It's only been a few days since Majin Buu was defeated, but things are pretty much back to normal. Using the Dragonballs of both Earth and Namek, you and your friends were able to revive those killed in the chaos caused by Janemba and Majin Buu. It was a terrible crisis, with countless foes returning from Hell, and Majin Buu's dark side manifesting from the chaos. But, as always, you and your friends were able to protect Earth, and restore peace.

And, school opened back up almost immediately, so here you are, sitting in class listening to a lecture on history. You and your friend Gohan already know the current topic inside and out, and really only chime in to answer questions. Otherwise, the two of you sit in a bored silence.

Your girlfriend, Videl, pays close attention and takes notes, while her friend Erasa struggles to pay attention to a subject she clearly has no interest in. All in all, classes are the same as every day. That is to say, mostly a waste of time for you, since you've been studying at a much higher level for the past few years.

When lunch rolls around, you sit where you normally do, with Videl, Gohan, and Erasa. As usual, your mother has packed you a delicious lunch that beats any cafeteria food, or food at a gourmet restaurant, by a mile. And, as always, she was sure to pack enough for you to share.

"I'm just saying, I don't know why they're still teaching us after finals," Videl says after swallowing a mouthful of food. "It's not like we'll even be back next year, after this week, school's over."

Videl rolls her eyes. "Please, I'd take fighting a hundred Frieza's over another history lecture."

Videl's watch suddenly beeps, and she leans in to talk into it, asking what the situation is. Before you ever came here, Videl was working with the police to catch criminals. They even had a special communicator built into her watch to contact her when they needed her help. Bulma was king enough to move that to her Saiyagirl watch, so she can keep contact with the police, and her team.

You can barely hear what's being said over the noise of the cafeteria, but you assume it's probably another robbery. Hercule City has a surprisingly large amount of those, considering the team of superpowered vigilantes patrolling it.

Criminals just don't seem to be very smart.

Videl glances up from her watch, looking over at you. "It's a bank robbery. You want to tag along, or should Ii take this myself?"

Videl smiles, rising from the table. "Good, then let's go!"

"Guys, lunch ends in ten minutes!" Erasa announces worriedly.

"Just tell the teacher it's an emergency," Videl instructs. "Besides, this shouldn't take long. We'll be back in no time."

"Good luck!" Gohan says cheerfully, scarfing down his food.

Erasa sighs over at him as you and Videl rush from the cafeteria, drawing some glances from the other students. Ever since word got around that the two of you were dating, both students and faculty have, at times, come to think that the two of you really cut class just for some alone time. Given that you occasionally do your work in your super hero personas, there isn't too much you can do to dispel those rumors.

It's made for an awkward conversation or two with both the faculty and your parents.

You and Videl take to the sky as soon as you clear the building, zipping above the city towards the bank in trouble. You can see that the police are already on the scene and have the bank surrounded. In all likelihood, the robbers have hostages, preventing the police from taking action at the moment.

"So, how do you want to do this?" Videl asks as the two of you come to a stop about a block from the bank, hovering high above the city streets.

"It's Saiyasentai time," you tell her, grinning as you press the button on your watch to activate your disguise.

There's a flash of light, and you take on the appearance of your alter ego, Saiyaman White, leader of the Saiyasentai. In your newly masked and caped outfit, you swoop down towards the bank as Videl dons her own disguise, becoming Saiyagirl Blue.

Some of the police officers cry out in joy when they see the two of you fly over their heads towards the entrance of the bank. You land and push through the door, finding that the patrons and employees are indeed being held hostage by a group of armed men.

"What, are you cops stupid?" one of the men asks, facing away from you and pointing a gun at a young woman.

"We told you, we'll start wasting hostages unless we get-oh...." he says, turning around and going blue in the face when he sees whose come.

"Stop right there, evil doers!" Videl shouts in an overly dramatic, hammy tone.

"You must not be from around here!" you tell the robbers, stepping beside Videl. "Anyone who commits evil in this city must face the wrath of...."

"THE SAIYASENTAI!" the two of you shout in unison, spinning and coming to a stop, Videl learning back into your left arm and raising her fists towards the ceiling as you do the same with your right fist.

"Allies of good!" You shout, throwing Videl into the air.

"Defenders of Justice!" Videl adds, flipping and coming to land in front of the robber who just spoke to you.

"Saiyagirl, Blue!" she shouts, knocking the robber out with a single punch and striking a pose.

"Saiyaman, White!" you yell, deflecting a barrage of gunfire.

The conscious robbers drop their weapons and put their hands above their heads.

"The Saiyasentai will defeat all evil!" you and Videl shout together as the police come in and apprehend the criminals.

The police seem to have everything handled, but you and Videl decide to hang around and make sure that everything goes smoothly.

That turns out to be a good idea, as, about a minute later, three more armed men emerge from the back, immediately turning their guns on you, Videl, and the innocent bystanders still within the bank.

"What the hell?" one of the robbers shouts as he unloads his weapon. "Don't you masked morons have something better to do?"

Videl kicks him through a wall before spinning and taking another out with a swift kick. As the last robber turns towards her and begins shooting, you rush over and knock him out with a quick punch.

The police and civilians in the bank let out relieved sighs.

"Thank you both so much," one of the officers says. "I don't know what we would do without you."

"No problem," Videl says in her normal voice.

Most of the police know Saiyagirl Blue's identity, she really just wears the outfit for fun when doing this sort of thing.

With everything taken care of, the bad guys on their way to jail, and the people saved, you and Videl decide to head back to class. Bidding the police farewell, the two of you exit the bank and go back into the air, deactivating your disguises as you fly towards Orange Star High School.

That really didn't take long at all. The two of you should only be about five minutes late for class.

"Well, that was fun," you comment as the two of you approach the school.

"Yeah, sure beats sitting in class," Videl agrees as the two of you land and walk inside.

The rest of the day is uneventful, and you make it through your remaining classes without incident, though Sharpner gets sent to the principal's office for making a lewd remark about you and Videl when you walk into the classroom.

"So, what are you guys going to be doing tonight?" Erasa asks as she retrieves her things from her locker.

"Well, I have a date," Gohan answers as he grabs his own personal effects.

"Good for you!" Erasa tells him cheerfully, turning to you and Videl. "What about you two, any plans?"

Videl gives her friend a smile, nodding. "Sure, but Kaguya's paying for both of us."

Erasa giggles. "Right, that's only fair."

The three of you walk to a nearby movie theater, taking a look at the films that are currently playing.

The three of you enter the theater and watch the film, which picks up where the previous film left off.

The Saiyasentai team, having used ancient powers to combine into a megabeast, are now under the mind control of the evil General Malcontent, who has turned them against an unsuspecting city.

You can tell that they upped the budget, because the following sequence of the military attempting to destroy the megabeast is actually pretty cool. Even Videl looks somewhat entertained by it.

The film then switches to inside the megabeast, where the Saiyasentai team discuss how to free themselves from Malcontent's control. Your character is mostly useless in this sequence, suggesting a series of asinine ideas for comedic effect. You don't really appreciate the laughter from the audience, or Videl giggling at your side.

The film shifts back to the outside, where, in the ship orbiting the moon, Kordon, the floating head that first assembled the team, talks with the robot Sigma about the situation on Earth. Sigma cries that there is no chance of stopping General Malcontent now, when Kordon tells him to activate the "Drive" protocol.

Back in the megabeast, Billy takes over formulating a plan, with Haya and Videl drooling over him the entire time.

In the theater, Videl looks down, grumbling as you tease her a little bit. Erasa, meanwhile, seems to be doing the same thing as the two female characters in the film.

Suddenly, a group of vehicles fall from the sky and smash into the megabeast, breaking it apart. The Saiyasentai, now freed, look at their vehicles and hop in.

"Why did they give us cars?" you ask Videl. "Why do I have a minivan?!"

At this point, Videl is laughing like crazy, red in the face and getting some annoyed looks from nearby movigoers.

You quickly lean over and give Videl a kiss, effectively quieting her down, though you notice she remains red in the face.

The film continues with the Saiyasentai driving their new vehicles in an over the top action sequence in which they use the vehicles to defeat Malcontent's forces. There's a brief romantic scene between Saiyaman Green and Saiyagirl Blue that makes Videl a little uncomfortable, and you're sure would piss Haya off, and the Saiyasentai drive to Malcontent's fortress.

The next twenty minutes are a fairly well choreographed sequence of action scenes depicting the team working together to reach Malcontent's throne room. Then, the final battle begins.

The audience is dead silent as the Saiyasentai battle Malcontent, destroying much of the fortress as they throw each other through walls, crash through floors and ceilings, throw furniture and even henchmen. Finally, when all hope seems lost, the Saiyasentai band together and defeat Malcontent with an extra powerful attack.

The audience erupts into cheers and claps as the credits scroll, playing some rock song from thirty years ago.

"That was so amazing!" Erasa declares, standing up and stretching. "What did you two think?"

"Well, it wasn't as bad as the first one," Videl answers.

Sixteen watches with a nearly blank expression, while Buu looks on in confusion.

Icarus flies up to you and Videl, looking crestfallen and giving a sad little whimper.

"What's wrong?" you ask the little dragon.

Cabba stops her search and leaps over to you and Videl. "There you are! You have to help me find her!"

"Find who?" Videl asks.

"Drake! We were playing hide and seek, and she's been hiding for like, a billion hours!" Cabba explains.

"It has been thirty minutes," Sixteen corrects from nearby.

"Whatever! I still can't find her!" Cabba says in irritation. "It's not fair! She shouldn't be able to hide her power level! Even with Icarus helping me, I have no idea where she is!"

"Got you!" Drake says, laughing to herself from her spot on your back. "Now you've got to hide with me, okay? Hide your energy and wait for the others to find us!"

As expected, Videl and Cabba both felt your power level vanish and come running immediately, searching around for you and Drake as you hide beneath a tree.

Drake nods excitedly. "Okay!"

The two of you creep out of your hiding space, moving silently behind Videl and Cabba. The two of you strike as one, with Drake tagging Cabba as you tag Videl.

While Cabba tenses when she's tagged, she at least looks over her shoulder before doing anything. Videl, on the other hand, grabs your arm and flips you over her shoulder, sending you crashing to the ground on your back.

"Oh! Sorry Kaguya!" she says, immediately helping you to your feet as Cabba and Drake laugh.

The four of you head back to the farm, and go inside for dinner. Your mother has made stew, and, as always, it is delicious.

"So, I hear it's your birthday soon," Videl tells Drake in a friendly tone.

"Yep, tomorrow!" Drake confirms happily.

"Well that's great," Videl says. "I can't believe you're going to be eight."

"Me neither," your mother says from her spot nearby. "I can't believe how fast either of my children grew up. Seems like yesterday Kaguya was younger than Drake, now I'll be having grandkids before I know it."

Videl spits out her drink, coughing hard and then apologizing for it. "I-I'm sure that's a long way off."

Your mother chuckles. "I know, dear. I'm just saying that time flies."

"Speaking of which, it seem a little early for being this dark?" your father asks, looking out the window.

You do the same, and find that the sky is as black as it ever gets, but much earlier than normal. You look down at your watch before glancing back up and seeing a red bolt of lightning flash in the distance.

That can't be good.

You quickly get up, and upon asking the others what they think, gather that they've reached the same conclusion. Well, those that understand the signs reached the same conclusion, anyhow.

Bringing your fingers to your forehead and sensing for the energy of Piccolo, you teleport to Dende's Lookout.

The sky is even darker over the Lookout, though you see a large amount of red mist, and the flashes of red lightning are coming at a much more rapid pace.

"Kaguya!" you hear from beside you.

Spinning, you find Piccolo looking at you, very, very pissed off.

"Someone's used the Black Star Balls," he informs you, staring into a spot in the sky not far ahead. "Take a look."

You look where he does, and see a colossal, red, serpentine dragon winding its way around the Lookout, it head lowering to a spot not too far ahead.

"I don't believe this!" Piccolo snaps. "Damn those kids!"

You sense for nearby energy and see what he's angry about. You feel Goten and Trunks not far ahead of you. You and Piccolo rush over to the two, just as the dragon speaks.

"So be it, I will grant your wish," Shenron declares, his eyes glowing.

Goten and Trunks laugh in delight as Shenron's entire body begins to glow.

"Until the next summoning," the Dragon says before vanishing in a flash of light.

The dragonballs rise into the sky and vanish from sight, spreading across the galaxy.

Goten and Trunks continue to laugh together until they turn around and see you and Piccolo standing over them.

"Oh...hi," Trunks says nervously.

"So that's why Gohan told us not to use them," Goten says in understanding.

"Goten, you dummy, why didn't you tell me the world would blow up if we used them?!" Trunks snaps.

"I didn't know!" Goten insists.

"It doesn't matter now," Piccolo tells them. "What's done is done. Now, what we need to worry about is getting those Dragonballs back."

"My mom has spaceships!" Trunks reminds him. "We can go into space and get the Dragonballs back!"

"Yeah!" Goten says.

"No!" Piccolo growls. "You two have done enough."

"So," you say, trying to change the subject for the kid's sake. "What was the present?"

"We don't really know," Trunks admits.

"We told the Dragon we wanted the perfect birthday present for Drake," Goten tells you. "But I don't see it anywhere."

Looking down, you see a small puppy looking up at you and the others, wagging his tail happily and bouncing around in circles.

You sense Vegeta, clearly training very hard by the way his energy feels. So, that's where you go, teleporting to him in the gravity chamber and getting a nice punch to the face for your troubles.

You fall to the ground and slide into the wall, looking up at Vegeta, who glowers as he stops his training and lands in front of you.

"What do you want, brat?" he demands, crossing his arms.

Vegeta huffs, uncrossing his arms. "What for?"

You explain what just happened. Vegeta grows visibly irritated as you tell him how Trunks and Goten used the Black Star Balls, and far more irritated as he hears what the wish was for. You feel kind of bad for Trunks at this point, and you're worried that his parents might actually kill him.

"Damn it, that boy...." Vegeta growls. "Fine, the woman's in her lab. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to have a word with my son."

You and Vegeta leave the gravity chamber, with the Saiyan Prince quickly heading for the Lookout as you make your way to the lab, where Bulma and her father are discussing some of the new Capsule Designs you and Gohan helped develop.

"Oh, hello Kaguya!" Vegeta's wife greets pleasantly as you enter the room. "What's up?"

When you explain the situation to Bulma, she looks just as angry as Vegeta. You really feel sorry for Trunks at this point.

"Alright, well, the only thing to do now is go gather the Dragonballs," Bulma says. "And you're in luck, because I have just the ship to help you out. It's our newest model, and I'd be more than happy to let you use it."

You have one year to gather the Black Star Balls. You have a ship, and plenty of crew mates to choose from. Hopefully things will go smoothly.
