Tien rushes towards Cell, throwing a chop that the bio-android ducks beneath. As he rises, Cell brings up his right arm to block a punch, then fires an energy blast into Tien's chest, knocking the man back and giving Cell time to retreat to the ground.

"Tien, I had expected more of a challenge from you," he laments, staring up at the three-eyed man with disdain. "The match has barely begun, and I already grow bored of fighting you."

"Bored?" Tien snaps. "Fine, you want entertainment? Let's see how you like this!"

Tien lets out a yell, and his power begins to climb rapidly, far surpassing the strength he displayed against Vegeta. The air howls around him, and you're fairly certain you can see sparks dancing along his skin.

"Man, Tien's come a long way," Goku comments.

"His power's incredible," Piccolo agrees.

"Yeah, Cell doesn't have a chance!" Yamcha declares with excitement.

"I'm not so sure," you confess. "I want Tien to win, but Cell's not stupid. He probably has some trick up his sleeve."

"No doubt," Piccolo agrees. "The only question is whether or not Tien can handle it."

"Ah, finally letting your true power run free," Cell remarks, sounding somewhat impressed. "This is more than I expected from you."

"Yeah, looks like you bit off more than you can chew," Tien tells him, coming to land not far from Cell.

"We'll see," Cell replies, not sounding worried.

Tien rushes forward, slamming his fist into Cell's gut. As the bio-android hunches over in pain, Tien steps back, slamming his elbow down onto Cell's head. As Cell falls face-first to the ground, Tien rises into the air, pointing down at his immobilized foe.

"DODON RAY!"

A thin beam of light shoots down, piercing Cell's left arm. Another pierces his right arm, then his legs, and finally, his head. Tien remains airborne, staring down at Cell with total focus.

Cell pushes himself to his feet, staring up at Tien in mild confusion. "What was that supposed to accomplish? You know of my regenerative abilities. The Dodon Ray is an entirely useless technique when fighting me."

"I had to be sure," Tien comments. "After all, your brothers weren't so good at putting themselves back together."

Cell growls. "YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH!"

He explodes into the sky, slamming his fist into Tien's cheek, then kneeing him in the gut. Tien elbows Cell in the side of the head, and Cell responds with an uppercut to the jaw, knocking Tien back.

"Let's see how you deal with a taste of your own medicine," Cell comments, pointing at Tien. "DODON RAY!"

Tien dives as the beam of light zips towards him. Narrowly avoiding the attack, Tien comes back to ground, forming a triangle with his fingers and staring up at his foe.

You remain silent as Cell looks down at Tien in disbelief.

"You can't be serious," he tells his opponent. "That attack drains your life force, and even if you hit me, I can easily regenerate."

"Tri-"

Cell's eyes widen, and he vanishes from sight, appearing behind Tien and slamming his elbow into the back of the human's neck. Tien stumbles forward, gasping in pain, only to fade away as Cell kicks right through him.

As the afterimage dissipates, Tien appears behind Cell, repaying him for the previous attack by slamming his elbow into Cell's neck, and kicking the back of Cell's left knee, causing the leg to buckle.

Cell spins, throwing his elbow right through another afterimage. He turns back around just in time to catch a punch thrown by Tien. Tien slams his knee into Cell's gut, and Cell answers with a headbutt. Tien responds by punching Cell in the face, and Cell answers in kind.

The two remains rooted in place, testing each other's endurance as they throw punch after punch. Finally, Tien slams his knee into Cell's jaw, punches him in the face, and kicks him in the chest.

Cell slides across the ring, and Tien rushes after him, only for Cell to leap into the air in retreat. Tien follows, quickly passing Cell, and forming a triangle with his fingers as he hovers above his foe.

"TRI-BEAM, HA!" he yells, sending his most powerful blast down at a still ascending Cell.

"A-aaah!!!" Cell screams as the blast reaches him.

The blast plummets to the ground outside of the ring, creating another crater from the impact. Tien stares down, then curses and spins as he senses Cell appear behind him.

Cell delivers a strong punch to Tien's face, then kicks him in the gut, causing your friend to spit out blood and hunch over.

"Goodbye!" Cell shouts before slamming his fists into the back of Tien's skull.

Tien plummets to the arena floor, going still as he crashes to the ground.

"One! Two-" the announcer begins.

Cell smirks, slowly coming towards the ground as the announcer continues the countdown, obviously not believing that Tien will get up in time.

"Seven! Eight! Ni-"

Tien pushes himself to his feet, and Cell stops his descent. The two warriors regard each other for a moment before Tien speaks.

"This isn't over yet,"

He launches himself from the ground, slamming his fist into Cell's jaw, then spinning and kicking him in the gut. Cell hunches over, only for his head to snap back as Tien elbows him in the face.

Another kick sends Cell flying away from Tien, but the human rushes right past Cell, slamming his elbow into the creature as it reaches him. As Cell cries out in pain Tien punches him in the back of the head, sending him shooting across the ring and into the air above the ground outside of it.

Tien rushes forward, slamming his fists down on Cell's head, and sending the creature screaming toward the ground.

At the last possible instant, Cell stops himself.

"Well done, Tien," he says with sincerity. "Hehehe, you nearly had me there. But now, I say it's time to end this."

Cell rockets back into the air, and Tien gets into a defensive position. The two exchange punches, with Tien blocking the first few before having a fist slammed into his face. Cell, meanwhile, blocks every last hit, and, after his first successful punch, kicks Tien across the ring before flying above the human and blasting him in the back with an energy wave.

Tien is sent crashing to the ground outside of the ring.

"Winner, Cell!"

You rush out to the stadium, making your way to Tien as he pushes himself back to his feet. Cell exits quietly, not sparing so much as a passing glance for either of you.

"That was an amazing match," you tell Tien as you hand him a Senzu Bean.

He rejects the bean, handing it back to you. "Thanks, and don't worry, I'm fine. I could have kept going for a lot longer."

He watches as Cell vanishes into the waiting area, then sighs. "I was so close. Had his reaction been a second slower I would have won."

He clenches his fists in frustration, then takes a deep breath and calms down. "Piece of advice. Be very careful if you fight Cell. I get the feeling he was holding back for most of our fight."

You walk with Tien back into the waiting area as the announcer informs the crowd that the Quarter Final round is about to begin. Gohan and Goku talk about their upcoming match, and Videl stands waiting to enter the ring.

The two of you stand side by side, neither speaking as you mentally prepare yourselves for the contest of strength you're about to face off in.

"The first match of the quarter-finals will feature two of Mr. Satan's top students!" the announcer shouts. "His daughter, Videl, vs Kaguya!"

The crowd cheers as the two of you walk together to the ring, climbing the steps and moving to opposite sides. The two of you turn to face one another as you wait for the announcer to call for the fight to start.

Videl drops into a fighting stance, smirking confidently.

"Good luck, Videl," you say as the match begins. "Let's give them a show."

Videl chuckles. "Sounds like a plan."

She mutters something you can't hear, and the ground beneath her begins to rumble as a bright glow surrounds her. Beams of light shoot from the tiles all around her, dancing and twisting as they rise into the sky, combining to form one solid mass with slowly descends, engulfing Videl before fading.

Videl grins at you as he power rises rapidly, and she explodes forward, charging toward you at top speed. You duck beneath her first kick, but she spins and slams her other foot into your jaw, sending you staggering back.

She gives chase, throwing a series of punches you scramble to block, and a knee strike that you lean back your head to avoid before dropping down and sweeping her legs out from beneath her.

Videl drops onto her back, then rolls backward, leaping to her feet and jumping back to the other side of the ring, gathering her energy for the next exchange.

Stopping herself as you pursue, she spins and throws an elbow that you catch in your palm, and a kick that strikes you in the side. An energy blast to the face knocks you away from her, and she rushes after you, throwing a kick that you duck beneath as you dive to the ground and plan your next move.

As you reach Videl, your fist slams into her jaw, and she is thrown back and higher into the air. You teleport above her and slam downward with your fists, sending her plummeting towards the ground outside of the ring.

At the last moment, she stops herself, and you fire an energy wave down towards her, only to have her kick it right back up towards you. You quickly move back to evade the attack, and Videl rushes up, slamming her fist into your face and spinning before slamming her foot into your cheek.

An energy wave slams into your chest and pushes you through the sky until, with a yell, you send it up into the sky above. You rush forward, and Videl rushes to meet you, punching through an afterimage as you attack from the side, punching her in the cheek and kicking her in the gut.

Videl spits blood as your foot sinks into her chest, then grabs your leg and slams her elbow down onto it, throwing all her weight into the attack. You hear a crack as your left leg breaks, and Videl releases you as you float away, one leg hanging limply beneath you.

"Oh, ladies and gentlemen, Videl's attack seems to have shattered Kaguya's leg!" the announcer tells the crowd. "He's in trouble now!"
Videl stares into your eyes, a serious look of determination on her face. "Give up. You're finished!"

"Sorry, but you should know me better by now," you tell her before firing a pair of energy blasts her way.

Videl sighs, knocking the two attacks aside without any effort, then dodges another pair you throw at her. You attack again, with the same results.

Yelling, and expending a significant amount of energy, you unleash an endless barrage of energy attacks upon her, watching as she blocks, deflects, or dodges each one.

Ceasing your barrage, you cup your hands at your side, gathering energy as your palms glow blue.

"Ka...me.....," you begin.

Videl prepares to dodge, then gasps as she sees hundreds of energy blasts floating in the air around her. She rushes towards you as you fire you Kamehameha Wave.

"HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

Your beam and your blasts shoot towards Videl, who holds her arms up to guard herself from the energy attacks. They collide in a booming explosion, kicking dust everywhere and obscuring your vision.

But, you sense her rapidly approaching, and bring up your right knee to block a powerful kick. Unfortunately, her next kick targets your left side, and you are unable to stop it. You are, however, able to retaliate, knocking your opponent back with a powerful punch.

Energy waves shoot at you through the smoke, and you swat them aside before answering with one of your own. You feel Videl quickly evade your blast, and sense her circling you.

Another wave comes at you, this one from behind, and you drop down to the ground below, coming out of the cloud and staring up into it.

You focus on her energy signature, teleporting as more blasts come screaming towards you.

You appear right in front of Videl, catching her off-guard, and slamming your fist into her gut before slamming your head into her nose. She quickly moves back, bringing her hand up to it, and you take advantage of her distraction, blasting her in the chest.

As Videl vanishes further into the cloud of smoke, you lock onto her energy once more, throwing a Flashbang deeper into the cloud and disorienting her before teleporting to her once again and sending her crashing to the arena floor with a strong kick of your right leg.

She crashes on her back, and sits up slowly, blood leaking from her nose. You slowly descend, landing in front of her and putting all of your weight onto your good leg.

You're not positive, but you're pretty sure that the two of you are even now.

Videl leaps to her feet, jumping at you again and throwing a spin kick that you barely manage to block. Still, the force of the kick shifts your balance, putting your weight onto your broken leg and causing you to collapse onto your side.

You roll out of the way as she throws an energy blast, planting your palms on the ground and launching yourself into the sky with your energy.

Videl gives chase.

You pick up speed as you climb into the air, and Videl does the same as she pursues you.

As she gets closer, you fire a pair of energy waves down at her, which she hastily knocks aside as she closes the gap between the two of you.

You parry her first punch, and block her first kick, but the next one slams into your side due to your inability do block with your left leg. You block her next punch, but the one after that slams into your face. Videl continues to attack savagely, unaware of the two blasts rapidly approaching her from behind.

They strike her in the back, and she yells in pain and surprise, stopping her assault and leaving herself open. You take the opportunity and give a solid punch to her face, then an elbow, and finally, a kick that sends her crashing out of bounds.

Slowly, you lower yourself to the ground.

"Winner, Kaguya! Next, Goku vs Gohan!"

As the crowd cheers, Videl hops back into the ring, quickly walking to you and grabbing you by the collar, her eyes burning and her lips curled in a frown.

Then, in front of everyone, Videl kisses you.

You hear some gasps from the crowd, or maybe they're cheers, but you're not really sure. You can vaguely hear the announcer saying something, but couldn't care less what it is. For what feels like a blissful eternity, everything vanishes besides you and Videl.

Then with a smirk, she pulls away, slinging your arm over her shoulder and helping you walk out of the ring towards the waiting area, where Yamcha is waiting with a pair of Senzu Beans.

"I'll say," Krillin tells you from nearby.

"Forget the fight, the real show was after the match was over," Krillin comments.

You and Videl pass the others, and you accept a low-five from Yamcha as you move. Gohan and Goku pass the two of you, and you wish them both luck.

"Now, we have the former champion, Goku taking on his son, Gohan!" the announcer shouts. "Both fighters have shown incredible talent in the past, and while heaven only knows the outcome of this fight, it's sure to be intense!"

Goku and Gohan face one another, transforming into Super Saiyans as the announcer calls for the match to begin.

"Come on, Gohan, why don't you show me your full power?" Goku asks.

"I'm not sure you can handle my full power," Gohan answers with a smirk.

Goku smirks in return. "Trust me, I can. Now, go ahead and transform."

"Alright, you asked for it," Gohan tells him, clenching his fists and letting out a yell.

Gohan's muscles grow, and lightning flashes around him, the wind howling and ground shaking as his power shoots up. Tiles are ripped from the ground and float around him, as, with a final yell, he completes his transformation.

"Alright dad, now tell me, how do you expect to handle this?" Gohan asks in an amused tone, sounding even more cocky than he did a few moments ago.

"Like this," his father answers, letting out a yell of his own and creating a powerful gust of wind as his muscles expand and lightning begins to flash around him.

Gohan's eyes widen in surprise as Goku's power doubles, and, with a final yell, Gohan's father transforms just as his son did.

"Now, let's see if you can handle me," Goku remarks, stepping forward towards his son.

Gohan drops into a defensive stance as his father rushes forward, and punches through an afterimage as his father attacks from behind. Gohan turns just in time to catch a punch from his father, and throws a kick that Goku blocks with his knee.

The two fighters jump away from each other, and take to the sky, firing blasts of energy as they swiftly move to dodge those fired by the other. Gohan cuts through his father's blasts with a wave, and Goku swats it aside before rushing forward.

There's a loud boom as the two fighters collide, with Gohan blocking a knee-strike while Goku catches a punch. Gusts of energy are thrown in every direction as the two struggle against each other, jumping back once more before rushing back together.

They slowly climb into the air, trading punches and kicks as they rise higher and higher, sending out shockwaves every time an attack connects. Gohan delivers an uppercut into his father's jaw, and Goku responds by slamming his fists onto the top of Gohan's head, causing him to fall to the ground below.

Gohan lands on his feet, holding his hands over his head and gathering energy.

"MASENKO, HA!"

A golden beam of light rapidly ascends toward Goku, who lets out a yell and holds out his hands to block it. He's pushed high into the air before he is finally able to kick it away.

Cupping his hands at his side, Goku's palms glow blue as he gathers energy.

You stay silent and watch as Goku unleashes his attack.

"HAAAAA!!!"

A bright blue beam of energy shoots down towards Gohan, who leaps to avoid it. Goku redirects the wave, causing it to follow his son into the sky.

Gohan, seems to have expected this, however, and flies right up towards his dad before flipping just over his head and getting behind the other Super Saiyan.

Goku's eyes go wide with surprise as the blast reaches him, causing a massive explosion as it hits. However, when the smoke clears, you see that Goku is several feet away from where the explosion happened, entirely unscathed.

Gohan, on the other hand, is scorched pretty badly, and seems to have been pushed a good distance into the sky.

"Nice try," Goku tells him. "You almost had me there."

Gohan breathes heavily, taking a moment to collect himself as he slowly descends, floating just in front of his father.

The two warriors explode into action at the same moment, slamming their fists into each other's faces, then their knees into each other's stomachs. They both spit blood before throwing their next punches, hitting each other in the cheek, and being pushed away.

Goku ducks beneath a kick from Gohan, landing an uppercut into his son's jaw. Gohan's head snaps back, and he is soon subjected so several more vicious strikes at the hands of Goku.

However, Gohan soon catches a punch, and pulls his father in, slamming his foot into Goku's face, then blowing him away with an energy blast to the gut. Goku recovers just in time to swat away Gohan's next energy attack, and rushes forward, punching through an afterimage.

Gohan appears behind his father, punching at Goku's back, only for his fist to pass through an afterimage.

Goku throws a kick from his son's side, only to pass through an afterimage. Gohan appears in front of Goku, and punches through an afterimage.

This pattern continues for the next several seconds, before the two fighters put some distance between each other. They fire barrages of energy at the same moment, creating a smoke cloud as the blasts collide.

They rush into the smoke, and you hear them collide again and again before Gohan is knocked to the arena floor.

He quickly stands back up, and leaps back just in time to avoid a falling punch from his father. Gohan throws an energy blast that strikes Goku in the face, then rushes forward and punches his father in the gut before kicking him in the jaw.

Goku elbows his son, then sends him sliding back across the ring with a powerful kick. He rushes forward, only to be blown back by an energy wave.

Yelling in unison, they rush to the center of the ring, exchanging another series of hits before leaping back, and cupping their hands at their sides.

They unleash their Kamehameha waves at the same moment, and the two beams of light meet half way between them. The two Super Saiyans struggle as the wind howls around them, and sparks fly around the meeting point of the two attacks.

Finally, the blasts detonate, and both fighters are thrown from the ring, crashing to the ground, out of bounds.

"I don't believe it, ladies and gentlemen, both fighters are out of the ring!" the announcer calls.

It's a tough call, but you saw what happened. Goku hit the ground a second before Gohan did.

And, the announcer saw it, too.

"Gohan is the winner!" he declares. "Next up, Billy vs Krillin!"

"Congrats, you two!" Haya adds before turning her attention back to the ring.

As the match begins, you approach Shin, who seems to be in a perpetual state of shock and nervousness now, as opposed to his arrogant attitude from before.

His attention snaps to you as you approach, and he tries to regain some of his composure.

"Why did you try to interfere in my match?" you demand.

"Watch your tongue, human," Kibito instructs from nearby.

"Calm yourself, Kibito," Shin demands before looking back at you. "All will become clear in time."
