You are Ur'shal, Chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan and Warlord of the Wastes. You are preparing for your strangest raid to date, a foray back into the dream realm which the river fey Vaki was using as her home. As Vaki tells it, within the realm is some sort of powerful and dangerous creature, a creature which, amongst its other treasure, guards more vials of the legendary Phoenix Elixir, which the more alchemically talented members of your clan tell you is considered the pinnacle of healing alchemy. Given the number of uses you can already think of for such a thing, you can hardly leave it be, hopefully the cost of acquiring it will not outweigh the benefits.

You stand before the underground river with your raiding party, the younger ones looking more than a little uneasy at the prospect of being dragged under the water by the fey. A party of twenty was about the limit of what Vaki could transport across within a reasonable space of time, so you've brought the grizzled old veteran Or'kug, the sorcerer Bra'kur, your old friend Dru'ak and the first three recruits of your honorguard, the rest of the number filled with hardy orcs picked out by Zo'rok for the mission.

If you want to make any last minute changes to the party, now would be the time.

Why do you not want magical mounts and animals?
>>
>>41666817
Actually, could Vor'zal have handled those wandenbuss or whatever we encountered last time with his amazing animal skills so that we wouldn't have had to fought them?
I imagine avoiding unnecessary conflict with fey would be very beneficial especially on this raid with very few orcs.
>>
>>41666935
Because we wasted very valuable Zhul'orok Zhar favor trying to pokeymang a bandersnatch and getting nothing out of it. And also acquiring mounts is not the point of this raid.
Keep your eye on the prize and don't get distracted.

>>41666976

“Got everything you need?” Zo'rok asks, as you look over the group.

“Maybe, I'll take Vor'zal too, lot of strange animals in the dream realm,” you grunt.

Zo'rok nods, sending one of the orcs off to retrieve the old priest.

“You want to come too, Zo'rok?”

“I'll pass, this time, with how tense things got recently it would be good to stay here and keep anyone from getting dumb ideas while you're away.”

You frown. “You think someone will try something?”

“Can't say, there's still a few orcs who weren't happy with how things went while you were gone, and that you came back. Besides, now that Ya'zada's carrying your whelps I should probably limit how many skulls she has to crack if something does happen.”

You nod, slapping a hand down on Zo'rok's shoulder.

“Thank you, Zo'rok, I know I can trust you to make a very messy example of traitors,” you smirk.

Your friend cackles in response, turning and heading back up the tunnel, passing Vor'zal on the way, the old priest stalking down to join the group.

“Vor'zal, if we run into any strange fey beasts though there, think you can control them?” you ask, as he sniffs the air, frowning.

“Yes, if they think like beasts, doesn't matter where they came from,” he grunts. While his language is not as rough as it was right after you found him, his voice is still harsh and strained, you get the feeling Vor'zal is never going to entirely get used to being orcish again.

“Good, then let's go,” you nod, turning to Vaki.

The fey nods, grabbing hold of the nearest orc by the wrist, who gives you an uneasy look as she starts to tug him towards the water.

“It's fine, go ahead,” you grunt, the orc taking a deep breath as he gets pulled beneath the river.

It is some time before Vaki returns, and you can see why she suggested a smaller group, otherwise you'd be at this for days. Soon Vaki pulls you beneath the water, though the sensation of the running river soon fades for the strange weightlessness of the void you passed through on your return to the mortal realm. You surface at the far bank of the familiar lake, to the strange blue sky and ghostly sands. Pulling yourself up from the water, you look around the group, while some look a little uneasy as they survey the alien landscape, none are acting foolishly, your lieutenants chose the group well.

“So, Vaki, where is this thing?”

The fey points off east, where the stony trees grow thicker, you won't see far in there, and you've no doubt there's more troublesome beasts between you and your destination.

You gesture for the group to all into line as you make for the trees. Vor'zal skulks around the edges of the group, as seems to be his preference, while Dru'ak and the three honorguard make a path for the main group through the thicker areas of petrified plantlife, heavy blades and mauls splintering stony branches. It's not subtle, but given that the alternative is spending hours trying to find the only route through the forest which doesn't involve your warriors getting ripped to shreds on the trees, it'll have to do.

It's slow, tiresome work, and you see nothing beyond a few tiny fey animals which are no threat, not to mention lacking value as warbeasts, as you push on through the forest.

“How far is it, Vaki?” you ask, the little fey by your side staring up at you with a smile.

“Still further, long way to go. Vaki took the river, much quicker, but not for orcs,” she grins, not the most helpful answer, but the fey seems to have trouble with solid concepts of distance and time.

Vor'zal appears by your side as you speak with the fey, the old orc sniffing as his head turns back and forth.

“Something wrong, Vor'zal?”

“Following our trail, pack of beasts.”

“You think they'll attack?”

Vor'zal shakes his head. “Too few in number, waiting for one to stray off from pack, or to scavenge from dead.”

It could be a problem if they gain the courage to attack once your group is locked in combat with something else, but on the other hand, fighting them could prove to a pointless waste of time, and risk some unlucky injuries before you even reach your destination.

“We'll break off from the main group, bait them in, then you can take control of them,” you explain to Vor'zal, the old priest giving a grunt in response.

“The rest of you, keep going straight,” you call, the pack continuing their march as you and Vor'zal hang back.

“You, with me,” you gesture for one of the honorguard, the three of you splitting off from the main group.

Sure enough, it isn't long before Vor'zal's ears perk up, the old priest giving a growl.

“Took the bait, coming for us now.”

You scan the treeline silently. Sure enough you spot more of the squat, hairy beasts that attacked you and Vaki before as they skulk between the trees. Vor'zal's eyes narrow as he looks across the group, his gaze fixing on one, a little larger than the rest, patches of its striped fur torn out on one side, replaced with an ugly mess of scars, the alpha of the pack, most likely.

“Will dominate alpha, take pack, might work, might not, be ready to fight,” Vor'zal growls, as he steps forward.

Vor'zal mutters to himself , gnarled fingers twitching as he stalks over to the alpha. One of the smaller beasts snarls, baring wicked fangs as it steps towards the old priest, but Vor'zal meets its snarl with one of his own, squaring his shoulders as he growls down at the smaller beast, which steps back, head low to the ground with an uneasy hiss.

The priest locks eyes with the alpha, which claws at the ground, snarling and spitting. The two circle each other, the old priest shifting as you watch him, thick hair sprouting from his leathery hide, fingers turning to claws as his face takes on a feral mien. They snap and snarl, sizing each other up, neither making a move for quite some time as you and the rest of the alpha's pack look on.

At last the alpha rears up on its hind legs, giving a roar that sends a spiderweb of cracks through the trunks of the petrified trees around it, bringing down a rain of shattered branches. Vor'zal doesn't flinch, keeping his eyes locked on the beast as he roars in turn, taking one sudden step towards the posturing alpha. The alpha drops back to all fours, head going low as it stares up at the old priest, a low growl in its throat. Vor'zal roars once more, and the growling stops, the beast laying flat on the ground as the old orc looms over it.

Vor'zal grunts, looking over to you as the pack pads up behind him, the alpha's ears low as it walks up next to the priest, sitting by his side. Looks like your group just got a little larger.

You rejoin the main party, the bandersnatch pack sticking to the edges of the group with Vor'zal, Vaki cocking her head as she stares curiously at the tamed beasts.

“Not far to the edge of the forest now, Vaki is sure.”

True to Vaki's word, you soon find the stony trees thinning, giving way to tall, pale grass. Ahead, you can make out some great rocky outcropping, overgrown with weeds and grasses, Vaki pointing up high amongst the scattered, cracked boulders which tower overhead.

“Up there, at the top,” Vaki explains, gesturing to a flat rocky surface you can make out behind the scattered boulders. It's going to be quite a climb whatever way you take, the question is whether you take the more obvious route up the front, and risk being spotted from the beast's vantage point, or find a more roundabout route up, and handle a tougher ascent.

Sticking to the cover of the trees and rocks as best you can, your group circles around the side of the massive boulders, picking your way over the uneven ground looking for another way to reach the summit.

The boulders have a strange look to them, cracked and with strange, uneven surfaces. As you continue your search, you realize what they are, parts of some impossibly gigantic statue, shattered and fallen, the flat summit the point at which the statue was smashed. The idea that something might exist in this dream realm capable of demolishing such a colossal structure is not one that appeals to you.

“Do you know what destroyed the statue, Vaki?” you ask, the fey giving you a puzzled stare.

“Statue?”

“This, do you know what destroyed it?” you grunt, gesturing to the boulders.

“Vaki thinks it was always like this,” she shrugs.

“It is possible that she is correct, chieftain, dream realms draw upon the dreams and memories of mortals to form, this statue may well have sprung into being as you see it now,” Bra'kur comments, the sorcerer patting a hand against the weathered stone.

Frowning, you turn your attention back to the search. There's no easy way up, but at the very least, you do find a way up hidden where two of the statue fragments lie propped against each other, and with enough vines and handholds to make the climb doable, provided you aren't careless. The bandersnatch are less well suited to the climb however, the four-legged beasts would have to take a far more roundabout route than yours to get up safely.

The Greeks were total perverts to be honest.
Someone post those poems/paragraphs of how much the author wants to fuck some Centaur horse pussy.
>>
>>41669735
>"How beautiful the Centaurides are, even where they are horses; for some grow out of white mares, others are attached to chestnut mares, and the coats of others are dappled, but they glisten like those of horses that are well cared for. There is also a white female Centaur that grows out of a black mare, and the very opposition of the colours helps to produce the united beauty of the whole."
>Philostratus the Elder, Greek rhetorician

>"In the high woods there was none comelier of all the centaur-girls, and she alone by love and love’s sweet words and winning ways held Cyllarus, yes, and the care she took to look her best (so far as that may be with limbs like that). She combed her glossy hair, and twined her curls in turn with rosemary or violets or roses, and sometimes she wore a pure white lily. Twice a day she bathed her face in the clear brook that fell from Pagasae’s high forest, twice she plunged her body in its flow, nor would she wear on her left side and shoulder any skin but what became her from best-chosen beasts."
>Ovid, Roman poet
>>
“Leave the beasts here, we'll collect them when we're done,” you grunt, looking up the steep incline ahead.

Vor'zal turns to the bandersnatch alpha, growling something at him, the scarred beast sitting in the long grass with a sniff.

Leaving them behind, your group starts the long climb up the collapsed statue. Vor'zal makes it look frustratingly easy, despite his age, clambering up the undergrowth and sheer rock with no more trouble than most orcs would have on flat ground. As you go higher, the air takes on a metallic tang, an unpleasant, sharp smell that clings to the insides of your nostrils.

Vaki clutches at your arm as you pause on a flat piece of ground, wiping sweat from your brow.

“Vaki can smell it, Vaki wants Ur to be very careful, screaming thing is dangerous,” the fey whispers, looking up at you wide-eyed.

“I will, don't worry,” you grunt, glancing back over your shoulder. You're a long way up now, the bandersnatch pack tiny spots of black amidst the white grass far below. You won't be able to flee, that's for sure, not without a lot of deaths on the descent. Either you need to steal what you can from this beast without it knowing you're there, or you'll need to kill it.

You start your climb once more, cresting the fingertips of some shattered hand, Or'kug holding up a hand for the group to stop as he peers ahead from behind a jagged chunk of stone. You stay low, sneaking up alongside him, the stink is heavy in the air now, and with it comes a deep sound of breathing carried on the wind.

>>41669864
The old orc nods forward as you approach, and looking over, you see your prize. The flat top of the statue is piled high with trinkets and baubles, gems and gold, blades and armor, and other stranger things, cracked marble statues, strange artworks, musical instruments and bottles of drink. The beast has quite a horde, though it looks like it makes little distinction in what it considers to be valuable. At first you can't see it amidst its wealth, until it shifts, sending an avalanche of dislodged coins clattering down to the stone.

It looks a little like a dragon, at least how Ku'zag told you dragons look, a great scaled beast with wings, ten times as long as you are tall from head to tail, its body sinuous and emaciated, a dull grey-green with patches of sickly yellow along the spine. Its head is long, narrow, ending in a small mouth from which a long, twitching tongue flicks in the air as it sleeps, two great bulbous eyes closed on the sides of its head. It looks as bizarre as anything else you've come across here, almost comical in the way it snores, its lanky limbs twitching as it grasps at its treasures, but you've no doubt that a creature of that size could do some serious damage, and that's not even accounting for any strange fey magics the beast may be able to call upon.

So what now, Ur'shal?

This thing is probably at the top of the foodchain in this dream realm; once it's taken out, while the realm's stability start to degrade, or are the other fey creatures dwelling here enough to keep things on an even keel?

Also, since we have Vaki and now the Bandersnatches, can we usethem to reshape this place in any way? Is the dream realm tied to its non-dream geographical location, or can we use our assorted fey to drag it along with us to the jungle? It would be nice to have a near-inaccessible realm to store stuff in in case we get raided again or need to keep prisoners on another plane of existence.
>>
>>41670117
There's plenty of other shit here.
>>
Just saying, but if we attack, best idea would be to try to decapitate, while trying to poke out its eyes with arrows/spears and then jumping away from its mouth, as Bra'kur could try to do something to keep its mouth shot, maybe by shooting lightning into its mouth as it opens it.
Also could maybe ask Vor'zal to tell us or do something, since this might be animal intelligence level.
Do we want to go berserk?
>>41669996
Does our Orcish Fury give straight up bonuses to combat?
You have yet to add our new dwarven and human slaves to Ur's list of slaves, by the way.

I think it's been stated(by Ku'zag maybe) that fey like Vaki should be enough to stabilize a whole dream realm.
I may be wrong on that one though.

>>
Reminder that once the fighting starts we should use our antifey shortsword.

>>

Oho, good point.
Stab it into its eye, or its neck?
Our axe might be able to do more straight up damage to penetrate the skin, but the shortsword is super magic, it like poison the fey or something, right?
>>
>>41670171
I was under the impression it was a scale thing, and a single fey could only stabilize so much.
>>
>>41670190
I think we should use the greataxe and hand the anti fey sword to the nest best melee guy on our team.

Simultaneous sneak attacks is probably best.
>>

Wouldn't that mean leaving Vaki before she gets all her required matings? Or can she pop up from any river/water source big enough?
>>
Attacking while it sleeps wins.

>Roll 1d20

>>41670117
Neither Vaki nor the bandersnatch know how to actively manipulate dream realms, they could certainly manipulate it subconsciously, and indeed it's likely that Vaki's lake and the stone forest are at least partially the result of Vaki and the collective population of bandersnatches' subconscious respectively. The realm won't move though, so if you move away from the ways in Vaki knows about, you may not be able to access it elsewhere. There's plenty more dream realms out there though, and Vaki will recognize the gaps in reality that can be used to access them.

>>41670160
>Does our Orcish Fury give straight up bonuses to combat?
Yes.

Oops, my bad.

>>41670171
>I think it's been stated(by Ku'zag maybe) that fey like Vaki should be enough to stabilize a whole dream realm.
The realm would start to shrink and fray at the edges with only Vaki left to stabilize it, but she's a powerful enough fey that her presence would stabilize a small dream realm.

“We're going to attack,” you whisper to Or'kug, as the rest of the group catch up.

“As you say chieftain, do we have a plan?”

“Focus on the neck and the eyes, once it wakes up, spread out and avoid the mouth, Vaki talked about it screaming, and if it can do the damage the other beasts can do with its voice, you don't want to be in front of it.”

Or'kug nods, as the group starts to clamber over the rocks silently, picking through piles of treasure. Nudging him on the arm as the old orc starts to move, you hand him the shortsword, Or'kug looking down at it.

“Got it underground, it's made to kill fey, see if you can get a stab in with it when we ambush,” you explain, Or'kug taking the blade from you and sneaking forward with the rest.

It's only a short walk, but it's a damned tense one, all around you loose piles of treasure stand in haphazard piles, waiting for some accidental nudge to set of a cacophony of cascading treasure. All of the pack do their job well though, picking slowly and cautiously through the obstacles around them, until you stand before the snoring fey beast.

You raise your axe high, grinning as the rest of your group prepare to strike, then you bring it down, as the pack lays into the sleeping beast. Your axe bites into scale, carving through into tough muscle and flesh. The thing awakes with a start, one bulbous eye snapping open, a tiny almond-shaped pupil fixing on you for the split second before Or'kug drives the shortsword into the malevolent orb.

(cont)
>>
>>41671662
The creature shrieks, its long neck whipping around as it scrambles to its feet amidst a flurry of blows. The group scatters as the beast's lanky limbs and long tail whip around, coins spraying in all directions as it howls and screeches, one unfortunate orc getting caught by a claw swipe and smashed against a mound of coins, the sound of bones breaking audible even over the cries of the beast.

It towers over your group, one clawed hand clutched to its neck, a deep vicious wound pumping blood where your greataxe bit deep, not quite deep enough to put the fey thing down, but it's got to be feeling it. Its face is scarred and bloody with countless smaller wounds where your warriors struck, one eye reduced to a ruined, bubbling mess by the magical venom of the shortsword.

The beast rears back, head held high as it lets out an ear-splitting shriek, your ears ringing at the sound, your vision blurring as it pounds in your skull. No backing out now, either this thing is dying, or you are.

Aim for the other eye and the wings.

Hopefully it'll fall off the edge
>>
We need to take out those wings. Keep it grounded so it can't fly around and harass us with that scream.
>>
>>41672570
works better if we blind it, can't do shit id it can't see us especially fly.
>>
“Ranged attacks, focus on the eye, the rest of you, go for the legs, bring it down so we can strike,” you bellow, your booming voice just barely carrying over the din.

The beast lunges forward with a claw, and you just barely dodge as it glances off your breastplate, the blessed metal spraying sparks. It attacks with no restraint or technique, flailing and lashing out with claws and tail in all directions, your head pounding from the sound as it howls and gibbers, sending its treasures raining down the side of the statue as it thrashes. Despite its fury however, your warriors manage to avoid any fatal blows, though even the near misses break bones and tear flesh.

You see the tiny shape of Vaki bounding across the creature's treasures as she clambers to a higher vantage point, hurling her simple spear at the beast's head. The little fey is no stranger to combat, it seems, and the spear flies true, the beast's earsplitting howl reaching a fever pitch as its other eye is torn by the spear's tip. Even as it claws at the spear lodged in its ruined eye, a resounding boom signals Bra'kur's entry into the fray, an arc of lightning striking the spear's metal, filling the air with the acrid stink of the beast's burning flesh.

Seeing their opportunity, the rest of the group surge forward, Dru'ak leading the three honorguard in a charge as the thing claws at its blind, ruined face. With a roar, your old friend hefts his maul, slamming it into the beast's foreleg, the honorguards joining him as they smash and cleave through the hard scales and tough flesh of the creature.

(cont)
>>
>>41672654
if it get's in the air it can always circle around by sound and smell. Best to keep it on the ground where we can dispatch it quickly. And it doesn't have to see to fly, it on top of a mountain, all it has to do is jump off.
>>
>>41672704
It stumbles, collapsing to the ground head first, its long neck crashing down into the gold and jewels. Seeing your chance, you launch yourself forward, bellowing a warcry as you bring your axe down once more on the beast's neck. It serpentine neck twists at the last moment, and you carve another vicious wound into the flesh, but again it denies you a fatal blow. The blind head swivels round, the tongue tasting the air, and you hear the beast inhaling, a harsh, sharp sound. Its tiny mouth opens wide, and you dive to the side as it shrieks, the noise loud enough to make the air ripple as it passes, splintering stone and scattering gold as it rips across the ground.

The blinded beast starts to try to pull itself upright, tasting the air once more as its tail lashes at random, seeking out some victim at random, and you strike again, slamming the blade of your axe into its skull, sending it crashing back down to the ground with an angry wound across its snout.

A clawed hand smashes down just scant inches behind you as you duck to one side, the beast desperately trying to swat you away, the rest of your pack laying into its body, slicing through the stony scales.

The screeching gives way to a fearful burbling and gibbering, and you grin as you hear the fear in the thing's voice, staggering as you heft your axe, blinking as you see the ground before you stretch and twist. The damned thing is not out of tricks yet it seems, the rest of your pack's attacks slowing as they find themselves similarly affected by the creature's bizarre mutterings, if anything you think you're a lot less affected than the rest, as you see one of the orcs slip to the ground, his limbs twitching as he tries in vain to make his body move as he wishes. Your breastplate feels warm against, the magic of it crackling in your chest. Just one more push, and you can finish this thing off for good.

>>
>>41673607
Hey we still fucked shit up.

Besides that has literally nothing to do with this situation, your grasping at straws.
>>
You feel that familiar rage building up within you, boiling to the surface, the twisting, warping landscape giving way to a bloody haze. You bellow out a guttural warcry, your voice drowning out the creature's voice as your pack starts to drag themselves to their feet.

The creature's head whips around to face you, even in its mangled state, it heard that. It breathes deep, readying another of its fatal screams, but it is far too slow. You feel your thoughts slipping, replaced with a sheer, undiluted urge to kill, and as it gasps, you charge straight on at the beast's mouth. Your boot collides with its jaw moments before it can unleash its screech, the blast of sound ripping harmlessly up into the air as its head snaps back.

Your warriors start to join in the fray, hacking at the beast's body, gouts of blood and gore spattering in all directions as they rip into it. Gripping your axe tight, you slam it into the neck of the beast, slicing through meat, the thing uttering pitiful wails as the enchanted steel bites bone. With a primal howl, you bring the greataxe down one more time, severing the creature's neck, its body spasming in its death throes.

Dropping your axe, you grip the fallen head in both hands, muscles straining as you lift it high above your head, roaring your victory to the heavens as the fey beast's blood pours down upon you. Your pack's voices join yours as they tear apart the creature's body, the bloodlust starting to fade as you howl in triumph.

Taking a deep breath, you let the head down, damned thing weighs a ton. Your warriors start to calm too, Dru'ak wiping the gore from his face with the back of his arm as he shoulders his maul. Well, you think you can safely say that this fight is over. Aside from the blind, scarred head, the rest of the creature has been reduced to shredded meat, cracked bone and scattered scales.

As your clanmates check on the wounded, you look over the collection of treasure. This could take weeks, at least, to move out of here, but provided some other giant fey predator doesn't move in, there's no reason you can't take your time doing so.

“Don't forget what we're here for, find the elixir,” you shout, hoping that the creature's rampage didn't shatter the bottle.

You spend some time digging through the hoard, Or'kug stepping up next to you as you look through the loot for your prize.

“We're lucky, no dead, a few injured, and one badly injured,” the old orc explains, as you sweep aside coins.

“How badly injured?”

“Broke his shoulder, three ribs, and put a crack in his skull, rattled his brains when it did. He should recover, but he'll need some help getting back to the camp. The rest should be fine, a few fractures, but nothing they can't walk off,” he explains.

You nod, grinning as you spot what you came for, another vial, similar to the one Vaki had before, filled to the brim with the same glowing elixir.

“That's it, that's the glowy goo,” Vaki chirps, appearing at the top of the pile, grinning down at you.

That should solve a lot of problems, and without any deaths, if only all your plans could come together so well. So now the question is what else you want to take back with you?

Prioritize weapons and armor. Their the most valuble things to our clan, and the best gifts we can bestow upon the raiding group.
Close second will be scrolls/books and potions.

Feed the bandersnatches the flesh and bring back the skull? Its going to look nice either over the top of our tent or as a throne of sorts.

Anything not magical.

We don't have use for the gold and jewel yet, since we have no trade.
Armor and weapons on the other hand, could be quite useful. Bra'kur should be able to detect magical things.
so about just equipment, magical equips first.

But promise some good loot and stuff for the guys that came on this raid.

Anything that could be used in combat or has a practical usage should be saved for actual use. The rest just goes in the loot pile.

And have some mages check out which items are magic, and find out what they do.

I'm going to have to put together a loot list at some point, now that you're gathering more stuff.

>Will she be happy at our looting and killing the loud screamy thing?
She looks pretty excited right now.
>>
Okay, so the treasure is going to the storehouses for now, though you'll promise some good stuff for the orcs who took part in the fight later.

You're prioritizing weapons/armor and magical stuff.

You're taking the head.

and finally you'll be using the bandersnatch as pack mules.

>>
>>41673836
would it be possible to put harnesses on the bandersnatches and use them as beasts of burden? after we get back to the camp, that is.

So once our lieutenants take whatever magical gear they want. (don't forget to ask them all, like Lo'zol and Ya'zar and Za'ria) We should start outfitting our Honor Guard and the Pack Leaders with magic shit.

>>
>>41674017
>>41674080

>>41674117
The bandersnatch are stocky and powerful, kind of like a mix between a bulldog and a large cat, and reasonably large. They have a powerful bite on them, a vicious set of claws, and the added benefit of their supernatural howl. They would make for good warbeasts, certainly.

As for matters of crossbreeding, fey are pretty strange about that in general, so it is entirely possible that they might be able to breed with craglions, but that's still very much a maybe at present, and you have no idea what sort of cubs would result from such a union.
>>
>>41674153
Would inbreeding become a problem with them? Will we have to go get more bandersnaches to maintain a population of them or are they fine breeding among the 15 we have.
>>
>>41674128
I kind off want to hold off on that and give them to her either when she learns she's pregnant(if she hasn't already), or when she gives birth.
>>
>>41674185
It could be a problem, hard to say, but you would certainly benefit from additional bandersnatch if you want to start breeding them.
>>
>>41674219

Right now your only riding beast option seems to be the Stormhorns when they're grown, though Ku'zag has mentioned other beasts in the wastes that you could track down for mounts. Ripper Lizards for one.

“Have the pack start gathering up loot, practical things come first, weapons, armour, anything that looks magical, we'll reward them later,” you explain to Or'kug, the old orc nodding as he goes to organize the process. You'll be doing a few trips up and down to gather all you can carry, especially if you can pile some of your new plunder onto the backs of the stocky bandersnatch.

The first trip down has less loot, since two of your warriors are carrying the head between them, and another is helping the most wounded of the pack down to the ground. The bandersnatch look less than happy as you start piling loot onto them, though with a growl from Vor'zal, they become more agreeable, if still a little annoyed.

Some hours have passed by the time you've gathered enough, weapons, armor, some of it useless to warriors of your size, but still valuable as raw materials, as well as a collection of scrolls, tomes, bottles of strange alchemical liquids, and other, stranger things. There's too much to look through it all in detail now, you'll have Ashuris' pet elf look through it all when you're back, that's what you keep him around for, after all.

Vaki leads you on a different, roundabout route to a small waterfall, an alternate route you suppose. The fey hums to herself the whole way, she looks rather pleased about getting her revenge on the creature for its attack on her home, and even by her usual standards, there's a spring in the river fey's step.

You'd wager you've got a fair few weeks ahead of you before all the treasure is back, and more to look through it all. Still, you can leave the majority of the busywork to your clanmates, one of the many benefits of being chieftain. Despite that, you've got a lot of work ahead of you overseeing the transitions the clan will be going through in the days to come. Glancing over at the beast's severed head however, you are content that you can handle whatever troubles lie ahead.

Right, calling it there, because we're about to get into the timeskip and a whole lot of admin, as it were.

I'm going to post the post-timeskip updated character sheets on the character sheet doc shortly, though bear in mind that Ur's one does not have as many stat increases or the like as everyone else's, which is of course because what stats increase and what other benefits he gets will depend on your votes on how the time was spent.

I'm sure there are things people want to ask about, but at least one thing I can think of to mention is that Ashuris will learn the Shackle the Spirit spell, a Ylugrian spell which allows domination of non-mortals, like fey, intelligent undead, and divine servants. Don't expect to be dominating anything too hardcore with it at level 1 though...

Good question, Ku'zag knows such things are theoretically possible, but he's never personally encountered it, so if Ur ever knocks up an undead of some description, it will be a learning experience for everyone.

>Could Za'ria survive orc dick fury?
Yeah.

>Did ash's boons of beauty and earth level up?
Beauty is still where it was, that's not something that levels up easily, her magic did get a little better though.

>Soul Warding (lvl 1, Sorcery, Spell)
Protects against supernatural powers that attack the soul directly, it's handy against some necromancy, not to mention keeping abyssal horrors from hijacking your body.

>Spirit Pulse (lvl 1, Sorcery, Spell)
An AoE pulse of magical energy that messes with spiritual entities, causing disorientation and pain.

>Who are these niggas?
Fey "gods", the details of which Ur doesn't know, and Vaki can't really explain it.

>Also i find it funny that vaki is our strongest slave/mate, maybe even as strong or stronger than Ur.
Vaki is weaker than Ur on land, of course in water all bets are off, since her lvl 3 Water Sprite boon gives her a +3 to every physical stat while in a reasonably sized body of water.

What is the clans opinion on shortstack pussy in comparison to the usual fare?

Are the bicycles happier that there are more to share the workload among or sad more people joined them. Additionally how do most of the bicycles feel about orcs in general, since most who receive orc dickings turn loyal, but they get it kind of 24/7, do that just go sex crazy or what?
>>
>>41675522
Sure

Aqua Barrier is exactly what it says on the tin, a magical barrier of high pressure water which the caster can manipulate and reshape at will. It won't stop a concentrated assault from a powerful adversary, but it's good for deflecting and throwing off weaker attacks.

Arcane Infusion is Izannia's natural magical abilities as per her infusion in the womb, it makes her capable of casting for longer without tiring, and a more naturally talented spellcaster in general.

Awaken the Steel is cast on a weapon, which must be mostly metal, so it works better on things like swords than, say, spears. It makes it quicker, sharper, it's a combat buff effectively.

Breath of the Fire Dragon is, again, what it says on the tin, breathes a great gout of flame from the mouth upon casting.

Entropic Purgation is a quick and dirty healing spell of a sort, it aggressively purges the body of dangerous influences, whether that be poisons, curses or abyssal parasites. The upside is that it's quick and simple to cast compared to more in-depth rituals in healing arcanas, the downside is that it does this by blasting the body with entropic magic, it hurts like fuck.

Hand of Unmaking enchants the users hand so that it breaks down mundane items it comes into contact with. Izannia's combat strategy is basically sword in one hand combined with this cast on her free hand so she can smash enemy weapons and armor.

Steelskin is pretty self-explanatory, toughens the skin, but also adds a fair bit to the weight of the caster, not recommended for areas of difficult footing.

The rest are all arcanas, which are the general schools of magic.

>What is the clans opinion on shortstack pussy in comparison to the usual fare?
It varies. Some have been swearing by it since the dwarf slaves were claimed, others are cool with whatever, and some aren't all that into it compared to their race of choice.

>Are the bicycles happier that there are more to share the workload among or sad more people joined them. Additionally how do most of the bicycles feel about orcs in general, since most who receive orc dickings turn loyal, but they get it kind of 24/7, do that just go sex crazy or what
While some of your bicycles have kept the majority of their wits about them, most are rather more traditionally mindbroken. In general they have few thoughts beyond "I sure do love all these big green dicks", but yes, some of the ones who still have thoughts beyond that are pleased for the assistance, or jealous that the new additions may draw attention away from them.

I haven't decided exactly what's in the hoard yet, honestly, should have that figured out by next thread.

>>41675706
It's going to take some time, but she'll be fairly compliant by the time the timeskip is over, if still a little proud and stubborn, though judging by Ur's liking for Ashuris, he might not want to dick that last thread of defiance out of her anyway.

As for Lokasi, she's still a bit on the quiet and sullen side, but she's certainly loyal, and Ur does seem to have been making strides in improving her mood by allowing her a little more freedom as she becomes more loyal.

>>41675715
It would, yes, though you haven't left Izannia in a fit state to cast even simple magic by the time you were done any of the times you've been enjoying her.

>>41675726
Yes, she could be relied upon to do that.
>>
>>41675792
Then starting next thread i propose we start using Lok'sai as a guide for our forays into the jungle.

Also speak with her about the local elvish settelments and if she would be okay with helping us take them down. Not gonna force her on that one though.
>>
>>41675792
Will our honorguard be complete by the time the timeskip is over.
>>
>>41675880
It will indeed.

>>41675852
Okay, mention it to me next thread.
>>
>>41675792
>you haven't left Izannia in a fit state to cast even simple magic

Did Izannia know about orcs and their sexual prowess before getting turned to stone? Were orcs a danger for Szar Izas?
>>
>>41675915
Orcs have lived in the wastes for a long time, so yes, the danger of orcs was known to her, she existed pre-orcish kingdom though, so as far as she was aware the orcs were savage nomad clans that sometimes raided the outlying rural areas of Szar Tzas, and occasionally worked as mercenaries as well.
>>
>>41675962
What is Vor'zols opinion on the bandersnaches?
>>
>>41675993
>>41675962
Along that line. What sort of warbeasts did the old orcish kingdom have?
>>
>>41675962
>occasionally worked as mercenaries as well.
Were orc mercenaries considered a good investment? Sure, they possess considerable combat capabilities, but they also rape anything that can bear them children.
>>
>>41675962
eta on the Reaver isles fluff?
>>
>>41675962
How common is it that people are unaware or in denial of how powerful orcish dickings are as opposed to them just being convinced they'll somehow get away before they break?

Because Izannia certainly seemed to belong into the first category, as did the other more proud slaves.
>>
>>41676043
I think they just don't know about the supernatural influence part of it. They think it'll be like any other rape.
>>
I totally forgot we had our electro vambraces.
>>
>>41676080
>>41676043
Considering the chick is from a magic family and a noble, i think she knows about orcish hormones, also you guys have to remember the orc kingdom was infamous on using female spies that were turned through the power of the dick.
so most people probably belong to the second group, but underestimate orc dick.
>>
>>41676080
Eh, at least the human kingdoms should have plenty of evidence to the contrary by now and you'd expect the more well-educated and long-lived races to pcik up on the magic stuff, even with all the pride their racial cards come with.
>>
>>41675993
Useful, not the best beasts he's ever come across, but they have their uses.

>>41676014
Wargs were a big one, obviously, aside from that Stormhorns and Ripper Lizards were used as more specialized mounts, generally by the elite warriors. Aside from that numerous other beasts were used in varying numbers, drawn from the wastes, the jungles and some places beyond.

>>41676030
Well, as long as they were only raping the enemy, Szar Tzas didn't really care, and orcish mercenaries were very good in a fight, and would often work for drink, slaves and weapons rather than actual gold, which was fine by their employers.

>>41676034
Hopefully sometime this week, hopefully.

>>41676043
>>41676080
The supernatural effects aren't widely known outside of certain academic circles, and amongst those who have a lot of direct contact with orcs, Izannia probably understands that there's some sort of supernatural aspect to the effect, but not all the details. As with a lot of things in real life, there is a very widespread belief of "well it won't happen to me" when it comes to the addictive qualities of orcish dickings.

Izannia was relying on being able to either get away, or her family coming looking for her, and was confident that her trained will could keep her from succumbing in the meantime.
>>
>>41675962
>and was confident that her trained will could keep her from succumbing in the meantime.
This isn't the case, I presume?
>>
>>41676179
Does Vaki have room to grow and improve her stats, or is she as powerful s as she is going to get?
>>
We need to go hunt down some ripper lizards to tame before we leave the wastes.
>>
Were you expecting us to do this well this thread? We got damn lucky
>>
>>41676179
How is Aleida getting along with the new additions to Ur'shal's harem?
>>
>>41676179
Have their been any instances of infidelity involving the female orcs of the clan? Have any succumbed to temptation and rode dicks that didn't belong to their mate's?
>>
>>41676179
>>41676328
Personally, I'm more interested in how the new additions interact with everyone else than Aleida specifically.
>>
>>41676244
To her credit, she held out for quite a while, Ur had to put a lot of long, hard hours into making her more compliant. Just as well he loves his job.

>>41676278
She can still improve, yes.

>>41676325
You were very lucky, 17 was about the lowest roll you could get which would not result in at least one of your warriors dying, even if you were successful overall. A single bad roll could've cost you several clanmembers, and potentially done some serious injury to you or one of your lieutenants. Somehow you rolled well enough to not only punch above your weight class, but come out of it mostly intact.

>>41676328
Of the new additions she probably gets along with Bryna best. Vaki, while she is friendly to the little fey, you get the feeling she finds her a little unnerving, and Izannia has not endeared herself to Aleida in their short time together.

>>41676385
No, at least not any that got found out.

>>41676399
Anyone in particular? Because I'd rather not write up every single interaction between every single harem member right now...
>>
>>41676440
Can you add a list of dominated magic casters to Ashuris's character sheet. Like, where we have our slaves and mates section, give her a domination section?
>>
>>41676452
Sure, I'll add that in sometime.
>>
Ima make a rough to do list

>Acquire Ripper Lizards
>Test Bandersnach breedablility with Crag Lions
>Distribute Enchanted loot

Any other ideas?
>>
>>41676466
I know this might be nitpicky, but could you also add a quick deceased to Lorsyth, Zazarag and Kragur in the character listing section?
>>
>>41676486
When I started it I figured it'd be a long longer
>>
Our harem has officially hit double digits. YAY US!
>>
>>41676440
>Izannia has not endeared herself to Aleida in their short time together.
Because Izannia has a hoity-toity "I'm much better than you because I'm a noble and you're a filthy peasant" kind of mentality?
>>
>>41676440
Hmm.
Well, I figure that Sho'ka is molesting everyone, so there's not much to ask about her interactions.

Izannia's attitude towards the other humans could be interesting as could be her interaction with Ashuris given that they do share the prideful magic user thing.

From the shortstack I'm curious if she's actually bonding with anyone outside of Aleida, since Aleida seems the most normal one and therefor the obvious target for attempts at non-sex related socialisation.
Dwarf-elf interactions might be interesting in particular.

And with Vaki I'm wondering if she actually gives a shit about any of the other harem members at all.

Does K'zala spend time with any of the non-orc members?
>>
>>41676466
What are Gorm?
>>
>>41676531
Silly anon.
Shit eating barbarians are worth even less than peasants.
>>
>>41676440
How has Lo'zol been adapting to the clan? How's he feel about everything? He hasn't had much screen time
>>
>>41676466
Also, for females that eventually have children, they should probably get a section that details how many and any important named children or whatever.
>>
>>41676466
How is Luzia (juk'ruks former slave) reacting to her change in masters?
>>
>>41676466
How did Dru'ak deal with making sure his sorceress didn't start spell slinging all over the place? bound and gagged? we need tips.
>>
>>41676531
Yup.

>>41676495
Sure.

>>41676532
Izannia treats the other humans like backwards barbarians. In Aleida's case it's just resulted in Aleida having as little to do with her as possible, in Inka's case, your mates have had to break up a couple of arguments before Inka could get herself hurt taking a swing at the battlemage. Izannia and Ashuris has not led to a happy connection between too proud spellcasters, if anything they seem to be rubbing each other the wrong way, perhaps on account of how similar they are on some levels.

Bryna is getting on fairly well with Aleida only, though you've seen her chatting with Vaki quite a bit too, it seems the fey has come to rather enjoy Bryna's nonstop talking for whatever strange reason. Beyond that, Bryna either doesn't have much to say to the others, or in the case of Inka and Ashuris, actively avoids them because they make her uneasy. Her and Lokasi have honestly not had much of anything to do with each other.

Vaki is equal parts curious and uninterested in your harem, sometimes she'll bug one of them for hours on end, other times she's off in her own little world and couldn't care less about any of them. She seems to have a fondness for Bryna and Lokasi more than the rest, for reasons you haven't figured out, especially in Lokasi's case since the elf just seems to find dealing with the fey's constant attention rather frustrating.

K'zala mostly just socializes with your mates, though Aleida speaks with her sometimes.

>>41676571
Lizard-like humanoids native to the howling mountains, they're not a big threat to orcs save in large numbers, they tend to be scavengers and ambushers more than straight up fighters, though they have mastered simple tools and traps.

>>41676609
He's adapting well enough, though since he's not a lieutenant, he's rather slipping into the background. He's earned a fair bit of respect from your clanmates though, since he's a tough bastard.

>>41676612
Yeah.
>>
>>41676709
>>41676466
Speaking of that how is she coming as far as being broken?
>>
>>41676709
Pretty much, yeah, kept her bound and gagged to prevent spellcasting, and kept fucking her until she was properly loyal.
>>
>>41676719
Why is he not a lieutenant? I never got why we didn't make him one. Za'ria is special, and we killed the former chieftan of that clan. Making lo'zol a lieutenant would show the former skyhunter clan we are invested in their interests and they would have a representative to speak their grievances through.
>>
>>41676663
Well, she's still a bit nervous and twitchy, but her new master isn't beating her, so it's definitely an improvement in her books.

>>41676731
Who?

>>41676760
You could suggest it over the timeskip next thread, he wasn't a lieutenant before, so it never really came up at the time.
>>
>>41676760
>>41676719
I thought we did make Lo'zol a lieutenant? I thought that was a stipulation to gaining his support in fighting the skyhunter asshole.

Plus he's a skilled as fuck fighter, up till this recent change he was on par with Dru'ak.
>>
>>41676796
Dru'ak's sorceress.
>>
>>41676719
Vaki's thing for Lokasi sounds a lot like the elf's fey ancestry doing something.
Not sure why Ur wouldn't think of that but whatever.

Do dwarves have something similar going on or is that likely a more personal preference?
>>
>>41676818
She's broken, Dru'ak doesn't need to keep her tied up or gagged anymore.
>>
>>41676835
Personal preference, and yeah, Ur had considered the possibility that that was the reason.
>>
>>41676796
any chance of getting Kayapi to get with Ku'zag and work on setting up a garden for medecinal herbs in our new outpost? They can compare notes and make plenty of postions and the like. Plus she knows the jungle and where to get shit, etc etc
>>
Right, this Q&A went on a lot longer than I intended, and I am exhausted. Any further questions, post them on ask and I'll get to them when I'm not falling asleep in my chair!

Thank you all again for playing, and I'll see you next time.

>>41676855
Sure, you could do that.
>>
>>41676854
>>41676841
Does Thea work with Y'zoa and Sarsi in leather and armor crafting?
>>
We should slam the head of the fae beast we fill in front of Aurora, and let her know we are no afraid to kill things much bigger and more powerful then us. My hope is, even if she doesn't think Ur will Slaagyr, she'll certainly worry about what the costs of victory will be
>>
>>41675063
We can't, you stupid shit.
>>
>>41677012
Not to mention it looks like a dragon.

Just tell her we were practicing for Slayggr,
