That nap is sounding pretty damn amazing right now but quite frankly you do need to at least set up a bit of a system scan, see if anything has been compromised and see if it's possible to at least identify things, if not outright shut it all down.

Things like that take time though, time enough for you to grab a bit of rest before all of it will truly be finished. Rubbing your eyes a bit, you start to get to work on setting up a complete systems scan of your ship, normally this would take a lot longer, but considering how well you know your 'home' systems back and forth, it's easier than anticipated.

Kicking back onto your bed once it's all finished, you've set an alarm to wake you up in a little more than an hour, at that time you'll make the decision on what you want to do about the Pilgrim's message, for now though, sleep, and how sweet it does sound.

Closing your eyes, your thoughts drift among themselves aimlessly, Vegeta, Nappa, your own fate, and even going back to Earth and the people you met there... all of it is at risk really... the difference is, for the first time in your life, you've got the power to actually stop it.

The grin you have falling asleep transfers over to your dream when you next 'open' your eyes. Unlike the rebuilt Arcosia that you were expecting to see, that contains your other half, it's the void, the dream void. You haven't been here in a while, and quite frankly hoped the other you had replaced it, but it seems that's just not the case.

"Tell us Arctus, do you know, why we chose you? Over all the others in the Universe, why you are the one chosen to recieve our warnings of the threats to come?" The voice echoes out around you.

Shaking your head, you slap yourself arond a few times in an attempt to clear your mind after all of that crap that just went on. The dreams are something that you need to listen to, they showed you Bardock, a hint of the power that you can have at your side.

There's someone else you can consult though, the only other one that really even has an inkling of what's really going on here.

The other you, the one that you visit during your meditation. He can help you make sense of this, if not out right manage to explain all of it like he's done so far.

You don't know why it is he's there, or even what he truly is, but the other Arctus might just be the only person that knows you better than you... and that's because he's also you.

Sliding off of your bed, you soon find yourself back in your chair at the desk, searching through the logs of the past hour to see if any sort of worm has been discovered.

Surprisingly enough, it seems you actually managed to catch something this time, it was a mid level leak, but a leak nevertheless. You're fairly certain that there's more to be found along the way, but knowing that you at least managed to plug at least one fault in the system is a bit of a relief.

Vegeta should be out of the medical pod by now, but before you go check on the Saiyan Princess, you decide to check in with Jenkins, he can set a course for the Pilgrim's location, along with take care of a few other matters if you chose to have him do so.

Gaining entrance to your first mate's quarters, he stands at attention when you enter, until you give him the okay to relax.

"Master Arctus, can I help you Sir?" Your ever loyal subordinate asks of you.

Considering Vegeta is out of the rejuvination chamber by now, and, from what you can tell, currently residing in her own private room, now might be as good of a time as any to go and talk to the Princess.

Making your way along through the ship, you're forced to mentally walk yourself through what you've done to Vegeta by sharing your energy, and so much of it at that. The two of you are linked now, one way or another, time will end up telling how, but you're stuck with the Princess, and her, you.

Arriving at her door, you're unsuprised to find it currently locked, prohibiting you from accessing it. Of course, you've got all the override codes, but that's really not necessary at the moment.

Knocking on the door, you wait to hear a response

"Piss off." Comes an angry growl

"It's me, open up Vegeta." You calmly give as a reply.

Several seconds later, just as you're about to give up and give her some more time alone, the lock on the door disengages, allowing you to enter the room and get a look at Vegeta.

She's half dressed at the moment, and hugging a pillow to her chest as she lays on her bed, facing away from you.

Compared to how... lively it generally is, seeing her tail laying practically dead behind her is very odd, and you're willing to bet that has quite a bit to do with all of this.

At the same time you could do with something to eat, and maybe a chance to properly clean yourself up with a shower.

There's also always training time, be it alone, or bringing Nappa into the fray in an attempt to buff up the General a bit more to help you out on the battlefield.

Deciding to focus on your less purely physical attributes in this session, together with Nappa you manage to increase your total energy reserves, and the techniques that you have access to.

If you can get your techniques out faster, make them more powerfu, and consume less total energy, well that'll just make you a hell of a lot more dangerous of a foe for the people you have left to deal with.

Nappa's overall power is increasing as well the more time you spend training together, and while he's still below Vegeta's level, the man still keeps growing stronger.

While you're own growth is incredible, relatively speaking, the saiyans have also been knocking it out of the park when it comes to increasing their power levels.

Makes you think back to Earth once again, with Gohan and Goku still there and training up. You're somewhat eager to see how strong the father and son pair might be when you finally go back eventually.

Maybe, just maybe, with the saiyans on your side, you'll have the allies necessary to stand up to whatever threat it is that you're supposed to be dealing with.

You're still kind of annoyed you're the last pick on that one.

I Apologize for ending this so early guys, but the entire point of this run was to keep me awake for a few more hours so I could get back on a good sleep schedule. If things work out, I'll run again tomorrow at the 'normal' time that we all got used to at the start, aka 6pm or so Central US time.
