After stuffing The Hunter in a pod, just to heal him enough as to where his injuries aren't going to be immediately fatal, with instructions to alert you immediately if anything happens, you're left with a bit of peace.

I won't lie, I'll be a little disappointed if this Vegeta doesn't at least start out a little bit like this. While I'm all for us having the ability to influence her towards non-canon standpoints, it's a little weird to first gender-swap the character and then just make her . . . what? Vegeta was a nice counter-point to Goku, someone who had a sense of twisted nobility crushed beneath the need to bring back his race, taught that all ideals had fallen beneath the power of Frieza. He was the epitome of someone who had lost their way in the search for more power, and while they occasionally used their once-noble goal to justify it in the end the power was what had become important to them.

I didn't say it would make her panties wet, or that she would fall in love with us or any shit like that, moreso that it would just impress on her the fact that not only are we stronger than her, but that we might have the Saiyjin ability to grow beyond our previous limits.

This Vegeta wasn't just put down for being a dirty little monkey, weak, and all the shit from canon.

From day one under Frieza's rule she was also treated like trash for just being a woman, all of the shit you'd expect, possibly even some sexual abuse if you choose to believe it.

So she gets stronger than her canon counterpart, but it's not enough, she's still weak.

You treat her like a person, you act like her friend, you want to actually help her, and you hate Frieza JUST AS MUCH as she does.
