Korin scratches his ear with his foot. "Well, follow me for the Senzus." he tells you all, leading you up to the second level of his tower. The white cat displays an entire jar of the beans, but before handing them over, he asks you all one thing. "So... are you willing to hear me out?"

Yajirobe doesn't seem to care, instead eyeing the beans, though Tien, Chi-chi, and Goku all look at each other, and at you. The triclops is the first to speak. "If it means avenging Tao and stopping that monster, then I'll go along with it."

Korin seems to stare at the young man with concern, but nods. "You might have the hardest time, Tien."

"I don't care." he grunts.

Chi-chi is next. "He's right. If it means stopping King Piccolo and saving Acer, for sure, then I'll do it."

Goku smiles at her and nods, but then turns to you. You can tell he WANTS to agree to it, but he's worried that you might try something. "Are you ready, Maple?"

Cell has an excuse for his draining method being permanent since he's actually consuming and somehow adding all of that biomass to his own essence. Though I'd imagine that demons might be able to do the same thing with dark soul magic stuff.

So I came up with an alternative-" he points to a pot in the center of the room, "-a drink that's nothing more than clean rain water, but something that people must overcome myself if they ever hope of obtaining it. A reward that won't kill them once they get it, that they have to work for. I put the other far away, guarded in the far north by Darkness. The name of it is the Cho-shin-sui, or Ultra Divine Water."

I mean, I understand that you need to endure a lot to get stronger, but having Maple and friends use an emergency power booster that has very real risk of killing its user before they actually see King Piccolo up close seems a bit... unwise? At this point, I'd think that they'd try to do everything in their power to try and stack things in her favor.

Goku seems curiously drawn to the formation, tilting his head as he looks at them all.

The winds are still there, and the monster seems to be reforming again...
