperium would rather see the IG/Nid team dead because of the equation (IG mutants + Nids + Jolly co-operation = so many Jimmies rustled).
>They also drew the ire of the Eldar. Much of the shenanigans caused by team B.I.G (Bugs & Imperial Guard) have thrown all their keikaku into ruin. For details: Shadow of the Warp = bullshit. Sneaky and tough nids = More bullshit. Nids can use psychic bullshit while they can't = Even more bullshit. Nids are supported by IG equipped with Warp Technology = Raege inducing bullshit.
>Chaos however likes them a LOT. The mere fact that this heretical team exists which rustles the massive jimmies of both the Imperium (and Eldar), and are able to get away with their shenanigans (with the Corpse Emperor's approval no less!) pretty much checks off everything in the list of requirements to be a "Friend of Chaos"
>>
Gonna do a color scheme for them. Sadly there is no interactive Eldar painter, so I'll use DoW II's.

I like it, Eldarish, but not garish. I'd field these guys. Care to list the whole scheme for those who want to use it in-game (me)?

Mistaken with the Space Wolves Grey thing.

1-Ice Blue
2-Hawk Turquoise
3-Mechrite Red
4-Fiery Orange
>>
>>39770819
Excellent, definitely says 'nature' and it's quite serene and mellow, the red eyes hold the fury.
>>
>>39770877
Wanted them to be Fiery Orange...but that painter doesn't allow for changes in eye color.

Would represent fiery vitality AND asskicking fury.
>>
Just a thought: should we get a contracted name for Aylis-Nasturcane, like Ulthwe for Ulthanash Shelwe?

In that case, I propose Ayurcane or Aylicane
>>
>>39770932
Also, this is a tad presumptuous, but should we archive this on Sup/tg/? Been a while since a good Craftworld was added...

Hang on, I just got here. This is pretty awesome. Craftworld Predator with mecha.

Give me a sec to read the thing.

>>39768685
Perhaps we're trying to rescue Isha? Given that she's still alive, we might be able to draw power directly from her.
>>
>>39767249
Nothing has been said about population; just that their military potential is tiny, which suggests a very small population.
>>
>>39771016
That seems a tad... ambitious. But perhaps a long-term goal, or a sort of great pipe dream.

>>39771030
Their military is of nominal strength, where did you get "tiny military potential" from?
>>
>>39771053
Yeah, it's a pipe-dream, their obsession. Perhaps they try to unite the craftworlds in that aim while most other eldar just laugh at them and focus on Kaine and Ynnead. Could result in them being somewhat isolated.

Do they have lots of bone-singers, do you think? I can see it as a growth and vitality centered idea, but I don't know if there's fluff on how Eldar see it.
>>
>>39771110
Is there a roll for bonesingers?
>>
Well, I finished another short story. Less plot here and more seeing the day-to-day work of the craftworlders.

I must say I'm growing fond of these guys...
>>
Nytha’s skin tingled and impossible-to-describe colours flashed before her eyes as she exited the webway. When last she had been down here, the sounds of combat and dying had filled the air. Now, only the wounded and buried remained. A bombed-out hab-block had been converted into a hospital for the humans, who couldn’t be brought to the craftworld for security reasons.
Everywhere she walked, she saw bleeding and shivering people lying in droves, eldar healers and human medicaes alike tending to them, working in pairs to bridge the knowledge gap between the two species.

Two Striking Scorpions and two of the human elites –Kasrkin?- stood guard outside the room housing the wounded general, as well as Autarch Haedanar.

Both of them had been wounded while fighting against the enemy commander, a hulking ork warboss called Skullsplitta’. The two Eldar nodded to her as she passed, and the guards eyed her nervously, perhaps expecting a trap.
Luckily for them Aylis-Nasturcane doesn’t turn on those in need.

>>
>>39771156
Genuinely contemplating basing them around a new eldar list.. Which incidently will be a tournament list, the only sad thing is it won't contain striking scorpions. But bikes on the other hand.............
>>
The room itself was freezing, the cold helping to slow the symptoms of the Sporefever, a common effect of fighting orks. Usually it’s not dangerous, but there was no known cure, and the sneezing it causes could end up rupturing one of the seams keeping the two soldiers together right now. They didn’t seem to care though, and were telling war stories to each other, every boisterous guffaw causing the attending healers to visibly panic.

“Autarch, the fleets are ready to cauterize the northern wastes, which should stop the Orks from returning anytime soon.”
Haedanar jerked his head to look at her mid-sentence, nodding with a smug grin on his face.
“Good, and tell Dranathen here to lighten up a little,” he motioned to the healer, who rolled his eyes and sighed, “Or I’ll have to get one of those Mon’keigh docs to patch me up instead. At least they know how to have a laugh.”

“Human,” Nytha offered, “and you should lie down.” The Autarch laughed at her, only to wince in pain as one of his stitches audibly burst.

Nytha stayed while Dranathen patched him pack up, and would never forgive herself if he died. He may be a stubborn, careless fool, but he was an old friend. Besides, it was her fault all along, she had lied to him, she had seen that he would be gravely hurt, but that it was the only path that would have lead to their victory without even greater losses. The human general seemed to be much better, being mostly machine by this point. He was smoking some type of lho stick that filled the air with a thick, heavy smoke, having responded to every attempt to take it from him by literally snarling at the doctors.

>>
Sometimes Nytha could see why most of her people looked down on the humans.

“You know what? You Eldar aren’t so bad as they say,” he exclaimed between drags, “Wonder why the pencil-pushers are so afraid of you? The church I understand, what with ‘filthy xenos’ and all.”

Nytha decided not to react to the casual slur, and turned to leave, deciding she’d put her faith in Dranathen’s skill, and get out of the heavy smoke.
“We are sworn by the path of Isha,” she casually remarked as she left, “but other Eldar are still quite dangerous.”

Well, that's all for me tonight.

I'll archive this for posterity, then hit the hay.
