I am Zophagros and the single largest assault launched by the Null ever has breached the shields of the City of Light and the Spirit Pairs are being forced back. All of the Ultimate Spirit Pairs have gathered, but there are too many Null. Tiamat is still growing into his power, only yet at Universa level and Janus never battles, locked in constant meditation to maintain Eris’ connection to the other universes to ensure the Spirit Pairs still have power. With me gone, that meant that a mere 7 Ultimate Spirits stood to defend the City.

The Nulls brought 20 Ultima level Nulls.

Hope was a slim whisp.

However, as Me and Mine break through the final portal boundary to over the city of light, the Dragon Citadel and my Worldships blasting into Eris to battle for the City once more, I realise something. As Tiamat flies by my side, having come with me in my exile, I realise that no matter what happens, this City cannot fall.

It would mean the death of everything.

I look out over the City as I fly, the great sprawling Metropolis covering trillions of Kilometres of civilisation. I pulse my optic abilities and spot all of the Ultimate Spirits. 10 of the Nulls are still holding back. The other ten are engaging the Ultimate Spirits. 6 one v ones and 1 one v three.

And the last Ultima level Null flying straight at me, attempting to shut down the reinforcements before they begin.

That will not Happen

As I accelerate to Combat Standard Speed I let loose the Savage Howl of the Dragon.

Let the Storm Howl and the Thunder Crash.

I am here to save the City of Light.

I am Zophagros.

And I will not be stopped.

Ok, so this is a thread that I am running for several reasons. The first and most prominent is that I'm running it to test out and show you guys how to fight at Ultima level. You will take control of Zophagros for this thread and fight your way into the greatest battle of Eris. You will not lose this fight, I have a failsafe.

This is the test run for the real fight to come. You are fighting a single Ultima level opponent.

Here are Zophagros' basic abilities:

Rank: Ultima

Strength (Physical Power): ******** (8)
Durability (Not Giving a Fuck): ********* (9)
Speed (Gotta Go Fast): ********** (10)
Senses (Eye Spy): ********** (10)
Elemental Abilities (Gravity): ********** (10)
Control (That Was Intentional, I swear!): ********** (10)
Synchronisation (The Blank Space): Unified

Perfect Synch: the frame can be manipulated to any degree possible between the two extreme forms with insane speed and no issues. All power available to you can be drawn out in an instant.

Draconic Ultima: Your half dragon form is your strongest as you can draw out all the power available to you. You can fly faster than your normal maximum, and are stronger, faster, tougher and have better senses than your normal maximum. Add 10 to all Stats, even over the normal maximum of 10. You also regenerate at an insane rate.

Room: You can create a room and expand it outwards at the speed of light for up to a year at a strong strength or have it focussed around your frame for insane strength.

Storm Scion: You have absolute control over all abilities related to the idea of "Storm", that being Wind, Lightning and Rain. Focussed down, this means H2O, the flow of moving particles by collision and the movement of electrons. You can control this down to a molecular level.

Code of the Lifemaker: Your control over the most minute elements of life has allowed you to alter your surroundings as you see fit. You can create, destroy or influence ANYTHING not inside of a functioning room.

Ok, so fighting at Ultima level requires thought. You have to fight smart, simply blasting at the opponent like an apprentice mage with fireball will result in your death.

Fortunately, you have what is essentially God Mode at your disposal. Your options are almost limitless, use them.

The Ultima Null's Room is limited to a space around 50 metres around his body but is almost impossible to disrupt.

A single round of combat will take less than half a second.

As you accelerate to full speed you pulse your room and allow it to flood out rapidly, covering a large space in milliseconds, a few ten thousand kilometres. Perfect for a small arena. As you do so, you focus your gaze on the Null in front of you and LOOK

Al of this is processed in nanoseconds as you flare your wings and rocket up and over his attacks, spinning around as you see the surprise written on the Ultima's bestial features. It spins its axe in its hands and unleashes a huge blast of Null energy upwards at you..

You forgot to limit the air displacement from high speed manoeuvring. That was at least three thousand kilometres per second. The air displacement just blasted a giant sphere in midair and threw everyone below Empyrica level out of wack. And that blast by the Null just carved up a planet's worth of his friends by accident.

You decide that this beefhead has had enough of a trot and decide to cook him. You zip forward, this time remembering to prevent the air from blasting your allies and grasp him, shooting forward to a place where you won't cook your allies, about a million kilometres from ground zero. The bull was smashing you the entire way up, leaving you with bloody injuries and gashes.

You grin at him.

And your body disintegrates before his eyes.

You can see the idiot cow looking around him. If he only bothered to actually sense for life with the vast power at his disposal, he would know what happened instantly. But no, he's trying to smell me. Not gonna work.

I AM the environment.

I summon a huge sphere of lightning directly behind him, using electromagnetism to spin it into a rolling sphere of doom about the size of a mid level star.

The electricity blasts up his arm, cooking the entire minotaur from head to toe.

Well, nows as good a time as any. Now that the roast is cooked, it's time to carve it.

You reform your body directly behind him and prepare yourself.

But it's not even NEARLY enough with his entire body still sparking from that giant jolt. I catch the axe in one hand and rip it out of his hand, spinning it outside of his room where I immediately disintegrate it. He punches at me and I dissipate my body again, reforming it directly in his blind spot. I rear back and summon energies, the molecules in my claws spinning at an insane rate, the screech blasting out with tremendous force.

I smash my hand straight into his neck, with claws as dense as a white dwarf star and vibrating at insane speeds.

His head comes straight off. Clean as you like.

But that's not enough to kill an Ultima level.

I summon my power, black clouds forming from nothing as they gather around me, constantly arcing with electrical power. I gather energy from every universe at once as I summon the power I am inheritor to. The Power of the Storm. The power of lightning, the motive force.

The power to burn.

I unleash the power all at once, creating a gigantic blast that spreads outwards at speeds that puts light to shame.

I call on my nature.

The blast spreads and begins to consolidate into a storm cloud the size of a galaxy.

STORM OF THE CENTURY!

Lightning bolts larger around the middle than planets blast and arc forth as the storm to end all storms erupts in Eris, surrounding the City of Light which still burns in the centre. Raindrops larger than stars missile forth at the speed of light. Winds that blow around star systems like leaves howl. A crackling, sizzling Maelstrom erupts around the City of Light and in an instant, every foe below Universa level is burnt to dust, or smashed apart by wind or rain.

Let the Storm Howl and the Thunder Crash.

Tiamat flies up to me and calls to me telepathically, asking me to aid Lux, who is still fighting three Ultima level opponents.

But as I watch, Tiamat is ripped upwards, grabbed by an unseen force.

The ten have committed.

Ten Ultima Level Nulls have Tiamat. As I watch, a blast of pure Shadow power envelops him and he falls, twisting an tumbling into a portal.

"WHY?!?" I howl at them. "Why did you not kill him?"

"If we did, the Spirit would simply find a new Pair. Like this, we have taken an Ultimate Spirit out of the game for a very long time."

And as you watch them as the Storm of the Century rages, you feel your anger grow.

The Nulls visibly back away. You don't blame them. Your physical appearance has changed - not in shape so much as colour. Whereas before your armoured body was solid gold, with solid blue eyes, now your body scales ripple blue, gold, black, red, silver and green, and your eyes are an iridescent rainbow of colours that never stops flowing and rippling.

And the power you are radiating is immense, your room now tightly packed around you. You are now immensely stronger than an Ultima.

You move without visible cues, even to an Ultima, grabbing all of them at once and pushing them together before shoving them through a dimensional portal. You dive in after them.

And then you throw them out of the tunnel into the Space between worlds. And follow them.

The 11 of you drift in nothingness.

"You do know there is no point to this vengeance, dragon." One of the Nulls speaks up.

"You, and everyone else, will forget about Tiamat soon."

"I do not care." You reply, your voice at once strong, resonant, angry, quiet, and a whisper. "It is enough to have done the deed, even if it is unremembered."

Your power swirls in your frame as the Four of you concentrate your power in your hand, the energies of all three disparate Ultimate Spirits unifying into a single, terrifying force.

A creative force.

A force that puts all others to shame.

An explosion.

The energy pools in your right hand, forming a small sphere roughly the size of an apple over your palm, pure energy sizzling and rippling over it, energy in its PURE form.

You throw out the sphere and it floats over to the centre of the Nulls, who, finding themselves unable to use their powers in the Place Between Worlds, resign themselves.

The energy compacts itself even further, shrinking down, folding in on itself and magnifying by orders of magnitude.

As it reaches microscopic levels, the Nulls realise what it is and begin to struggle again, to no avail.

The explosion that still echoes in every known universe after it occurred in each one.

A Big Bang

Alpha

Release.

And the Ten Ultima Level Nulls are torn asunder by the force of a new Universe springing into being as you effortlessly slip into that new universe. And as you do, you feel something. This is where Tiamat will land. You quickly physically write down that you must have someone watch this Universe for any signs of a new Ultimate Spirit.

You will watch and wait.

You have saved the City of Light.

And the Spirit Pairs stand together once more.
