>Who are we?
Maka, an exiled noble Exalted as a Zenith-caste Solar. Queen of Gem, now ruling the western island of Tianna. You have gathered a lot of allies and friends, and have a powerful Manse under construction.
But Tianna is actually an artificial island, built around a First Age Titan: an almighty flying fortress built in an ancient, forgotten age, and although this is kept secret, two Deathlords are seeking to obtain it.
The Tyrant of the Doomsday Machine, ghost of your past incarnation, seeked it as a weapon to cut her ties to the Neverborn. But you have persuaded her to try and seek redemption in the eyes of the Sun in other ways, and count her as an unlikely ally.
But now the Silver Prince is coming, to punish her and claim the Titan for himself in the name of Oblivion. And this looks like a battle you won't be able to talk your way out of...

What about detaching her power core and command systems from the superstructure of the Titan? Even crippled like this, she could surely still fly a badass Shield Helicarrier style airship. It won't be anywhere near as disgustingly fuckhuge as the Titan, but it could easily still be the size of a small city.

It'd be cool as hell.

"No sense worrying about this now. The fight is over. We won. Let's leave it behind, for now." You pat on her shoulders, trying to cheer her up, or at least distract her.

She looks up to you, and you get the feeling that whatever you'd say to her now will not have much of an impact. She needs time to sort herself out.

So, time to change the subject a bit. "...Do you happen to know where Howler in Darkness ended up after the fight?"

She frowns. "We... couldn't pry it off the Bodhisattva's fingers, even once he passed out from the dragon's breath. So, he still had it clutched in hand when we threw him down that hole." She nods to a large opening wrecked in the metallic floor, going through bulkheads, piping, machinery, armor and rock. Deep below, you see a bright reddish-yellow glow: molten rock, you guess, or maybe metal. You can't even imagine what firing the Light of Judgement underground might have caused.

"...As an side, mind explaining what exactly that thing was?" You ask, to both her and Samiel.

Flame picks up the question. "I used to have a fleet of Thousand-Forged Dragons with me. I think Irene and Valeriana found enough parts lying around to jury-rig something like that. All Thousand-Forged Dragon fueled themselves siphoning Essence from around them, and had an energy-discharge breath weapon. Looks like they fused the two components together to create a device that drains Essence, then releases all at once in a blast." She glances aside to Samiel.

The Dragon-Blooded nods. "It was something... very much thrown together at the last minute. We found Valeriana as she was inspecting the wreck of one of those dragons, and had the idea because the Essence-draining system was still intact. We used it to disable the Bodhisattva's persistent charms and unattune his artifacts, and then hit him right after that."

"Thank Sol it worked." You mumble. Ironically, the Bodhisattva might have saved your life, in a sense. He was between you and the blast.

You look down the hole again, this time trying to understand exactly the situation down there.

It's hard to tell just how big the cavity that the Light of Judgement blasted underground is, but it's clearly vast. It seems roughly teardrop-shaped, with the walls covered in molten rock and slag, and still-liquid magma and metal pooled at the bottom.

The explosion clearly liquefied part of the bottom side of the Titan too, not just the bedrock. As far as you can see, the firing mechanism is entirely gone, or, at least, there's just an empty hole where it should logically be.

Your blessings protect your body from all harm suffered from natural hazards, but you're not sure how much this counts as "natural" exactly. It shouldn't be any different from normally molten rock, and you would swim in Dancing Smoke's lava with no harm even though that wasn't TECHNICALLY a natural volcano, as its heat was fueled by the Titan's essence discharge vent.
So you're reasonably sure you're not going to be hurt, but you can't be 100% sure until you try. On top of that, if you drop down there... how will you climb back up? The walls are slippery and angled in all the wrong ways. Even with your powers and charms, it looks like a hard climb. Maybe not impossible, but definitely hard. And you can't imagine Samiel dropping down a rope. It would burn. Well, maybe if he found a long steel cable..

In any case, you can't see any trace of Howler in Darkness or of the Bodhisattva or anything else. The sword might have sunken to the bottom of the lava pool...

...You also have to wonder, is such a huge empty cavity just below the Titan at risk of cave-in? Just the thought gives you goosebumps.

This place manages to make you feel singularly ill at ease. Old bad memories and new bad memories merge and overlap in rather unique ways. Interesting, if only academically. Honestly, you can't wait to be finally out of here. To have the sky once again above you, and your friends and lovers around you.

These dark, narrow, ominous spaces make you feel... so dreadfully lonely.

Why, then, do you have this odd hangup? Why aren't you leaving?

There's some kind of lesson to be learned here, maybe,m but you can't quite put your head to it.

There's what must've once been bits and scraps of paper, but you fail to put together enough to form even a bit as large as your thumb, and the ink is all gone in any case. Glass bits that maybe once belonged to a bottle or ewer, strips of rotting cloth...

You want to get out of here. You don't want to be in here. You feel like the more you stay in here, the more she will come back.

We have a twilight solar with a talent and passion for engineering and the Titans goddess to help oversee. If we ever manage to get the manufacturing base and material we'd need to repair the Titan and the workforce to do the job then yes it's well within our capabilities. I've had some ideas on that. While surfing the ask.fm I noticed this exchange.

And it gave me an idea. Punch a hole somewhere in the island down to the Titan, maybe down through the volcano since it seems like it may be cooling now. Another location might be an option.
Get some of the flight systems either from the Titan or the Dark Omen and use it as a sky crane to lift sections of the titan from underground for assembly. We can use earth magic to form supports for the island above as sections are removed.

We wouldn't be able to pull the entire Titan out like this but enough to assemble a smaller flying fortress. I expect this would take years, but it would depend on how quickly the earth magic could move in rock and how much the Dark Omen could lift.

The problem I see with that plan is that the Titan is literally the only solid part of the island. You can't prop up the earth above because it's just that: earth. No stone, just dirt, sand, and gravel. You'd basicly have to build a roof over the entire Titan to hold everything up, and building a kilometers-wide (and high) underground vault, especially one with no natural stone to work with or build on in any direction and largely below the fucking ocean, would be an involved operation even in the First Age. For us, now? We're about five orders of magnitude short on manpower alone.

You lift up and angle before your eyes the golden slab bearing the effigy of the Unconquered Sun, and you an't help but marvel at it.

It's beautiful beyond words, doubtlessly the product of an artisan of vast, superhuman skill and inspiration.
