Your bionic operations were already scheduled and arranged to start whenever you wanted. To optimize the times and not stress and mess the other operations dates you ordered to have all the operations done one by one until they were finished. According with your calculations it would approximately take about six days with another four days for rehabilitation and training. It would be ten days in total, a great deal of time that would reduce the deadline until the hunts began.

There was plenty of work to be done yet. You had to go to the Administratum spyre and fulfill the forms to inscribe your army in the participation. The Administratum was a branch of the Imperium that managed all the bureaucracy and necessary paperwork to make the Imperium of Man run smoothly.

It was said that the Imperium itself could be comparable with a mighty Baneblade. First of all like the holy battle tank, the Imperium was also massive.

The civilians were the hull and defenses of the tank, as they are the ones that have truly built the Imperial cities…and also because in most occasions they were the ones that were most affected by the battle damage.

The Mechanicus was obviously the gears, they were not only responsible of locomotion and everything working in order but also of making the electricity (a metaphor for machine spirits) power the tank’s systems.

The Administratum was the oil that bathed the moving pieces and made them work properly and without any unnecessary stop.
>>
>>40014040
Psykers were the promethium, necessary but otherwise totally toxic to human life, besides it is said that fire is the only true way of assuring that a psyker is dead.

The Imperial guard were the many bullets that the tank is able to shoot, numerous and weak on their own but totally devastating when in great numbers and coordination.

The Astartes were the explosive loads of the main battle cannon, big and powerful, they were few but the instant they were deployed they would destroy everything unholy on their paths.

The Ecclesiarch was the unseen voice that used the vox-caster; it was a voice that told what to do at all time.

Finally, the Emperor was driver, guiding the tank towards the enemies of the Imperium, the Imperial saints and other holy figures like some Primarchs were also considered the gunners and controllers of the vehicle, aiding the God-Emperor as he saw fit.

There were many other comparisons and variations. Some said for example that abhumans were the unique and odd pieces that any kind of complex machine had. Others that the Inquisition was the auspex that was always in the search of enemies…

>Inscribe your army in the Administratum Spyre

First things first. You had to inscribe your army, otherwise your chances of participating would be equal to zero. It was still early, that was a good thing because you knew how maddening and confusing the bureaucracy could become, specially to make such an important form were thousands of people from all across the galaxy participated.

You downloaded the map and using special algorithmic machine spirits calculated the fastest way of reaching it and which trains and paths to take.

A few minutes later you were once again into a train that would soon exit the shielded area and directly immerse in the void and lose gravity for a few minutes. This train was crowded with lost looking scribes and workers, the stink of sweat and cheap recaf hit your nose as you had to make your way into it. You felt somewhat anxious and asphyxiated. You were used to isolation and the company of machines or other peers similar to you, finding yourself surrounded with people that looked apathetic and almost braindead made you feel strange and out of place.

When the train went into open space and gravity ceased to pull matter the mass of people that were congregated inside turned into a slab of meat that simply floated and softly pressed against the different walls as the train changed direction, the air also became filled with floating water drops and wrinkled newspaper pages.

As soon as the tram reached its destination and the doors opened the occupants left the interior as a herd of beast and almost trampled you down, you had to quickly stand up and move away or otherwise another flock of workers would push you inside once again.

Your robe was wrinkled and dirty, you felt disgusted and even somewhat ashamed of such human indecency.

The tower was massive and rectangular, filled with small square windows, they were lit or off in an irregular pattern, making it look as confusing and chaotic as the people that worked inside.
>>
>>40014596

Once inside the discord was multiplied a hundredfold, there was a massive background white noise formed by the thousands of voices that spoke at the same time. Most people wore the same similar Administratum uniforms but there were many other persons of different environments, for example guardsmen or merchants. It was really eerie how distressed all those people clients seemed and how apathetic all the Admnisitratum workers looked in comparison.

The first thing you did was asking in the information both, It seemed to be the most crooked and age-worn place, it wasn't because it suffered a bad care or maintenance, it was the fact that it was visited by so many lost souls during the day that their presence had made the floor and furniture around it age faster in comparison with the rest of the building.

Your first step in the completion of the necessary forms and such was a pleasant one. The old and sleepy worker that attended the Information booth was pretty experienced with her cogitator and somewhat managed to give you all the aid that you needed even if her movements were incredibly sluggish and her voice was stuttering.

Most people were able to accomplish this same step that you did, it was when they forgot what they had to memorize when the problems started. Luckily your mechanically augmented brain was able to store the information securely.

You got into a massive elevator of about 30m2. Each of its four walls was a door and depending on the floor you were in and the door you left by you could end into one dependency or another. Since using cables on such a big machine would be way too dangerous there was a central pillar where the button panel was and that also acted as a rail to travel with.
>>
>>40014623
This column had four button panels, each was identical to the other four, and this was done so people wouldn't have to circle it all. In theory this was a good idea because in the times were the elevator got full reaching the backpart was nigh impossible, the bad thing was that there were four panels with at least 200 button floors for only one elevator. As you had the pleasure to experience from time to time the computer dedicated to calculate the quickest path to all the chosen floors sometimes failed and skipped one of the stops or completely shut off and left about 70 people enclosed in.

It took you four long and painful hours of elevator were you saw the transport missing your floor over and over, the only time were it stopped correctly it was so full of people that you didn't managed to get off the floor on time. By the time you managed to get off the floor you discovered that you did using the door "D" and that you would have to get out by using the door "A". That floor was separated in four different parts for each elevator exit and they weren't interconnected, you had to once again get inside...it was then was the computer froze and got you locked between your floor and the one underneath it.
>>
>>40014644
Honestly, you even though into using your weapons and killing everybody inside and breaching the door but the Administratum had a way to stop such acts, from the speakers of the elevator a greenish gas started to pour, you managed to analyze some of it before breathing, it was relaxants, a way of avoiding everybody into going full postal, since it wasn't a poison your lungs weren't able to filter it out and thus your killings instinct became calmed.

When you managed to finish all the papers and such the clocks marked one am. You had spent almost 14 hours inside that damm building, but at least it was over.

>Tell your army about the hunt and start training them.

After your trip to the Administratum you returned home and found the two sisters once again having a sleepover with Alaria. They were starting to grow up very fond of each other and that was good, but had to be restricted to some degree. Once again you had to sleep on the bathtub.

The next morning after breakfast you spoke with them and told Liwet and Mellizune that they had to spend more time with their mother now that she was feeling somewhat down. They answered back saying that they wanted to spend the most time they could before being separated but you were stoic on your stance.

Everybody had to learn from time to time that orders for the leaders have to be followed even if they are against our desires. This was a hard lesson but it was for the best.

Alaria and Mellizune, the youngest girls, started to cry. Liwet pouted and looked at you with some fierce eyes but after she was done with the glares she deeply understood that you weren't doing it for the sake of bothering her. Mental maturity said to her that you were right, as the leader of the trio she ended consolidating them and carrying her sister back to their mother.
>>
>>40015369

"Alaria. I am sorry...but you will someday understand my orders. Now finish your cow derivative calcium lactem and come with me."

You stood up and sent to all your Skitarii a broadcast message summoning them into the Skitarii temple. You had a speech to do.

Once everybody was reunited you managed to see that some of them had new implanted bionics and that their robes were altered to look somewhat more like ponchos. They soaked themselves with the culture of the Space Station and that reflected now on their fighting styles.

"Temple of the Skitarii Æterna. We are reunited here today to communicate you a good announcement. As some of you could already know in this particular system there is a planet were the abominable xenos known as the Kroot inhabit. The local guardsmen recruits are sent to their planet each year to hunt down those beast and control their population levels. This also acts as a fire trial to test their spirits!"

People nodded and some raised their weapons in respect to those guardsmen.

"The good news is that this year we will also participate! All the training that you all have taken so hard and for so long will finally bear its fruits the moment you fire your triggers and sink your blades onto those alien pests!"

There was a cheerful roar of mixed human and mechanical voices. Alaria became somewhat frightened.

"Participation isn't voluntary, you all became Skitarii to show the superiority of Human technology over foul xenotech!"

The rest of the day was spent with extra hard training. The sound of crackling weapons and clashing swords could be heard all across the Cruiser. You participated too and showed Alaria that even if it was scary it was something that had to be done.

In comparison with yesterday this one felt short and full of diversion. Before you noticed it was late night and your protegee was sluggish and yawning.
>>
>>40015382

You created a timetable with established hours of preaching, and different training to make it more organized and then headed to bed. You were really happy, you managed to give your army and objective.

You take a couple of trains to reach into the Adeptus Mechanicus Spyre and take the lift to ascend into the Medicae level. After walking across the white corridors and their chemical disinfectant smell you manage to reach his room.

The Skitarius Nintar is peacefully asleep with some bandages on his head and several presents surrounding him. Obviously most of them are from Skitarii or Techpriest, both of its own temple and yours. Most Skitarii have gifted him bullets for his revolver while techpriests have decided a more technical approach and gifted him tools. There are some other noteworthy presents like a crown of flowers from the Adeptus Arbites and a new and expensive looking robe from someone that has singed it as R.M

And you, the person that had headbutted and made him end hospitalized have no gift for him. You weren't used to social customs but you understood why a present was necessary, specially coming from you.

You had to return to the docked Cruiser and rummage for throne coins until you had a decent sum. Honestly so far all that you had gotten was gifted or found by pure luck. Using money looked even somewhat alien to you after such a long time making a real transaction.

In the end you decided to gift him a tub of wax for his weapons and a new bandoleer for his ammo. You even worked hard on the bandoleer and decorated it with metal filigrees and an inscription of his name.

When you returned it was dusk, well, not really. In space stations like that everything that could be seen from outside was nothing but the void, unless you were rich enough to be able to afford pict-screens that simulated a sky and covered your windows with them.
>>
>>40015827
After knocking on his door and entering you noticed that he was awake and eating a highly nutritive grub paste. He seemed to be happy to see you but the encounter was still kind of awkward.

At the end to warm things up you decided to say how sorry you were and he in exchange asked for forgiveness too. He was angry his brother died and let the rage overtake him for an instant, you were just the messenger of the bad news that ended receiving a punch that didn't really deserved.

You asked him about the Kroot but he didn't had any answer for you. His work was in the station, fighting the pirates that tried to attack and loot the newcoming ships. He heard some stories about them and the different hunts but seemed to be rumors not to be taken very seriously.

According to him the Kroot were able to take many forms and each of them was more vicious than the previous one, as if they were able to evolve in such big leaps. Ridiculous.

Your chat stretched until late night and with the last train you headed back into your ship to sleep peacefully next to Alaria back in your bed.

Your army is inscribed and already training. The time to get your new augmentations is now. With incredible skill you quickly get into the nearest terminal and send the orders your next operations, after that you contact with the Skitarii couple Faust & Eugen and explain them that you are going to be on the operation room for the next six days. They end agreeing taking care of her during that time and kind of see it as somewhat of a training for when they become parents. You also encourage them to train her with ranged weapons so she starts becoming into the warrior she desires to be.

After ordering the breakfast from the ratling cook you go to the bathroom for your hygiene procedures and rituals. It is good that you don't have a face nor a jaw anymore, having to shave and cut your hair from time to time would be really time costing. You ended getting lost on your thoughts and wondering why you didn't had a face at all, it wasn't like your current bionics needed you to remove your face muscles... There were many things of your past that you weren't able to remember at all, you faulted it all to your brainchip that maybe damaged your memories...or maybe it was Karelia, that had found a way of toying with your brain.

By the time you came back to your sense you looked at yourself, your reflection was no more since the mirror became all condensed from the hot water faucet that you had readied to brush your teeth. You cleaned it with a towel and your hands and in the middle of it you noticed that they were shaking.
>>
>>40016366

In the middle of your shivering hand examination someone knocked on the door, waking up Alaria in the process. It was the ratling cock that carried with him a cart filled with sweets for her and recaf and other stimulants for you. What if the Inquisitress had poisoned the food with some drug to make you forget things. She couldn't use her powers to turn you into her puppet but there were undoubtedly many other ways of achieving that.

She was a loyalist agent of the Imperium you remembered to yourself to try remain calm. You ended skipping breakfast and letting Alaria eat your portion, you would spend almost an entire week on serum and other nutrients, you are going to lose some weight anyway so...

After throwing your part of the food into the bin you explained everything to Alaria and accompanied her to the Skitarii duo. She complained saying that she could stay with the two sisters but you insisted that she still needed to train hard. After you left her she was holding back her tears.

You entered into the operation area and became guided into the operation room and then laid back on the cold metallic table. Five minutes later you were completely anesthetized and asleep.

During that time you didn't dreamed anything. It was strange the times that you dreamed. It was like as if you were kind of empty or broken when it came to entering into the REM sleep pattern.

When you woke up you felt strange, your muscles were somewhat sore and your ribs were more visible, your head felt really heave and when you stood up having it stay still was incredibly tedious, for some reason your head always tilted to the left now. Guess you would have to get used to it sooner or later.

With your body still sore from the operations you started to do more chores.

The first thing you do is enter into the Cruiser's own Librarium. Maybe she might have good non diluted information sources. Like the rest of the HQ of the Cruiser it was once part of the Mansion where Karelia used to live back on her homeworld.

Thousands of long bookcase stands forming the columns and walls of the place that seems designed somewhat like a labyrinth. On the entrance there is a plaque that reads the following.

++Every speck of knowledge is another step. Study those books with moderation because the man that walks too far away it is doomed to get lost.++

As you enter you are greeted by a dust filled servoskull, it seems that nobody has entered there in months, maybe years. It carried with it a form in case you want to rent any book.

You look the many books and see that while some shelves are ordered others lack many books or even all of them. Some others have fallen and created small mountains of books. Climbing on top of one of those small hills you managed to look at the horizon and see that indeed the order of the shelves formed a small labyrinth of some sort, it even had curves and spirals on it.

Unable to find anything good you decided to head to the streets and ask around, chances are that some of those people have participated or heard from those hunts.

It was the first time that you entered into the outer rings of the Station were the people lived. There was barely any private transportation like cars with the exception of many manual groundbikes, the people on those area seemed to be of a mid-low income level and live in communities unlike the noble spyrers that had towers for themselves.
>>
>>40017182

Unknowing where to go you ended roaming around. People seemed happy and cheerful yet somewhat wary of your presence. Their bodies were kind of gaunt and pale, undoubtedly an effect of the lack of natural sunlight and the extended periods they had to spend of zero gravity when working outside or using the trains to travel around.

Most of the people you asked were scared of you and ran away or shivered in fear, they thought you were some kind of boogeyman that would turn them all into servitors, children were the most scared ones. Apparently there were some purges in the past when those neighborhoods became ridden with drugs like Frenzon. More than thirty years had passed since then but the fear still stood.

It was an old and nice woman that knew that not every member of the Mechanicus was to be afraid of the one that helped you most. She started asking you to come with her hands and after a long tale about how beauty she was in her young years and how she even dated a techpriest woman when she had some sort of rebel period and wanted to try new things. After her babbling she ended trusting you and decided to help you.

Using her advise you could head into the Munitorium building to ask for the recruiters about it. There was also the chance to visit a retirement home not far away were some veterans lived. You could maybe visit some pubs and bars were other people had worked, a hospital could work too.

>Visit the Retirement home with the Vets.

The place is a great house surrounded by gardens and with many busts and statues of Imperial soldiers and heroes that you can barely recognize with the exception of Macharius.

Inside there are several old people surrounded by several a few Hospitalier sisters that seem to administrate the place and its nursing employees.

Like you many of those veterans carry mementos with you, be it a charred piece of metal or the bony and fragmented claw of a xenos enemy. For anybody else those objects would be little more than junk, for them they are keys to past events that let them revive it once again.

They are still wearing their gear to some degree, the most old ones aren't strong enough to carry their armors anymore and thus only carry their fatigues but some still have some pieces of ceramite armor on their bodies. Normally those pieces or armor if not damaged enough are taken back one their services are over and issued to another soldier but exceptions where some given as rewards are not unheard of.
>>
>>40017679
Those old people are mostly sitting in different groups with many impressionable young people around, in the balconies lied the veterans of the Navy and looked at the horizon remembering how they hunted planes or to the great void beyond to once again feel the same smallness sensation that traveling in a Cruiser gave them.

You got close to a group of children that was listening to a heavily augmented Imperial General speak about how they fought Tau and how they were so small and weak that even children like them could fight them off. As soon as those kids noticed your presence they ran away scared of you, the General gave you a stinky eye but then looked at himself and spoke.

"Those kids were ready to be soldiers and eager to fight the 'Lesser Good'!!" His own joke made himself lose all the anger that he had against you. "He, it's ok. Can't be mad with a techie like you, I would be little more than a torso if it weren't for your people. So, what are you here for? Does my arm need a revision? It kinds of leaks oil at night..."

Speaking of blatant heresy, what are we going to do with our warp biology knowledge? Are we going to make thralls or something? The trick with biological materials is it's very hard to make living things do what you want to do unless you have lots of specialized equipment.

>Introduce ourselves properly

"Greetings honorable Imperial General. I am Skitarii Heracor Nahive."

"Skitair? Never thought I heard that title before? You guys Ski in the air or something? You better talk with the pilots out there, they are nice but I hope you aren't a lady under those robes, they still think of themselves as youngsters and will try to engage you into one of their..."dogfights" if you know what I mean..."

You hushed him off and asked him to raise his arm, he seemed kind of nice but he was a general after all, a man used to see thousands of persons dying and worlds burning. If you looked at his arm he might be more amicable and be less lenient to share his knowledge with you.

It seemed that his arm wasn't correctly fixed with his musculature, maybe when he was young and fit his arm was held correctly but right now its shaggy skin ended clogging one of the folds and surely at night when he stood lying while sleeping it somehow made it leak oil.
>>
>>40018358
First of all you cleaned and shaved his armpit, it wasn't a nice job but it was a must do. When it was all clean and done you slowly started unfolding its skin so it didn't clogged the mechanisms and gears. For anybody else staying for so long with skin being mechanically pulled would have been really painful but someone so strong like him could be perfectly used to him to the point of having ending with his armpit desensitized.

When all was clean and well done. You started with the questions.

>Ask him about Kroot biology.
"Sir, what do you know about the abhorrent xenos known as the Kroot and their biology?"

"Uh? The Kroot? Yeah yeah, fought them back on Estellan Primus. One of them's the reason I have no arm no more. We were dueling, I was carrying my trusty chainsword, he was carrying a crude yet effective blade. A explosion on his back blinded me and since those creatures cannot fathom the meaning of honor it took it in its advantage and cut my arm down, I fell back and become shocked for some seconds but managed to stand up shortly after. When I did I saw him eating on my arm like a beast. Unable to fight him properly I used my once organic legs to stomp and grind his face against my still chainsword holding hand and cut his neck while kicking the back of his head. Not a clean death, not a glorious one, but by the Emperor, I felt really good after that..."

'So, now I know that they eat human flesh, that's not a good new' You thought to yourself.
>>
>>40018383
>Ask him about Kroot technology.
"You said something about their blades, can you explain further?"

"They can smelt and forge metal, but even with that skill they are little more than animals. There are not true tanks on their lines, they are beasts and use beasts. I...forgot the names of most of the creatures they use, but there isn't any true technology that I think they can use."

>Ask him about the hunts.
"What do you know about the annual hunts sir?"

"I am not original of this System so I didn't participate on it, I had my own trial tho. Some of my soldiers participated in the hunts, they seemed to be brutal and fast, but they if they survived that they could survive everything else that the universe threw at them right?"

>Ask him about the tale he was telling.
"What was about that tale that you were telling?"

He grunted and the snorted.

"The tau! Damm blue freaks. Cowards! That's what they are. I have found training punching bags that hit harder that they do!"

He then started to rant about how one day after a ork attack an agri world started receiving orbital shipments of aid, but that it was from the Tau in a attempt to bring them to their strange cult. The story didn't go much further than that, he fell asleep in mid sentence.
>>

You returned home late as usual. You didn't had much to do really but you still spend most of the day and ended tired.

Your stomach growled in the middle of the travel. You looked around and found some few coins from the day were you had to buy something on the wounded Nintar.

As soon as you left the station you searched for a vending machine. You found a big and clunky machine, It looked like an old model that most people seemed to ignore, it was rusty on the outside yet the food on the interior seemed fresh and edible. There was a servitor on one side of the interior with a malnourished body, erected nipples and a dry mouth. It looked like the once person worked grabbing the desired product and carefully leaving it on the floor to be grabbed at. The servitor was surely forced to stand under the same low temperatures required to keep the food fresh and it seemed to be sentient enough to recognize those elements he worked with as food, thus explaining the salivation and his dry mouth.
>>
>>40018858

You sighed and felt sad for the man forced to stand there so hungry and unable to feed on his own. Your last thrones went to a couple of Grox burgers, you ate one, the other was turned into small balls and feed to him with the use of your dendrites. Before leaving you could imagine you saw a tear forming on his eyes.

Back at home Alaria was tucked on your bed and hugging a plush of some saint that you weren't able to recognize. You got on your pajama robes and got on the bed next to her, falling asleep seconds later.

After another dreamless night you stood up and once again asked the ratling cook to bring food to your room. You had almost spent an entire week without taking true care of Alaria and still, you still had so many stuff to do.

Let's teach alaria how to operate vox casters and the like, common machines found in the imperium and such. Start small, end big.
>>
>>40018874
>Take Alaria to your training. Focus on her teaching.

You would train on your own but also teach her what she needed. Spending time together would bond you two, you were her guardian after all.

After carefully waking her up and giving her breakfast you grabbed her hand and took her into the training grounds. Some onlookers found odd the fact that a techpriest was carrying a small girl like hand, she was also pouting during the entire way and that made it kind of adorable yet weird.

This had a purpose. She barely had any bionics on her, if you made her grab your mechanical hand and carry you she would start understanding that machines are something to be wary and respectful, but that they can also be considered something to trust and even your friends.

The cold and hard touch of my mechanical fingers against her soft and small hand made her shiver slightly but after about five minutes she got used to it. This was a common sensation between novice users of bionics, they would have comfort problems with the different temperatures of their skin and the metallic parts, specially during winter and summer.

Once in the training area you examined her by using a medical scanner. She seemed to be healthy and the only bionic she had so far was a hearing aid that she medically needed. Technically stat wise she was a regular infant human.

You didn't had planned turning her into a weapon or teaching her combat training. Her body needed to be at least fourteen to be strong enough to endure such training, right now any wound could become crippling for someone like her. Basic and passive training would be way better.
>>
>>40019225

The first thing you did was giving her a comm linked with your vox caster and a book about the basics of technology. This book was so simple and easy that it was even permitted for not Mechanicus members to read it.

While you trained on your own on the adjacent room you made her read the entire book loud and asked her questions from time to time. At first she was reading it hesitantly but at the end she became the one that asked you things, you had gathered her attention.

At the end of the day you were somewhat more skilled with your new bionics but you would still need a little bit more. You ended returning to your room next to her while she ended reading the book.

Where do you intend to build this anyway? I mean, aside from the fact we have higher priorities like preparing to not be butchered by kroot.

I thought she didn't care about the frigate?
>>

Perhaps but I assumed she was more than happy to still take it from Karelia to spite and deprive her if nothing else.

Liwet is still planned to be her bodyguard after all.
>>
>>40019360
And? Still salted to be a gift unless Karelia changes her mind.

Besides Karelia will find it if we build it on her ship or keep heading to the frigate to work on it. This is a trap option anon.
>>
>>40019388
We can probably convince Karelia to not give her the frigate, seeing as she said something along the lines of "I don't care about your stupid frigate"

know it's not the end of the session yet, but your writing is frickin' phenomenal. This quest is awesome, and you're awesome for taking the time out of your days to tell tales to /tg/. I don't catch your threads all that often, I usually read them on the archives, and I want to say it's been one of my favorite ways to spend an hour or two every few days.
>>40019302 Also get so many khorne dubs, goddamn.
>>
>>40019414
Karelia set this up as a test for us ijit. She'd ask us why we're so interested and then sweep it for anything heretical. This is one big trap cause she still doesn't trust us.
>>
Since the only option with more than one vote is training I'll go with that.

>>40019414
Karelia had planned gifting Liwet, the army and the frigate. The big important thing was Liwet, the army and the frigate were just incentives to convince Nalasha.

Only a little bit more than a couple of weeks before we have to head into the hunt. Your army has been training hard so far and seems like Alaria has started getting less clingy with the sisters and focusing more on her future as possible techpriestess or skitarius. You called to the ratling cook and asked for the same as always plus to cook something that included fish, eggs, beet and iodised salt. All those ingredients were intelligence stimulants and her still developing brain would really benefit from such diet even if she doesn't enjoys the taste.

Since the cook would need more time to search for the ingredients and preparing the meal you quickly headed into the Mechanicus Cathedral and looked into their library for more books that could be useful for Alaria. After booking them you returned to your room, she was still resting with the still unknown saint plushie on her arms. To kill time you started washing you remaining teeth and cleaning yourself until the cook knocked on the door.

You tipped him for the good work with the toothbrush still on your hand and the paste falling from your mouth.

"Smells good, thanks for your excellent work sire."

He looked at you funny, maybe because he wasn't used to good manners, he answered back explaining the reason of his expression.

"Sir, I know I am nobody to judge...but I usually eat and then clean my teeth. Since you are a member of the Mechanicus you surely know more than I do. Do tell, have I been cleaning my mouth in the wrong order? Do I have to clean and then eat?"

This was understandable. You cleaned your teeth to avoid rot but you didn't used them anymore. In fact all your food was compressed and pushed into a opening in your neck that connected with your throat.

"Do not worry cook, you have been doing it correctly."
>>
It's past midnight for me, this will be the last post of today before the 30 minutes for questions and so.
>>40019902

He looked even more confused, wondering why were you brushing your teeth in the wrong order on purpose. You just gave him your last coin and sent him away.

You ended eating it all and placing all the books around Alaria and at her reach. Then you wrote a note for her.

"Dear Alaria, please stay today at home and relax. You have plenty of food and books to learn about. I'll return at night."

With this done you touched the place were once were your lips and then her cheek.

The training went fantastic. The first day you started getting the grasp of your objects but right now you felt truly connected with them. By the end of the day they were another part of your body, another part of you.
>>
>>40019933

After returning the room looked messed up, Alaria didn't only study and eat but also took a bath and played for hours, disordering your already established mess.

The last hours of the day went with you ordering for something to eat and ordering it all. It was kind of understandable because she was still a child but she needed discipline.

It'd be nice to check in on him I reckon

Anyway, thanks for running.
I guess I'd like to ask about our remaining teeth? I'd thought we'd had none for a while now, and that aside surely our replaced skull means we don't have organic teeth left anyway?

How do Alaria, liwet, Mellizune, Karelia, Julianus and nintar thin of us?

What do the generals think of us signing them all up for the hunt? What do they think about us mastering our bionics in half the time?

Any chance we may face sabotage attempts from the governor during the hunt ?
Also, there was a discussion about the quality of the plasma weaponry affecting the overheating rolls, how good is our rifle ?

>Alaria
Teacher/Guardian. She's still somewhat wary of us.

>Liwet
Teacher/Protector. She might have a crush on us.

>Mellizune
Teacher/Protector. Both her and her adoptive sister have fake memories with Heracor being their teacher. She doesn't remembers the bad influence her father had on her nor what we did to her so, she's pretty friendly with us.

>Karelia
She's suspticious of everybody. Being the member of a secretive cult doesn't helps her trust us. She might like that since we are blanks we cannot be truly corrupted but at the same time being blanks kinda makes her hate us. She has conflict about what to feel.

>Julianus
Started hating you because we didn't rescued him and we jumped of the Chimera instead of going with him. He is slowly starting to grow some respect on you.

>Nintar and the Generals
They still don't know Heracor enough. They respect him for his position.

>>40020045
>Any chance we may face sabotage attempts from the governor during the hunt ?
Well, its a possibility. If she ends sabotaging and killing a lot of soldiers she might not meet the tithe and be fucked thought. Besides if the sabotage goes wrong she might risk herself to the vicious Kroot. She's still crazy and heartbroken enough to do it I believe.

>Also, there was a discussion about the quality of the plasma weaponry affecting the overheating rolls, how good is our rifle ?
Our rifle is of a strange pattern but otherwise normal quality. We could always try to improve it, if the rolls go wrong we would lose the gun and maybe also an arm.

Our plasma rifle instead of sending blue volleys of plasma fire sends smaller and colder ones of a green plasma that corrodes metal and organics after the impact.

>Do we get paid for our work? Surely we should get some money to spend aside from gifts.
Well. Yes and No. I like to think that Heracor has some kind of account were Oihan and now Karelia has been paying him thrones. But honestly, if all those bionics we have gotten freely have been paid from his money then he surely isn't really rich.

Are we ever going to see other members of the imperium again? It might be best to start speeding up through the next fifteen days. because besides things like building workshops and talking/training with people which we'd do anyhow, we're not ultimately getting much done. That is, if you want to skip. It's always fun to read, but there's no need to show 15 days of idleness. A simple update question for things the questers may want to do, and a short description of what ensued would be fine. It's your quest though, you're in charge here.
>>
>>40020351
What do you mean with other members of the Imperium? The guard? Well they are going to fight next to the Skitarii army. About Oihan, Arwa, Fire in the Skin and so on there is a lot of chances of them reappearing in the future.

About the timeskip yeah. I thought the time would be tighter but I guess one month was too much, and I felt like two weeks was unrealistic.

Nah, space marines can purge worlds and be ready for steel rain in 5-10 minutes flat. Time is always of the essence in the 41st millennium, and heresy grows from watching cartoons and twiddling thumbs. You don't need to be soft on us, we will find a way. With all the cool robot shit we got, it's time to see why it's all needed in the first place.

Well. About the anon that wants the workshop. I guess that if everything goes fine and the MC gets his revenge and becomes the rules of his planet I could make a second part of this quest and turn it into a Civ Quest.

Forge World Civ Quest. Sounds good?
>>
>>40020559
It could be, but if so I think he's on the right track. We really haven't discovered anything on our own yet.
...Which is expected, seeing as we're skiitari, but it's vital to the techpriest identity. Learning how to praise The Omnissiah, and getting involved in dubious research.
>>
>>40020732
We're on an inquisitor's ship. Said inquisitor is a control freak and very suspicious of us. She'd execute us without a second thought if she caught the smallest whiff of this.

Dunno, we're eventually going to get into some serious shit over time if we go rogue.

Didn't some tech priest infect some girl with nurgles rot just to try some random cure that failed on it in Khornette quest? That is something that is extreme heresy.

Honestly, the techpriests maintain technology more than they innovate it.

That aside though, it's not that I DON'T want us to do dodgy research. I simply respect the fact that there's a time and place and being under the close scrutiny of an inquisitor IS NEITHER OF THOSE.

Hell, we've established with this whole giving Liwet away thing that Karelia is STILL testing us. How exactly is doing illiciit research NOW a good idea?

I meant doing it if we end the quest with Heracor as the ruler of his old forge world.
>>
>>40020824
That's wackery on suptg's end. You can't upload the same thread twice, it doesn't let you.

Also voting on one counts as a vote for both. It's basically displaying the same thing twice for unknown reasons.
