"Being vague and cryptic isn't helping anyone," you tell Shin. "In case you haven't noticed, we've got a legion of powerful people here from multiple factions. Some of them can casually kill this planet and everyone on it ten times over. That includes the both of you. And, if you try a stunt like you pulled during my first match, some of them will get very upset. So, why don't you just tell me what's going on?"

"How dare you make demands of him?!" Kibito snaps. "Of all the arrogant-"

"Enough, Kibito!" Shin snaps, sighing. "I'm sorry Kaguya, but some things must remain secret for now."

You smirk ."Come on, there's no need to hide things from me, Supreme Kai."

Shin's eyes widen considerably, and Kibito tenses, as if suddenly expecting a battle. You can feel the red man's power rising, but it's absolutely nothing compared to your own, so you aren't concerned.

Shin, to his credit, keeps himself together beyond the simple facial change brought on by what you just said. He stares at you for a moment, seeming to struggle with some internal question, then sighs in defeat.

"I suppose there's no point in denying it," he tells you. "Though I am curious how you discovered who exactly I am."

"And why you speak so brazenly to him despite knowing who he is," Kibito adds.

You glance over at Spopovich and Yamu, noting once again the fact that each of them has the letter m on their forehead.

"That emblem tells me their allegiance, and their mission," the Supreme Kai explains.

"And what is that mission?" you ask him.

"There is a very specific reason for Spopovich and Yamu being here," the Supreme Kai answers. "Spopovich seems to have a grudge against Mr. Satan, but that's not why he and Yamu have come. During your match, they saw that you possess a tremendous amount of pure energy. They are here to steal that energy."

"And how does that help us?" you ask. "And why are you here?"

"Because Spopovich and Yamu will lead me to their master," the Supreme Kai tells you. "And once I find him, I can end him once and for all."

"I have told you all that I can for now," the Supreme Kai says. "For now, focus on your tournament, and think on what I have said. I am fairly certain that Spopovich and Yamu will move against you again before this is over."

Thought frustrated, you do turn your attention back to the tournament, at least temporarily. You approach Videl and watch the ring, where an exhausted Krillin and Billy fight in close quarters near the ring's center.

"What did I miss?" you ask Videl.

"Well, Billy used some kind of attack that made a cage of energy around Krillin," she tells you as she watches the fight. "Krillin cut through it with a Destructo Disk, and they've been fighting pretty evenly since then."

Krillin manages an uppercut on Billy, then kicks him in the face, sending your friend sliding on his back closer to the edge. Billy leaps back up and fires an energy wave that Krillin ducks beneath, and the tiny man hits Billy with a blast that knocks him from the ring.

"Winner, Krillin!" the announcer calls. "Next up, Mira vs Cell Junior!"

Mira and Cell both smirk as they make their way towards the ring. Piccolo provides your two injured friends with beans, and the crowd stirs in anticipation of the next fight.

You decide against a further interrogation of the Supreme Kai. You doubt it will yield any satisfactory results, and Kibito seems aggravated with you as it is. There's no need to make things worse.

Still, you're concerned about their reason for being here, and whatever Spopovich and Yamu's master is planning. So, you send a mental warning to the others, telling them to keep an eye on Spopovich and Yamu, whom you believe will attempt something unsavory soon enough.

Cell and Mira, meanwhile, assess one another in the ring. You can feel each of them gathering energy, and can see stormclouds beginning to roll in.

"You're quite proud of your power," Mira says to Cell. "You believe there are none who can match it."

"I am the perfect warrior," Cell agrees. "From my skill, my power, my intellect, to my genetic makeup, I am the ultimate lifeform. There are no beings in the universe who are superior to myself."

"We shall see," Mira replies.

As the match begins, Mira remains still, and Cell rushes forward, throwing a punch that the other fighter quickly blocks. Mira punches Cell in the gut, twisting the bio-android's arm painfully before shattering it with his elbow.

Cell cries out in pain and shock, staggering back as Mira releases his hold. The blue-skinned man steps forward as Cell steps back, and Cell slowly retreats towards the edge of the ring.

Suddenly, Cell vanishes from sight, appearing behind Mira and slamming his elbow into the tall-man's back, causing him to stagger towards the edge.

Mira lets out a yell, knocking Cell away with a burst of energy before spinning and charging, throwing a punch that Cell catches with the hand of his previously broken arm. Cell slams his knee into Mira's face, then kicks him in the gut. Mira slides back, and Cell cups his hands at his side.

Mira smirks before doing the same, and fires his attack before Cell.

A pink beam of energy explodes from Mira's palms, quickly striking a surprised Cell, and incinerating a good portion of his body.

Cell trembles and groans in agony, his eyes looking down to see the hole in his gut, and the arm and leg he is missing.

Mira stands patiently, watching Cell with indifference as the audience and announcer look with terror.

Soon, Cell's wounds heal, his limbs regenerate, and he looks on Mira with anger.

"You fool, you really don't understand what I meant by perfection, do you?" Cell demands.

Mira raises his right hand, firing a ball of energy at Cell, who yells and swats it into the sky. Cell rushes forward, slamming his fist into Mira's face, and kneeing Mira in the gut. H slams his fists into the back of Mira's skull, and his foe crumples to the ground.

Cell stares down at Mira, who pushes himself back to his feet, looking at Cell with nothing more than irritation. Mira throws a punch, but Cell seizes his wrist, spinning and throwing Mira into the sky.

Cell points at Mira, firing a barrage of thin beams from his finger. Mira deflects each one, only to be struck in the chest by an energy wave.

As Mira is pushed higher into the air, Cell takes off from the ground, charging at his foe. As Cell throws his first punch, Mira dives beneath him, his chest piece beginning to glow as he stares up at Cell.

"Let me show you who the true perfect being is," Mira says as dark beams of energy shoot from his chest.

The beams intersect, feeding energy into a growing ball of energy, one that Cell looks on with shock and a bit of fear.

"Krillin, I wish you the best of luck against whichever of these monsters you have to fight," you tell your friend.

"Thanks," he replies unenthusiastically.

You sense how much energy Mira has put into his attack, and suddenly realize exactly why Cell Jr. looks so afraid. The power of that attack is staggering, and you're confident that it could very well destroy Cell.

"Goodbye," Mira says before unleashing the attack.

Cell raises his arms in front of his body, then appears behind Mira as the blast ascends into the sky, disappearing from view.

"Your power is incredible," Cell comments. "It's really too bad you're such a lousy fighter. This battle could have been so much more fun."

Mira spins, throwing a punch that passes through a mere afterimage. Cell appears above his foe, arms crossed, looking down in disappointment.

"You throw your strength around without thought, without strategy," Cell chastises. "That attack you just used failed to hit me, and has drained a good portion of your energy."

Mira growls and sends a blast upward, passing through empty air as Cell appears in front of him.

"And, the saddest part is, I'm not even close to using my full power," Cell informs Mira before punching him in the gut.

Mira spits blood and falls to his knees, Cell staring down at him with pity.

"Now, let's end this," Cell decides, lifting his leg to kick.

He suddenly gasps, falling to one knee and breathing heavily, his power taking a nosedive as he struggles to catch his breath.

"Come on, Towa, that's cheating," you mutter as Mira rises to his feet.

He towers above Cell, staring at his foe with absolute contempt as he reaches out, seizing the bio-android by his face and lifting him into the air. Cell kicks at Mira feebly, but has grown so weak that his attacks have absolutely no effect.

A glow surrounds Cell's head, and it is incinerated in seconds by a powerful blast of energy from Mira's palm. As Cell's decapitated body falls to the ground, Mira gathers more energy and unleashing a massive wave, incinerating Cell's body until only a single foot remains. Mira makes quick work of that, blasting it into a pile of ashes.

"W-well, ladies and gentlemen, it seems Mira is the victor," the announcer says. "However, he will be disqualified for using lethal force. Those are the rules."

Mira smirks to himself, clearly not caring about disqualification, and begins making his way towards the edge of the ring.

"START THE COUNT!" you repeat, causing Mira to pause at the ring's edge.

"Uh...okay," the announcer says in a confused tone. "One....two....."

Glancing up into the sky, you see a horrific, writhing blob floating above the ring.

"Three....Four...."

As you watch, legs and arms sprout from the blob, which begins to form into a solid shape.

"Five...Six...."

The body solidifies, and a head grows from it, and Cell Junior is reborn.

"You can stop counting now," Cell Junior tells the announcer. "I'm up."

"What?" the announcer asks in shock, staring into the sky.

Mira growls, turning towards Cell and gathering his energy.

Cell smirks, slowly descending and standing before Mira.

"Come now, you should have seen this coming," Cell tells him with a laugh. "After all, you've already seen my regenerative capabilities first hand."

Mira throws a punch that Cell easily catches.

"Calm down, I surrender," Cell announces.

The ground shakes as you and your friend gather energy. Tiles are ripped from the arena floor, lightning flashes through the sky, thunder booms, and both of your powers skyrocket. Sparks flash around both of you as your powers climb. Gohan's muscles expand, his eyes turn green, and his strength doubles, as, with a yell, he completes his transformation.

Your aura changes color, becoming the same blue as your Kamehameha, and your power climbs and climbs until you reach the current limit of your strength.

The two of you move at once, testing each other's powers with a quickly exchange of blows. Neither one of you lands a successful hit, but the brief exchange does tell you that your powers are nearly even.

The two of you float to opposite ends of the ring, planning your next attack.

You drop into a defensive stance, inviting Gohan to attack.

He accepts, rushing forward and attacking with a fat and powerful series of punches and kicks which you barely manage to defend yourself from. He soon manages to land a kick to your jaw, and throws a punch that sends you sliding to the very edge of the ring.

You duck beneath a kick that would have knocked you out of bound, and leap up, slamming your fist into his cheek, then shooting him in the side with an energy wave. As he slides across the ring, you pursue, picturing in your mind a wolf running alongside you.

"WOLF FANG FIST!"

You attack Gohan with a savage series of punches and clawtrikes. He tries to defend, but focuses on an afterimage, allowing you to attack from the side and catch him off-guard. He soon recovers and knocks your legs out from under you before sending you flying across the ring with a kick to the chest.

Spinning in the air, you land on your feet and block a kick aimed at your face. The two of you exchange a few more attacks before Gohan leaps back towards the center of the ring, preparing for the next bout.
